HATE THIS APP!
It’s been months now since FB launched this insane app….
I didn’t think I could possibly hate it more than I did when it first came out. I do. Absolutely NOTHING makes sense, nothing I actually need is available to me, receive a message in the inbox? Clicking on the notification that announces it leads to…. NOT the message. Yet the app continually prompts me to boost a post, grow my audience, list a website… every single day.
The app has a bottom row of icons that only show me bits and pieces of partial information or info that I don’t want and have no use for. The entire app is piecemeal, nothing is cohesive. I’m not even close to being technologically challenged, I've been navigating it for years quite well, this app makes no sense.
I run two community pages with no commercial needs, no merchandise to sell, yet I have to watch my notification inbox fill up with Facebook’s self promotion to buy ads, boost posts do this, do that…. I keep removing them hoping your continual tracking spy bots will get the message and pass it upstream. NOPE.
I run 2 very small, rural Facebook pages and for some reason only one of them is available through this app, I don’t know why the other one isn’t an option…. It was there when this app first started out but it’s been gone a long time now.
I’m seriously considering shutting down both pages. It is simply not worth all this frustration. I don’t have the time to wade through to being forced to wade through unnecessary windows, endless clicks that take me wherever I don’t even need to go. Even the Feedback link does not work. Maybe they don’t really want feedback, after all…. Facebook corners the market on social media, why should they care?

App does not recognize correct password
I manage a Facebook page for a business. I'm trying to set up my business page via my cell phone with the Facebook app and pages app. But neither will recognize the password I know to be correct because it is a password that I have confirmed is the one I sign into my desktop to(sat with my phone and desktop side-by-side and signed into the both simultaneously my desktop signed in my mobile did not.) I even tried to go into Safari and sign into Facebook using the credentials I know are correct as I have them written down and have confirmed they are the same as the ones are used on my desktop but still would not work. I have found several articles about this type of problem but no solution. There was an owner of this account previous to me and it was deleted but he is no longer employed by the party that hired me. I wonder if this part of the problem because when I send a password recovery through my computer I get all the information when I send a password request through the phone it is sent it to information I do not recognize. The phone number I don't recognize i have the option to send it to my email and select it but when the code comes Facebook reports an error and then nothing happens.I'm writing this review mainly because I cannot find a person to talk to about this issue and I need it solved. I understand app glitches the fact that I cannot find a phone number to talk to a live person about this is crazy. You all need to have a number to call to report issues so you know what to correct and to help your customers even if they're free customers. If could get this resolved I would be a paying customer because I would pay for advertising for my business. Please send me a private message to help me resolve this issue issue. Thank you.
App continuously crashes
When I open the app, it just immediately crashes. Facebook recently updated one of my pages to be cleared to monetize, and ever since that happened the app crashes when I open that page. Sometimes it’ll work for a brief period, then it stops again. I last had that page opened, and now I can’t even open the app to change the page.
This particular product that Meta puts out seems to just constantly have some nee layer that breaks it. There are a plethora of issues that keep arising because you don’t finish the products you make. You add new layers that users don’t really ask for, and your updates constantly change workflow behaviors. Scheduling posts was a lot easier, and now I constantly have to jump between screens to continue the process.
Frustrated is not strong enough of a word. I have put pretty much all of my social media presence on your platform, and your company constantly makes me question that investment of time and effort. You ignore bug reports. Nobody can contact you. It’s really frustrating.
I’m not trying to call myself the expert above experts, but the years I have spent on here and the millions of followers I manage… it is insane to me that people with such broad reach on the platform have NO ONE from Meta to work with. I’m sorry I’m not CocaCola and don’t have $10,000 to drop on ads every month. However, for the love of god do you have analysts who test workflows and process maps for how users experience a constant change of your apps? Do you really think you understand user behaviors so well that you ignore your power users and their needs?
I am so disappointed, because you stole scheduling posts from the mobile app’s functionality. Now you keep breaking this and other apps. I swear at this point I would do pro bono analyst work just to have an app that works.
Still needs work
4th review: The latest update has not fixed the problem with sharing a photo and writing a long paragraph that is associated with the photo, the app does not scroll down or give the option to scroll down to your last line. It only shows the first few sentences then you can't see what your writing. This works fine on the iPhone version but the iPad version it does not work. Please fix! Very annoying!
3rd review: Finally listened about the landscape mode and increased text limit on posts but there is a major problem that makes the text limit increase void. When in landscape mode and posting a picture while adding text, you reach the bottom of the text box, it doesn't scroll down further so you can actually see what your writing. You have to highlight the last sentence and highlight to the bottom to see what you wrote and then it jumps back up and can't continue to write without being blind on what your writing. Still very buggy and needs work. I keep saying jut rebuild it like your Facebook app so you don't keep having these nitpicking problems that should be fixed during testing before release.

Still has the text limit when posting pictures. Never had the text limit when it was first introduced. I can only write about 6 lines, ridiculous! Still no landscape. As I stated before, just rewrite the app from ground up and make it right the first time and don't put out half assed updates.

Still has a 5-6 line text limit when sharing a photo.. That is still a MAJOR flaw! Also, would be nice to have the app go into landscape mode. I use landscape mode about 90% of the time. Wish the app was more like using the computer as the manager, still a lot of features left out. Just rebuild the app from the ground up like you did with the actual Facebook app and get it right!
Deleted from my iPads today
Updated on December 11. For the first time since I have had the app, I have decided it to delete it. I wonder if there is some software engineer at Facebook who is simply clueless about user interface, or just randomly makes changes to the interface with each update just for the heck of it. I manage two pages. I can see there tags for the recent activities, but when I get to the pages using the iPad app, I cannot find the activity. I’m all for a relatively uncomplicated (and even sparse) interface, but not at the price of utility. Facebook just doesn’t get it. And I have had it.
Updated on March 4. I don't know if some of the issues with this app is because of glitches in the app or because of Facebook's incessant changing of the service thereby impacting how the app works. I still can't scroll through an album of photos in a fluid manner. Most recently I discovered that I cannot scroll through my likes. Another issue is that if I want to delete spam attached as comment, I still have to go to the desktop. The more I use the Pages app the less I like it.
Generally speaking, it's great to have an app to manage pages. There are a few irritating quirks however. For example, recently, Facebook has made it so that every time you load the app it requires a secondary step to log in. Pointless and irritating. (Updated: This is now fixed)
Another concern is that if you click in an image in an album, sometimes you can swipe to navigate to the rest. At other times, that doesn't work. So there are interface inconsistencies where a function does one thing sometimes and another thing at other times. It is almost a crippled version of the regular Facebook app. (still a major problem)
It needs to be refined. We're there alternative apps for page management, I would consider them in a heartbeat.
Useful, if incomplete and bugged
I find Pages a worthwhile download, issues asside. It is handy to post pictures and status updates when I'm not at home on my computer, but not for much else. This is currently acceptable as those two features comprise MOST of my Administration activity. However I would like to see the app expanded in future updates and bugs fixed.
I agree with many of the other reviews; Some issues that will improve the app's rating in the future include:
1) Login Stability and Continuity: I will often be booted an forced to login again periodically, even when actively using the app. Oddly enough, when I intentionally log out of the app it still sends me push notifications. This has pushed my data usage up to the point that I disabled them entirely to avoid going over my limit. (Incidentally, the ability to disable push notifications easily within the app itself were a positive feature).
2) Photo management: Admins should be able to tag images, sort photographs into different albums, and edit/create albums themselves from within the app.
3) Event management: Admins should be able to create and modify events within the app.
4) "About the Page" Section: Should be manageable (modifiable) from within the app.
5) Deleting / Moderating user posts: Sometimes followers post unacceptable things. The feature was recently added, but very buggy. 100% of my attempts to actually do so resulted in an error message and the deletion not being carried out. I'm then forced to wait until I can access my PC.
6) Member Banning: Other times, followers do not take the hint, or cross too far over the line to be given a second chance. The ability to ban them on the fly (thus keeping the page hospitable) would help maintain a welcoming Page community.
7) Selective Identity: The ability to chose to post as the page or as my personal account would be useful.
Pages App = Decent
I have been using the Pages App for quite some time now for my blog. At first I thought this was the end all of having to be tired to a computer all the time, but I find out different.
First of all, the app is designed only to allow update of statuses and sharing of photos. There is no real "timeline" for the account. On a normal Facebook profile, the user can see their homepage with activity of people they are friends with. What would be nice is if the Pages App did the same thing, only in the timeline, you see the other pages you have liked and follow.
Secondly in following with the first issue above, it is imperative that their be a Share button on posts from other pages should pages get their own timelines. It helps the spread of information to reach further and allows people to easily do it from the app rather than login online. After all, most things are done via mobile these days!
Third, the ability to schedule posts is great and all. However, it only applies for text NOT pictures via the app. This needs to be fixed so that users can schedule to share their media just as they can words. Sometimes, it's not so easily to keep up in life while managing a page alone and still working a full time job. Can I get an amen?
Finally, and last but not least, can there be a better functionality of the app? Most times when scrolling through my profile of posts, I find that it slowly glides though posts rather than at high speed like on the regular Facebook app. It also is clear that there is no "touch the top of screen" feature to go back to the top of the page. The user has to swipe all the way back up just to refresh. It's inconvenient!
That is all I have to say. I hope my ideas are taken into consideration during the creation of the next update. It would be nice for the 2013 update included all I've asked for. I'm sure I'm not the only person that would agree.

Forget the reviews, just try it out
First time using this app. I did not know this app existed. So far so good, there’s lots of cool features.
The negative reviews are almost all “bug related” They’re angry, just don’t pay attention to that part. Just try it out if you haven’t before. I like it. It actually helps.
If you plan on using Facebook Ads to market your business pages. This is app is literally going to save you money in the future.
For example, did you know this app is combining “email marketing” + Instagram/Facebook in a way. If you’re selling something on the internet, link up your Facebook and Instagram accounts through the app, and the app CAN be your mobile “customer service” department for the brand/business/etc.
Now if they soon added staff accounts? Buy a couple cheap phones, preinstall this app, along with Facebook and Instagram.
Send these out to your newly, screened, “Virtual Assistants?”I don’t know, just a thought.
Now, I don’t want and don’t plan on using traditional email marketing. Personally, email is well not trendy I guess. Over a billion active Facebook accounts and that doesn’t even include Instagram.
The “email list” is already there. Just need to create some ads and wait for Facebook to integrate “email lists”. But, this app already allows some form of automated email marketing.
You can block messages when your CS dept. is “closed” with a customer message (“email”) on a set schedule. Facebook will definitely expand this side of the app, lets hope!
This app has a lot of potential. Facebook just needs to clean up its act, use their billions and continuously update this app faster. So we can make them more money. Everybody makes money!
I’ve seen kids making apps with an audience, update their stuff faster than this and for free. They, literally do it over night and for their audience.
Lastly, just want to leave off on that I’ll continue using this app and seeing what else it can do for my business. A must download app for dropshipping, shopify etc.

This wonky as one line review where you can’t see the rest of the page is s prime example of what crap this suit has become. Of course y’all cut out the feature I used thee most which was the calendar and ability to book my appointments. First it quit syncing with the Google calendars on my phone which caused MAJOR PROBLEMS when my appointments either came up missing it stacked up on top of each other. So I completely quit using the app at all to book. It’s UNRELIABLE! Business wise IT’S TRASH! It’s basically nothing more than a flash page to show work I could have done on a regular Facebook page. But as a functioning business pages, IT’S CRAP! All the statistics and Numbers are not even a second thought to me. If I can’t book appointments conveniently and count on it transferring across calendars on all of my devices, it pretty much USELESS! Instead I book straight on my Google Calendar I can trust now. Amazing app but…
Amazing app I will say that! I have been using this app for over 5 years since I opened my business. But the only thing that they completely f&$k up was the calendar system. In my opinion the calendar feature or calendar tab was one of the best features to this app. I’ve use just about every type of client appointment scheduling system like square and so many others but this system was by far the best of them all. It was so easy to navigate and organize all appointments, clients, and client conversation history. It could even let clients request times and dates that they want and can be approved and sent directly to their Facebook or Instagram. Other calendar apps involves a lot of back and forth just to check availability on your calendar. It may not seem like a lot but when you’re dealing with hundreds of people it can get frustrating very quickly. But since they updated the system they for some reason decided to get rid of the Calendar tab. Why they did this is completely beyond me it’s honestly baffling. This was the strong hold that made this app so unique. And now you can’t use the appointment calendar tab in the new updated version. I can’t wrap my head around why they got rid of this feature and the only way to use it again is to downgrade your Apple we’re getting rid of the up dated version which they call the classic version. There’s easy steps on how to do it but honestly it’s it’s not that easy because most the time it does not work. So why can’t they just put it back on the new version? It doesn’t make sense to me. In order for me to view my calendar I have to scroll through previous messages with clients find a client with an appointment already booked and then click to view their appointment on calendar. I put a lot of time and energy into perfecting my business page with this app m. The thought of having to start all over with another app that can’t even sync to my social media accounts to make it easy for clients to make appointments is not an option. I hope one of the developers or someone over there reads this and correct this issue.
Decent thought/Bad execution
This app continually boasts about how it makes things easier and more efficient for those running business pages on both FB and IG, by combining the use of both into 1 app... In my experience, as well as that of countless others, this is 100% untrue, plain and simple.
They might WANT this app to streamline things for us, but in reality, it’s unintuitive, glitches constantly, and is full to the brim with “ new features” and “updates” that are unnecessary, and rarely work.
This app COULD be a great tool, and eventually do everything it claims to be able to do, with ONE fix... (I’m sure it would be neither simple or easy, but I’m also sure it’s the only way to fix this thing.)
-STOP adding “new features” on top of a broken foundation. If you’d take the time to fix the fundamentals and basic features of this app, instead of piling new features on every time you release an update, it’d make a world of difference. An app that reliably does 10 things EXACTLY the way it says it does, is infinitely better than an app that can do 1000 things 50% of the time.
Seriously... Piling more crap on top of crap won’t make this thing smell like roses.
Never, at ANY point, has this app outperformed the Pages Manager app. (Wasn’t that the whole point of this anyway? To be a more efficient Pages Manager, that streamlined the combination of FB and IG business pages?) Not even when it was first released... Why would you release a step backwards? Why not wait till you knew for certain it was READY to do everything it claims? I mean, I don’t see any other major combination of social media platforms catching up to you or anything... so what’s the big rush? And why CONTINUE the rush, instead of fixing your foundation?
I don’t really see any competition sneaking up behind you right now, but continuing like this is a sure-fire way to get some.
Based on the amount of Dev responses to Criticisms here, I doubt this will receive any sincere attention, or thought for that matter.
But hey, what would you need advice from me for...? You guys are already bazillionaires, right?
This app is trash
I run the lost and found pets Facebook page for an animal shelter. Our shelters main page is set up to run using the “nonprofit” template provided however that option does not fit my needs - there is no predestined option that does. While there are several aspects of several templates that I would like to utilize, I’m stuck using the general template because there is no way to customize what I need. It’s nearly impossible for me to get a grasp of what my page looks like due to the colorful icons directing me to make events or post jobs or some other feature that is not useful and the constant questioning if I want to promote posts is exhausting, overwhelming, and constant. While I understand the impetus for new page operators to see “boost this post!” On every single thing they post, as someone who has used the boost feature multiple times and understand how it works, seeing so much redundancy is not only tiresome but extremely obnoxious. I don’t have appointments but the only follow up message is for “reminders,” which I find interesting as I have had Facebook games I never initiated play with message me without provocation. I have messaged a page
And answered questions asked to me and received clearly automated replies based on my responses - the page I run as it is presented to me has never offered any further options for automated messaging. When a visitor post is made, I receive the notification that it was posted only to not ever be directed to a place where I can actually approve it. The insane amount of notifications that require “action” is asinine for my purposes and that they require some sort of action for me to remove the flag on the app icon is exhausting. The fact that there is no option to auto-schedule away times for chat aside from the 12-hour window makes it virtually impossible for me to maintain the “rapid response” badge. To be very honest, this app is just garbage and I truly do not understand how it was released in its current form. I do not see how anyone could find that the benefits of this app outweigh its innumerable shortcomings.

➡Why is there suddenly a Text Character Limit on Statuses and Photos?! What is this, Twitter? I used to be able to paste entire articles as statuses or along with photos. Now, I am hardly allowed 3 sentences before your apps erase or stop me from typing or pasting more! (THIS SHOULD BE A TOP PRIORITY FOR THE DEVELOPERS TO START WORKING ON ASAP!) *This is a problem is currently on the Facebook Page Manager for iPhone App. I'm not sure if it's an issue in the other Facebook for iPhone App or Mobile version. I haven't rechecked because I feel the urgency to send this to you immediately.
➡Whatever the case, all of these problems seem to occur with updates. You try to go forward in one direction, and break the most BASIC and most needed features when you "improve" the apps. Please pay closer attention to the needs if your users. There are some of us that ONLY use Facebook via their phones and desperately NEED these features to work. Thank you.

➡Cannot TAG names in STATUSES or COMMENTS within any of the iPhone Facebook apps!

➡Each update seems to only make the apps worse, not improve.
➡➡QUESTION: Why have all these 'updates' and 'new features' when all of these VERY IMPORTANT, VERY SIMPLE, and EXTREMELY ESSENTIAL features are not addressed or offered in any of your "non-desktop" versions for Facebook?
By the way, this was just a quickly-typed, short list of issues.

Way Too Many Bugs. Wish I Had The Older Version
New: With this version on the app, it displays no posts and says you haven’t posted yet, even though many entries have been posted. Any software developer would have caught that mistake in a second.
Won’t all access to app unless I give it camera and microphone access. Won’t ever happen! Erased! Recent Recent Update: Now scheduled posts are worse than ever as you can’t edit, can’t see the date and time scheduled, can’t see the photos, can’t do anything but BOOST! I wish someone else would create a new social media platform that actually works. Recent Update: Now you can’t edit scheduled posts. This morning, you could edit scheduled posts. Gone from bad to worse! Now, no photos display when sharing a link! Total garbage! Tremendous amount of bugs: 1. Can't view all your new members. 2. Took away the ability to edit your scheduled posts. I use it all the time and now I have to go to my computer to do all my changes. I can't even edit the text if I go to the website on my phone. 3. Now the regular Facebook App doesn't list the newest comments and members. 4. The list more button to see additional posts does not work. You can only see a few posts and older posts can not be viewed. 5. If you promote an older post with the computer, you can not continue to promote it because you can't view it. 6. Can't see my calendar posting, 7. Many of the side buttons don't work, 8. Moved the scheduled listing button to a stupid place on the screen for when you scroll down to view your posts, you now have to scroll all the way up again to view your scheduled posts when before, the button was always on top. 9. Now you have to use the Facebook App, Pages App and your computer to make all the changes and addition, when before you had to rarely use your computer. 10. The statistic numbers for a single post never match on the Facebook App, Pages and the computer. You have to always look at all 3 places to figure out the right statistics. 11. Too many more bugs and I am tired of writing them... This was not an upgrade, it was a downgrade. And why hasn't a reply to a comment been fixed/added. It does not post the reply to the comment.
Good idea, completely worthless
I can’t do any more with this on this app than I can on the full Facebook app. I can’t even properly schedule posts. When I first downloaded it I though, “Great! I can be working through another app instead of fearing navigating away by accident,” and scheduled about 6 posts to go out throughout the week. Nah. It just posted them all at once. Fortunately, that page hasn’t broken 20 followers yet, and just decided to delete them and do it again (ugh) through the full app. Even now, I’ve just scheduled another thing to go out in about 12 hours, and it’s not even showing up in the “scheduled” list for me to edit. Or if it did, it’d probably just decide now is a better time to post it than waiting for the actual time I want. But alright.
I’ve got to click through every single setting to see a notification I’ve missed, and it’ll just randomly shut off or stay on and I give up. I don’t understand the logic behind not clearly showing where a notification is coming from.
The layout is completely unintuitive and I feel like it’s trying to trick me into going places it wants me to use, rather than being functional. Which makes me want to chuck my phone against the wall.
The ONLY thing this does that the other app does not (not even “better,” it simply functions… kind of…), is let you comment as the page. The full app has removed my ability to comment as the page, and I had to do it through my desktop. So that near fiasco (I don’t have my personal profile associated with the page at all) is the only thing that’s keeping me from deleting this thing altogether. And yet another reason I’m discovering this with a page that has no followers yet.
I don’t know why it’s necessary to try manipulating people into using your tools they way you want them to, rather than just coming up with good features and then making them easy to use. If that means it’s lists of options and less visually appealing, alright. Or maybe the sections need to be customizable so that it can still be pretty AND useful AND people can put things places that makes sense to them. But I’m not an app programmer so I’m not sure how that would play out.
Anyway… Facebook, you have the tools. Do better.
FB Apps Are The Worst Ever
I generally reserve my negative reviews for my self, and I hate even posting them but since the pop ups continue to insist I will oblige them. As if it will do any good...
First off, it is my opinion that if any company should have the obligation, priority, and talented individuals on staff to create, maintain, and improve a mobile app system FB should above all be that company. Think about it, mobile devices and sharing our lives through them is really the only thing that FB should be good at, should be masters of. I see pictures of the FB compound going up for construction, see the billions of $$ the company is worth, all of its success and yet it still can't produce a reliable app... not one of the 3 I use is good. It just makes no sense...
What makes an app bad? Crashes, inaccurate info, inconsistencies and conflicts within itself as well as between its sister apps (speaking of Facebook, Pages Manager, and Messages apps here), inability to regularly receive its push notifications, things like that. These apps demonstrate those problems constantly and worse than any other app I've ever used.
Problems:
1. Red bubble icon alerts fail to appear consistently, yet when you open the app there are numerous notifications you've missed.
2. Red bubble icon alerts appear yet when you open the app there are no new notifications or things new.
3. You see a notification alert showing comments have been posted to a posting yet when you close the notification window and look at the specific posting it hasn't updated and shows nothing, so you swipe to refresh/reload that posting, it does reload and still nothing. You open the posting on the sister app and it shows the comments clearly...
4. When you get say 3 new likers on your pages app you click the notification and it only shows one person, or the notification shows 1 new and you open them and there are many more.
We're just talking countless annoying nuances that make you scratch your head and ask "why is that broke again, still broke, or now broken" over and over and over. These are just the few that come to mind, in time I could make a list of 20+ serious errors and flaws with these apps. Just about each time I use them it is a pain, yet I still use them, holding to the faith that one day FB will get their $&@! together.
So after all these years GET WITH IT ALREADY!

Now I have a computer dictating to me what type of ads would or would not be beneficial to my business ? If I would have wanted a partner in my store to make these decisions for me and not give me a say in it, I would have sold 60% of the shares in it’s ownership to an egomaniac or my ex-Mother-in-law ... naw I take that back. I have always had the best two mother-in-laws, it was only the one ex-husband I had issues with.
Our business is located in a small town just North of a San Francisco in California. Our clientele are very particular as to the involvement of the places they spend their money at. Their spending dollar is power, something that is getting scarier and more scarce everyday with large corporations like FB forcing us to use an app with less functionality than a game of solitaire and a lot more glitches. At least when I play solitaire, I enjoy a quick game to kill time when waiting for something to have to be done. Not so with your Pages App. When I use your pages app, I expect to get work done and not be second guessed at what type of ad would be good or not good for propelling my business forward in gross earnings. We have been in this business before your founder was born and know a little bit better than your category logic to what will make our business grow.
You stick to your business which is tracking the hell out of me and in return you are supposed to feed me my notifications about getting messages and comments on my posts, without me having to go hunt them out thru the FB app by checking all my recent activities one by one, and in turn I will stick to my business I know oh so very well because it is our livelihood. No thanks to you lately so much so that I cringe at the thought of getting some work done in such a time wasting and frustrating environment and In order to avoid the pain, just play solitaire instead of opening pages to go to work and now everyone thinks I died because they do not see me at the store any more.
I had no problem teaching myself windows and then Apple, but it is impossible to learn Pages because it does not act rationally. With each upgrade you have released, more mafia tactics are pushed onto it’s users till something has got to get better because it sure can not get worse. You have hit the same plateau that made me switch from Microsoft to all Apple products and tp have never take a look back since. Do not forget that eBay used to be the only game in town till they got one too many rules and $1.00 too greedy.

Crap for business
Lots of poor performance (all documented here). I've been using Facebook as a person since 2007. I've been using the Pages app for 3 or 4 years, maybe 5. It's been a long time Considering the revenue stream that FB gets from businesses advertising, you'd think their official app for business would be as top notch as every other business app out there...but it's not.
Crap performance:
NOTIFICATIONS:
I'm an admin for a couple of my businesses. I log into Pages, view my notifications, and respond accordingly (likes, comments, etc). Hours later, I'l log into the standard Facebook app as a human to do normal non-business stuff and I'll be presented with the same dumb notifications from the Pages that I manage. It's not like it's a latency thing - they never sync up to show as "read" between the two apps. This is a crappy user experience. C'mon FB team - you've got the data to see that I've already clicked on those notifications and even responded...why must I be presented with a bunch of "false positive" notifications again when I use the standard FB app? I could understand if another admin for the same page I manage had responded to those notifications and you wanted to show me that there had been some action while I was away - that would make sense...but the same exact things I've personally already dealt with? That's crap - use all that data you've got to make your platforms talk to each other...or give me an option to turn off Pages notifications in the standard FB app, or something!
LOCATION:
I spend money in the Pages app to advertise on FB. My business services are ONLY local so I always use location-based targeting in my ads, and I'm being ripped off (keep reading). I also use the standard FB app as a normal user to keep up with friends. I have a lot of geographically disperse friends, and when I host parties in different localities, I use my friends' location data to determine whether it makes sense to invite them or not. As I invite people by scrolling through my friends list, I see that the location my friends designate (where they currently live) is wildly wrong...like it hasn't been updated in years (because I helped them move into their new house years ago, so I know). Typically this type of "bad data" is on the user to update, but considering Facebook (the company) is taking my money and serving up ads to people that they (Facebook) KNOW haven't been in that geographic region for years is bad on them. In fact, I'd go as far to say that it's downright deceitful. There are a plethora of ways to validate where a human actually is, and those ways get more accurate and plentiful over time. The user checks in to places, gets tagged by people checking in to places, makes posts from certain IP ranges that are categorized geographically, adds new friends that are from this region, starts logging on in from new ISPs that happen to only offer services in one region, etc. I could probably list 20 different ways using BASIC, READILY AVAILABLE data to geo-locate someone. If Facebook gave a crap about the quality of data their business clients rely on and to whom they serve the ads to, they'd put a program in place to figure out where people are, and if it differs from the user's given "home town", to prompt the user to update their location info. Doing so would offer the user a better engagement score with the FB experience (since they wouldn't be served ads from a "local" business that's thousands of miles away) and the businesses would likely get better results (people purchasing their products) from their ads because they'd be served to the correct geographically based audience. More engaged users, wealthier businesses with more money to spend on ads. Hmmm, sounds like a win-win for Facebook's tactical, investor-based goals. If you're a FB shareholder and you're reading this, you should be upset that FB is using your investment to add new childlike functionality so they can keep up with the Snapchats of the world rather than improve the platform that ACTUALLY makes them money. Sure, doing so might freak the user out that you're (FB) watching them and know they aren't in there town that they claim they are...but you're the almighty Facebook...surely you can figure out a clever way you do this without spooking the user!

Page Manager App what you need to know! To get the best results while utilizing it!
I’m not a huge fan of FaceBook (love the app, Mark Z at one time was among my followers) it’s the culture that it has evolved into. Censure this , under review. Your temporary unable to access your account while it’s under review. We are still waiting for the requested documents.(uh excuse me Mam, I sent it over the same day you all blocked & denied me access!) now 2 weeks still not able to logon. That’s Facebook now a days. Gone are the times you went on a hunch and put in your best friend from 4th grade ( doo doo Butt) it’s what everyone called him since he had that embarrassing uh accident so of course you erased his birth name from your memory. But look over hear honey this Facebook is the new age sure beats AOL & Prodigy . No babe I never did MySpace. Isn’t that like for hookups? Anyway I went into the search bar & lo and behold before I even finished typing it predicted the name combination and he popped up! This was my best friend in the whole wide world! Memories of your fun time as a young kid rush to your mind! You reestablished a friendship that’s even just as great now your in touch . Your family’s are in touch and surprising your better half is now besties which their’s & your kids are like siblings! You couldn’t ask for anything better! That’s the good old days try putting your name “Doo Doo Butt” in less than a week your going be hit with a 24 hour advance notice that you need to use your account name exactly as the one that is on your ID and all important documents that you guard with your life to prevent Identity theft. (I have had it occur in my life 4xs!However , Facebook is on some corporate gangster extortion trip. Prove it’s your name post your true stats on a app that’s globally used! (I think the NSA) just installed FB on their super computer hired a whole bunch of newly graduated university students (all there trying to enter the game of life & prove themselves. No better way than working for Uncle Sam anand V op limiter and being a little clandestine & evasive when queried “so where you say you work at again?” Because my friend Sarah’s has a cousin who’s dating this person you know where & they said they never heard of you & it’s not like you spy ️ (technically you are a spy analyst #thatskickass) so you are lying and just can’t find a job smh all that money your parents gave you so you didn’t have to worry about rather you can stay this semester or wait out a few until you saved up. Trouble w/typing speed & posting status!
This app is a great idea for people who use or run pages on FB. But my 1st time using it today, was a nightmare! Some settings I couldn't access on cell app (said to use computer to try, which defeats the whole purpose of having this app on phone so u can use on the go! When trying to post 2 simple status updates, the scroll feature is tweaky (wasn't letting me see what I typed after 3 lines), & typing speed was SUPER slow! I had to pause 3 secs in between each letter I pushed, so it had time to catch up! PLEASE FIX THIS ASAP APP MAKER DUDES! No one can spend 10 mins just to type a few short sentences! I'm a fast paced person, & try to get a lot done in short time... So this speed & scroll issue made it so frustrating!
Good Point: Its nice to be able to switch between personal accts & pages with ease, like on computer, & been waiting for the ability to use app for pages.
Bad Point: Not able to "copy/paste" other's comments, posts, etc. using iPhone's built in copy/paste feature on FB apps, which is annoying in the highest degree! Every other app (& iProducts) allows for this feature... So why did you disable it for FB apps (at least the main FB app & pages app)? People actually NEED those shortcut features on FB all the time! Sometimes important stuff needs to be copied & saved on the go. Today I needed to tell friends that a buddy had just posted he was in the hospital! I NEEDED to copy his post & post it on my wall... & I couldn't cuz the feature is disabled when you try to even highlight something! This interfere's w/other iPhone features too, like those who use the "speak" feature to have the posts read to them after highlighting the text they need to hear! So blind people cannot "listen" to FB posts now cuz they need the highlighting features used for copy/paste, in order to do this! Fix it for my grams please! Also add a font size selector cuz blind folks need more accessibility options on FB! Apple is great w/those features... Get with the times! Its not that hard to add a size selector or reader to FB! Many sites have this now.
Bad Point Everyone Will Agree With: Why does FB even have to have 25 different apps to use diff features on the SAME SITE anyway? This could easily be ONE general FB app, that does it all: Pages, Profiles, Private Messages, Video Upload... Its getting better, but why not have this all on ONE app guys? It makes no sense to make users take up phone space w/dozens of FB apps, just to be able to use all the features!
PS: FB apps in general (the main FB app & this pages app), since last update, I've noticed I can't seem to "swipe" to prompt delete of old status updates anymore?! Are we supposed to just leave old outdated posts up forever? What if u made up w/your bf & want to remove the post about your fight w/him? Or you accidentally uploaded the wrong pic & need to delete it quick? Please fix this! I do not want to have to use my computer to login & manually delete old posts! No one does! But every time I swipe to try to delete, instead it moves the wall page over & shows the black hidden sidebars on either side where u access settings & friends. Its an annoying glitch.
PPS: NO ONE LIKES THE FRIGGIN TIMELINE FACEBOOK PROGRAMMERS! Its confusing & hard to follow posts on people's walls (layout is worse on computer). People want more privacy settings & for FB to STOP SCREWING W/OUR PRIVACY STUFF! Seems like slowly, its becoming more & more public to all..& lots of people don't like that! Our security & privacy is not something to treat as trivial. Most people view FB as no longer a "choice to use the site," cuz for many its the only way to stay in touch w/loved ones & stuff. Leaving the site simply isn't an option for most who use FB to promote their biz, find long lost relatives & keep in touch with childhood friends & family in the military over seas! If it weren't for that fact, no one would put up w/FB continuing to compromise our privacy, change our wall layouts to stupid "timelines," etc. But when you run a site where family's discuss private stuff, post pics of their kids for grandma to see across the country, connect with co-workers, even have business meetings (cuz that's where everyone's at), you have to treat their private info with care, cuz kids don't always understand this stuff & make mistakes, & not everyone wants their co-workers being able to see their private life (or potential employers looking them up after a job interview to see what kind of person they are)! You made it a non-optional entity online, so now respect the users who made you that big! (Just sayin what everyone else complains about all the time! Haven't you heard them yourselves yet, or are you idiots?... Or maybe just money-hungry execs who could care less?) If u care enough to prompt users to give feedback, then take their concerns seriously! When they all say they hate the new timeline, DON'T FORCE IT ON THEM JUST CUZ YOU FEEL YOU CAN! 'Nuf said.

FB business suite
Incrediblly bloated failure. I'm no novice on the PC, my 2 yr degree is in computer programming. I learn things fairly easily, but FB business suite is an epic failure. the navigation from the profesional dashboard to commerce manager to shops etc is non existant. everything you need to market your business should be in 1 navigation bar. its not! if I clicked around and got luky there were still immense hurdles to get to the next area I needed to go to , I wasted 2 weeks trying to set up a basic shop to sell products, multiple chats and calls with support to no avail. In the meantime I was able to, in half a day, set up a shop in Michaels new Maker Place, upload my items and go live.
FB is still useful to network with others in my field and stay in touch with my customers, but the business suite sucks donkey balls.
Desired outcome: none, I'm done.
Constant issues
Can’t tag other businesses or anything on Instagram via business suite. Can only tag fb businesses. I have managed multiple business pages and this is frustrating. Is there something that needs to be changed in settings to enable this? I’ve searched and can’t figure it out.
Also pages don’t update or freeze, posts fail to publish.

Edit button disappeared overnight
What happened to the edit choice on my scheduled posts option. One day it’s there & the next day it’s gone and then it shows back up on my desktop but not my mobile. Then 4 days later it shows back up on my mobile. You need to alert accounts when things like that are being disabled or changed. So frustration that we are trying to run a business and run into issues that prevent us from doing so efficiently.

So many bugs!
There are so many bugs and continuity issues with fb and Instagram back-end interface, I don’t even know where to start. You get on your phone, you can’t see things that you can see on the web. You go on the web, you can’t see things that were on your phone. For one, get the simple crap fix on this backend interface please! You can’t even schedule post without having some issues with thumbnails or the actual post going live.

Infuriatingly outdated
I use this app to post on my store’s Instagram as a social media assistant so that my boss doesn’t have to supply the Instagram log in to me and it is such a difficult app to use because it is not updated at all to be reflective of Instagram’s tools. I’ve sent in multiple support requests for the app to be updated to use all of Instagram’s interactive story tools and have had no reply. This is such a frustrating app to navigate.

Messenger and comments
The feature is great but I cannot click on people that comment on my page, I cannot get into their page to see who they are and just view anyone and I cannot easily access my direct messages or message folks that post on my page.
It’s like looking at a big picture with no functionality. For that it’s better to have a normal page with the access necessary

UTF time messes with my schedule
I’m On Eastern Time and when I schedule my client it has theirs showing 3 hours off. For instance I schedule 3pm on my end and their end shows 12pm. I have gone in settings several time to fix it but it still does not work. I also cannot reschedule without the time being off. This is very frustrating trying to run a business and can’t have the time correct. How hard is it when I have the time set up for Eastern time zone and it’s not showing the correct time on the clients end. It is showing UTF on client. Please fix or tell me how to get this right.

It’s okay but buggy (especially on my iPad)
There are constant bugs with this app, but it normally works alright. Sometimes I cannot access my pages without logging out and back in. My published posts and scheduled posts do not even show up, which is very annoying. Getting to different settings in my page feels like chasing a rabbit. And just when I discover how to do something, an update moves or changes the name of the item. It’s pretty annoying. I hate having to go back and forth between facebook app, business app, then my phone app, then my computer app. Why can’t 1 app just do what it is supposed to do?

DO NOT USE FOR APPOINTMENTS
The worst app for booking appointments. It worked great for two years and then about 4-5 months ago it’s been going down hill. Business suite deleted most of my contacts and notes about clients. I’ve had trouble with booking times being wrong, automated reminders sending clients the wrong time zone so they showed up at the wrong time (my time zone was set to the correct time), not being able to link appointments to previous clients, no longer being able to link phone numbers to appointments, and there is no way to receive help for any of these issues. I finally had to just go with another app.

More difficult to manage than ever
I manage multiple pages and it’s more difficult than ever. Now I can’t even change settings without going to a computer. I’m extremely mobile and having to go to a computer to make changes is cumbersome. Also, I can’t even see posts correctly now from the business suite- I have to go to Facebook regular and then go to my page. They have made this so convoluted, I freakin hate doing pages now. I used to love the ease it had. But the most recent changes makes it ridiculous. Not to mention regular Facebook app can go to your page too, plus the business suite plus then some things you can only do on a computer. Ridiculous.

Great idea, poor execution
The two apps that this one app represents are individually incredibly, but this app is FAR from that level. It’s great to be able to control both but it’s so much missing from a compatibility standpoint. It’s so disappointing because I was stoked when I discovered it but I definitely don’t use it.
Meta in general has a difficult time providing all the features/benefits of both platforms and it’s frustrating. My facebook can post to instagram but not the other way around and all that changed once I signed up with meta.
I dk how long this will take to fix but I really hope it’s soon. Tech is way too advanced for this not to be a 5 Star app at this point.

This is a waste of time for my business
I have been trying for years to get my Shopify to connect to our social media. Their system is giving an error and they just want to give the run around. I have wasted so much time with the clearly outsourced “help desk” and no one will actually help.
Some of them say they can’t open file sharing recordings of the problem, and some of them say they can only open file shared recordings. They’re inconsistent.
The error says I don’t have permission yet allllll the permissions are set correctly. These permissions, by the way, are redundant. There’s half a dozen places where you set permissions so the system itself is clearly complicated enough that people who work there can’t even figure it out.
Waste of time. Time=money.
Pay for advertising with anyone else.

Too many glitches
There have been several occasions where my coworker with the same access has asked if I received a notification and I will get it a day later by this app. I’ve had several glitches throughout the last year of having it but the one last night has been the worst. A customer responded to an ad posted and her original message to the ad keeps popping up at the top of my phone every 2 min. I thought it would have fixed itself but overnight my phone kept lighting up. There’s no way to clear her message or even block the customer temporarily to make the notification stop. Also I can read and respond to notifications but the app will still show them as unread. I’d almost rather run my page through the Facebook/Instagram app. It’s a great appeal to keep your messages and comments in one place but the app is very glitchy and to me, unorganized.

Still Can’t Share Content Directly to Business Suite on my Iphone
Cmon, it’s 2023, the business suite Still doesn’t show up in iPhone suggestions so it isn’t easy to share content on pages or groups! As an admin of several pages and groups, it is still very difficult to share content I find browsing easily to the groups or pages - unless I am willing to open the specific page or group, then paste the link and share. From Chrome or Safari, it only takes you to your personal profile/feed on Facebook instead of showing options to post on the page or the group or multi select. Have sent so many complaints and feedback to the super intelligent folks at Facebook but one has to wonder, how they keep omitting this vital flaw everytime they release an update. Unless this is fixed, busy admins will not use the business suite as there are more resilient and user friendly apps out there!

less than halfway there…
this app should be the go to manager for everything Meta business, but it has frustrating limitations.
the messages stability (ie marking messages as read, responding to them) is poor.
if you’re posting to both instagram and facebook, the posting options and UI seem to mirror facebooks process. instagrams is arguably better and more modern.
another example, when posting to stories your options for text do not include options you get on instagram (typewriter) and you cannot post stories with links.
on the whole, i feel like this app would be better if it cloned ALL options for posting to facebook and especially instagram. it should essentially be the apps themselves but without the feeds. as a creator this would be incredibly powerful and useful.
additionally, updating the UI to be smoother and more clear cut when it comes to instagram vs facebook information would be amazing. analytics too!

Not helpful when issues persist
Wish I could give it half a star. Meta business suite works several months of the year and then randomly decides to disconnect everything and make it impossible for me to do my job. I am the sole media manager of a small non profit and in mega FB and IG are no longer connected and I cannot find anyway to reconnect the account even though in many other areas the accounts are connected. I can no longer schedule any IG posts and meta claims I am not authorized to connect the accounts and manage the page (I very much am authorized to do so). I resorted to use a different social media scheduler in the meantime in hopes I could get my work done but that didn’t work either because Meta STILL thinks I am not the page admin even though the account I use is the admin page set up by my workplace. This platform is incredibly frustrating
and there is also no place for people who o go for support when these issues occur. Overall meta has made my job incredibly more difficult than it needs to be.

Having A REAL Problem trying to Create Events Through The App & Page Switching
I’m an administrator for a character appearance page for kids and families . I am furious with the new pages experience and Facebook business suite. The page was updated to the new page experience and now I can NO Longer switch onto the Facebook page itself even though I have full admin privileges along with 4 other administrators.
When I try to switch into the page ( whether I’m on desktop or mobile device; it attempts to switch onto the page but it says all of the features are broken and comes up blank and boots me out of the account along with my personal account. I’ve had to reset my web cache THREE TIMES to get back into my account and pages which worked but I cannot switch into the business page at all. Before the page was updated to the new pages experience I was able to do this no problem.
One of the other features the page relies on is event creation. I don’t believe that’s possible right now with the current desktop version of the Facebook business suite even though I do have administrative privileges to do so. I dug through the app and found the events toggle, tried to set up an event with full details and a photo thinking that everything would load properly like I can on my personal account. The details and time transferred but the cover photo for the event never loaded and made it look like the event was incomplete or blank. Also I could not add co hosts to the event at all.
I have to create events for the page from my personal account to get all the features I need.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE fix these problems or we will find a way to disconnect our business page from the Facebook business suite.
