On 1/24/2022, I Initiated a discussion with Store Manager "Matt" at the aforementioned location. Asked if there was anything he could do with respect to a bed frame that had broken and appeared to be 6 months out of warranty. I had purchased the frame at this location in 7/17/2020, along with other beds and related items for the total price of $4780.04. "Matt refused do anything for me. He stated,"it's just like buying a car, out of warranty, you pay for it". I explained that we had spent nearly $5000 here and he stated," I don't care, I have people that spend $15,000 in here". My reply was,"so you are not going to do anything about it?". Then I showed him a picture of the broken frame I had on my phone. Matt then said," I'm the manager here, you can get out of my store, or I'll call the Sheriff's Department on you and have you arrested". My response was,"My husband is the Sheriff". Matt's response was" you must get all kinds of privileges for that don't you"."Matt" then turned and walked into the back room and left me in the store. I then called the Metro Mattress customer service number and reported this incident. I spoke with Tarra, she stated she would call me back after looking into it. She didn't call me back for two days, so I called her. Tarra referred me to Justin. Justin made arrangements for me to pick up another bed frame at said store. on 1/27/22, I picked up the new frame and paid a $40.00 fee. TKS! Suzanne Sheldon-Bourke
Desired outcome: Take the appropriate action with respect to a rude and obnoxious manager that poorly represents Metro Mattress and mistreats customers.
