When you google "Mobile Eclipse" with "Kenny", you don't get one relevant result but three, all for the wrong reasons. Those complaints represent a very small amount of victims who encounter one kind of a service from him, who ever search the internet, of those who bothered to file a complaint against him.

I was having battery problem with my Oppo Find 7, albeit an old model, after 2 years, my phone cannot be started up. This shop was able to provide a new battery, mentioned Kenny, after I scoured almost all the handphone shops in Bedok central. After which he revealed he had sent the phone to the service centre himself, which he acted as middleman, and he of course, should earn a bit afterall, saves my trouble of going down to Suntec (or possibly queue for hours, I don't know).

The bad part, you have to call him from time to time to check if your phone is available for collection. I've made over 10 calls in 3 days, of which some he refuses to answer. On the day of collection, eventually, he promised me to collect at 9pm, his shop was closed when I reached there! I called him up again and he apologized, much to my dismay.

He charged me $80 for the battery, $50 for damaged ic. Kenny mentioned if the ic is not changed, I can't power up more than 20% of the battery. I paid up happily as I know nuts about those service charges, walked out happily with my phone, thinking the worst is over.

Barely a month after, my phone encountered the same exact problem, cannot be started up, intuitively I went back to Kenny, this time he told me the problem could be with the motherboard. After two days and few calls, again, he didn't give me any reason why it was delayed or anything about the service progress. I was thinking, if he is going to charge me again for the motherboard, or whatever is damaged, I was better off getting a new phone instead, aside from his don't-bother attitude and his empty promises.

Really a cheat. Kenny of this shop. Cheated $100 off my iPhone which I wanted to trade in. Took the phone and went off, saying he had to ship it off so I’ll just need to accept his lower price.
