I dealt with this company a while back. The typical phone call telling me I had a few thousand stashed away somewhere and all I needed to get it was to sign over a percentage of the cash to them if they retrieved it for me.

Tried to get more information about where it was, or what it was related to, but they wouldn't budge. Kept trying to pry some info out of them, to make sure I wasn't being scammed (they asked for key proofs of identity...big red flag if you ask me) and eventually they got less and less warm. In the end, I told them to stop contacting me and, lo and behold, a week later I get an email from a local bank I used to use when I lived in QLD, telling me to activate or access an old account before it gets automatically closed. Turns out my old job had paid for some work I'd done a while ago. Change of physical address and the funny spam settings on my email meant I didn't even know it was there. Anyways, got my money all on my own, but it goes to show. They were trying to sell me my own cash for a 20% kickback, hoping to get to me before the bank could, Real classy (sarcasm...)

Summary: Money Catch probably isn't worth the bother. I'm just lucky I don't like giving people my personal details (i.e. enough proof of identity to access one of my forgotten bank accounts...). Would've cost me almost a thousand just for them to use my authority to recover my own money in order to give it back to me minus their 20% cut!

I just wanted to alert the public to this shady business Money Catch. I've never been so angry at the dirty play of an Australian business. so I will try to keep this short and stick to the core essentials:)
My best friend owns and runs an unclaimed money agency, he has nothing good to say about Money Catch and actually had a few clients who came to him after dealing with Money Catch! Apparently, it took ages to get these people to stop fuming about the way they were treated by the staff.
For tragic reasons that I am about to make clear, I won't provide the name of his company (as much as I personally would like to help him with the positive word of mouth, he's that concerned about the owner of Money Catch as a person and as a dirty player!).
Apparently, the owner of Money Catch actually manages several other websites that claim to be impartial certifiers in the industry, rating other agencies and ranking them against one another based on an obscure set of criteria that is loaded in Money Catch's favor.
I'll provide the link to one of them to make my point abundantly clear;
(http://www.unclaimedmoneyagentslicencecheck.world)
On this website, most EVERY OTHER AGENCY has received zero star rating...except, coincidentally, Money Catch, which has received a whole five stars based on absolutely unverifiable facts! Yes, you have heard it right.
Naturally, imagine what this is doing to other unclaimed money businesses managed by people who DON'T immediately think that killing the competition is the way to succeed! It's actual sabotage and borderline defamation! (I work in Copyright Law, so naturally, I was outraged and gunning for a fight!) But get this; my friend is THAT afraid that Money Catch will go after him and his business that he literally WON'T fight her.

He doesn't have the resources and he has kids to support, so all he can do is suck it up and watch as Money Catch attacks other agencies (legally and illegally) while masquerading behind fake ranking websites owned and operated by the same person who operates Money Catch! The whole thing is a scam and I can't stand it (this is all coming from someone who begged me not to get angry and risk putting him on their radar...so I'll sure as hell do what I can without getting him into trouble.

I am calling on All unclaimed money agents to take to the internet and to tell their story about this predatory unethical business ' Moneycatch'. Let us all start posting as Agents against MoneyCatch adding our initials only- so this shark is exposed.
Money Catch is a dirty business made up of fake reviews (bought and paid for by the owner), fake rankings (made by, bought and edited by the owner) and illegally slandering. What's even worse, is that the fact that Money Catch has set up these rankings sites prevents other legitimate agencies from earning a decent living and it allows her to keep on lying, overcharging her customers and pressuring naive clients so she can keep on ripping them off I think its disgusting that a company has to bully, scam and cheat their way to the top rather than stand on the merits.

To all customers, consumers and persons who are interested in the business operated by Money Catch.

Money Catch has been the subject of a significant amount of trolling during recent times. Such trolling making totally false, unmaintainable and incorrect accusations in relation to the business carried on by Money Catch. The allegations are scurrilous and without any foundation.

Money Catch is a business that has been operating with integrity and impunity since 2006 and in an honest and ethical manner.

Money Catch has been operating since 2006 involved with the recovery of unclaimed money, cyber investigations, scam investigations and skip tracing. Money Catch operates within and adheres to telecommunications (Telemarketing and Research Calls Industry Standards) 2017 and every telephone number is run through the Australian “Do Not Call Register” as required by Law.

When Money Catch locates or ascertains a source of unclaimed money owing to their potential clients, those clients are advised and it is entirely the client’s choice if they wish to use Money Catch’s service or to affect the claim themselves. Should the client elect to affect the claim themselves then they are provided with the necessary information to pursue the claim for their own unclaimed money? The benefit to them of using the Money Catch service is that a professional service can carry out all the inquiries, investigations and provide all necessary information in a more efficient and timely manner.

Money Catch is Australia’s leading unclaimed money professional and accesses information that is not easily or freely available in relation to unclaimed money therefore providing a significant service to the clients who choose to use that service and allowing a greater number of people to acquire unclaimed monies that are owing to them than what other organisations are able to do. The access to additional sources of unclaimed money is only a benefit to clients.

Money Catch does not stalk people and as set out, adheres to Industry Standards including the Telecommunication Standards set out above, ACCC Debt Collection Guide and the “Do Not Call Register”.Full and complete information and disclosure are made by Money Catch as part of the relationship with clients and that is provided before any contract is entered into and the client has an absolutely free choice if they wish to deal with Money Catch or not.

The fees that are charged by Money Catch are applicable to the work performed for the investigation and support and the levels of fees that have been set out by unknown persons who are trolling the website are simply incorrect and will not be maintainable. Money Catch’s fees are disclosed to all prospective clients and customers before any work is performed and again, that client or customer can decline to engage the services of Money Catch.

In accordance with proper procedures and Australian Law, Money Catch is required and does hold a Master CAPI Licence and that Licence requires compliance with Ethics and Standards by all holders and Money Catch does comply with those Standards. Obtaining the Master CAPI Licence requires significant study and also a thorough investigation of the Licence Holder – which cannot reveal any criminal or Police record or any financial dealings that have led to bankruptcy in the past. Money Catch has always passed the statutory inquiries that are made by the Licensing Authorities and continue to hold and operate under the appropriate Licences because they have passed and continue to pass all requirements.

Confirmation of the above matters can be confirmed by inquiry through the appropriate websites and Government Authorities – particularly through the NSW Police or Security Licensing & Enforcement Directorate (SLED).

Money Catch does not know or understand the basis of the totally incorrect and scurrilous allegations that are being made about them. Money Catch can confidently state that they have not received any complaints from customers who are known to them and whom they have dealt with and for whom they have obtained unclaimed money and the authors of the matters that are being trolled and put out through the internet are by persons who remain anonymous and are unable to be corresponded with to be required to state the basis and/or reasons for the incorrect allegations.

Money Catch is also aware that persons involved with the above activities are using photographs of the staff of Money Catch and impersonating Money Catch in their posts and reviews.

All persons that deal with Money Catch should ensure that the source of correspondence only comes from the Money Catch domain name – www.moneycatch.com.au, staff emails with @moneycatch.com.au or that they have spoken personally to the staff at Money Catch.

This statement has been prepared by the Companies Senior Management and Trenches McKenzie Cox Solicitors Lismore.

Here Here! Thank you.

Apparently the owners of said business are both Justice of the Peace.
The first rule of Conduct and Integrity of the NSW Code of Conduct for Justices of the Peace states:
1) A justice of the peace must not engage in dishonest activities or conduct himself or herself in such a way as to bring the the office of justice of the peace into disrepute.

Thank you, this business owner has no respect for her trade, her colleagues and ultimately has no respect for herself. No one with any decency would act like that. so it's evident to us all the type of trash we are dealing with.

We are getting legal advice against her t the moment, as many would be am sure.

Dear Money Catch; You are a Scam, your glowing testimonials are fake and written by YOU, it's false and misleading; in other words illegal.

Here are the Facts;

FACT; you are a scam and there are numerous report of identity theft following consumers using you 'service' (SCAM)

FACT; Contrary to your Lies, you do use offshore casual contractor, your Indian IT contractor who is pictured on your OTHER SCAM website www.cyberspaceinvestigtions.com.au as your fulltime IT staff is the same casual freelancer listed on Upwork a casual offshore hire website; these are the links to his profiles on FREELANCER.COM which is a casual offshore casual contractor hire company here's is his profiles (quick, best get him to remove it quickly, you are scammer!)

https://www.freelancer.com/u/bhawanbaweja
find him here; www.orientaloutsourcing.com
https://plus.google.com/101020240635278127306

FACT; Your use of casual overseas staff, who are based overseas in third world nations outside of the protection of Australian regulators, and you risk many Australian consumers' Personal ID details and financial information without telling them, resulting in identity theft. From your response its evident that you do not care about this massive risk you place your customers in, only care about justifying your behaviour and your criminal conduct. You should be locked up.

FACT; Moneycatch has been caught out with an email written by Ben Mannix of Moneycatch/ AURFS (they use multiple trade names and entities to stay ahead of authorities) here's a screenshot of Moneycatch's scam email;
https://www.scam.com/entry.php?9538-Money-Catch-Unclaimed-Money-419-Scam

FACT; using legal@moneycatch email does not mean you have a legal section tucked in your bedroom where you work you scammer. It simply means you are a crafty Cyber criminal.

FACT; you have developed a number of websites to defame your competitors- these websites are illegal, examples of Authority websites you have created are
unclaimedmoneyagentslicencecheck.world
google it, it's been optimised to Moneycatch's keywords- money catch comes up first in the searches for unclaimedmoneyagentslicencecheck.world

The owner of Moneycatch made up & uses this website – Which is illegal as it is false & misleading; to demote & defame all other unclaimed money agents in Australia. This website is a fraud, stating it is the 'Industry Regulator' ( what a joke!) and even gives a star rating system! Out of 40 unclaimed money agents, the only ONE gets any stars at all!. Can you guess which one gets stars? Money catch's of course; Its the ONLY Unclaimed Money Recovery service that gets ANY stars (and 5 stars at that! All other services are rubbished, defamed and their personal information placed on this scam website for all to see. That just proves that ‘Money Catch’ is 100% a scam.

Money catch ’s owner thinks it is clever to have used the .world domain as a private domain to hide her ownership of unclaimedmoneyagentslicencecheck.world - when the records to the defamatory domain are being subpoenaed for group action. Please share this on social media and with anyone of concern.

Trust pilot are scammers themselves, she is a criminal - what do ya think, she paid them off to remove any customer reviews. the funny thing is only the negative reviews are true. all the positive ones are put up by money catch's weirdo owner. how pathetic is this woman, how desperate and twisted do you have to be to go to that length in order to rip people off.

What a [censored] resolution statement! Complaintsboard gets paid for this, supporting a scam business.

Read the reviews and comments below. These are dangerous people who are only interested in ripping you off.

Atellite55 ( a reviewer of Money Catch) worded it PERFECTLY when the said;
Money catch is a a rip off criminal business, run by a mentally twisted woman. She creates fake reviews full of positive information about their scam business, fake websites to defame her competitors. She rips off people, she thinks she is doing good thing. Giving people their OWN MONEY AND THEN TAKING 20% OF IT CALLING THAT A SERVICE. ITS A SCAM. People are complaining all over the internet and all you say " these comment are by trolls" No one believes her lies. Money catch owner bribes websites in order to get her customers negative reviews off the websites. Money catch will rip you off and steal your ID selling it on the black market. There are numerous report of this. Google Money catch reviews or money catch complaints and look at the bottom of the page the removals notices, look at the URLs this woman gets removed. You can read the articles on the original websites. Then ask yourself can you trust them with the proof that they rip people off and do everything in their power to supress it. Here is a great idea stop doing that dirty work. Get a real JOB you parasite!

https://moneycatch.com.au/unclaimed-money/security-at-money-catch/ Deanna why your location is armed and under surveillance? I'm just curious are you hiding for something? of course, you are, after seeing a lot of hate person in this thread, you better have that. It doesn't matter even your location is armed, wired or whatever. If there is an arrest warrant you can't do anything unless you have an underground escape plan which criminals do for their plan B. I'm sure you have it.
