On april 26th 2023 at 755am I had made a call about the automatic teller telling me I had an issue with my card to call customer service... I called customer service and the guy refused to give me his name... Very rudely demanded for my name... Told me that my card was on a hold due to high volume of purchases made... When told that I had some issues with my kids using the card on google a couple days that shouldnt of been another transaction since yesterday morning for walmart... He proceeded to tell me that someone is trying to use the card right now and that I need to verify from where... I told him I didnt make any transactions since yesterday morning can you please tell me from where... He simply kept talking over me ignoring my request and telling me that I needed to contact the place that is trying to tale the money... I asked again what the place was that is taking my money... He replied in the rudest way possible with "I already said goggle... Contact them... Not me... We dont do any disputes and you. Need. To. Look. Up. The. Number. On. There. Website.." when asked if he could give me the 1 800 number that shows up he stated that that was not his responsibility and continued to talk over me... I then asked to speak to a supervisor because I was done being spoke to like that and him being rude to me... He stated that there isnt a supervisor here to talk to and that vanilla gift card doesn't let anyone speak to the supervisor and that he is the o e I can only talk to... The customer service is very rude and very unprofessional... Vanilla card should be very ashamed as to who they hire... I will never recommend this to anyone... First and last and only time I will ever use vanilla gift card again... Absolutely horrible!
Desired outcome: better customer service representatives... Actually help people when their money is just being taken without permission... I would like a refund of anything taken after 854am from walmart... That stuff was not approved...
