National Boat Covers Pontoon Cover-ripped along seam

We ordered an $800 boat cover, to have it split down the seam after one use. We were told we would be given $75 to repair locally within a 30 day time frame. Since I was unable to find anybody to repair it that soon, and certainly not for $75, I decided to reach back out to National Boat Covers. After multiple failed attempts-emails, chats, phone calls...I was finally able to reach somebody. She was very short, rude, and did not care to spend the time trying to help fix the problem. I was told we could not return nor exchange the cover. I asked if I could send it to them for repair, and the answer was also "no". I then asked to speak with a manager or supervisor and was told that was not an option. Disappointed and unsure how they are promoting 5 stars on their website.

Recommendation: Do NOT purchase from National Boat Covers!

National Boat Covers Terrible product and terrible customer service

Bought a cover/tarp for this company based on a recommendation from a fellow boater. Terrible mistake. First of all, the product advertised as a "cover" is basically a paper-thin, poorly made tarp. The grommets are easily pulled out and the seams rip and tear with minimal force, which is necessary for putting it and tying it down on a boat. Because of the impending weather, I had to go to Harbor Freight and get one of their tarps which was half the price and higher quality. When I inquired about a refund after explaining the situation, I was told no refunds for used covers and I could file a warranty claim, which is useless to me because I have no need for a cover now, especially one with similar poor quality. The customer service rep was very rude, telling me it was my fault and I should have read the return policy before buying. They informed me products can only be returned in "new or re-saleable" condition, which is ridiculous if the product is substandard in the first place. Even with returns, they charge a high restocking fee and you'll have to pay for shipping. Just an overall bad situation. I'm working with the BBB where there are similar poor reviews for this company.

National Boat Covers BUYERS BEWARE!

September 1st. Of this year I purchased a Windstorm Marinex cover for our 2022 Princecraft Vectra 21LT pontoon boat for $699.99 using their manufacturer selector to ensure I would get the proper fit cover. (WSPONBP***B) This 30-year company guarantee's their covers to fit! Well after finally getting the boat home out of the marina for the end of the season we got to install our new cover. Got to say the material and stitching is phenomenal! As you can see in the pics the width was right on. NOW when it comes to length that's another story. We now have 2 -3 feet of extra material on the rear and no idea what we're going to do with it! I reached out to Eevelle customer support, and this is what Customer Support Rep Ana said: You will need to submit a returns request form. You will need a cover two feet shorter. You need to be within the 30-day return /exchange time frame. An 18% restocking fee is added to all returns. Returns beyond the 30-day return window will have an 20% restocking fee. You are also responsible for shipping return fees! WHAT? I have to pay for your manufacturer selector NOT being accurate? You boast you're the " Pattern & Fit Experts "! There's something definitely wrong here. I will never deal with this company again. I put my full trust in their reputation and expertise and came out with a lousy fitting cover for $699.99. FYI, I do have 4 aluminum extendable support poles installed to help with snow load this Winter here in New York. As for the rear of the boat I have no clue what we're going to do. :(

National Boat Covers Disappointing Product and Customer Service from National Boat Covers

I recently made a purchase from National Boat Covers, specifically a bimini top canvas, back in February. However, I didn't get around to using it until May. When I finally went to install the Bimini top, I was disappointed to find that the cover didn't fit properly at all. It was way off from what they had advertised and what I had expected.

I reached out to the company to see if they could help me with this issue, but unfortunately, they informed me that it was past the 30-day return policy and there was nothing they could do to assist me. I was extremely frustrated with this response, as it was not my fault that the product did not fit as advertised.

I would strongly advise against purchasing from this company, as their products do not seem to be of high quality and their customer service leaves much to be desired. It's a shame, as I was really looking forward to using my bimini top canvas, but now I am left with a useless product that I cannot even use. Save yourself the hassle and avoid National Boat Covers at all costs.

I bought a boat cover from National Boat Covers on March 1st, 2019. It was a bit pricey, costing over $300, but the website promised a warranty for all covers, so I thought it was a good deal. However, I regret to say that I had a terrible experience with this company. The material of the cover was very poor, and it ripped within a few months of use. When I contacted National Boat Covers, they refused to honor their warranty and wouldn't even offer me a discount on a new cover. I was very disappointed with their customer service. It's a shame that they don't stand behind their products. I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for a boat cover. The quality is poor, and the warranty is not worth the paper it's printed on. Save your money and buy from a more reputable company.

National Boat Covers National Boat Covers: A Terrible Experience - Don't Waste Your Money

So, I was looking for a cover for my boat and came across National Boat Covers. They had a top that I liked and it was listed as in stock, so I ordered it on July 15th. The website said it would ship the next day, July 16th. But, it's now July 29th and I haven't heard anything from them since they took my money.

I've tried emailing and calling them to get some information about my order, but I haven't heard back from them at all. I've left several voicemails and still no reply. I'm starting to wonder if this is even a real business or if they're just taking people's money and not delivering the products.

I'm really frustrated with this whole situation. I was excited to get my boat cover and now I'm left with nothing. I've even had to dispute the charge with my credit card company because I believe that National Boat Covers is a fraud.

I would not recommend this company to anyone. It's been a terrible experience and I wouldn't want anyone else to go through what I've been through.

National Boat Covers National Boat Covers: False Promises and Poor Customer Service

I was really excited to order a boat cover from National Boat Covers (nationalboatcovers.com) because they said it was in stock and ready to ship in just 2-4 days. But after waiting for 6 days, I decided to call and check on my order. To my disappointment, I was told that the cover was not actually in stock and would take 5 to 7 days to be made.

After reading some of the reviews online, I started to have second thoughts about my purchase. There were just too many negative reviews that made me doubt the quality of their products and their customer service. So, I decided to cancel my order and look for a different company that could provide me with a better product and service.

However, cancelling my order was not as easy as I thought it would be. It has been a week since I cancelled my order and I received an email from National Boat Covers saying that my refund was completed. But when I checked my bank account, there was no activity and I still haven't received my money back.

I feel like I was baited and switched by this company. They promised me a product that was in stock and ready to ship, but in reality, they didn't have it and made me wait for days without any updates. And now, they are not even giving me my money back as promised.

I have lost all respect and dignity for this company. I will definitely spend more money elsewhere, but at least I know that I will get a product that is of good quality and a company that stands by its word.

National Boat Covers National Boat Covers: Don't Trust Their Trailering Claims

I bought a boat cover from National Boat Covers and it was supposed to be good for traveling with my boat. However, it ripped apart after only two hours of towing. I was really disappointed and frustrated because the warranty didn't cover the damage. It doesn't make sense that they advertise it as being good for trailering but won't honor the warranty if it gets damaged while being towed. This company is a joke and I wouldn't recommend buying a cover from them. Just know that if you do, you won't have any warranty if it gets damaged while towing your boat. So, stay away at all costs!

National Boat Covers Disappointing Experience with National Boat Covers: Long Wait Time, Incorrect Item, and Poor Customer Service

My first time ordering from National Boat Covers was not a great experience. I was excited to order a bimini top, frame, and hardware in early August of 2020. I was told that it was a stocked item and would arrive quickly. However, it took three long weeks for me to finally receive my order. To make matters worse, they sent me the wrong item! I was so frustrated because I really hate returning things. I submitted a request for a return and asked them to expedite the correct item that I had originally ordered.

I sent two emails and left two messages over the course of three days, but I never received a courtesy call or any kind of contact from National Boat Covers. It seemed like they didn't care about my order once they had received payment. I was disappointed and frustrated with their lack of communication and customer service.

Now that I know what I know, I wouldn't order from National Boat Covers again. It's a shame because I was really excited about my purchase, but the experience left a bad taste in my mouth. I hope that they can improve their customer service in the future so that others don't have to go through the same frustrating experience that I did.

Overall, I would not recommend National Boat Covers based on my experience. The long wait time, incorrect item, and lack of communication were all major issues that I had to deal with. Hopefully, they can make some changes to improve their service and make things right with their customers.

National Boat Covers Disappointing Experience with National Boat Covers: Poor Communication and Additional Charges

I recently had an experience with National Boat Covers and unfortunately, it was not a good one. I did my research and checked out their reviews on BBB and YouTube, but they were not very positive. Despite this, I decided to give them a chance and placed an order on Amazon. However, things quickly went downhill from there.

Firstly, I am having trouble finding my order on Amazon and have been given the runaround when trying to confirm the shipping date from "Lauren," who is supposedly the manager. It is frustrating to not have any clear communication or updates on my order, especially since they were quick to take my money from my account.

To make matters worse, I had to pay an additional $115 for a correction to my order, as the cover I originally ordered was not the right fit for my cart. While they did make the correction, I have not received any new order or confirmation numbers since the initial time of my order. This is concerning, as I want to make sure that I receive the correct cover in the right color.

Overall, my experience with National Boat Covers has been disappointing. I hope that they can improve their communication and customer service in the future, as it would make the ordering process much smoother for customers like myself.

National Boat Covers National Boat Covers Review: Terrible Fit and Poor Customer Service, Would Not Recommend

I recently had an experience with National Boat Covers and I have to say, it was not a pleasant one. I decided to order an upgrade cover for my boat from their website. I made sure to provide them with the year, make, and model of my boat before placing the order. However, when the cover arrived 12 days later, it didn't fit my boat at all. It was too small and didn't even come close to covering my boat properly.

I immediately contacted National Boat Covers to request a return and refund. It's been 8 days since then and I still haven't received my refund. I even asked if they could send me a new cover that was x2 feet larger on each side to ensure it would fit my boat properly. However, they told me that they didn't have a template for my boat and couldn't make any guarantees about the fit.

I was extremely frustrated and disappointed. If they didn't have a template for my boat, then why did they take my money and send me a cover that clearly wouldn't fit? It's been almost a month now and my money is still tied up with no resolution in sight.

Overall, I would not recommend National Boat Covers to anyone. If they can't even provide a cover that fits properly for a specific boat model, then what's the point of ordering from them? I wouldn't even trust them to provide a cover for a skateboard. Needless to say, I will never be ordering from them again.

National Boat Covers Disappointing Customer Service Experience with National Boat Covers

I recently purchased a new boat cover from National Boat Covers and I have to say, I was a bit disappointed with my experience. The shipping took longer than expected, which was a bit of a bummer. However, once I received the cover, I was excited to install it on my boat. The instructions that came with the cover were a bit confusing, but I was able to figure it out with some trial and error.

Unfortunately, when I was installing the cover, I realized that I was shorted two thumb screws. I immediately reached out to customer service to see if I could purchase the missing screws. To my surprise, they asked me to send them photos of the packaging and the contents of the box. I mean, who takes photos of an item they just bought before opening it? I found this request to be a bit unreasonable, but I complied anyway. After sending the photos, I asked how I could purchase the missing screws. Their response was less than helpful - they simply said they couldn't help me without the photos. I was frustrated and felt like they weren't willing to work with me to resolve the issue.

I understand that mistakes happen, but the lack of customer service was disappointing. I was willing to pay for the missing screws, but they didn't seem interested in helping me. It's a shame because the product itself is great, but the poor customer service really left a bad taste in my mouth. I'll be taking my business elsewhere in the future.
