I was the winning bidder on eBay for a lot of 97 40% silver proof sets for a decent price. However, I only received 24 sets of proofs and 60 uncirculated sets. Most were in bad shape. Counting both types of sets, I only received 84 sets in total. I was missing 13 sets. When I contacted National Rareities no refunds or replacements were ever offered. I was to either lose all the sets (they demanded that I return them) or keep the 84 ones even though I had paid for 97. They were determined to get a price they wanted. Obviously they wanted to try to sell the sets for a higher price, probably relist on eBay. Very immoral business practices! Note, proof sets are more valuable than in circulated sets. I made every to be fair and but they were not.
Claimed loss: 13 sets. Soon to be the complete bid (97 sets) that I won on eBay.
Desired outcome: I want either 13 replacement sets or a partial refund for the sets that were missing. I would also consider buying like 50 sets at reasonable (avg purchase price per set) price too.
