I had a lot of very small items to sell and was not dismissed but taken seriously. The team at PGS Gold & Coin took the time to do a thorough evaluation of each item. They were very patient. Everyone there was friendly and knowledgeable.

In liquidating more than one family estate, I have used PGS Gold & Coin a few times. I have always gotten a fair price for the items I have brought in. The staff is attentive and friendly, and they move through the process quickly. Would definitely use them again. Four stars.

I have been over to PGS in Oak Brook a number of times and always found it to be a relaxed and pleasant process. The staff and the other ladies are friendly and knowledgeable. I think what I like the most, however, is the way they let you know the true value of your items. I collect coins so I know that they are on-point with their appraisal. Nice place.

The two Jills were outstanding! Not only are they knowledgeable they are charming! I took in a small pile of things I found but had no idea about their value. They offered to research and tell me what I have.I would recommend PGS to anyone buying or selling. They are extremely fair and the customer service is beyond compare!If I could give 100 stars I would!

PGS Gold & Coin was great. She taught me a few things about coins and though all of the coins I turned in were only worth their weight in silver and other metals I got what I feel was a fair price on my items. I know a little about coin collecting and was using a pricing book to see if anything I had was valuable but nothing was. I will be making more trip to see PGS Gold & Coin as I go through more coins.

We went to the PGS Gold & Coin location with a coin collection amassed over decades. The Manager, Sarah, and her team member, John, were excellent. They spent hours with us, carefully going through everything. They taught us about the value of the coins, some of which were worth their weight in silver and others that were worth more. We highly recommend them to anyone. I will return to them with other items.

I called this Villa Park location and spoke with Jane about some items that were left to me and I didn't know if they had value. She told me to bring them on in. I did and she explained in detail exactly how she figured what they were worth. Wow was I pleasantly surprised! I was so happy I have returned with more items that they have bought and have told many others to check them out when they have questions about the value of jewelry, coins etc. Jane remembered me by name when I returned and has made me feel like a friend. I will continue to bring my business here and continue to tell my friends this also.

I've patronized both the Chicago and Palatine locations, and while I love both for several reasons, I personally prefer the Chicago one. John and Sarah are always ready to help everyone who walks through the door within moments and greet people with friendly smiles immediately! Most importantly, though, I keep going back to PGS in general (and this location because of the above and beyond service) because I always do my own homework on whatever I'm bringing to sell, know exactly what it's worth, and while they haven't always been able to buy everything I've brought in, they've ALWAYS been honest, straightforward, and clear, but very kind about all the transactions we've either made or declined. They are fully knowledgeable, fair, and have given me advice on how to successfully sell other things I've had and not been able to sell to them. I've gone to jewelry and antique shops and shops dealing specifically with coins, and they've all tried to rip me off in some way. Since I've been going here, PGS NEVER HAS. They're awesome, and I will continue patronizing and recommending them for all these types of needs!
