On 09/12/2023 1 week after faxing a physician's order to the company located in Baltimore Maryland I still had not heard from anyone to set up an appointment. I called 6 times, was put on hold each time from 15-30 minutes each time and no one ever answered. The phone prompts say to leave a voice message and if a message is left before 4p.m. someone will get back in touch before the end of business day. I left the voice message at 1:00p.m. No one called me back. I sent an email and someone did contact me but told me she was in a different department then the one I needed and transferred me back to the number I had been calling all day. The next day,09/13/2023 I began calling at 8:01a.m. and the recording stated all representatives were working with other clients to please hold. I tried to leave a voice message but now the person at extension 6072 is not available. After calling 4 more times someone (Matthew) answered the phone, found the referral I had faxed, took all necessary medical coverage information and told me the person (Lori) I needed to speak to was not in yet but would contact me. As of the end of the day 09/13/2023 I have still not been contacted. I am trying to get an appointment for a 75 y.o.man who is paralyzed on the right side and needs a special wheelchair. This is the most frustrating experience I have ever had with a company that is supposed to help people with disabilities.
Desired outcome: I would like the company to do what they are supposed to do and that is to help people with disabilities
