Neighbor Scam Alert: Sketchy Basement Room for $999.000/month on Neighbor.com

Yo, peeps! Just wanna share my thoughts on Neighbor.com and this shady offer from "Phil Y" of Mountain huh View. So, this dude just joined the platform last March 2022 and is offering a 10x10 basement-looking room that looks straight outta a commercial building. Like, I kid you not, there's pipes and s*** all over the place. Makes me wonder if this guy's got extra appliances lurking upstairs or something.

Apparently, you can rent this sketchy space indefinitely for a whopping $999.000 a month, and you can only access it once a month (at most). But wait, there's more! For just $1,069.80 (including a service fee and protection plan), you can be the lucky scam victim who falls for this almost non-existent "deal of the century". Yeah, right.

Now, I didn't rent this space (duh), so I don't have any proof of purchase. But I just wanna warn y'all about these clowns on Neighbor.com. Like, seriously, be careful out there.

But hey, who knows? Maybe this "Phil Y" is actually legit. Stranger things have happened, am I right? But personally, I ain't risking my hard-earned cash on a sketchy basement room with some dude who just joined the platform. You do you, though.

Neighbor Neighbor.com is a Total Scam - Don't Waste Your Time or Money!

Hey y'all, I want to talk to you about Neighbor.com. Honestly, I gotta be real with you, I wouldn't even give them a single star. Recently, I was on the hunt for a two car garage space in beautiful Rio Rancho, NM. I stumbled upon an ad for a space owned by a guy named Jerry T. I shot him a message, but I never heard back from him, even though they said he typically responds within three hours. To make matters worse, their customer service agents were calling me from an overseas call center that was so loud I could barely hear them. They were hounding me to give them my credit card or bank card numbers. Oh man, I knew something fishy was going on, so I didn't give them any of my personal or banking info.

Fast forward a few days and I got called back to back by a lady from their call center three times in a row. Talk about persistence, right? Needless to say, I swiftly blocked all their numbers, emails, all that jazz. I hate to say it, but it's a total scam, guys. They use fake photos of garage and parking spaces and waste your precious time and money. I'm telling y'all, don't bother with Neighbor.com. Save yourself the headache and money.

Neighbor Beware of sketchy neighbor.com: Credit card required for garage info!

This website called Neighbor (neighbor.com) seems off to me. It's giving me that sketchy vibe that I can't shake off. For starters, they're asking for a credit card just to contact the owner about the garage. And wait for this, the owner needs to approve a "reservation" before we can talk to them! After all that, they go ahead and charge the credit card. That's a lot of hoops to jump through just to ask where the garage is! When I finally got to contact the "owner", they ended up not controlling the space and tried to switch me to a covered space. And guess what, Neighbor charged me for the first month's rent before I even got the space!

I tried calling the credit card's customer service line, but the 801-number doesn't seem to work! What kind of service is this? In frustration, I even emailed support and didn't receive any response at all. Even though the "owner" is still advertising the garage as available. It doesn't seem like a legitimate service to me.

To make things worse, another "owner" tried to limit the times I could use the garage. I could only use the space for four hours a day during weekdays with advance notice. What kind of nonsense is that? And just as I started to write this review, they went ahead and charged me for something else without my approval. This is a total waste of time! And getting a refund is apparently a hassle if not impossible to get. Avoid this website like the plague!

Neighbor Mixed Rental Experience with Neighbor.com: Communication Restrictions and Lack of Protections

I've been using neighbor.com for a little over a year now. It's been a mixed experience with both good and bad renters. Overall, it's nothing more than using Craigslist for free. The company touts its "protections" for users, but in my experience, they're next to non-existent. One of the main issues I've had with neighbor.com is their strict communication policy. They limit the exchange of contact information between owners and prospective renters, even blocking phone numbers and blanking certain text in messages sent through their platform. I understand that they want to collect payment through their app, but this restriction stifles business by choking communication between owners and renters, making it challenging to arrange viewings and negotiate rental amounts.

Recently, I've received some creepy messages from neighbor.com, accusing me of bypassing the app's policies when I was doing no such thing. These incidents have left me with little trust in the company, and I find myself much happier with other rental alternatives. If neighbor.com wants to succeed as a company, they need to establish trust with their users. They should develop a more inviting platform. Users will flock to an app they can trust. For the time being, I'd recommend using Craigslist.

Neighbor Neighbor App Review: Lost My Earnings Due to Payment Issue and Poor Customer Support

I signed up for Neighbor a couple of months ago and I was pretty excited to have my spaces rented out. The process of registering was smooth, and I used my passport ID to get manually approved by the specialist they sent me. I was all set to list my space and get paid without having to provide my SSN. However, the excitement I felt was short-lived as Stripe, one of their payment gateways, asked for my SSN, which I didn't have at the time. This meant that they weren't able to process my payment, even though my spaces were fully reserved for at least two months.

I sent them emails (both Neighbor and Stripe) about how to fix the situation. Unfortunately, they ignored my emails for an entire week, and to make it worse, they silently removed all my listings and payment history, which means that I can't get paid, and all my earnings are gone. It's quite frustrating to put in so much effort and then lose everything so quickly, just because of a tiny issue.

One of the things that stood out for me when I first signed up was the fact that they were super active and friendly to urge me into providing my information to sign up. They would text and call me endlessly, but now that I have a small problem, they ignore me. It's sad that they stole my earnings, and I think it's quite disgusting that they would do that.

I'm not sure if this is fraud or not, but it sure feels like it. I would never recommend this app to anyone. The process of losing my earnings was frustrating, and I don't want anyone else to go through it. If you're reading this and you're a lawyer, could you please advise me on the way forward? I would appreciate it.

Neighbor My Frustrating Experience with Neighbor.com: Delays, Poor Customer Service, and No Refunds

I wanted to share my personal experience with neighbor.com, in case it could serve as a warning for anyone else considering using their service. The concept of renting out garage space for storage is really interesting, and I was excited to find someone near me that had a good location and price for the space. However, I quickly discovered that the hassles of using neighbor.com outweighed any potential savings.

After being approved to use the space, I posted a start date for May 24th and received an email from neighbor.com saying that the host would be contacting me soon. Despite this, I never heard from the host. I wound up having to contact him myself to inquire about when I could view the space, and even then, it took several more emails to finally set up a meeting. In the end, I was not able to see the space until May 31st--two weeks after my approval and one week after my start date.

This delay was especially frustrating because the host eventually revealed that he worked from home and had been available the entire time to show me the space. Clearly, he chose to ignore my messages for two weeks, which made me feel like he didn't value my business. This experience led me to decide not to use the space after all, and I requested a refund of my initial payment. Unfortunately, I was told that refunds are only allowed within one day after your start date, even though I had not been able to actually access the space due to the host's delays.

Overall, my experience with neighbor.com was not a positive one, and I'm currently stuck in a battle with them through my bank to try and resolve the issue. While I do think that this particular host was at fault for ignoring my messages, I also feel like neighbor.com should take more responsibility for helping to mediate these kinds of situations. In my opinion, dealing with neighbor.com has only compounded the existing frustrations with the host, and I wouldn't recommend using their service unless you're willing to put up with a lot of potential headaches.

All in all, I think that there are both good and bad neighbors (and neighbor.coms) out there, and it's important to do your research and read reviews carefully before committing to any kind of rental arrangement. While the concept of neighbor.com is certainly interesting, my personal experience has taught me that the platform can be quite flawed and may not be worth the hassle.

Neighbor Neighbor.com review: My Car Was Stolen From a Host's Parking Lot!

So, let me tell you about Neighbor.com, the experience I had with the platform was not the best, to say the least.

I had parked my car at a parking lot that I was paying for six months from September until February in Los Angeles. Upon returning from my overseas trip in February, I went to pick up my car from the location, only to realize that my car was not there! The host was not responsive to my messages, and then I contacted the Neighbor support team, but they were not very helpful either.

I had to go to the police and claim my car as stolen since there was no way that it could have disappeared without being stolen. Two weeks after reporting my car missing, a Riverside police officer called me to ask me to go to the police tow yard in Riverside to pick up my car. It was towed from the parking lot where my car was parked, and the tow company ended up keeping it in the tow yard with the intention of auctioning it off as junk.

When I picked up my car, it was in poor condition, with dents, scratches, and worn-out tires, not to mention the disgusting state of the interior. I spent a lot of time and money to make the car drivable again. To add salt to the wound, I had to work with my insurance for several months to get compensated for what happened, and sadly, my car was totaled, which caused my premium to go up. To my dismay, some of the damages were not covered.

On the bright side, the Neighbor.com support representative I dealt with was quite helpful--though it took some time--and I managed to get a full refund for the storage. However, when I tried to leave a negative review for the host, they suppressed my review, and it's been over two weeks since I published it, and it's still "under review."

In conclusion, I advise those considering using Neighbor.com to be careful because the platform does not conduct background checks on hosts. As a result, it would be effortless to find oneself in a situation like the one I had to deal with.

If I had known the amount of trouble and damage that would have resulted from my experience with Neighbor.com, I never would have gotten near the platform.

Neighbor Unsafe and Negligent: My Disaster Experience with Neighbor Storage

I gotta say, Neighbor is NOT the way to go if you're looking for a safe and secure storage space. Let me tell you about my experience: I rented a spot for my car over three months ago and thought everything was hunky-dory until a few days ago when the host messaged me saying that someone had entered my car, claiming to know me and that it was okay. What the heck?! This was news to me, but the host didn't believe the intruder and couldn't call the cops since he wasn't the owner of the vehicle. Why didn't he call me to confirm whether I knew this person or not? I only found out about this the next day, when I went to check on my vehicle and found that it had been broken into and taken over by a homeless person who had left all sorts of junk and stains and cigarette smells all over the place. I mean, there were suitcases and booze bottles and who-knows-what-else strewn about in there. And it wasn't just my car - the whole area was crawling with homeless people who had set up camp and were busy cleaning and posting up all sorts of stuff. It was like a homeless colony or something. When I called the host to complain, he acted like it was no big deal and said he hadn't noticed anything. What a load of bull! This guy has clearly been taking payment from multiple cars without providing any security or surveillance. And now my car is ruined, thanks to his negligence.

I can't even get in touch with Neighbor until Monday to figure out what my rights and protections are or if I can get any kind of recourse for this BS. And apparently I'm not the only one who's been screwed over by this. I spoke to another homeless person who said he was cleaning the area to "help out" - what does that even mean? Are these people being welcomed for their "cleaning service"? What kind of sketchy operation is this?!

Look, I get that renting a parking space from a stranger is always going to be a bit risky. But this is ridiculous. I don't feel safe leaving my car there anymore, and I certainly don't feel like I can trust Neighbor or any of their hosts. It's just not worth it. Do yourself a favor and find a more reliable storage solution.

Neighbor Neighbor.com Review: Be Wary of Hidden Fees and Hassle When Canceling Reservations

I was in need of a parking space for my trusty truck for just one week and found Neighbor (neighbor.com) as a potential option. Unfortunately, they only work on a per-month basis, but I decided to just go for it and pay for the whole month. Luckily, they had a promotion where the first month is half price if you rent for two months. I didn't want two months, but it seems like they automatically apply it.

I ended up being charged $62.16, which is $50 for half a month and then their service fee. I used the spot from April 17th until April 24th, which was shorter than the original month that I paid for. However, if you decide to cancel your reservation, be prepared for a hassle. They ask a lot of questions before you can cancel, and none of the options are very positive. I just wanted to suspend my reservation for a month, but the only options available were to cancel because the space wasn't good or the renter didn't provide a good service.

After canceling, they charged me another $62.16. I asked for a refund of the difference between the original price ($100 in rent and $14.95 in fees) and the total charge of $124.32. However, they told me that they can't issue a refund because I rented the space for part of May as well. It's frustrating, and it feels like a scam. They just hide behind "company policy" instead of listening to their customers.

Honestly, Neighbor's policy is like a gym membership where they hope you'll forget to cancel and continue charging you even if you're not using the service. Because of this experience, I won't be using their service again, and I want to warn others to think twice before trying it out and possibly getting stuck with more fees than necessary.

Update: After the renter confirmed that I moved my truck out on April 24th, they decided to refund 50% of the second charge. However, their refund policy has a minimum amount of $10, and since my refund was less than that, they refunded $31. It's still annoying, but at least they made some effort to fix the situation.

Neighbor Beware of Misleading Information on Neighbor.com: My Experience with a Scammy On-Site Host

I recently used Neighbor.com to find a storage rental place for my oversize vehicle, and unfortunately, my experience was not a good one. I ended up being ripped off of $140 of my last month's rent due to the misleading information provided to me by Neighbor.com.

The on-site host, who I thought was representative of Neighbor.com, told me to cancel my payment of $86.72 made on Neighbor.com and pay him and the storage rental owner directly with cash. This was a big mistake, as I found out later that I was supposed to make my monthly payment via Neighbor.com to get insurance for my stored property.

This piece of misleading information given to me caused my trust in two untrustworthy people, one of whom appeared to represent Neighbor.com. As a result, I got ripped off of $140 in cash. To make matters worse, the storage owner made me wait five hours before allowing me to get my vehicle off his lot, even though Neighbor.com advertised 24/7 access.

I barely managed to retrieve my vehicle, as a bunch of other vehicles blocked it, the gate was locked, and a bulldog was running loose on the lot. Neighbor.com refused to take any responsibility for this whole situation, even though their on-site host screwed me over.

I'm still waiting for my $86.72 refund from Neighbor.com, and it's not clear when I will receive it. Renters, beware of this kind of situation, where the on-site host can easily take advantage of you. However, with Neighbor.com's misleading information, it is even harder to trust anyone you encounter on their platform.

If you want to use this service, be sure everything promised is in writing before paying any money. In my case, because of my brain injury, PTSD, and being a widow, I got duped because of not having everything in writing properly.

Regarding Neighbor.com, they could have done more to help me, such as reimbursing me for the funds I lost. After all, it was their on-site host who misled me, and it definitely gave me a false sense of security with doing business with storage owners found on Neighbor.com.

Also, they should make it loud and clear that THEIR on-site host does not work for them, and they are not responsible for the actions of the on-site host or storage owners on their platform.

Although I reported the scammy behavior, I still feel like I was not thanked or appreciated by Neighbor.com for helping them stop their on-site host from stealing customers. They did refund my payment, but what about the $140 I lost? I'm still waiting for that money back.

In conclusion, if you choose to use Neighbor.com, beware of misleading information and don't trust anyone unless you have everything in writing. Remember, the on-site host doesn't work for Neighbor.com, so they are not responsible for anything they do. I hope my experience will help other renters avoid these issues.

Neighbor Stay Away from Neighbor: A Review of Their Scammy Practices and Confusing Website

So, where do I start with Neighbor? This website is just a big old mess, and I wouldn't recommend anyone to use it. They sure know how to confuse their customers and scam them out of their money. I mean, their wording is so obscure that I had trouble understanding what they were trying to say. And when I tried to call them for help, their customer service phone numbers were false or invalid. What kind of company does that?

And don't even get me started on their cancelation procedures. It's so complicated that it feels like they don't want you to cancel. They just want you to keep paying and paying. And, if you decide that you no longer want to use their service, they'll hit you with hidden fees. Yup, you heard that right. Hidden fees. What a scam!

To make matters worse, they charged both myself and the homeowner twice. We thought maybe it was just a mistake, but nope. They did it on purpose. And then, on top of that, they added fees because we didn't keep the spot the next month. Can you believe that?

So, if you want to avoid all of this mess and frustration, stay away from Neighbor. It's not worth it, no matter how good their initial offers may seem. Trust me, you'll regret it in the end.

Neighbor Warning: Never Rent from Neighbor - Worst Experience Ever!

This company, Neighbor, is like, totally the worst thing that ever happened to me. They took my full month's rent for a garage that I rented from them but then they didn't give me access to it - what the actual heck?! And then, when I asked for my money back, they were like, "nah, we don't do refunds." So I was like, "um, excuse me?!" But they just ignored me and didn't give me my money back. And then, to make matters even worse, they charged me for another month's rent like, only two weeks later! That's not even possible, right? It's like they're trying to scam me or something.

Anyway, I'm like really mad about the whole thing and I just want to warn all you guys out there to like, never rent from Neighbor. Seriously, they have an average of one star on all the reviews - that's gotta tell you something, right? So yeah, just avoid them at all costs if you don't want to get ripped off.

Neighbor Unsecured Storage and Poor Customer Service: My Experience with Neighbor.com

I recently used Neighbor.com for storage and I have to say, I wasn't impressed. When I signed up for their services, they told me that the site had a locked gate. However, upon arriving at the storage location, there was no gate to be found. This means that anyone walking or driving by can easily access the units, which is a major security concern.

After realizing that the storage unit was not secure, I decided to cancel my reservation. Unfortunately, despite not even moving in or using the space, Neighbor.com refused to give me my money back. I was really disappointed in this lack of customer service and it made me feel like they don't care about their clients.

Overall, I recommend looking for a different storage company, one that actually cares about the safety and security of their customers. Neighbor.com may be convenient, but it's definitely not worth the risk of having your belongings stolen or damaged. Save yourself the hassle and find a more reliable storage option.

Neighbor Mixed Experience with Neighbor.com Customer Support: Long Wait, but Efficient Resolution

So, I had some trouble with my Neighbor.com account the other day. I couldn't seem to find any way to get in touch with their customer service team - no email address, no phone number, nothing. It was super frustrating, to say the least.

After a bit of digging around online, I managed to track down a phone number for them. I called up and spoke to a lady who seemed nice enough, but unfortunately she wasn't able to help me with my problem. She told me that my issue would need to be referred to their Escalation Department, but she couldn't give me a timeframe for when I might hear back from them.

I was feeling pretty annoyed at this point, but just as I was about to hang up, the lady on the phone said that she'd managed to sort out my payment issue after all! I was surprised, but also relieved and grateful that she'd been able to help me out.

Overall, I would say that my experience with Neighbor.com was a bit of a mixed bag. On the one hand, it was frustrating not being able to easily reach out to their customer service team. But on the other hand, once I did manage to get through to someone, my issue was resolved quickly and efficiently.

So, if you're thinking of using Neighbor.com, just be aware that you might have trouble getting in touch with them if you run into any problems. However, if you do manage to reach them, they seem to be pretty good at sorting out any issues you might have.

Neighbor Terrible Experience with Neighbor: Scammed and Charged for Returned Rental

My experience with Neighbor was not good at all. The problems started with someone trying to cheat me, and they managed to scam me into renting a parking spot that wasn't even theirs! Despite this, Neighbor still charged me for the rental, and it was a very long and difficult process to get in touch with them to try to resolve the issue. Even when I finally managed to speak with someone, it seemed like they didn't care about my situation and just said they would look into it - but I never heard back from them.

After this experience, I was understandably hesitant to use Neighbor again. However, I still needed a parking spot, so I decided to give them another chance. This time, I made extra sure that I was renting from someone who actually owned the space. Fortunately, the new rental was a good one - the space was clean and easily accessible, which was exactly what I needed.

However, when the month was up and I returned the parking spot, I was shocked to discover that Neighbor had once again charged me for the rental! I was extremely frustrated and angry, and it seemed like there was no easy way to get this problem resolved.

Overall, I would have to say that my experience with Neighbor was terrible. Not only did I get scammed the first time, but they also charged me for a rental that I had clearly returned. I would not recommend using this service, as it seems very difficult to get any sort of support or help when something goes wrong - which, unfortunately, seems to happen a lot.

Neighbor Stay Away from Neighbor.com - App Supports Hosts' Scamming Activities

I had a pretty bad experience with Neighbor.com. My host, Robert Ward, demanded that I hand over my car keys to him and he ended up using my credit card for several months. He even cranked up 2000 miles on my car and got himself unlimited toll tickets. Once he was done with it, he blocked me and I was pretty much left stranded.

I complained to the app about the incident but they didn't take any responsibility for it. What made it worse was that Ronald, another host on Neighbor.com, was still active on the app despite my report about Robert's scamming activity. It seems like there are other hosts on the app too, just like Robert, who are out there to scam people without any real consequences.

Even though Robert was a verified host and app himself, he denied any wrongdoing and even told the app that he never drove my car even though he clearly had the keys to it. It's crazy that the app actually took his side in this whole thing.

Honestly, I would stay away from Neighbor.com altogether. It's just not worth the risk. You never know when a host might scam you and leave you in a difficult situation. I'm hoping that the court system will make things right for me at this point. But for now, I would definitely recommend that you keep your belongings and yourself safe by steering clear of this terrible app.

Neighbor Struggling to Change Payment Options on Neighbor.com: A Review of Poor Customer Service

So, I've been trying to change up my payment option on neighbor.com and it has been a real struggle. The website said that my changes went through, but it doesn't show up on my payment profile. Like, what's the deal fam? It's just been a complete mess trying to sort it out.

I went digging around trying to find a phone number to reach out to a "Customer Specialist". It took me 20 minutes to even get through and guess what? Nobody even answered. Like, come on now neighbor.com, get it together.

But, I did manage to request a call back and I'm hoping I hear back. If they finally get back to me and the changes are successfully made, then I'd definitely let you all know. But for now, ya'll should be careful and not expect too much from neighbor.com's customer service if something does end up going wrong.

Neighbor Neighbor Review: Renting Storage from Unbonded People Can Lead to Trouble

I gotta say, I have had quite the experience with Neighbor (neighbor.com). Now, don't get me wrong, I appreciate the concept of renting storage space from someone nearby instead of some big ol' corporation. However, my personal experience leads me to say that renting from unbonded people can lead to trouble, even with a company that's supposed to be moderating things.

So here's the dealio, folks. I rented some storage space from a person on Neighbor, we'll call them Bob, and paid for a few months of it. All seemed well and good at the time, but as life goes on, I no longer needed the space. So I contacted Bob to end the rental agreement and made sure to also inform Neighbor to make sure everything was on the up and up. But imagine my surprise when I found out that Bob had continued to take my money for THREE MORE MONTHS after I moved out! Can you imagine? I was pretty peeved, to say the least.

Now, when I tried to get my money refunded, the company initially gave me some pushback. But I wasn't about to let the issue slide, so I kept pressing them until they finally caved and gave me back just one month's worth of payment. I mean, come on, that's not even enough to cover the egregious mistake that they let slide for so long.

Bottom line, my friends? Go with a bonded situation. Don't risk your cash on some pedestrian who can just take it and run. And you know what really threw me for a loop? When the person I spoke to at Neighbor told me they couldn't pay me back the full amount because they were worried about how Bob would feel about it. Seriously? Stick with the person who just took my money and won't give it back? No thank you, sir.

In conclusion, I'm not saying don't use Neighbor at all. But just be aware that if you're renting from a private person, there's always the potential for issues to arise. And in my case, it did, big time. Toodles, folks!

Neighbor WARNING: My Negative Experience with Neighbor.com - Beware and Avoid at All Costs

I was searching online for a place to keep my work van while it was being fixed, and I came across Neighbor.com. I decided to give it a try and made a payment for a month of storage. I dropped off my van and felt relieved that it was in a safe and secure location.

However, just after 4 days of the reservation, my van was towed away by the host without any proper justification or notification. It was a complete surprise and I was devastated by the sudden occurrence. I found out that my van was impounded in a tow yard, accumulating unnecessarily high fees for the entire month while it was supposed to be safely stored. I was in shock when I calculated that this mishap cost me over $1000 dollars.

Me and my team tried contacting the host and Neighbor, but there was no response. I was extremely frustrated and felt like I had been robbed of my hard-earned money. They refused to take responsibility for their actions and failed to respond to any of my calls or emails. It was like talking to a wall and getting no response.

I finally had to take matters into my own hands and file a lawsuit in small claims court to claim the breach of contract agreement with Neighbor. It's been a frustrating process, but I am hoping to get the compensation that I rightfully deserve.

I wish I had never used Neighbor.com and gotten my storage elsewhere. Their negligence has caused me financial and emotional stress, and I don't want anyone else to go through what I did. Be aware and cautious when using Neighbor.com, and don't make my mistake!

Neighbor Neighbor App Review: Good Idea, Terrible Experience - Beware of Scammers!

So, I tried Neighbor and here's what happened: there were some bad apples on there trying to scam people. Unfortunately, I got caught in the middle of it when the parking spot I reserved through the app had my car towed away! And not just for a few days - I've been without my car for over 6 weeks now! To make matters worse, the tow bill is up to $7,000 and my loan company is threatening to take my car away because of it.

Now, I'm not trying to be dramatic, but managing this whole mess has turned into a part-time job. I'm constantly bouncing back and forth between calls with Neighbor, the host who rented out the parking spot, the tow company, the police, and the loan company. It's insane.

But honestly, the worst part of it all is that Neighbor has taken zero responsibility for what's happened. They're leaving it up to me to sort everything out, with no support or assistance whatsoever. It's caused me so much stress and frustration, I can hardly even describe it.

So, for those of you considering using Neighbor - please, please be careful. There's no guarantee that everything will go smoothly, and if it doesn't, you could end up in the same boat as me. Trust me, the money you think you're saving isn't worth the headache.
