I submitted my income driven application the first of September 23. I have since received multiple statements at least 30 different documents of no payment due to forebearance. On Saturday received letter stated they needed my income driven plan that was already submitted. I have called multiple times on hold for 3 hours in hopes of getting a confirmed response on my account. Now I’m confused and stressed don’t want to go into delinquent status because we are in November now not knowing payment and if I can afford the balance due. I have sent an email as well and no response.
I would prefer this gets resolved before there is a delinquency on my account. I’m very anal when it comes to my credit score. Why is it that customer service not responsive and not prepared when they knew payment were going to reconvene in November.
Desired outcome: A valid confirmation on account of what I owe and processing of my IDR the first time and me not having to resubmit documents multiple times. I have submitted via government site and via Nelnet.
ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE! WORST Experience ever. should be called NON-CUSTOMER SERVICE. 3 HOURS ON HOLD NO ONE HAS ANSWERED THE PHONE.
At this point there should be nonpayment if you can’t do your jobs.
Desired outcome: To have customer service answer phone to help its clients. 3 Hours LITERALLY on hold in hopes to get account resolved. NO response or acknowledgment
I am so upset with Nelnet! They dropped my credit score by 127 points, and it was all their fault. I have tried to contact them multiple times to ask about my repayment plan, and they mishandled my loan, and now I am the one paying the consequences. Can someone please let me know if I can contact someone to file a complaint and so that my credit score can get fixed. I am so upset that they have not been able to fix this issue. I have emailed them, called them, and have tried multiple times to contact them.
