I have smoked Newports for about ten years but in the last few months the filters now will start melting and burning all the time. This never would happen even if I forgot a cigarette it would go out now the whole thing will burn away and even the filter will start melting. Even if I'm holding it and distracted I'll look at my cigarette and the filter is melting causing a very hot cherry that will melt anything it touches. This happens almost daily now when in the last decade of smoking I can't remember doing that once
Desired outcome: Tell us what has changed with the filter in the last year and change it back
I have been smoking Newport for about 5 years, I switched from Marlboro when I started smoking 100s. I've never had any issues until now. I bought a couple packs that came in the soft packs because they were $1.20 cheaper and they are the stailest cigarettes I've ever encountered. Horrible I asked the store to refund them after I smoked half of a cigarette because they are so bad but they told me no.
