I would like newspaper archive to credit back to my account 71.88 because even though a total year amount is 71.88, i was still only expected to be debited 5.99 a month every month for a total of a year. I cannot afford this transaction. When i logged into the Newspaper Archive website to gain your company phone number i seem to notice you had not one newspaper i was familiar with. I think you misslead people into thinking this webside it the answer to all but it is not easy to navigate.
Sorry for this inconvienince, Please honor my wishes as a customer and please debit my account 71.88 ASAP.

Thank You, Brandy

I signed up for this service two years ago in 2017. I tried to use it and had problems getting in. Once in, it was no where near the extensive coverage they claimed it would be. Not realizing that they were going to automatically renew my membership after a year and bill me for it, I missed it on my credit card bill but caught it this year. I called and asked for it to be removed. They refused saying that I didn't respond to the email to cancel renewal that they sent. They never sent one. I haven't used the service since the first time two years ago and have been billed ever since. I've reported them to the State Attorney General's office and to my credit card company. I have no intention of paying for this service yet again, 2 years later. Don't use them. They are a scam with NO customer service and the product is very much LACKING. They've made more than enough money at my expense.

I had been a customer of this company for years, when I discovered a couple months ago how high their fees have become. $69.95 per QUARTER. I used to pay $80 per YEAR. I sent an email at least two months ahead of my renewal date saying I wanted to CANCEL. I was ignored. So I sent another email with the same request, and the admonition not to try to charge my debit card. Again, ignored. Then on July 23, 2017, then charged my debit card $69.95. For the third time, I complained and demanded the charge be reversed. FINALLY I got a response, saying my account was canceled but not until October. In other words, they keep the money they charged without my authorization. When I twice notified them to CANCEL, I withdrew my permission to charge my account.

This group has an "F" rating from the Better Business Bureau. Sleazy. It's too bad, since I did like the service. But not at the obscene pricing they have put in place. I would avoid Newspaper Archive.com at all cost. I have filed a BBB complaint, but am not holding my breath for a resolution. Just disgusting.

The company ignored repeated requests from the Better Business Bureau for a response and a resolution. I was told by the BBB that they typically ignore consumer complaints. To make it even worse, they have blocked my access to the site and its contents. Even though they TOOK my money and refused to issue a refund. My membership should be active until November. Avoid this company like the plague. They are thieves, pure and simple.
