I ordered a jersey Oct 8 2023, here we are a month later and I'm still waiting. You might be wondering if I received an email letting me know that it was running late, well the answer is no. I contacted customer service, well I should have just stood in front of the mirror because NOTHING was resolved. I mean they did say they were sorry, think a refund on shipping would have been better. Then they said the item would ship on Nov 8th...let me remind you again that today is November 8th, so I go online and check on the item...surprise surprise, it's still processing. This was a birthday present... I don't even want anything anymore! Terrible! This whole experience has been terrible! Oh I would add photos of the item...BUT I have yet yo receive it!

False Shipping Dates and Empty Apologies: My Frustrating Experience with NFL Shop
I bought a custom Nike Vapor Elite jersey from NFL Shop on 01/03/2023. The estimated shipping date was 01/20/2023. But, guess what? That shipping date came and went without my order status ever being updated from "Processing". I was getting pretty frustrated, so I called Customer Service on 02/03/2023, which was exactly one month after I placed my order. I spoke with a representative and, as expected, they apologized for the inconvenience and said they understood how frustrating this delay could be. They told me there was a delay with the warehouse and gave me a new shipping date of 02/16/2023 with an estimated delivery date of "no later than 02/27/2023". They also emailed me a coupon for a percentage off my next order. But, I told them I wouldn't even consider ordering a second item until I received the first item I paid for a month earlier.
Now, here I am writing this review because 02/16/2023 has come and gone and I never received notice of my item being shipped. I called Customer Service again today, 02/17/2023, and was met with the same showering of apologies for this inconvenience spiel. Again, it's a warehouse delay and I'll be getting an email with my new shipping date. They offered a partial refund, which I accepted. I will not be canceling my order, all I want is my jersey. Instead, I'm met with shipping date after shipping date, which essentially are blatant lies, as I was told there is no ETA on a solution to my item's warehouse delay.
I'll just keep being given false shipping dates simply to placate me and provided scripted sympathies followed by pitied reimbursements for my troubles. I guarantee if there is a response to this review, it will be much of the same from their scripted middle-men hired, not to solve your problems, but to offer empty apologies and show their sympathy through coupon codes and partial refunds.
After nearly two months of waiting (certainly expecting it to continue into 3-4 months at the very least), my money having been taken, and without anything to show for it, please, don't tell me you're sorry for the inconvenience or how you understand my frustration. Just send me my order. The funny thing is, if there is any humor to be found amidst this insanity, they are STILL accepting orders on this very same item for which they know is experiencing a drastic warehouse delay! I guess if they pulled items experiencing delays from future order availability, they wouldn't have anything left to sell.

I decided to call customer service on November 14th, but to my surprise, they told me my order had been cancelled with no explanation.

He couldn't offer me an explanation for the cancellation, but he could offer me a reorder of the same item over the phone. Unfortunately, I was no longer able to use my discounts, making the new final cost slightly more expensive. I agreed, and all seemed well. I received my confirmation email and was charged $139, which was over my agreed-upon cost. I called customer service again, but the representative was unhelpful, and eventually got an attitude with me, prompting me to hang up.
Feeling quite frustrated, I called customer service yet again and was connected with a representative named Destiny. She was a little more helpful, but her phone connection was filled with so much static, making it difficult to communicate effectively. After waiting on hold for 27 minutes, I finally received an answer. To my surprise, NFL Shop had put a dispute on my account and wanted me to dispute the charges with my bank. This would take 7 to 10 days to resolve, and it would take NFL Shop over 45 days to unlock my account so I could make an order again. NFL Shop claimed to have never authorized the second order, but they charged me anyway!
Overall, I was disappointed with the experience. Though I am an avid football fan, I may never shop at NFL Shop again. It’s a shame that a once-respected company has fallen so far, and their customer service department is nothing short of a joke. I have made countless attempts to contact the company, from using their chat feature to phoning their customer service line, but to no avail. Though I have been promised call-backs and expediting shipping free of charge, nothing has come to fruition. I was even promised a phone call from corporate to discuss the issue and listen to a recorded conversation with a customer service representative. However, that call never came. It is extremely disappointing to deal with such a lack of communication and follow-through.
What makes this even worse is that every other company in America is doing their utmost to ensure customers receive their orders before Christmas. NFL Shop, however, seems to be lagging behind. I am deeply disappointed that it seems that my son will not receive his present for Christmas, particularly as we have ordered custom jerseys before that have been created in less than 10 minutes. We spent $125 on this and it has already been charged to my credit card, which only adds insult to injury.

Adrienne, the representative I spoke to, gave me a 5% discount to make up for the failed email offer and attempted to upgrade my shipping to Saturday delivery in case the jersey did not ship on Friday. However, she could not guarantee me that either would happen.
Finally, on Monday the 8th, I received an email saying my item had shipped and would be delivered the next day. Alas, this was not before the Superbowl as I had hoped. We then got involved in the call, and it was implied that I was drunk and told to "have another drink and walk back across 8 mile Eminem." The harassment and insults continued, even as my wife spoke to the supervisor, who tried to help but was continually interrupted by the previous agent. During the conversation, my wife heard the words "this recording has been deleted" twice, which was deeply disconcerting. The supervisor then gave my wife a website to visit to help resolve the issue, but as she went through the verification process, she was confronted with inappropriate and sexually explicit images, which was incredibly disturbing and inappropriate.
To make matters worse, after the call ended, the agent continued to call back four times, which we perceived as harassment. We were so disturbed and upset by the treatment we had received that we had to resort to telling them that we would call the police.
The behavior we experienced from the agents at NFL Shop (nflshop.com) was appalling and beyond unprofessional. We are left with a feeling of disgust and disappointment that such a well-known company could treat their customers in such a disrespectful and degrading manner. My experience with NFL Shop and its affiliates was nothing short of a nightmare. I had ordered six items, but all six had problems, and for over a month I was on the phone with customer service trying to figure out what went wrong with my orders. Initially, I had an order from NFL Shop that was supposed to be sent to my home address but never arrived. When I placed a package order myself on NFL Shop, I received an order confirmation via email, but nothing after that. When I went online to track my order, I found that my order had been refunded. I called customer service and was not given any explanation as to why my order was cancelled. Apparently, the item I had ordered was no longer in stock, and no one had contacted me to let me know it wasn't available. How frustrating!
I thought my experience couldn't get any worse, but then I ordered from NBAstore a couple of days later, and the same exact situation happened. My order was refunded, and I was not notified. I discovered this myself when I attempted to track my package. I called customer service, and they informed me that the reason my orders kept getting cancelled was that someone attempted to send a package to my address, which automatically flagged my address, which meant that my orders were subsequently cancelled as well. I was incredulous - how could this happen? Why can't I have a package sent to my own address without any issues?
When I asked the representative to fix the issue and reorder my items, they told me there was nothing they could do, and I had to have the person who was sending the gift call in or send my items to another address. That was what the original problem was! The representative suggested that they would not be able to send the items to my address any longer. I could not believe what I was hearing - this level of customer service was incredibly appalling. I demanded that they send my items to my job address and applied for my original discount again.
They ended up sending my three items separately through FedEx SmartPost, and the first of the three was returned to the shipper. The second item was marked as delivered as of yesterday, but it was not delivered to my job, and I have no idea where it could be. The final package was still on its way, but I had lost all hope that I would receive it. I then ordered a shirt through Fan's Edge, unaware that they were all affiliated with NFL Shop. When I tried to track the order, it had also been cancelled.
Overall, I was extremely disappointed with this company and its subsidiaries for their terrible customer service, lack of communication, and inability to take responsibility and fix the issues. I was left without Christmas presents for my three boys, which left me extremely upset. I will be posting this review wherever I can to warn others about this company's terrible practices. It's unacceptable for a large retailer like NFL Shop to cause such frustration and aggravation amongst its customers.

So, I decided to order a Jersey from NFL Shop, and it said it was in stock and ready to ship out the next business day. Perfect, right? Well, I was defaulted to "expedited" 3 day shipping for $13.99 at checkout, and I thought, why not? I wanted to have my Jersey by the weekend for the game. The next business day, I got an email saying it had shipped, great! But when Friday came, I got home and there was nothing there. No package. I clicked on the email that said it had shipped and clicked on tracking, but it sent me to some janky 1990's website of a shipping company I've never heard of called Ontrac. Okay, fine, let's click the details. But there were no details. It just said "shipped" and some random thing that said "data entry" in the status.
I decided to call NFLshop, but it was a huge hassle to get through the robot system and get a human. I waited on hold for 25 minutes and finally got someone. The lady was nice enough and apologized, saying "Sorry, that's really common to think it will arrive in 3 days, but it actually means it leaves the warehouse in 3 days. Customers misread that a lot, it's very common." Okay, maybe I did misread it, but I was done for the night. I thought maybe there would be a late night delivery. But Saturday afternoon came, and there was still nothing.
I decided to check out that 3 day shipping where I might have misread it. I picked out a jersey, went through the checkout process, and the lady straight up lied to me. Why? It said right there, the jersey was in stock, ships out next business day, pay $13.99 for a 3 day delivery. I ship out products daily, and I know exactly how much a 2lb priority package flat rate package costs to ship to me through USPS. I also know exactly how much a 2lb USPS priority mail costs to ship to me, even if it's not flat rate. Guess what? It's still under $13.99, and your business will still make a profit off your "shipping" side - which is lame, but whatever, at least the product arrives here in time, right?
Why even use this other company "Ontrac"? I looked them up, and their reviews are beyond terrible. I feel completely ripped off and worse off just straight up lied to. Terrible, you guys. You should be ashamed. I hope someone reads this in time, unlike me who found the site after the fact.

Unprofessional and Disrespectful Customer Service Experience with NFL Shop
My experience with NFL Shop was not at all pleasant. I opted for a 3-day shipping and was assured that my order would arrive as expected. Unfortunately, that was not the case. When I contacted the customer service, I was met with Sequina, who was very unhelpful and unprofessional. She stated that my order was placed at a "bad time" and that was why it would not arrive on time. I placed the order on a Thursday at 9 pm central time, well within their operations hours. I was informed that my order was not processed until Friday at 12 am, which was strange, but even if it was one full business day, my order should still have arrived on Wednesday as expected. Three business days were enough time for my order to arrive on Wednesday, but I was later told that it would take five business days instead.
Sequina was very rude, obnoxious and incredibly unprofessional. She spoke over me and raised her voice at me, which was rather disappointing. I have had experiences with exceptional customer service in the past, but Sequina was far from that. She could not provide any concrete explanation as to why my order was delayed for two extra days, and when I requested to speak with her supervisor, she tried hanging up on me. Moreover, she mispronounced my name and couldn't even get it right despite having my account information in front of her.
As a multi-billion dollar corporation, I expected NFL Shop to have better customer service. It was truly disappointing to be met with such utter disrespect and disregard. As a result, I will be returning my purchase and never shopping with them again. Instead, I suggest that people patronize their local football shops who often provide personalized care, and attention to customers' needs. It's disheartening to know that a company of this magnitude has an employee as unpleasant and unprofessional as Sequina.
