I bought a certified used car from Nissan in Wexford in May of 2021. It has had two major issues already I did buy a warranty. When my power steering went it was covered. My windshield wipers stopped working I took my car to Nissan Service on 4/1/22- I sat in the waiting room for 3 hours for them to diagnose the problem. Jarret set up an appointment for 4/8/22 and said the wind shield wipers would be fixed. I took my car on 4/8/22 and took an uber from Wexford at work. I called at 12 and Theresa answered and told me my car was on track to be finished by 3:30 PM. At 2 pm Jarret called and said they had not even started working on my car and it was no longer covered by the warranty and would be 600 dollars to fix and not done till 6 pm. I told him not to fix the car and Id pick it up. They charged me 112.35 for what they called diagnostic testing which took them two days and 11 hours to diagnose. There is a serious communication issue here and the customer service at Nissan does not even know how to read their own warranty. It was a complete waste of my time and money.
Desired outcome: Id like a refund for the 112.35 and Id like clear effective communication moving forward with the service department at Nissan Wexford.
