Nugget Casino & Resort review: VIP Lounge and Jay - a pit boss at the card tables.

In addition to the complaint filed on the VIP Lounge, these are the events that transpired after the initial conatc with Cameron:

Went to VIP office on Sunday, August 20, 2023, at approximately 3:30 - 4:00 pm. The host was very condolence and demeaning. Appeared not to want to help us and was VERY SHORT when asked questions. Asked about our preferred parking pass and she said that she can help, but we need to get a ticket from a kiosk and added that we need to hurry, because she was closing soon. Over an hour later, we saw her helping another couple and was very happy looking when she was helping them.

Later I asked for a supervisor and everyone I asked was not aware of who or how to contact that person. I asked one employee and he said that there was no supervisor on staff at that time. My reply was the "are the inmates running to asylum"?

I asked at the players desk and the lady informed me to speak to Jay, a pit boss at the card tables. He appeared to want to help and took down my complaint and my contact information. I provided my name and telephone number to be forwarded to a manager. He wrote it on a cocktail napkin and since I have not received a call back, I'm assuming he threw it away.

We've stayed and played at the Nugget for years. My mother-in-law has lost thousands of dollars on this trip. This has been the worst experience I we've ever had at the Nugget and any other casino that we've EVER stayed in.

All employees were not helpful, unhappy in appearance, and ignorant to any questions asked. I'm assuming that this review will go nowhere and I'm wasting my time writing this comment, nothing will change. There is a lack knowledge, ownership, and the desire to provide good customer service from any person employed by the Nugget. I will reconsider staying at the Nugget on all future trips. I will also seek out the General Manager of your facility and forward this comment to him. I believe his name is Mark Sterbens?
