I have no account with the above company. They call me all hours of the day and night. My name was given as a reference for someone else, but I am getting the calls. I have reported this company through the FTC because I am on the "Do Not Call Registry", but it has not stopped the phone calls. I have told them on many occasions not to call me concerning another individuals credit worthiness. Nothing seems to work with this company to get me off their call list. Please help.

Boy, can I identify with this story. I have been harrassed for almost 2 years by Nuvell because I was used as a contact. Somehow they now have my cell phone number and they are calling me at work and leaving threatening messages - they say I am in serious trouble and if I know what's good for me I better return their call. Yeah, right. Since I don't have any accounts with them, I don't have any address to send to the PA Attorney General. Does anyone have their address? I also want to send them a certified letter asking them to stop. Evidently they are breaking PA Law if I read the AG website correctly.

I can relate to these stories as well. I do not have an account with Nuvell Financial Services either, but apparently they have my name down as a contact for one of their customers, listed as a "close friend". They are now contacting my parents (who live in another state) and my cell phone. When I first spoke with a Nuvell rep, we established that I do not know that customer and she seemed satisfied she had contacted the wrong person.
I just received another call from the SAME Nuvell rep. This time she was very rude and said that all of the information she has about this customer contact leads back to me... as if I was not being honest with her about who I was. When I asked just exactly what information they had about me, she hung up. Luckily I had her extension and called back, she was even more rude and yelled that she had the wrong person.
I called the general information number listed on the website and told the operator I needed to speak to someone due to a collector harassing me about locating one of their customers. I was told I would be connected to a manager and was eventually disconnected. I'm not surprised, especially after reading these posts! I guess I'll try sending a letter to the physical address listed above if this doesn't stop.

I do have an account with Nuvell and if you go past due by more than 2 days you will get 14 calls a day. It is an automated system and it does not leave a message because it is against the law if they leave more than 1 message a day. Nuvell has reported me late twice for over 30 days when it was their mistake that cuased the payment not to post. One time I paid by phone on the 29th day past due and they reported me as late over 30 days and then next time the online system did not process my payment. I have repeatedly requested they correct this but they do not.

I will never deal with this company again. I have not had one good experience with this company. I am paying 8 years at 381.32 monthly on a 2002 Monte Carlo! That is over 38k on a 20k vehicle?

I have found Nuvell's mailing address. They have a P.O. BOX in Greeley, Colorado. But of course you cannot send certified return receipt mail to a PO BOX, which is why, I suspect, Nuvell has gone to all PO BOX mailing address.

Here is what I found through a public records search, because I too am dealing with these people.

NUVELL FINANCIAL SERVICES LLC
17500 CHENAL PARKWAY
SUITE 200
LITTLE ROCK, AR 72223

I am sure they do not want that address out there for people, but I am here for you people! MAIL AWAY!

My former roommate stole my identity while I was deployed and purchased a vehicle using Nuvell to finance. I was obviously stunned when my First Sergeant called me into his office about a vehicle I'd purchased and not paid for. When I contacted them, the rep said, and I quote, "There's some guy running around pretending to be you." In other words, they knew it was a fraudulent purchase. That didn't stop them though. I followed the proper procedures, filed the police report/ID theft affidavit/requested documentation from them, but nothing. In fact, they avoided me like the plague. Finally, after 10 months and 4 requests for documentation, they send me a letter saying that they'd completed an investigation and "disbelive my claim of identity theft." Rationale: documents had my signature. Idiots, the theif FAXED copies of me personal documents to the dealership, who, in turn, conducted the whole buying process over the phone/fax/internet and never bothered to verify the signature of the person picking up the vehicle...clearly a forgery. All of this, but they still sent me no documents. FINALLY, I talk to someone who sends me some paperwork...CLEARLY FORGED! I'm done...I now have an attorney and will seek damages since, all this time, they've reported me delinquent and in collections. All this for something I had absolutely no part in or knowledge of.

Nuvell had caused many problems for us as well. They have called us a dozen or more times in a day and have harrassed my wife and I and I were sick of it. They have even used vulgar language and always threaten to come take our vehicle if we are going to be late. We have called and tried to work with these rude people but it does no good. They won't accept any late payments and it's ### with the hard times the economy is experiencing. I believe every word I have read in these postings because it all has happened to us. They were just here today to trying to take repossession of my vehicle because the payment is due today. It's really a unprofessional practice not to allow a ten day grace period for your customers.
People wonder why all the other countries hate us so much, well look at all the greedy idiots out there that don't care about nothing but the almighty buck! If I could find a way to sue them ### for harrassment I would just to make them feel a little bit of the financial pains they caused everyone. I can't wait to hear that they have gone under, it will definitely put a smile on my face, because they have it all coming! Soon as I can afford to pay this so sorry so called company off I will. I would never ever recommend anyone sign into a loan agreement with Nuvell NEVER!

Calls, omg, that is the story of my life from this company, Nuvell Finance Corp! They have become an every day nuisance! Ignorant, demanding, obnoxious, rude people call all hours of the day and night! It is a disgrace and bad business on their behalf. I have contacted the Department of Commerce and the Federal Trade Commission. I know this is harrassment, and I won't take it anymore! I wil blog and contact whoever I need to contact to stop these illegal phone calls. They say all kinds of things like, "Do The Math", how about "You Should Of Read Your Contract Before You Signed It", does this sound familiar? They try to intimidate and humiliate you as a consumer! Well, I am an eduacated person, and I know this is so WRONG! Had I known this annoying, continuous phone calling and harrassment was gonna happen, I would of never stepped foot in that dealership! Someone should be held accountable for this constant wrong doing of this company! I am now going to contact our State Attorneys General's office to seek help from this awful nightmare. These are not isolated cases, this is happening all over the Country!

I have auto loan through Nuvell since 2004. I have been charged an outragious interest rate which I consider extortion. My husband has been laid off work off and on for the past year. I have been making payments every month but they still say I am behind.
I have spoke with them every month and explained my situation. As soon as a payment is made Nuvell is calling me the next day, at least four times a day for my next payment. I do consider this harrassment! Now my car was taken out of my driveway by 2 men setting off the car alarm at 12:20 am. I have been taking care of this car and paying on it for five years. Their business is being run as a legitimate crime syndicate.

I bought a car in 2007. I will never use Nuvell again for the simple fact that I was told this is a five year loan. They lied. It is a 7 year loan. I had to get a "deferment" for December's payment. I got no deferment. I paid a $50 fee and sent a money order for $383 in November. STILL in December they deducted $433 from my bank account (which was the total month's payment amount). Then they told me I still had to make a payment for January. I see it this way, they are paid through February. If they try to take my car, I'll take them to court. I sent them $400 and the remaining $33 was put in the mail today. Bottom line is this: they need to be shown in an American English dictionary what a deferment is...It means NO PAYMENT until a certain time. They also need to use people in their call centers that can speak Standard American English. I had to tell the lady FOUR times to NOT autodraft my account any more! If it happens again, I'll get a lawyer myself.
