Sales person lied to me about an extended coverage, and also slipped a page into the pile for me to sign
Sales person lied to me about an extended coverage, and also slipped a page into the pile for me to sign. Both added up to approximately $1,000. I have gotten the insurance company to reimburse, but payments go to my lien holder. The dealer lied to me repeatedly and their follow up was absolutely horrible. For four months I was calling once a week. In addition, the car was sold to me with a non-working radio, bad bearing in the right front wheel, and bad brake pads.
I got ripped off by this car dealer, Olympic Motor Co
I got ripped off by this car dealer, Olympic Motor Co. I bought a Jaguar XF from them in April . I had them deliver the car because I had two trade-ins that needed signatures from two parties. But guess what? They brought me a different model Jaguar that happened to have the same color and interior. The car was a mess, with a missing bumper piece and scratches and dents all over. And to top it off, sometimes it wouldn't even shift into park.
When I tried to get the correct car, they ignored my calls for over two weeks. So, I decided to go back to the dealership to return the defective vehicle and get my cars back. But they flat out refused to give them back. They didn't even have the title or signature of the actual owner for one of the trade-ins, yet they still wouldn't return it.
To make matters worse, they claimed that one of my trade-ins, which had no lien and was worth $30k, had magically gained $7k in value since the fraudulent transaction. Meanwhile, the defective car had lost $5k in value. So, they had the audacity to say that I owed them money to get my cars back. They even printed two sets of paperwork with different numbers and never gave me the check for the supposed difference. On top of that, they held onto the title for the new car for over 30 days. They told me I had to register the new car to cancel the transaction and get my trade-ins back, but now I know it was just a sneaky trick to prevent me from canceling.
This whole ordeal has been a financial disaster for me. The salesperson who orchestrated this scam got fired, but that doesn't change the fact that I was lied to and essentially robbed. And what's worse, the actual owners of one of the trade-ins still don't know that their vehicle has been stolen from them. I've tried everything to avoid legal action, but it seems like these people have no intention of making things right. They're willing to lie, cheat, and steal from anyone. It's absolutely disgusting and clearly criminal. The way they operate and manage their business is just plain wrong.

This company sent out mailers sayin they had a scratch off contest an according to my scratch off I won $7500 or Polaris ranger
This company sent out mailers sayin they had a scratch off contest an according to my scratch off I won $7500 or Polaris ranger. I drove 30 miles to claim my prize. They sat me down at a table. The salesman started talkin about the cars they had for sale. I said I wasn't interested. I went over to a board an gave them my number on my scratch off. They basically said I can have one scratch off an that was it. This was very misleadin.
We wanted to buy a Honda Odyssey at the end of June
We wanted to buy a Honda Odyssey at the end of June. We test drove the car and noticed something cranking while driving. We told them about it and they said we could pay a $100 deposit. They would hold the car and send a mechanic to check what's wrong. We called to check if they found the issue, but it took a while. They said the repair might cost around $200 or $300. They wouldn't fix it before we bought it, and we couldn't be sure if that would be the actual repair cost. I asked for a refund to my card, but they refused.
I got a scratch off ticket from Olympic Motor Co saying I won $7500.00 or a Polaris
I got a scratch off ticket from Olympic Motor Co saying I won $7500.00 or a Polaris. I was skeptical, but decided to give them a chance. I wasted my time going to their place only to be lied to. They took all my info and gave me a $2.00 lottery ticket as a gift. I asked for my info back. Tricking people into giving info for sales leads is bad business. It wasn't mentioned on the scratch off they sent.

I went to buy a car on April 6th
I went to buy a car on April 6th. I needed a co-signer, so I asked my brother if he could help me out. He agreed, and we went to Olympic Motor Co. However, things didn't go smoothly from there. The car's title never arrived, so I couldn't get it licensed. On top of that, the car had transmission and alternator issues, so it had to be taken to the shop. Finally, when the title did arrive, it had my brother's name on it instead of mine. To make matters worse, the car failed both emission and inspection tests. When we asked for a Carfax report, they refused to provide one. The salesperson told me it was too late to switch cars. I had already paid a total of $21,388.00 for the car, with $1500 as a down payment. Additionally, I spent $2500 on a warranty, which I haven't even had for 90 days yet.
Olympic Motor Co sold me a vehicle with problems that should've been covered by the original 30-day warranty
Olympic Motor Co sold me a vehicle with problems that should've been covered by the original 30-day warranty. They couldn't fix it and even added more issues, expecting me to pay for the repairs. The 30-day warranty expired without any solutions. Despite purchasing an expensive extended warranty, it still doesn't cover the additional problems. They want me to leave the car with them for a few more weeks to fix it, and they'll charge me for it too. None of their employees seem to know or care about their customers. Now the car is at the Jaguar dealer service center, and there are numerous issues costing thousands of dollars. Olympic should buy back the car and reimburse me for the $700 I just spent on tires. This has been the worst experience I've ever had with anything.
I bought a 2007 Acura RDX from Olympic Motor Co about 2 months ago
I bought a 2007 Acura RDX from Olympic Motor Co about 2 months ago. Right after I drove off the lot, I noticed a problem with the air conditioning - it was blowing hot air. They told me to bring the car back the following Saturday, but when I arrived, they said their mechanic doesn't work on Saturdays. They suggested dropping off the car anytime, but both my husband and I have jobs that start before they open. So, we had to wait for my husband's vacation, which happened 2 weeks later, to bring it back. Unfortunately, the mechanic wasn't available due to COVID. Finally, after waiting for another 2 weeks, we were able to bring it back. However, the company refused to fix it, claiming that we were past the 30-day warranty period. We had informed them about the issue on day 1, and we had tried to take it to them multiple times. Now, the car also needs an oil change and the pipes are clogged.
I bought a car from Olympic Motor Co that was used
I bought a car from Olympic Motor Co that was used. When I went to trade it in seven months later, they told me my car had been in an accident and was a rental on the title. When I purchased the car, I was never told any information about this vehicle, including multiple issues it had. The vehicle has been in my possession for a total of two months due to transmission issues (Flex plates, Tourqe Converter) and rotor issues. Dealing with this business has been very horrible. I contacted them and they said they would make it right. However, when I consistently contacted them to call me back, they hung up on me multiple times and told me to find someone who actually cared. I had put *** miles on my car when all these issues happened. From day one, I had issues and had to have my car repaired. They told me they would help, but this car has literally destroyed me financially.
When I first bought the car from Olympic Motor Co, I had to spend a week at the cabin fixing some issues with it
When I first bought the car from Olympic Motor Co, I had to spend a week at the cabin fixing some issues with it. However, when I got it back the first time, there was still a problem with the brakes. So, I took it back to them and they had it for about five days, but they didn't fix any of the problems. I only had the truck for three days when the airbag light came on. As I was driving on the highway, the engine started acting up, going crazy and losing power multiple times, but it didn't shut off completely. When I finally got home, the truck lost all power and I had to wait for about an hour before I could restart it.
I took it to the shop that Olympic Motor Co recommended, but they said they couldn't or wouldn't fix most of the issues. They mentioned that they would have to talk to the owner to see what could be done. They had the truck for about five days again, but unfortunately, they didn't fix any of the problems except for the dash cluster. Now, I've been going back and forth with Olympic Motor Co, trying to get my money back. They currently have the truck with them.
I bought a Silverado from Olympic Motor Co on December 18
I bought a Silverado from Olympic Motor Co on December 18. I paid $26,500 for the truck. Since buying it, I've had some concerns. I asked for the Carfax report, but they never gave it to me. When I brought the truck home, I noticed it had an oil leak. They had me take it to Valvoline, and they fixed it. However, when I start the truck, it still drags. They said they sprayed down the belts, but it didn't fix the issue. They didn't address that problem. I also had a problem with the lights, which they did fix. But then I noticed a stain above the bed liner. They said it might be from a lot of rain getting in there, but I asked if the truck had ever been flooded and they said no. The stain is still there. I asked for 2 keys for my vehicle, but they refused to give me another set. The key doesn't open the tailgate, so they said they would have me come back to look at it. However, they never set up an appointment or got back to me. All I want is for them to fix the truck properly. They already have the money from the credit union, but now it feels like I'm not a valued customer anymore.
On Friday, 2/18/2022, I got a flyer from Olympic Motors in the mail
On Friday, 2/18/2022, I got a flyer from Olympic Motors in the mail. The flyer had scratch-and-win parts. When I scratched off the parts, one said I was a "WINNER" and had won a "Polaris Ranger or $7,500 cash". I read the whole mailer and didn't find anything about any other part of this contest. As the mailer said, I called the "event hotline", gave them the "Invitation Code" on the mailer, confirmed my name and address, and they told me "Yes, you won! Congrats! Come to the dealership to get your prize". Later that day, I called the "event hotline" number again and talked to someone else. I asked about the model of Polaris Ranger I won. This person said they didn't know which model I won, but it was a brand new one. I asked if there was anything else I needed to do to get either the Polaris Ranger or the $7500. They said, "No, sir; just come to the dealership to get your prize". The next day, Saturday, 2/19/2022, my wife and I drove to the dealership to get the $7,500 winnings. When we got there, a salesman greeted us. I told the salesman we were there to get our $7,500 and showed him the flyer. The salesman told me we had to match another set of numbers to win. I told him that two different people from the "event hotline" told me I was a winner and just needed to show up to get it. The salesman said, "Well, they shouldn't have done that". Then he asked for my contact info. My wife and I said we were leaving and contacting the fraud department of the FTC and the ComplaintsBoard.com. I still have the mailer.
I bought a BMW X3 from Olympic Motor Co on July 17
I bought a BMW X3 from Olympic Motor Co on July 17. They told me I would get my paperwork and title within 5 days, but it's now August 10th and I still haven't received anything. I've called them multiple times, but they haven't contacted me on their own to let me know what's going on. They keep saying there were system issues and that I should get the documents soon. My first payment is due on August 17th, but I haven't received any payment information from the lender because of the paperwork delay. The dealer said they'll cover my first payment since I'm not in the system yet. They did fix the defective glovebox on August 5th after I gave them the repair estimate, which cost $143.75. I sent them the invoice and they said they would send me a check and an extended temporary tag because of the paperwork delay. Today, on Monday, August 10th, I called the dealer again to check on the status of the check, temporary tag, and paperwork. I told them I need the temporary tag and reimbursement check by tomorrow and asked if they could give me the tracking number. Still no update on the original paperwork or title. I need help getting the items I'm legally supposed to receive. Thank you.
I bought a car from Olympic Motor Co about 8 months ago and I've been complaining to them nonstop about the vehicle
I bought a car from Olympic Motor Co about 8 months ago and I've been complaining to them nonstop about the vehicle. When I bought it, I noticed that the check tail light bulb was blown. I asked the salesperson to fix it and he said he would, but I had to bring the car in the following week for repairs. When I dropped off the car, their mechanic called and asked if the vehicle had been inspected. I told him yes because I had the temporary tag. He said the car hadn't been inspected and I would have to leave it there a little longer. Well, a little longer turned out to be a month and a half. They kept my vehicle and said they had to do some repairs because it had all sorts of codes. I told them that was fine and spoke with the dealer. They arranged for me to have a loaner car for a month.
After a month of having my vehicle, I picked it up and as soon as I got on the highway, the check engine light came on and the blown tail light bulb was still blown. I was so tired of going back and forth with the dealer and them having my car for over a month that I decided to just continue with my day. I called and called and called, asking them to put me in another vehicle because I felt like the car was unsafe and the repairs hadn't been done. I also had an oil leak that I complained about repeatedly. They told me I had an extended warranty, but when I brought the car in for repairs, they said I had to pay out of pocket because the warranty only covered the engine and transmission. So, I had to pay for the repairs myself.
Now, 8 months have passed and the engine has failed. I've tried numerous times to contact the manager, but he hasn't been very friendly. He even threatened to call the cops on me. After waiting for about 2 weeks, I finally got a call from the extended warranty department.
