OneShare Health review: Refusing to pay the hospital amount for my surgery this Wednesday 9/20/23

I have been paying my hospitalization premiums for years to One Share, this is the first time I have needed hospitalization coverage for a surgery I am scheduled for this Wednesday 9/20/23.

One Share pre-approved the doctor and the surgery but are refusing to pay the hospital fees. They are in a debate with the hospital over the cost, which is them debating my health. My doctor has stated my surgery is urgent and One Share says that they need 14 days to debate this and still won't guarantee coverage.

I told them I have to have the surgery and One Share does not care!

I am in conversations constantly with One Share and getting nowhere.

All they keep telling me is that they have a team who is trying to pay only Medicare prices. I'm Not on Medicare. Just pay the fair hospital fees.

Cape Coral hospital says they want to be paid the same as any other medical share or insurance and that is 70%. This is fair, it is what everyone else has to pay.

I cannot believe that One Share would put my health at risk to save a few dollars! After I have faithfully paid my premiums for years.

This is the first time I have needed to make a claim on my hospitalization and One Share won't pay!

Surgery alone can cause stress and anxiety - and One Share is making this way more stressful for me and my family. What you are doing is unconscionable.
