Solidarity Healthshare Emergency room visit to St Hospital in City, State on 9/10

Emergency room visit to St Hospital in City, State on 9/10. The bill was $3321.71 and I paid my part of $756.74 leaving a balance due of $2564.97. Solidarity never acknowledged receiving the claim although multiple attempts were made until March with repeated interventions on my part. Solidarity challenged the charges but took no further action. I have been in collections for over a year on this bill. I have made dozens of phone calls and emails over the last 20 months and I pushed for resolution in January with no response from Solidarity until March where they claim the hospital never responded. Solidarity is now demanding an itemized statement which I sent them in April last year and now neither I nor the hospital has heard from Solidarity in 6 weeks. The resolution I am seeking is for Solidarity to pay this long overdue hospital bill.

I have been a member of Solidarity Health share since February . I pay approximately $390/mtg to participate in this program. I was told by a Solidarity employee that I was eligible for a Wellness check up, all of my out of pocket expenses would be reimbursed. I followed all instructions, submitted all required medical bills and documents 3 times. This check up was in January . My out of pocket expense totalled $735.00. To date, I have received no reimbursement for my expenses. I have sent 5 requests for an explanation as to why I have not been reimbursed. No company representative has responded.

I received care on 7/16 and have been balanced billed. Rather than pay the balance *** Solidarity Healthshare continues to attempt to negotiate with the provider who has told me they do not have a contract or agreement with Solidarity Healthshare and they are not obligated to write off or adjust the balance and will not be doing so. A division of Solidarity Healthshare called AMPS is working with the provider, but to no avail. Now, I am officially in collections. This is a horrible mess and if my credit score is impacted it will lay solely on Solidarity Healthshare and AMPS.

I was a paying member of Solidarity Healthshare in March. I was diagnosed with throat cancer and had the nesessary surgeries durring that month at *** Hospital in ***. The currant balance of unpaid bills due for the surgery has exceded $92000.00. I have since paid a portion of the ***, exceeding the deductible amount listed in Solidarities contract. They are responsible for close to $90000.00 of the remaining outstanding bills and have only contributed $71.00. They have been contacted by the hospitals billing department and myself and they have not responded.

Solidarity Healthshare Original transaction date was 128 2020 solidarity healthshare authorized the surgery

Original transaction date was 128 2020 solidarity healthshare authorized the surgery. For the last 13 months since the surgery solidarity health share paid very little of the ***, and have told me over and over through the last 13 months that they would reimburse the amount I paid out of pocket.3/4 l paid $539.70 5/14 Paid $500.00 7/13 Paid $898.57 All paid to surgery center of southern ***. I was told numerous times over the last year that I would be reimbursed yet continue to get excuses I was last told they would reimburse these expenses by 2/8. Attempts and sitting on hold I finally got a hold of someone this morning, and they made more excuses. The agent started blaming medical facilities and doctors for trying to get more money out of me! I am fed up with a theft and lies. I want to get out of solidarity healthshare, but not until this is settled.

I have a *** from Baptist Health that I'm being balance billed for and Solidarity Health and AMPS are not resolving the issue. They said they are working on it, but the billing department has no correspondence and I cannot get an update. I've left messages with Solidarity Healthshare and AMPS with NO return calls or contact. Solidarity Health was so good when I signed up three years ago. They have gone down hill. Bills don't get paid in a timely fashion and communication is severely lacking. I pay my monthly share and do not get the help I am supposed to receive. I need other medical care including my yearly exams, but am afraid to get them as I will likely just accumulate more bills they don't pay. I am desperate for them to contact me and the billing department at Baptist Health Hospital an resolve this issue. This is unacceptable on their part!

I was an active paying member of Solidarity healthshare and delivered a baby May and the in-hospital pediatrician *** services qualified for payment under my healthshare plan. There were two charges dated 5/6 for $198 and 5/7 for $113 for a total of $311 needing to be paid to Wasatch pediatrics. Solidarity healthshare delayed more than 8 months, and then sent the check to the wrong pediatrician office. The wrong check was returned to solidarity healthshare and then they delayed another 2 months to issue a new check to the correct pediatrician office which they supposedly did April . It is now July and Wasatch pediatrics still has NOT received payment. I want them paid fairly and the issue to be taken care of immediately. While enrolling solidarity promises to process bills within 45 days and it has now been 14 months.

Once again, I am receving a final notice and am being sent to collections from a provider that Solidairty assured me they were taking care of. I have sent emails and left voicemails over the last two weeks and have not gotten a response. The provider is requesting a payment of $2200 from me which Solidarity is responsible for. The services for this *** were in January. I don't fault the provider for wanting their payment that is 6 months overdue. *** is the 'manager' contact I was provided. He never responds to emails or voicemails. It is beyond frustrating to be penalized for the incompetance of Solidarity Healthshare.

We have two bills that were never refunded to us from Jan/Feb of 2021 around $600. We also want to be reimbursed for the last month of our membership, $500 as this has been the worst experience having Solidarity and they have not provided the services that they said they would.

Solidarity Healthshare We have been members of this health sharing program since 1/1

We have been members of this health sharing program since 1/1. We have paid all of our membership dues on time and followed all reasonable instructions to submit medical expenses incurred for review and reimbursement as outlined by the program terms. To date we have accrued over $20,000 in medical bills this year, and have not seen a single reimbursement from Solidarity. Many of our medicals bills have been sent to collections and we have been forced to pay out of pocket, well beyond the maximum amount prescribed ($1,500) by the health sharing program. Solidarity has continually come back asking us to provide additional detail in order to process our claims, but this information was not requested in the online claims portals they require for submittal. Given that several others are reporting the same experience across social media we know this is a systemic issue.

We signed up for Solidarity Healthshare in fall of 2019. Since then we have paid thousands of dollars in "Sharing Amounts". We submitted thousands of dollars in medical bills through Solidarity's portal, and so far only a couple have been addressed. If you call it's impossible to reach anyone, and they rarely respond to email. Several months ago they claimed that their office was backlogged due to an unprecedented number of new members. They claimed it was not a money issue and they were hiring new staff and expanding. They promised to get caught up on backlogged bills. So far there is no evidence of that. In the meantime we are left paying out of pocket for all the medical bills. Solidarity either needs to make payment arrangements for all the bills currently submitted, or refund every penny of the "Sharing Amounts" we have paid up to this point.

Solidarity has failed to process outstanding bills that are dated in September and October. Two providers are threatening to send my account to collections which will be detrimental to my credit. I have called and requested expediting processing since I ended my membership with Solidarity on January 31. It has been extremely difficult to deal with their customer service. I have been calling every 3-5 days to request an update and they have yet to resolve these issues.

We are looking for the money owed to us for out of pocket expenses above and beyond our $ *** share responsibility with Solidarity Heathshare. We have submitted all the information that they have requested months ago. They are beyond their promised 120 day period for reimbursement and have shown no communication regarding updates on money owed unless I have reached out to them.

I am being sent to collections because Solidarity has not processed medical bills that are from September . My credit score is being affected. When these late bills started arriving, I was given a contact to one of Solidarity's supervisors. I have sent that supervisor emails and called several times over the last month and have gotten no response. Multiple bills with thousands of dollars each worth of medical charges that Solidarity is liable to pay have not been processed leading the providers to seeking action against myself. I discontinued my membership with the Solidarity in January and they still have not yet processed all the outstanding bills.

Solidarity Healthshare I began insurance with Solidarity, effective February 1

I began insurance with Solidarity, effective February 1. I got in a ski accident in February 19 and paid over $15,000 out of pocket for *** trip, medical equipment, *** visits, MRI, Physical therapy, doctor visits, etc. They promise you it covers 100% of all medical expenses. To date I have only been reimbursed $2500.Overseas bills dont have the right diagnostic codes dont give an English *** cannot be reached couldnt find contact person didnt share procedure codes you have to contact them didnt have address listed on the *** this trip to the *** was within 60 days of service this MRI after your ski accident doesnt count as an emergency medical issue which qualified for coverage under our service ... MY time spent: 50+ hours on calls to them asking the status, why they havent reimbursed, what else is needed = $25000 value.I paid $249 / month x 19 months = $4731 for promises of 120 days processing on 100% of medical bills. Lies.

I am charged every month for our premiums from Solidarity Healthshare . They take our money out of our account and are not fulfilling their end of paying our medical bills. Some are over a year old. We call several times a month and always get an excuse as to why things are not being taken care of on their end. I have also been waiting 11 months to be reimbursed for procedures I paid for out of pocket- every time I call I am also given an excuse as to why I have not been reimbursed yet.

Solidarity Health Share has repeatedly mislead their consumers as far as paying reimbursements...many of the members have tried to contact them including myself with information as to how long it will take for their claims to be paid. I have made two attempts to contact *** at *** to ask questions about their supposed "improvements". He has not responded as has also been reported by other members on *** We deserve better. We deserve at least a prompt reply to our inquiries. It is for this reason that I write this customer dissatisfaction complaint.

We worked with Solidarity under the premise that our calls would be answered in a timely matter, and bills would be worked with to be repriced, and shared, and paid after our Annual Unshared Amount. We have attempted NUMEROUS email and phone conversations, NUMEROUS times the doctors offices have tried to contact Solidarity to no answer, or no help. All of our bills have been turned over to collection, as my husband also lost his job this past year. We are struggling to make ends meet as it is, and trying to make payment arrangements with the collection agencies. Solidarity has not held up their end of the bargain. We are saddened and disheartened that a Christian organization would treat its members with such dishonesty and ill regard.

Solidarity Healthshare has been giving us the runaround about paying for a mammogram. Everything was complete and a check was to be issued. When the check does not show up, a new question about the provider shows up. That gets answered and the *** will be paid in 6 weeks. But no, there is a new system that will solve all the ills of Solidarity. It will process the *** in 6 weeks. 6 weeks passes and nothing. E-mails go unanswered, except for the new system will be on line and give us a few more weeks. These "answers" have stopped and there is no response. They are bilking additional monthly fees and we would have covered these expenses. I have told them that I will not accept any more charges until this is resolved. This is a ponzi scheme that needs to be looked into and prosecuted. They are not capable to telling the truth.

Solidarity Healthshare I joined this Health Share July

I joined this Health Share July . I have received medical treatment as early as January 13th and several times after that. I have followed all of the required protocols and my medical bills have yet to be processed. I have now had to pay out of pocket for my physical $568. which should have been covered 100% by Solidarity and have been put on a payment plan with my provider because they will know longer extend my bills, and my credit rating could be damaged if I do not pay. My medical bills from Allina Health total ***. I have paid *** out of my own pocket. In addition I have $2376.00 due to Suburban Imaging for MRIs that I received. I paid my monthly premiums timely and have reached out to Solidarity several times by phone email and their web portal. I have not gotten them to pay or even tell me a date they will process my claims. This is unethical. Solidarity states they have a delay of processing due to new software which was implemented over a year ago

Solidarity Healthshare I have used solidarity for the last 13 months

I have used solidarity for the last 13 months. Was told everything I wanted to hear. A good catholic ministry with the goal of being a Christian HealthShare designed to help people escape from paying for insurance that provided abortions, encouraged community, etc. Since joining it has been an absolute nightmare. Bills not getting paid, providers never even getting ahold of someone at solidarity. Having to pay cash for Premie NICU follow *** and wellness visits. All told would be covered. I have worked diligently submitting the correct paperwork 3 different times to to get bills paid. Every time I am told my reimbursement is processing. I get kicked to a different care Rep and have to start all over due to no escalations or requests are recorded on your fileGive me a break, I firmly believe they are fraudulently withholding payments and reimbursements. I recommend no one use this service. And if you are in the same boat as me record your phone conversations with the care agents

Solidarity Healthshare This company is a SCAM!

This company is a SCAM! I began insurance with Solidarity, effective Aug 1, 2020. I have already met my deductible (AUA) in 2020. They promise you it covers 100% of all medical expenses after meeting the *** . To date I have NOT BEEN REIMBURSED for receipts submitted back in 2020! WAY past the 120 days from when each one was first submitted.Every month, I have to contact them about not getting my reimbursements and they ALWAYS have excuse! dont have the right diagnostic, procedure codes or address or TAX ID" when I have proof that I submitted all of those! THen they MESS things up even further bec they lose everything you have submitted to them and they ask you to re-send, and when you re-send, they still don't address it! Over and over they give reasons for not paying you! Literally, this should result in a lawsuit! I pay faithfully monthly for nothing! 12 mos is a long time to wait for a company to reimburse, esp if they promise 120 days processing time and 100% *** repaid

Solidarity is an evil company and a complete

They take your money and don't cover anything.

Here's an article about it:

https://www.pillarcatholic.com/p/solidarity-health-fails-federal-disclosure

Look up the facebook group "victims of Solidarity healthshare" for more testimonies.

My wife sent a message to the mom's group in our church just to warn other families and within minutes she had multiple replies from other families with the same experience.

This is a truly evil organization. If you become a member, you will be directly supporting corrupt scam artists and worse, your family be in a terribly vulnerable position without aid in the event of a medical problem.

Please stay away and warn everyone you know to stay away as well.

Solidarity Healthshare I have 3 claims that I am being balance billed from Phoenix Children's Hospital

I have 3 claims that I am being balance billed from Phoenix Children's Hospital. The 1st is from date of service 9/2 $810.00 of which I paid $162.00 deposit to PCH on the day of my appt. Solidarity processed this claim and paid $0 to PCH. Now I am being balanced billed $648.00. The 2nd is from date of service 11/4 $365.00 and the 3rd is date of service 11/4 $43.00, total balance bill from PCH is $408.00. Solidarity processed these two claims applying $167.88 and $14.88 to my annual deductible in which PCH will not accept these amounts as payment in full. PCH has told me they will be sending me to collections on 30 days. I have asked Solidarity and their AMPS dept. to call PCH and negotiate my balance bills BEFORE I am sent collections. Unfortunately, Solidarity is not acting upon my request to get these balance bills resolved. I am a single mother providing for myself and two boys financial, physically, emotionally, all myself. I CANNOT afford to be sent to collections

Solidarity Healthshare I have medical bills from Aug/Sept 2021 that have not been paid by Solidarity to my providers

I have medical bills from Aug/Sept 2021 that have not been paid by Solidarity to my providers. Solidarity said that they would pay a *** within 120 working days, then they have changed it such that they would pay on average at 120 working days. That is approximately 6 months which is terrible! My bills from breaking my wrist have been WELL over 6 months now. I received a final notice from Huntsville Hospital ER first of March. *** was $1301 and services were rendered on 8/9 and Solidarity received the *** on 8/27. So it's been nearly 8 months and Solidarity has NOT paid yet. It was even expedited by Solidarity because it was a final notice on 3/7/2022. This doesn't seem to have helped. This is one example of many that need to be paid! Please note that payment from Solidarity is mandatory because I met my Annual unshared amount(deductible), which was what was agreed upon. Let me be clear, I have paid my monthly payments and met my "unshared amount" for 2021 and Solidarity has not paid my providers!

Solidarity Healthshare Solidarity has been horrible to work with in resolving billing issues

Solidarity has been horrible to work with in resolving billing issues. Despite sending them balance bills that I received from a provider, they have repeatedly not addressed the problem and have twice responded to be telling me they need me to get more information before they will dispute the charges. I sent the information that I have, and the provider has told me that they did not receive any payment; therefore, I cannot send Solidarity a statement showing the payments they have already made as they are requesting. In addition, they should already know what they have paid towards my bills. I have received no response from my last contact with them and sent over another contact inquiring about these bills today. The provider is no longer keeping me on hold to prevent me from going to collections, even though I should not owe for any of these bills. I will not remove this complaint until they have addressed all the bills that I have submitted and requested that they address, including other bills to other providers as well as waiting for reimbursement for bills I had to pay for out of pocket. To others looking for healthcare coverage options: stay away from Solidarity.

Our daughter was born in April and we are still waiting on nearly $20,000 to be reimbursed from a delivery and subsequent, albeit brief, NICU stay. The nearly $20,000 has since been sent to Collections and there seems to be no end in sight. I've spent countless hours on the phone, been passed from one department to the next, had direct contacts who suddenly left the company with no continued follow up, and I'm not being told no supervisors are available to discuss our case or concerns. I was told everything should have been settled for months now, but has been transferred to another system, lost, or required additional information that was already repeatedly provided. The bills have been "approved" and "escalated" but nothing has happened.I'm so disappointed in Solidarity, their "technical" issues, the lack of accountability, and so on. I've spoken with very kind and patient customer reps, but in the end, there isn't much they can do.It's not reasonable (nor is it ethical) by any means to continue to advertise and expand when infrastructure is failing by any and all measures. Prior to (finally) saying our goodbyes to Solidarity, we paid other medical bills on our own, as it was less stressful than dealing with Solidarity at any level.

Solidarity Healthshare I have paid my monthly payment amount with Solidarity Healthshare for my husband and myself, in the amount of $4548 for the year of 2020

I have paid my monthly payment amount with Solidarity Healthshare for my husband and myself, in the amount of $4548 for the year of 2020. I have filed my medical claims as instructed with full documentation, and have records of OVER 40 CALLS with notes trying to get my claims reimbursed to me. For all but one claim, I have had to negotiate my OWN discount and pay the bill, in order to avoid collection. Despite being told numerous times that my claims are in the "queue for escalation", I have not received any payment. I have spent over two hours every single call trying to get resolution for my claims and get my money. I have written to the corporate CEO in Arizona and made my complaint in October and have yet to receive any response. Numerous times I have been told I would hear back from someone and do not; and several times, if you are able to get the same person on the phone, the person you were working with no longer works there. I think this company is now phony and are only able to say "we are working on it" and that is all they are doing. The only claim they processed for my husband and myself, they sent the incorrect amount to the wrong facility in another state (why?), and they say they cannot reprocess that claim until they are able to find the check! This has already been since 12/9, and the original claim date is 2/5! Absolutely deplorable.

Solidarity Healthshare My family and I have chosen to leave Solidarity due to its lack of responsibility and ability to provide a service as advertised

My family and I have chosen to leave Solidarity due to its lack of responsibility and ability to provide a service as advertised. Upon leaving there are outstanding bills that need to be paid by Solidarity and my family would need to be reimbursed as well, for paying over the Annual Unshared Amount. Our Annual Unshared Amount is $2,500, we have paid $5,349.47 out of pock and the remain balances on our bills are $4,394.14 as of 3/22. I have reached out and collected all information requested by Solidarity and was informed that updated information would be expedited to a 20 day turnaround time as noted in an email sent to them on Nov 21st following a phone conversation. All information that was collected by myself was available to the company if they would have reached out to the health care providers. I notified Solidarity of this on 1/12 and stated that all remaining information that should be collected needs to be worked through the health care providers directly for the quickest turnaround time of information. I notified the company that any delays beyond the 20 day turnaround time as promised would result in my contacting the Complaintsboard.com. They responded to the email not addressing the statement directly however, the reply indicates that they have seen the message. Their last contact with me was on 1/13 and I emailed them on 3/5 notifying them that they needed to contact me by 3/10 otherwise I would be contacting the Complaintsboard.com as previously stated.

Solidarity Healthshare Solidarity Healthshare Member - Claims Processing Issues and Unpaid Services

As a member of Solidarity Healthshare, I am experiencing issues with claims not being processed correctly by Solidarity. The Explanation of Services is not being processed in a timely manner and neither shared members nor providers are receiving it promptly. Claims are also not being paid out in a timely fashion. The following Dates of Service (DOS) are still outstanding: 1) Annual women's wellness visit on 8/30 and continued on 8/31. These visits are covered by Solidarity Healthshare. I was informed that for these DOS, $1,048 was re-priced to $375.76 and was approved for payment; however, no payment has been sent to the provider to date. It has been nearly 10 months since the claim was submitted. Due to an error on Solidarity's part, the claim had to be reprocessed. Despite being informed about the re-pricing and intended payout, Solidarity has not completed the processing, resulting in the provider not receiving the $375.76 and neither the provider nor I have received the Explanation of Services. 2) For Banner Imaging DOS on 10/8 for $511.00 (CT scan) and on 12/14 for $384.00 (annual mammogram), when I contacted Solidarity, they only acknowledged the combined amount of $938.00 and had it incorrectly coded as a CT screening. I clarified that the invoice included two separate DOS for different services. I was told they would note this, but to date, the processing has not been finalized and no payment has been made to Banner. Consequently, Banner sent my outstanding invoice to collections. However, the collection agency has since made a note and returned it to Banner.

Solidarity Healthshare Solidarity Healthshare indicates they process/pay valid medical claims for enrolled members within 120 business days

Solidarity Healthshare indicates they process/pay valid medical claims for enrolled members within 120 business days. My husband, who pushed back a procedure by a week to get preapproval from Solidarity is now 124 business days from the date of service with no payment being made to the medical provider. As a result, even though the procedure was preapproved, and my husband calls Solidarity on a daily basis now (has called 1x/month since July and now daily), the manager will not take his call, return his call or pay the bill. This bill is just under $7000 and we've been paying our monthly premiums on time for 3 years, we fulfill our obligation every month, yet Solidarity continues to move the goal post and say it's being processed, it's been accelerated. Talk is cheap. The medical provider did their job and billed them in a timely manner as well. As a consumer, we feel absolutely stuck. This pattern has the potential to create a ton of credit issues for enrollees who cannot keep the peace by paying medical providers to prevent collections. In addition, a customer service rep from Solidarity has told us not to pay the provider either because it "messes up" their negotiation. So, if no one pays the doctor, who suffers? Only the patient and the doctor. Solidarity is safe. The worst part is that Solidarity is touted as a Christian service provider, yet this is how they treat their enrollees and medical providers. So much for the Golden Rule. We are extremely disappointed and cannot recommend Solidarity Healthshare.

Solidarity Healthshare Solidarity Healthshare represented itself as a cost-sharing health organization

Solidarity Healthshare represented itself as a cost-sharing health organization. I have paid monthly "shares" for over 3 years to them. In February and March I had medical needs totaling $1896.00. I paid the providers and submitted my medical bills for reimbursement to the online sharebox in April . Sometime in May , the sharebox no longer showed my bills so I contacted Solidarity. They had me get retroactive preauthorization for an endoscopy which cost $1250.00, and asked me to provide specific information for each ***, which I obtained and emailed to a representative named *** in August . He assured me that my claims would not be further delayed. I heard nothing more from Solidarity and when I called was left on hold or disconnected. Finally in December , I received an email about a new sharebox and logged in to find my medical bills had vanished again. I got in touch with another representative who said he would check on the situation and get back to me. He indicated some of the bills were in the sharebox although not visible to me. I never heard from him again. In the meantime, my share cost increased significantly with no notice or explanation in December. Today I tried again to call them and got left on hold again. I never got the follow up care that the endocrinologist recommended because I couldn't afford it if Solidarity would not pay the shares they are supposed to pay. Now I have a pre-existing condition if I go to another cost-sharing provider. Please help me resolve this situation.

Solidarity Healthshare January 13, wellness physical at Allina Health and payment issues

On January 13, I had a wellness physical at Allina Health. This visit should have been covered by Solidarity Healthshare. I submitted all necessary documentation for prompt processing and repeatedly informed Solidarity of the outstanding payment. By July 8th, I had to pay out of pocket as Allina would not grant further payment extensions. I sent Solidarity the receipt for reimbursement. They restructured the cost and sent a check for $134.28, mistakenly including physical therapy, which I did not receive. I only discussed a sore ankle with my doctor. I received the reimbursement check in August . However, Allina refused to accept Solidarity's restructured cost and would not refund my payment. Despite multiple contacts with Solidarity, I've had no resolution. It's been 8 months, and I am still seeking a refund. I will attach the necessary documents for review. I appreciate your assistance with this matter.

Solidarity Healthshare Hi, My name is [redacted] and I am filing a dispute with Solidarity Health Share

Hi, My name is [redacted] and I am filing a dispute with Solidarity Health Share. We have been with Solidarity since 2018. Since then, in 2020 they underwent a transition in their software program. Prior to this, they were great about paying bills and working with the doctor's offices. In October , I underwent an MRI procedure. They paid roughly $600 on a $5400 bill. The doctor's office billed me the balance and Solidarity said they would negotiate it. The bill went into collections and was sent to their billing department, AMPS. AMPS has failed to dispute it and now says it is in their negotiation department as of June 2022. It should in no way still be in collections and I would like to get that paid. My daughter had appendicitis and had to have an emergent appendectomy for a ruptured appendix in November . The bills for this are roughly $64,000. I have been getting bills in the mail for this. Solidarity said they would negotiate the bills within 120 business days. It has passed the 120 business days and Solidarity says it is still in the process. They have 'repriced' it and will pay $9,000 supposedly and says it will take quite a bit of time to pay this. The hospital does not want to negotiate with them and will bill us for the balance. In the meantime, we have other doctors' offices calling us saying that Solidarity has not repriced and/or negotiated payments with them. We would like to get all of our medical bills caught up and paid, and I am afraid to have a lien put against our house because of the exorbitant amount we have owed to the doctor's offices and hospital. Thank you so much.

Solidarity Healthshare My husband and I signed up for Solidarity Healthshare over two years ago because our health insurance premiums were in excess of $1300 a month

My husband and I signed up for Solidarity Healthshare over two years ago because our health insurance premiums were in excess of $1300 a month. We had heard that health sharing organizations were a good alternative for a reasonable cost. I fully understood that Solidarity HS is not health insurance and would require more work on my part and longer wait times for reimbursement. The cost difference was well worth it at first! We submitted several small claims and were satisfied with the turnaround time and the reimbursement amounts. Since June though, Solidarity has really dropped the ball. They claim it is due to transferring to a new system for processing claims and lack of adequate staff. I am still awaiting processing and reimbursement for a well check-up (eligible for 100% reimbursement) from 11/7 and six more claims submitted since then (4/28, 6/29, two for 6/23, 6/24, and 6/25). These claims are well beyond the 90-day reimbursement period that Solidarity advertised when we signed up. I had been contacting the company monthly to check on the status of my claims and in the past two months, I have contacted them weekly. Before the system change-over, members could see their claims on the Solidarity website and track the processing of claims. They have taken down this information so we are in the dark as to claim status; thus, the need to contact them constantly by phone. I get lots of apologies and excuses but no action. I have terminated my membership as of 10/31 and I wonder how many members are doing the same thing. I am afraid they may be going bankrupt or have a lack of funds to reimburse claims due to loss of paying members.

Solidarity Healthshare We became members at Solidarity in September and cancelled our membership in November

We became members at Solidarity in September and cancelled our membership in November. During that time my son had 7 routine well-child office visits in which we paid out of pocket for all of those visits and have only been reimbursed for 2 of them. I also had a low risk pregnancy and labor during that time as well, and was working with one of Solidarity's maternity advocates with that information. I sent her the information for the labor and delivery at the end of October and finished sending the information in November. She had emailed back on November 24 saying that the bills had been sent in for processing. I have since reached out twice (on 1/28/22 and 2/25/22) about getting an update on those bills and not received a single response. I have been paying $400 a month to the Hospital just so my medical bills don't get sent to collections.Per there sharing guidelines found on their website all of the bills incurred by my family should be shared: "Maternity. Medical expenses for Maternity, including, but not limited to, charges and expenses arising from Physician care, Hospital or birthing center admissions, attendance by midwives, or home deliveries accompanied by a midwife or Physician." And also... "Sharing Members in the first two (2) years of life have seven (7) well-child visits for the first year and three (3) well-child visits for the second year eligible for *** has caused so much stress and a financial burden. We paid our monthly dues on time, provided them consistently with the information needed for processing, and have been extremely patient with the technology switch over they implemented during that time. Our bills should be processed and shared, but we have consistently been given the go-around. Their timelines given to members are not accurate and their communication is lacking.
