For two years I have been going to dentist ,six differnt care plus Dentists, I pay the 30 to 60 dollar initial visit I need 3 teeth pulle,enfter each exam they come back with a bill of any where from 18.000 to 50.000 dollars and never pull the teeth I need pulled. I want you to know I almost died waiting to see a Dentist and get these 3 teeth pulled.Cate plus Dental is a big scam .
Desired outcome: I want my money back and don't tell people they have dental insurance when it is a lie.
HMO Medical Care
I have been paying insurance premiums for 18 months, and have received no medical care. What I have received is bully and harassment. I have tried 4 different doctors in this HMO. The first tried to bully me into taking the experimental covid shot. The nurses there were extremely rude to me for not complying. The next Doctor office notified me at 2 months that I must get in to see the doctor in the first 30 days, so they dropped me. The third doctor's office manager insisted that I didn't need to wear a mask in the office...she guaranteed it. After I switched to her doctor and made an appointment, she called me back and said, You do have to wear a mask. Fourth doctor--no mask, but referral for an xray to a provider which requires a mask (which is against my religion 2 Corinthians 3:18). I asked them for a referral to a neurologist; they gave me one for a gastroenterologist. They lost my new patient paperwork. When I called them to correct the referral, they never called back. Basically, I have been dealing with extreme morning lower back pain, am an athlete, and they don't care. I've filed a complaint with the state of Florida.

My name is Anna McCorry, birthdate 12/14/1954. My Primary is Dr. Jennifer Abernathy at Heart of Florida in Ocala FL.
This is a major ongoing situation with CarePlus and my referral for physical therapy with Lifetime Center Advent Physical Therapy Services.
On Friday, June 6th, the head of Physical Therapy at Advent ER sent a referral to you for physical therapy.
I received no reply.
I called CarePlus and they said they had received no referral request.
I contacted my primary at Heart of Florida. She said a referral request had been sent to CarePlus for physical therapy with Lifetime Advent on Friday, June 10, 2022.
Again, I called CarePlus and they said they had received no referral request.
But on Monday, June 13, 2022, Lifetime Advent called me and said CarePlus had turned down my referral request without stating a reason.
I called my Primary at Heart of Florida on Wednesday, June 15th and they said that they had received no reply concerning the referral they sent in on June 10th.

Their doctors are fine is trying to call them and being on hold for an hour
and then hang up, and this is during a regular working day. I know these days the government is paying people more money for staying home and it does not pay to go to work.

I work for a medical office and called trying to get authorization for physical therapy. After being on hold for 30 minutes someone answers. I explain that I work for Dr. Smith and am trying to get physical therapy authorization for a mutual patient. The representative asked me if it was capitated or not. I told her that I am not sure what capitated means. Then she hangs up the phone...
How do people get away from this. I asked others in the office if they have had similar experiences. They all said that everyone that they talk to acts like they hate their job and don't want to talk to you.
If possible I would avoid this company for your health insurance needs.
Desired outcome: Fire staff that don't want to be there and treat patients and clients rudely

My wife and I both have the CarePlus Advantage Plan Insurance (CarePlus Health Plans, Inc.) . My wife went to our dentist (cleaning and check-up) and they took our plan, but I went later and was told they no longer were accepting the plan; because they had denied payment by the processing firm and when they called to find ot why. they would not accept calls. We called CarePlus and ask which dentist were on the list . They gave us one about 20 miles from our home, we called and they said the took CarePlus, set an appointment, we went and when we got there we were told they they no longer accept CarePlus.
My wife was having some back problems and ask our primary care Dr.if he would give an ok to try a chiropractor, he fillled out the form for using the chiropractor. They filed the claim, and on the next vist we were told they no longer would take CarePlus because they were denied payment.
From what I see, CarePlus is probably using outside companies to process its claims and their policy is deny, deny and deny.
