I bought ONIDA 21" KY THUNDER Television 3years back. On 25.09.2007, a technical snag developed in the T.V.. The local sales centre at Chandigarh was informed and the engineers of the company visited us on 26.09.2007. After inspecting the T.V., they informed that S.T.R. is damaged and needs replacement. Cost of replacement of the part was estimated at Rs.600/- (including labor). They told that since the part was not available with them, they will get it from the company and replace it. After about a month they told us that the part has arrived and the T.V. should be sent to Customer Care Centre for testing of the S.T.R.

When after two three days I enquired about the status of the T.V. on phone with one Mr. Jaswinder, they told me that the estimate charges come to Rs.2500/- as they have changed the I.C and some other part also. But the same was not brought to our notice before changing.

Now they are insisting on payment of the charges before delivery of the television set. Even after two months of the defect in the T.V., the company's service centre is not able to set the product in the working condition.

If such type of service is provided by a so called reputed company, then people should stop buying the ONIDA Products

The same problem is facing by me & no proper authories are there is in nagpur to answer for the problem & from last 15 days getting only 1 answer [it will take 2 - 3 day) I request Customer pls do not go for ONIDIA.

it should be done as a consumer movement

to start with the govt.body should tell the company to replace the set if the company is not able to rectify the defect.
if taken for repairs the company should provide an alternative set to view the tv programme and thus the consumer is not deprived of his entertainment and hardship,mental agony etc.
the company should be made responsible for repetition of such defects and if repetition observed they should replace the set free of cost.

I purchased a 21" Onida TV from Big Bazar, Kolkata on 27.05.2005. Since last three months, a fault has developed at the the power circuit of the TV. I failed to locate the Onida TV service centre adddress at Kolkata. As a result the is not woring since last three months.

iam purchase onida tv last sex month back.puchase TMC Music Centre in tirupati city. So Onida tv 8 month so mamy problems.
Today my tv is pblem.not power supply.pls re place ment .

i have purchased 29inches CRT TV from E-Zone Shopping Centre after4 months a tv self shutdown after this i called to the service centre for repair the engineer said me that problem in the motherboard we have to replce and it will take two weeks because we will give request to the bombay headoffice . after 45 dayswhen i called to service centre there Mr.Amol Sen said that mothrboard has not came from the and still i can't got any result ..This type of service if he gives to yhe customer then who will believe in your product and his service..

We at Royal Garden Resort, Near Vasai, Dist. Thane, Maharashtra have about 65 Onida Black 21” TVs. Previously we used to get good services from your service centre but since past few months the services are hopeless. About two weeks ago, we have lodged a complaint for 4-5 tvs, but till now it is unattended. Whenever we call the customer care we get the reply to call the service centre and when we do so the reply is it will be attended shortly, but of no use. We would like to bring this to your notice otherwise you will be spoiling your name and fame.
