they will ask you for hundreds of dollars to set up your site etc, ring you within a week wondering why you have not promoted your site. Ask you for thousands of dollars to take care of it all for you, and promise you training. then you will get a call from another dpt to transfer your debt to their credit card for a couple of thousand dollars, this includes registering your site as a US business and they will also protect your privacy. They do not tell you that your site will not progress, unless you hand over thousands of dollars and even then i cannot see any way of making money.

Hay there red_morlot,
wow you really have proved it to every one that they are just making there money of every one they get to suck in.
Sorry for your loss but i would suggest that you go to the bank and they should have there own fraud department that is there for this kind of crap, don't no what country your in but here in Aussie they do.
I almost got riped off but like with every email i get i google the name and or the product with the word scam in front and it brought me to this page, lucky i did but unlucky for other's.

To every one that may read this may also be getting emails sent with people trying to sell there products and some may be from those that are selling DVDs or Ebook's on how to make money on the Internet. It may be Affiliate marketing, pay per click programs, ebook's ect ect And so i asked myself if they can do it, how do they do it? So over the last ten days i have been searching all sorts of questions through google and have figured out how but learning the knowledge on implementing it all and learning how to work out the programs is something that i am still getting my head around. Like i said i found out how they do it by typing questions into google.
Thinking of creating my own blog page just to talk about this subject like this one, and there is a very good reason why not to only be able to direct people to the right web sites to get all the information but also..to be continued let you no when i get it up.

I Googled OnlineHostingNetwork while I was listening to their audio presentation on the phone. Have read through most of the comments here. Sounds like nobody has had any success at all, and this company is simply out to take your money. After the audio presentation the dude on the phone told me he had another client on the line (poor schmuck) and he would call me back. I'm waiting for his call now, and I think I'll just ask him to explain how all these people have been signing up and paying their hard earned money...yet have no results (well...not true entirely..one of the comments said she had earned $9 so far!)

Everybody should do their due diligence and investigate before they ever sign up for anything. I'm glad I found this site (and others with similar complaints).

Ok...update with my case.
I I called on wednesday and left a voice mail mesage as well as an email. Didnt hear back. I called/emailed again Thursday with the same outcome.
Friday I was super busy and didnt get time to worry with them. Last night (friday night) I didnt bother with a call and just left an email saying 'PLEASE RESPOND TO ME!"
anyway, this morning I wake up to this email...

"This has been submitted for you and someone will be in contact with you within 24-48 business hours- If you have questions Please feel free to give usa call"

GRRRRRRR...So I got on the phone and called, Spoke to a 'Pete'. I said I have been trying to get in touch since wednesday...all i got was a sorry, its just the time difference...ppppft.
Long story short i have to wait until tues-wed for a "Gary Minor" to call me regarding this THEN it will be transferred to the accounts dept.
I then said "how long will a refund take' he said he couldnt answer that. Next I asked him how long he'd been working with the company and he said 5 years. So I said " You've been with ohn for 5 years and you cant tell me how long a refund takes...noone has ever asked you?" He then goes "its a matter that the accounts dept deal with"
GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR...

Next I told him about the hundreds of bad reviews Ive read online and he said well there are also hundreds of good reviws as well. I asked him to show me where and he said that the ones who have good businesses dont have time to get online to forums such as this one...their too busy running a business...pfft!

I guess I'll see what happens Tues/wed. What do ya do with people like this?

TO rajkidd
and every one els
ON phone numbers, not knowing what country your from here are all the numbers depending where you are.
Perhaps if you Google onlinehostingnetwork.com you will see the home page and you will notice that there are different numbers beside the AU, US, UK they have been taken from the home page, different to the ones that they email you with the extensions.
I would suggest that you phone the numbers on the home page because they would be the ones that would be selling the product rather than phoning the numbers with the extension as they may be the ones that are told to ooh i don't know maybe string the customers along to the point that they may give up who knows but anyway try the numbers and keep us posted

A guy called "Everett Squire" contacted me about joining their service. He played the tape and almost had me convinced enough to part with $99 via PayPal but I didn't really have that much disposable cash available. So when he started asking me to log into my account to send him the money I told him that I wasn't at my computer, he said he'd wait to see if it went in that night. Later that night he called but I didn't answer (I just couldn't be bothered) so he left a message questioning my seriousness (they do this to make you feel like you're missing out). He called a few more times, which I ignored, then left a message saying I obviously wasn't serious and that he wouldn't be calling me again. THANK GOD!

I don't know how these people can sleep at night, knowing they are ripping off innocent people trying to make a better life for themselves.

and here is another ohn sucker who has been trying for the last 6 weeks, thats 6 weeks past my 90 days, to get my money, $2600 australian, and i am now contacting the ACCC in australia, the FBI in the usa and just for good measure i may do some negative ads on australian talkback radio. I don't know how iy is in the usa or great britain but in australia our radio announcers have a lot of clout so instead of complaining here lets open our mouths and tell our populations the name of this mob of crooks and just maybe the law will hear us as well. PS before you do go through all of these complaints and record the names of the callers and just maybe someone in PHOENIX ARIZONA will say hey, i know one of them and call the FBI and put OHNout of our misery for good.

"ATTENTION"
John in aust,
I'm with you mate I'm in Australia to and your right about the radio and also ACA on TV are good at it too
I am sorry to here that you got riped off with that amount and i wish you all the best and am willing to speak out about that and a lot of other scams the ones that you get emails sent to you offering ways to make millions if you buy a DVD.
i could go on and on here but if you log on you can send me a message and let me know if you want to chat on the phone and i will send you a reply with my mobile number.

If any one else who has suffered the same here in Australia and wants to do the same they are welcome.
I also think that the numbers have the power and those from other country's should do the same.
Like i have stated in other posts that i have posted in here i have not been riped off buy them because i came here first.

So why do i want to help you may ask, its simple i have compassion for the fellow human being when it comes to being "taken for a ride" "being chewed up and spat out" or how ever Else you want to put it.
I am stuck at home and cant work and so for the last two months i have constantly been on the net searching answers to all the questions i have been asking day and night and at the moment i am getting all the information together to make a blog like this one where i will give out all the information and a lot of good information to.
cheers.

I am another one who was scammed but I didn't wait the 90 days. I emailed them and told them I wanted a refund because they misrepresented themselves. Today I received an email asking me to contact them. I told them I wouldn't because I had put it my credit card providers hands.( I HAD RANG MY PROVIDER AND SAID THEY SCAMMED ME) A woman ended up ringing me and ask me to explain how her company had misrepresented themselves. It was hard to get a word in egdeways so I hung up on her. She rang back and said we were disconnected, I informed her that I had hung up and had had enough of her. She told me I would only get my set up fee back but not the $1194Us because this had been spent on advertising. Crap. She also informed me that my bank would discuss it with her bank and that I would lose out. She said it was all on tape and I said what was not on tape was a different story. She all but told me I was a liar. So I told her to go to hell and hung up again. I then sent an email to them saying if she had not talked over the top of me I would have told her they wetren't the only one's who taped calls. How do you think I stand?

These people at OHN must have absolutely no morals at all.How can they not see that their little game is up.I had another call from them today trying to get more money. So far i have made zero and they say if i give them more money they will train me to do the marketing better.I told the bloke i would rather burn the money and then he says that if i had another credit card its just a matter of paying it off with the PROFITS, ha ha, from the site and when i told him that i have cancelled my credit card he just gave up and hung up, so maybe now i can just get on with my life and put this behind me as a very expensive lesson. PS. I have informed the AUST.FEDERAL POLICE and the FBI about these people so maybe the law can help us.

Hey Guys,
Update on my OHN saga...
I spoke to an Alex, and he first offered to only refund me the initial purchase of $188...I absolutely cracked it at him and I want all of it back ($1700 AUD). He said we can only repay you the $188 and nothing more as all the advertising money has been spent.
I then reminded him that his customer rep, Josh said I will be refunded the training package if I wasn't satisfied, which I clearly wasn't!
He then offered something called a pro-rate, where I can get $625 back+ the $188. I cracked it a bit more and told him to put himself in my shoes and think about what he would do after handing over $1700 to a company that has eventuated into nothing. He said no again and offered me the same deal, I said no I want $1000+the $188...and he agreed, I probably could have kept going, but I was so sure i wasn't going to get my money back, I accepted his offer.
Although i didnt get all my money back, I'm glad I atleast managed to get most of it back. But he said it won't be processed till the 15th...as far as I'm concerned it's not resolved till my money is in my bank account...will keep you guys posted...But I think polite-firmness is key and telling them to stop and listen to your situation, also using guilt as well generally helps soften them up. Try hard to not call them a scam as well,

Also something to consider is to contact the better business bureau, who have dealt with them before and they are an american association (google them)
But good luck the rest of you

Wow, I'm really surprised by the number of Aussies on here that have been so negatively affected.
I had received a call from ohn and it sounded legit. Although I told the guy - David Grey - that I wasn't able to afford it until payday. He's supposed to call me back next wk. I think I'll stick with my day job for now!
One thing I want to point out is that if you earn even $1 you WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE FOR YOUR REFUND! They say that they will provide a refund if you don't make ANY money after 90 days.
Even if it is legit, I'm glad I found out that they will harass you for more money! I was thinking, it wouldn't be too bad if it was only $107 (which he reduced it to after I said I didn't have $162) but if they end up taking thousands more off my card then I'm staying clear!
Luckily there are sites like this to warn us!
PS. I like the apology posted here by ohn! They didn't even address our concerns, but ask us to contact them!

I just had a call from "Slick Jim Garity" and listened to him and about half the audio while I Googled OHN and found this site. I hung up the phone as soon as I'd read a couple of your postings.
One thing I'd like to say is that you really need to take responsibility for your actions whatever they may be. Handing over your credit details is a recipe for disaster.
There are legitimate opportunities available if you just keep looking.
I'm a distributor for a company that produces natural pain relief, weight loss products etc, and I trialled the products for about 6 months before deciding to become a distributor. I'm also in control of all my own advertising, I have fantastic feedback from my customers, I know the products work and I believe the company and the products are legitimate and ethical.
You have to do your homework! Nuff said.

I am very displeased and disheartened with the lack of exposure that my website has. It is virtually impossible to grow the business with ZERO exposure. Given that, this is my last attempt to grow my business.

I am marketing my website at the moment it does take time so don't give up. I am using twitter to get exposure. If you ask your trainer they can explain how it works. I also am using hootsuit this allows you to send tweets for you. I am finding twitter is working but maybe getting on facebook and joining groups where people looking for jobs would be. All marketing is explained towards the end of the training. Also I had a look at your website and I wasn't sure what country you are aimimg at ? This really important for people to know.

Hi all. This site has been crucial to me. I recieved a phone call from Jim early this morning and he really did try a hard sell. I heard the audio clip online and got on the web as well while he was on the phone. I was reticicent and dont like to make hasty decisions but he kept pushing me..even to the point where he wanted to talk with my husband. That was the last straw for me. If I cant discuss something properly with my husband after nearly fifty years of marriage Im certainly not capable of entering into any sort of business for myself.

I just had a feeling. I told him I was not going to commit then and there. He spoke (spruked) for one hour. AS soon as he hung up I got online and found this site. Im just so grateful. I wasnt sure about anything, just had a gut feeling.

So, I just want to thank you all for your contribution to thie site. Its certainly opened my eyes and stopped me in time...although I dont really think I would have commited. But, if they had rung me again I dont really know...so thanks everyone.

I hope that you all get recomense for your outlay. I hate to read that anyone is subject to this sort of internet thuggery...

I will come back to this site and keep up to date. REgards to you all...judych aust

OHN is definitely a scam - none of the callers have any concience and will all hard sell you for a bigger & better package to get that massive traffic you are missing out on!

Do not get involved in any way what-so-ever. You are better off making a donation to Red Cross or a similar charity and get a tax deduction for it! Either way, you are giving your money away!

Do not get involved with them.

About 3 months ago i wrote a comment here and since then i decided to find out what scams are out there. The trouble is if your a newbie you don't no where to look. It's only until you get riped off or scammed in some way then you either give up until you can afford to try again or you give up completely. I decided not to give up so instead i spent months searching the web for all my answers to all the questions i had regarding scams.
I then put it all together and now have a web site and i explain a lot more about what there is to know and really that's just the start.

http://www.webspawner.com/users/dynerman/index.html

I also have a WordPress web site blog where your welcome to leave a comment.

http://freethenewbie.com/blog

Both sites are only new there are no AdSense ads or any other type of ads even Affiliate ads. This is because there are a lot of other thing's i am working on, learning, experiencing and creating.

I am an Australian and i just hate it knowing that most of the money that is being made from the Internet marketing affiliate programs and or companies are being made from newbies, beginners anyone that is starting out falling sucker to what ever it is they have to offer. You get excited about it all and then you buy the program or buy into the company but have no clue and realising you have to have some kind of computer head to understand it all.
Whether it works for you or not either way they have made money from you.

I just got off the phone with a ohn rep. He outright lied to me when I asked if there was any expense associated with the marketing of my business ("The only additional expense after the purchase of your package is the $19.95 annual hosting fee."). Then after I listened to the whole song and dance, I said I needed to do more research before I committed and bought a package. He got all sulky (after being very charming and smooth the whole time), and said "Well I know you're not going to call back but here's my direct number, [protected], extension 2237."
I've had plenty of experience with sales pitches, and the tactic I hate the most is the high-pressure, you-have-to-buy-now sell (the "limited time offer" tactic). If a salesperson doesn't want to give you time to independently research the product he's selling you, ask yourself "Why not?" There's never a good reason.

so true so true..i filled the home based business online, got a call withheld number and went through listening to the video and all, i told the guy to let me think about it but rather he offered me a discount of $99, when i still insisted i have to sleep on it he got very agitated and pushy...mmmm alarm ringing in my head as he kept asking for my credit card details! Wel he said i would lose a great opportunity and this one chance but i was also very adamant because i thought with the way he was pressing for my card details i had better checked them out and thank God, voila!, they are BIG TIME SCAMMERS and i have not received a call from them since.

Thank God - better safe than sorry. Thank u all for sharing your experiences otherwise a lot of people like me out there will be scammed out of even the little we have in trying to make ends meet.

Goodluck y'al.

OMG! wish I'd found this site last month... Stupidly I paid not only the 'special' $99 set up... then I get a call from Robbie...asking for $2500.00...what did I do? Went against my gut reaction and paid it over...stupid stupid stupid!... Had a missed call from a supposed trainer called Randy... with a name like that... what did I expect. He missed out the numbers for Australia on the first call and sent me an email saying to call his 1800 number. I sent an email with country calling codes on and he finally got through. We arranged a training date but before that I got a call from 'Frankie Peterson... telling me he wanted to talk but he had his son to pick up! Then I said I would not be around so he decide to try to 'UP SELL me to another $5000! package. When I determinedly said no... wanting to see what I got for my 2599 in total... he put the phone down. Finally Randy...the 'trainer, called to say he could not schedule a training date til 2nd November... these are supposed to be weekly and as yet... in 4 weeks...I've not had one!

Finally after RANDY sent an email, after I sent him one complaining about 'no'training... he replied and called me Veronique! I blasted back an email and said the name is MARY... and he called immediately. I am now scheduled with another trainer, named Chris, for this coming Tuesday...God only knows!
I can't see my web page being any use as it only relates to American Sites and this was one of the criteria I objected to before I paid all the money that I can not afford to lose. Apparently 'a Trainer' can tell you how to do this but it seems to me that they try to get you past the 90 day period (and whats this clause "proof of advertising'? ) to get your money back. As the only people I have actually had a conversation with is the 'UP SELLERs"... Josh Nancarrow, Robbie Who ever and Frankie Peterson ...

I've contacted my credit card people and printed this web complaint page out... instructions to the card services...no way do I agree to any more payments to MYADMINSPACE or anyone in the USA! If I don't get my money back... OR see that 'Gauranteed RETURN of earings... there is going to be blood on the walls...and it won't be mine! Mary OZ
