they will ask you for hundreds of dollars to set up your site etc, ring you within a week wondering why you have not promoted your site. Ask you for thousands of dollars to take care of it all for you, and promise you training. then you will get a call from another dpt to transfer your debt to their credit card for a couple of thousand dollars, this includes registering your site as a US business and they will also protect your privacy. They do not tell you that your site will not progress, unless you hand over thousands of dollars and even then i cannot see any way of making money.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Hi Lili... Sounds like you are winning, It took a month to get my money back but they only refunded what I stupidly agreed to. I got the rest back from my credit card company. So all in all I haven't lost that much and I have learnt a lot. Keep going Girl and thanks for your greetings... Have a fabulous 2011 !
What did you have to do to get the credit card involved into this? Please let me know when you have a chance.
Thanks a million! And you have a great 2011 also!
I called visa and they gave me a different story each time.
First they put me through to the fraud department who told me to told me that they would check out the company to see if it was really a scam or not.
Next time I called Visa they told me to call myadminspace and try to cancel. I did but I don't think I was clear enough because I did not get confirmation from the myadminspace that they had.
I called Visa a few days later and was put over to the dispute department who told me to e-mail myadminspce and tell them that I did not want their services any longer and to stop debiting my account and to send my money back. Visa then had me fax a copy of this e-mail to them. I am now waiting to see what happens.
Visa told me it would take a couple of weeks to see any results. Fingers crossed.
Thank You for the info, I will dealing with this because I don't think these people are trustworthy at all. But I want to wait a little and see if I hear anything from the BBB. Not long tough. In any case, Thank you, and I will keep you informed...
BBB contacted me and they will mediate, also asked that if there is any contact from OHN to inform BBB... We'll see what happens...
BBB need to know how many more of you have been scammed since I reported OHN back in October 2010. when I complained I sent this website with a scanned page of complaints. They said there was nothing more they could do for me but, if they had any more complaints they would take them (OHN) to a higher government department. Suggest you send an updated page with all the new complaints since October 2010. I got most of my money back from OHN and the rest, the Credit cards took off my account as disputed transactions..but would you believe...still getting phone calls for 'working from home opportunities', ... I just tell whoever is calling that I'm not the person they need to speak to and ask them to hold...while I just leave the phone on the bench...!
They are paying for the call... eventually, they hang up... but i'ts still costing them money...ha ha. not so many calls any more! good Luck Lili... bombard BBB with everything you have. Happy New Year.. Mary Oz...
Got in touch with the Arizona Attorney's General Office, sent them a message and now I'm waiting to hear from them. Who knows... But I'm not holding my breath too long. I may have to take the $6, 000.00 and run. I give it till the middle of next week or so...
Yesterday I spoke with a man called John Marvin and I signed up with him for the Basic package for 149.00US. I can log into my back office and everything worked fine. I have my website up and running, but I'm really wondering if I own it or not. I want to integrate more options into my website but the designs are limited. They are all cookie cutter website builds. Is there anyway I can claim this website away from this company? I don't expect my money back. Apparently, you can do associate marketing with Amazon.com for free. All you have to do is get a free account with amazon. If any one wants to start up a website, they can do it for way cheaper than 149 dollars. I suppose they are considering their simple cookie cutter build websites as their products. I do not plan to spend anymore on this website. All I want is my domain name back without them interfering. Can someone help me?
Oh and thank goodness I used paypal with them. I'm sure they could charge more on my credit card if they had it.
I told them I wasn't comfortable with that over the phone.
You had better be quick and get away as fast as you can and as you are bound to get more phone calls from the ohn unlisted number just remember ONE thing, DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, GIVE THEM ONE CENT MORE.
Are there any consequence for not picking up their phone calls or did what Mary OZ did up there?
Anyway of getting my domain name back?
You will make their day if you only want your domain name and all it takes is for them to give you the pin number and you have the domain but you will have to speak to ohn about it but if you will take some free advice I advise you to do a lot of research into affiliate marketing before you take it on because unless you are a lot better at computers than me and also have a lot of spare time to spend marketing your product.I know from personal experience that everything ohn has told you about how easy it is to make big money in affiliate marketing is nothing but absolute [censor] because if it was so then ohn would be doing it and not scamming us out of our money.
Please! Whatever you do, DO NOT SIGN WITH THEM! TOTAL SCAM, then it is hard to get your money back. They will tell you what you want to hear and then, good luck! Please don't get involved with them!
I had a site with OHN and stayed with them, advertised like crazy, spent all I had and went mainly without food to try and make money. They called me not Jim it was a younger person to only offer me another site as I had done so well with the first site and asking me for more money. Well I am on a pension and like the other person mentioned they refund you after 90 days alright. Out of a thousand dollars later and they still wanted more money from me, I called them and they said they would refund the money $180 AU out of $1000+ was what I received. At least it is leaving me money to buy food again, feel that this company has ripped me off well. It took me years to try and save the money in the first place, it's not a matter of easy come easy go. It's my personal hard money it took to save this in the first place, and as I had checked the internet everywhere but could not find anything on them. I felt I could finally trust an online business, well guess what ' I am back to I don't trust online businesses'. As Jim from Australia, because they are in Pheonix they call us Aussies as early as 7am WAUT. Sylvia Australia.
I hate this company with a passion, I contacted BBB, ArizonaAG, FBI, Federal Trade Commission, I'm trying to get my hard earned money back, thankfully its only been 2-3weeks since i stupidly signed on but they messed with the wrong guy. I will not stop until I see the people burn for the headache they just caused me.
This bonehead that advertises on Complaints Board must be one of ohn's success stories, just like the clown who supposedly works in their office and sells fish tanks.
My Name is Doreen QLD I also was approached from OHN from a Hotmail advertisment January 2010 I received many phone calls and after 12 months being with this company have only received $12.99
and that was supposed to have come from a interest payment.
I, m afraid to say yes I have been ripped off so Please if they ring HANG UP I paid up to $4, 500 for online Training and prepaid Emails send out after having at least 20.000 hits to my site still nothing I now have given up on a lesson learned no longer do I listen to any one that phones me for bank details or emails scams
Hi All
Just been contacted By a rep from online-hosting-network I wish i looked here first, could have saved some time. This person was trying the old trick buy it now cheaper and save a few 100. wanted me to put him on hold whilst i spoke with the wife did'nt want me to ring him back. If i were to end the call now and call him back later i would the cost 3 yime the amount. I told him that this was pressure selling and said i would not be taking up this so called offer and put the phone down on him.
Glad I did.

Hi Kevin, What country are they targeting now?
Lol management keeps contacting me and not talking to the Arizona BBB to "resolve issues". I keep telling Arizona BBB that they are still contacting me (supposedly they are suppose to contact Arizona BBB first prior to trying to contact me). Everyone do yourself a favor, report this company if your are a part of it, and if not...DO NOT GIVE THEM A CHANCE TO SPEAK! just hang up and tell them to shove it
I'm wondering if I have to pay for the calls when they call. I've been just leaving the phone on for like a minute when they call.
Please confirm that I don't have to pay.
you never know with these people. My way is that the only phone number that they have of mine is my mobile number and for a while now I have had their unknown number recorded and so if my phone rings and it says ohn I just ignore them.
I've lately had some calls from another suspicious outfit called THE HOME WEBSITE CENTRE and you get the same yank accent and all of the same too good to be true offers but instead of being like ohn and trying to rip you off on one website, this new crowd tries to sell you 10 or more so they can get maximum dollars out of you and if you happen to look on their website you will see the greatest load of crap products on the planet that you are expected to sell for them.
they're still in australia... i just got scammed
Can you guys show us the websites that you bought that aren't working for you so we don't buy the same thing?
Just don't give any of your details such as email address or phone number to any of these work from home scams until you at least google them but if you'll take my advice, just stay away from anything that is trying to sell websites for affiliate marketing because my own experience tells me that unless you have money to burn the only person that makes money is the scammer.
I believe that online hosting network is a scam. I paid $377US for a web page and next I was contacted to pay between $2500 to $5000 to go the next step. I told the caller that there was no mention from them previously that I needed to pay more money. I told this caller that I would discuss it with my partner and that I would not commit any more funds without more research. This guy was very pushy and down right rude. He got nothing out of me. I looked them up on the net and found this site and I realised that I was not alone. OHN have been ringing me nearly every day and several times a day but I ignore the calls. The web site I payed for has now disappeared from the internet. I know I will never get my money back and you will never get rich with this scheme but OHN are the ones who get rich at your expense.
Lou - Australia
there must be some recourse for you if the site that you paid for has disappeared.. surely. Have you emailed them on it?
Im just so glad that i didnt get caught up in it all. I had one phone call that lasted for an hour and when i said no that was it. They tried to make me feel guilty and pressure me but i wasnt giving in. REading all these posts have made me realize just how lucky i was that i didnt get involved.
its certainly made me more vigilant. YOu cant trust anyone out there... its very sad.
I did have another call from a person on the mainland australia, but it short shiftend him as well. I will continue to do that.. andi havent clicked onto any sites that are remotely to do with online hosting... They are doing so much damage to sites that may be genuine... anyway, i do hope that you get some resolve out of all of this. If you paid for your site, you are entitled to use it...
The only way you might get your money refunded, in part anyway, is to do the same as others go through your bank or credit card provider, and do what I did.Let the bank know that ohn is a scam and ask the question, why don't the banks refuse payment to ohn when a payment request is made by them?It is my opinion that ohn operates on the idea that whatever salesperson gets the money out of one of us suckers gets the money straight into their account and in that way it makes it nigh on impossible to get a refund because the funds are gone before the bank can do anything about it.
If you were to count the number of complaints and the number of people who have contacted the Arizona BBB, FBI and so forth in the USA and the AFP, ACCC, BANKS and Mastercard/Visa/Diners etc the numbers are out of this world and yet ohn is still in operation and is still scamming and if there is someone out there who knows someone in Law Enforcement then get them on here to tell us how we can cause the immediate demise of scammers like ohn for good.
I have just had an hour long sales pitch trying to sell me a study course for over $5000 AUS. They promote it as a way to work on line but guarentee nothing except they will take a monthly fee. I am being hounded by Home Website Center, Concept Executions and Automated Home Profits who all seem to be the same company. There are a lot of complaints against them all. Yes, fool that I am, I did sign up for the 10 web sites that is money I dont think I will get any return from. Two other names came up: Pay Pal with mixed results and Yozons Technology. I am glad I decided to check it out and only sorry I didn't do it before I paid anything
I feel like such a fool! I also am a victim of these people who have forwarded my details to 2 additional companies (The Tax Club and Profit Sense Innovations) who also sold me packages that they said I needed to register a company in the US and get marketing for my website and set up business credit to relieve my personal credit card of the debt I have incurred (which is over $12, 000 AUD). I feel sick to my stomach and will be contacting the ACCC in Australia. If anyone has any advice about what I can do legally to get my money back I would be very grateful. Thank you, TM.
I am from New Zealand and i have been ripped off by online hosting network as well. i feel like a total idiot. i paid them $10000 usd and they wouldnt give me money back and its only been three weeks. He tried to give me more free advertising. I have gone to my bank as i paid it through my credit card so am hoping it can be resolved as i feel sick as well just thinking bout it. They seem to be targeting Aus and NZ at the moment. They basically told me all the complaints on this site are false and from competitors trying to rubbish them. Man i hope i get my money back.
Very grumpy here in Australia found this website last night far to late, I have spent also $4, 000 Aud with them to find that I cannot access my Admin page at home but can access my?Website, when at work on night shift I can access back office but not my Website strange! After adding an extra page to my site I found that Amazon Widget had been added but on looking at back office could not find codes added in banner section to get rid of it but widget still on site, it made me wonder who actually controls ?my site and are any sales if any are they being diverted somehow.I have tried the tracking and after being garanteed 1, 000 visitors and that yes I could make some reasonable money I have yet to make a sale from any affiliations, I have added and worked on ?my site now since December and now feel like a right royal sucker, I paid with Master card and this morning contacted the Fraud section of my bank Westpac and informed them of this site and these scammers, they are now looking into this and will contact me within 7 working days. Also strange that I received an email today from Stephen Reynes from NewYork to say OHN had contacted him to contact me as a my buisness consultant to assist me to make their guidelines and time frame.I will have no further dealings and will put my faith hopefully with my reputable bank and let them do their investigation as the commonwealth bank did for one of their customers about 235 days ago it took them 2 1/2 months but he got his money back, I will not even bother with OHN but leave to the relevant bank authorities as I am sure this scam has been flagged but they have failed in their duty of care not to stop these transactions happening and to alert their customers which would give them so much more customer support and show they care about their customers.Anyway waiting now patiently and feeling like a complete and utter fool.Fortunately have changed card number so no more can be taken, I will keep you informed of any progress.
Has anyone actually made any money through their website with Online Hosting Network? I have a website with them and I'm getting very frustrated at not making any money when I have put in so much work & time towards my website. I'm wondering whether I'm wasteing my time and should look elsewhere.
Denise
From everything i have read i dont believe so and interestingly i havent seen any reviews that are positive, it all comes down to a big scam. Also interesting that after i spoke to them yesterday to ask for my refund, as of this morning my site has been deactivated. That too me is definitley dodgey. Any legitimate company would not handle the situation this way.
Very grumpy here again be very carefull I have not contacted OHN and am leaving it up to my bank, as much as I can find out nobody has made any MONEY out of their sites, again I ? is it trully your site or can they divert sales or cover them and reap any rewards that you were hoping for? Also beware of Auto Click Profits, Home Web Site Centre, scam, scam, scam, Rapid Income Creator scam.I also amend the name of previous so called Buisiness adviser working for OHN as being Stephen Reyes not Reynes, of Empire State Building in NewYork, beware!.I will not comunicate anymore with any of them.If you truly want to affiliate market build, or have a Website built and and affiliate market yourself as plenty of companies out there that want your exposure they do not charge you as you are free advertising for them anybody who charges is now obviously a scam.PLEASE, PLEASE don't fall for these quick money deals as truly they are the only one's making, it taking our hard earned money or credit, money that we havn't even earned yet!.You can also join ieBook marking sites for free ieBookmark4you.com, Bookmarks.biz, Wowoption.com, Bookmark.com, Appliedstacks.com, then you can send out your promotions via them with your own KEY WORDS which you can Google for your promotions. There is NO QUICK WAY only time and effort and set a budget that is affordable to YOU, again these scammers are the one's making money PREYING on YOU!BEWARE and TAKE CARE! again I will keep you posted on my refund progress through my BANK.
High everone, surprise, surprise, my ?website has disappeared off the face of the NETWORKS only 2days after my BANK has started its investigations, also have had 3 phone calls from overseas that I did not and will not answer until I hear from my Bank, go BANK FRAUD SQUAD! My faith in my bank is being restored as I can actually now see something happening, starting to feel better by not just righting off that money and taking positive action that was only a phone call away. Will keep updating as it progresses.
Here I am reading about all the people that have signed up for this and I must say that I too have made a dreadfull mistake in having these people talk me into signing up and talk about the money I have given them $9000.00 on my Visa.
I am in the process of tring to get my money back but by all these complaints I have a feeling that I am sucking the hind tit and probably never get it back. I feel like such a fool I should have known better at my age of 61...
HI Adrian, dont give up. Go straight to your bank. They will be able to help you asap. Yes my website dissappeared the same night. I got a call from them this morning saying they will refund $3500USD and i said no. Talked to some guy called Bill. He then said his manager will ring me, which he did and i hung up. He then sent me an email saying to give him a call. I replied and said i will only correspond in writing. He replied saying they would prefer that the bank not get involved and will pay me $7500USD out of my $10000USD. I haven't replied. I have forwarded all the emails to my bank. Hope this helps.
Adriana sorry
Make sure you also go to the ASIC Scamwatch site and report it to them as well.
