Optimum RV Ocala - Awful So Called Business
Purchased RV from Optimum Rv Ocala on May 27. It is the end of August now and still dealing with this lying headache of a so called business. We have constantly been lied to. Constant cancellations from company for our walk thru. Constantly told by parts department that it was being worked on for one thing or another. End of July we told this so called business we wanted to cancel the deal because we still had not taken posession of the rv. Manager said he had turned it over to finance and they were cancelling our contract. This was a month ago! Nothing has been done. Optimum Rv will not return our calls or answer the phone.
Recommendation: I would advise anyone to stay away from Optimum RV.
I purchased my brand new camper in October
I purchased my brand new camper in October . I made a warranty list of items that were either not working, defective, or leaking. I took my camper in for the 6 month check-up in May, advised the service writer of the complaints and I was told that they would get back to me. ORV had to get warranty approval from the MFG that took over 2 months to get. I picked up my camper toward the end of July and went back to the RV Park. 2 weeks later, the kitchen slide out window started leaking. A technician was sent out to make the repairs, but stated a seal would need to be ordered. Then the roof started leaking. The cap screws that hold the roof together snapped off and water was leaking inside the camper. I contacted ORV in Ocala and was told this was a maintenance issue and not warranty. Someone told me that the Bushnell ORV facility was more tentative to their clients. So, I contacted the Bushnell office and took my camper to them on October 3rd. My camper is still there! It went to the Bushnell facility for the roof leak and the window leak. I was contacted around December 22nd to let me know my camper was ready for pick up. I went to the Bushnell facility on January 9th to pick up my camper and found that the roof was not even touched. It still had the temporary screws that I installed and the silicone. I have called 4 times since January 9th, and I am still waiting for someone to call me back.
I wish I could rate them negatively a hundred times. We purchased our rig nearly six weeks ago and, like many others, we've experienced the same issue of not being able to speak to the same person consistently, being shuffled from one advisor to another. After driving an hour and a half yesterday, we discovered our rig was not in a service bay as promised; instead, it was left outside, covered in dirt. Entering my rig, I was greeted by a mess everywhere and cans of food scattered on the floor that weren't ours. My rig had been left unlocked all weekend, giving the impression that someone had been using it for their own leisure. Six weeks have passed—six weeks of them supposedly preparing our rig. It's an absolute joke. The next time they hear from me, it will be through an attorney or with my bank representative concerning a loan for which I've already made a payment. I've paid for a year's worth of insurance and a year's worth of towing service. We've had to cancel one weekend already, and we have plans scheduled for the next three months. They feign phone issues to hang up on callers. With caller ID on every phone, they screen calls and send unwanted ones straight to voicemail. I'm at my limit; I refuse to be underestimated or to capitulate to these people, who I see as nothing but crooks. Each individual working there is complicit in this deceit. I am fully prepared to take all these grievances, along with my situation, to a lawyer. They've received their payment, but that rig is mine, and they don't get to decide how long they keep it. Optimum RV, your games are over with me. I'm finished. Six excruciating weeks have passed, and they've done absolutely nothing in terms of dealer preparation.
Everything was great until I signed the contract and paid a down payment. The sales manager, Andre, walked through the $200,000 motor coach with me and I identified several minor issues with it. When we returned to the office, he assured me he would take care of my concerns and would include oil, lube, and replacement of fuel, oil and air filters.
It took 17 days for Optimum to deliver the Coach, and they had not followed through with any of their promises. Andre had flat out lied to me. In the end, they cut the price $1000 for not replacing caulking that was promised and shipping me several items that they promised to fix or replace.
I was concerned about Andre and spoke to Josh in the service department. I explained to him what I expected and he said he would talk to Andre, but didn't follow through either. They may have saved a few hundred dollars, but earned a low rating for being a horrible RV dealership. Go anywhere else!
The Dealership in Ocala are CROOKS! They had my parents put down a Good Faith deposit of $5,000 for a fifth wheel contingent on a walk through. When they went and done the walk through they had damaged the fifth wheel removed items and didn't have anything to say besides begging that they wanted the chance to find them a new one with in the price range. No return call for days and then when going back for their deposit sense no fifth wheel was purchased they refused stating it was non refundable. This location takes advantage of older adults! BEWARE BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE!
Would like anyone who is purchasing from this company to read all fine print when sitting with the finance guys, they sold me a warranty that " covers everything from tires to roof , every thing from a child spilling cool aid on the floor. " this is a bold face lie, the warranty now only covers the mechanical parts. for the several thousand dollars extra I paid the warranty they sold me is not worth crap , on top of that the price they tell you the unit is when your with the sales guys are not the price when you buy, READ ALL FINE PRINT, they are snakes in the grass.

I wish I could give them minus a 100 Stars
I wish I could give them minus a 100 Stars. We bought our rig almost 6 weeks ago and like everybody else same story not talking to the same person you get change from one advisor to another, we drove an hour and a half yesterday, our rig was not in a service Bay like we were told, our rig was sitting outside filthy, I walked inside my rig filth everywhere and cans of food all over the floor that do not belong to us. My rig sat there all weekend unlocked, looks to me like somebody's just having a grand old time in there. This is 6 weeks 6 weeks they've had our rig dealer prepping. It's a f*** joke. The next time they hear from me will either be with an attorney or with my representative from my bank on a loan I've already made a payment on. I've made a Year's worth of insurance I've paid a Year's worth of towing service, we've already canceled one weekend, we have them scheduled for the next 3 months. They pretend their phones aren't working so they can hang up on you. They have caller ID on every phone so if they don't want to talk to you they send you to voicemail. I'm done I'm not a force to be reckoned with I'm not going to give in to these people, they're nothing but criminals every single one of them that works there is a f*** criminal. I have no problem with all of these negative remarks taking all of this with my situation to an attorney. They got their money that's my rig they don't decide how long they have it. Optimum RV I ain't f*** playing with you anymore. I'm done. Six f*** weeks and they've not done a thing, dealer prep six weeks.
I can't even give this place any stars but for the sake of this information, I have to give it one. My family and I were in the market for a class A motorhome and we went to purchase it from Optimum RV Ocala and we were there all day and when we decided which one was great for us, we started the process of paperwork. It was the end of the day and we had to go because we live an hour and a half away. We signed the paperwork for the bank and we were to finish the paperwork when we went to pick up the RV. I then received a phone call from Dominick at 6:50 in the evening (after hours aparently) and he proceded to tell my wife in 2 minutes that we needed to pay more a month and that we need to drink less star bucks so we can afford more per month. Why would someone call and tell us how manage our money? NEXT we try to call back and another team member put me on hold until the automated system came on saying they were closed so I couldn't even talk to anyone. Well, then I called the next morning right when they opened and it took me almost 4 hours to talk to a manager. The manager proceeded to tell me that we signed the document for a 20 year loan, which the other manager were dealing with told us the Motorhome was to old for a 20 year loan and we would need to go for a 15 year loan and that's why our monthly payment had to go up. He then proceeded to tell me that it was just how they do business and how they process things. The customer service and the misrepresention and disclosure on the process absolutley sucked. I will NEVER purchase something from any location of Optimum RV and I highly recommend staying away from this business. They are all cheaky and sneaky.
They took my money on July 22 and said I would be able to pick it up the next week. It is going on three weeks. Still no phone call back, no information, they have my deposit and the monthly payment on a rv that I have never had in my possession is about to come up. Worst customer service.
If I could leave 0 stars I would. I really can't believe this place is still in business honestly. Let me start by saying I live an hour and half away. Found a camper online I wanted with the price of $21,000. Called and was told they had it on the lot but not for that price. Guy told me he would talk to manager since that's the price it was showing online, manager says yes. A day or 2 later I make the trip over. Camper isn't there and that price was for a cheaper model blah blah blah. I was told they could order it and it would be there within 3-7 days. Ok that works. After running my credit 6 times and then going from the $21k price to almost $30k I should've just left but my wife was set on this camper. I gave a cash deposit and went ahead with it. 2 weeks later and me calling and calling I was told the camper would be there on Saturday and I could come Monday to get it. I call Monday because I don't want to drive that far for nothing and of course I get the run around. No one calls me back. The next day I find out the camper isn't even there yet and I'm honestly not sure if they even ordered it at this point. Spoke to the manager Ricky who told me he doesn't see a problem with any of it. Finally that Friday he says it'll be there and we have an appointment at 1 to get it. They misplaced my cash deposit and we didn't get it until after 5 that day! We had a trip planned since we thought we would be out of there by 2 or so. Right before we did the walk through someone hit the steps with a golf cart so now they are bent a crooked and no one offered to do anything or even tell us. The worst part of everything was that when leaving the guy hooking up the camper to the truck didn't good it up properly and it came off truck while going OVER. A BRIDGE! Scariest thing ever! We were stuck in the lane holding up traffic because it's a bridge and we couldn't get over. Luckily there's still nice and helpful strangers in the world. I would NEVER recommend this place! Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. It has been nothing but stress dealing with these people. The crazy thing is there are so many employees that work there this shouldn't be happening so much but they obviously just don't care especially once you spend money.
on 8/26 I went to Optimum RV to look at a 2010 Itasca 25t . I was unable to drive it as the key was either lost or broken depending on who I spoke to. And they needed to call out a locksmith. During the course of filling out paperwork I asked 3 times if I could back out if something came up (my mother was with me and also heard this conversation) I was told yes up until I took possession of the RV. On 8/30 I left a message for the salesman that I wanted to cancel the sale due to several personal reasons . I got a vague reply that he would talk to his manager. I went there 8/31 and spoke to the finance manager and was told that because I had signed one of the many papers ,I had indeed taken possession and couldn't back out , I feel this was a very shady business practice and want to cancel my sale as I have not taken possession nor even gotten the keys let lone driven it.
Worst dealer ship ever!
Worst dealer ship ever! Completely lied to us the ENTIRE TIME. We were looking at a 2010 Tiffin we are from Iowa and we were looking at a diesel pusher and asked several times is the engine in the bank because the door to the Tiffin was located on the side not the front passenger. We were looking at the exact same Tiffin and the other Tiffin was $20,000 cheaper because it was called a FRED- which means the diesel motor is located in the front and is extremely loud! We did not want this we were specifically wanting a Diesel pusher not one located in the front. This is our first purchase of a motor home and we were lied to the entire time by this dealer ship that the diesel motor was in back. When purchased plane tickets, had to rent a car to get there to pull into the dealership to take it for a drive. The motor was located in the front and it was the loudest drive ever! We were then told by "Spamky" Adam *** that "all diesel rvs are loud and this was no different" we then said let's drive a "true diesel" pusher and when we did it was quite and exactly what we wanted. Now keep in mind we spend $1000 to fly down, $600 on a rental car to get to the location, and now we can't get a flight back till Friday which means hotel cost and the flight back. This is over a $3000 cost to us to be LIED to about an RV we flew down, have a cashiers check in hand, went through all the work to get a loan and they refused to make any other deal to help us. I will be filling a law suite and would highly recommend NOT dealing with this company who has to lie to get deals done. Worst dealership ever!
We have called numerous times and left messages NO RETURN CALL! You ask for a manager they don't pick up the phone, you leave vm, they do not call back. They were in such a hurry to sell me something then take my deposit then it is one excuse over another. BUYER BEWARE! They have had my 500.00 Deposit since May. I was told they were refunding it immediately. July 1st no return and no return call. They don't deserve a star, the worst customer service from ALL Departments! How are you still in business? Oh I know, you don't return the deposits.
Poor service to the point of they don't care. I had a tire blow out on my 5th wheel trailer that did some damage to the skirting and electrical harness to my slide out. On my way back to Florida on October , after tire change and resecured wire harness and went to Optimum RV where I bought this trailer back in 2019, figuring they are authorized dealer for this manufacture, which they are and they were right on our way to our final destination. I filed a claim with my insurance company they agreed to have Optimum fix it. Made the appointment to be fixed in May, only because of a job commitment I had that required my living arrangement to be my trailer. Optimum agreed and would have parts ordered and ready for May 1st, appointment. The slide out worked after they inspected it. Each and every month there after I kept contact with them and my insurance to make sure all were on the same page. Sometime in early April I have no contact with original rep at Optimum, after making several attempts to contact, weeks later I called and was connected to a different rep that was taking over and reassured me everything was still in order. I dropped off the trailer on April 28th for the appointment. My insurance called me and told me all documents they needed still had not been received from Optimum. Any way after making several calls between optimum and my insurance through the next couple of days still resulted with Optimum not doing anything to the trailer, in fact it had sat on their grounds for over a week and half not plugged in and in a mud pit. Found it this way when I picked it up, only after the service manager said that we would have a conference call with me and insurance rep on what or why repair had not proceeded. That was supposed to happen Thursday May 13th, by 6 that evening no call, not even a reach out to explain why it didn't occur. I called Optimum, Friday in the am, told the rep I'm picking up my trailer and will get fixed elsewhere, I had to leave for another job committment, no inter action with service manager and no apologies from anyone. Got my 500 deposit back and left. Not even worth a half star.
Luckily for my wife and I, our salesman was amazing. Started the journey in looking for a rig with Optima in Ocala on 07/06. He did everything in his best interest to find us a rig that best suited our needs. After 9 days we decided on a rig and set a day (07/17) to go do a walkthrough and pick it up. Later that evening on 07/16 a lady who I never spoke with called telling me she needed us there first thing in the morning 9:00 am to install the puck in the bed of my truck. Being I'm from Texas and it's a 960 mile drive, I had barely any time to succeed in that request however, my wife and I somehow pulled it off. We arrived there around 9:15 am and didn't understand why they needed 5-8 hours to install a puck that should only take about an hour and as I continued to question it I kept getting the ole fast talk run around. Now fast forward to 2:35 pm. My truck finally comes back and to my surprise, they literally took 5 plus hours on a simple 60 minute installation. Fast forward again to 6:35, after constant questioning. We finally got our walkthrough accomplished even though it was scheduled for 3 pm. Again, during the walkthrough the guy was a fast talker and extremely incompetent in 8/10 questions asked. As for their repair technician? The hack job repairs done on the rv's are a -6/10 at best. I asked him if he was going to fix the trimming he was working next to and in his response "uhm yeah". As we proceeded to walk the outside, the Home Depot technician comes out stating everything is finished as he locks the door. The guy giving us the walkthrough instantly starts to rush us to loading it up ending the walk right then and there. Hmmmm, wonder why? It's because the lazy scam artist didn't fix [censored]. Now... here's the kicker! For any and I mean anyone who reads these reviews. Please, if you buy from this place, do your own thorough inspections! I made the mistake in trusting this establishment and it bit me in the [censored]. As I'm driving back from Florida to Texas. The freaking axel breaks and almost causes a wreck. They spot welded the axel on the leaf spring with what looked like a toddler melted a crayon on. Never in my life, have I ever seen such a pathetic attempt of a weld in my life. To knowingly pass a weld that you know won't hold up on a 37' 15000 pound rv is unacceptable. Smh, this place doesn't care about selling you death traps that can not only harm you, but also others on the road. I advise everyone to steer clear of this grenade of a dealership.
Let me start out by saying Jessica is the only reason I'm giving this place 1 star. This could be lengthy. We had found a used trailer online (a 2019) on their lot and had a video tour with lots of information from Jessica throughout the entire time. THEN, things went south. The 5th wheel was online on RVTrader and their own dealership website for $51,999. When we started the ball rolling on it we were told they were giving us a deal because the price was wrong it was really $57,999. We said, ummm you aren't giving us anything...we are paying the price that you had it marked...sorry if your internet team messed up. Anyway, it took 4 days to get our financing through them (all the time they kept telling us we could only get 9.9%). When it came close to sealing the deal and heading down to SC from Ohio, Ed (in finance) tells us that if we buy their GAP insurance and extended service plan we could get 3% off our interest rate! What?!? Is that even legal? KEEP READING FOR MORE...we said no...we ended up getting our own financing locally through a credit union by us for the same low interest rate they were offering if we bought their plans. Fast forward to the day we went to buy the rig. The lot is a mess. The guy they give us to do our walk through knows nothing about the rig we were going to buy and my husband was showing him how to do things. The 5th wheel was on a hill and couldn't be leveled correctly with the automatic stabilizers because of it (they wouldn't move it to a flatter area). The rig was a mess. Not washed, not prepped, nothing. The black water valve was broken and leaking raw sewage onto the ground (they weren't going to fix it). The underbelly of the trailer was bulging almost a foot to the ground from water collecting in it (someone had poked a pinhole in it to drain the water...but supposedly no one knew about it). The trailer had to have been driven by a blind person with scuffs up and down both sides from hitting things. When these mechanical/structural issues were brought up to the service and sales managers they said used trailers are sold 'as is' and would not even entertain fixing anything. It would've been nice to know that before driving 8 hours to buy it! As we were driving out of the lot waiting for someone to open the gate, Jessica (the sales person) and a service manager tried to talk us in to letting them make it right. Too late. We ended up finding the same model a year older in Pennsylvania at a 'real' dealership and will be picking it up next week! Shame on Optimum...if you are going to sell an RV...and want to show it in it's best condition, don't put it on a hill...wash it...and fix what is glaringly wrong!

I called this dealership about a unit that they have. My daughter that was in the area went and looked at the unit for us since we are in Oklahoma. The salesman that was with her was really nice and they FaceTimed us so we could see the unit. After the virtual walkthrough, I spoke with the salesman and negotiated a price. He had the sales manager call me and the negotiated price was confirmed and they accepted my $5000 deposit and we talked about arrangements for picking it up once we return to Florida. My wife, children and myself were so excited to purchase the RV we had been looking for. 30 minutes later, the sales manager called back and said "I have great news. We can sale you the RV at the price we agreed on if you finance it, but if you really want to pay cash it will be $1000 more." I said that I didn't want to finance any. He then said, "well, let's meet in the middle at $53,000". To which I declined. I can't believe they did this to my family.
Awful business practices. We looked at an RV with Optimum in Ocala, Florida on 5/29. They agreed to a deal and we put $5,000 down. Once we left, they called the next day, 5/30, and said that the deal we signed wasn't the official deal, and that things had changed. Long story short, we decided not to purchase from them because we weren't interested in their new "real deal". Well, we backed out on 5/30 and 3 days later, they deposited the $5,000 check anyway ! We called and said we wanted a refund and that was REALLY poor business. We were told we could get a check from them yesterday or today 6/7-6/8. But, no. Now, they have cashed our $5,000 check and stopped returning our calls.
If there was an options for a negative star it would be my choice! I have never in my life dealt with such a horrible company. They lead us on for weeks and weeks leaving us without a place to live without a single care. You can never speak to the same person. One lie covers the next. We purchased a used Hurricane leaving a $5K deposit, the signing it's self should have been enough to make us run for the hills, with the forced high speed signing, lies about the storage contract and the fact that we were told, sure you can have an inspector come in BUT the delay moves you to the back of the line and you will never get the unit in 7 to 10 days. So we bit... we couldn't get the inspector there, we didn't have a choice our rig was sold we needed a place to live. We were scheduled to pick up the rig in 7 days. Then it started... one story after the other as to why we couldn't get the rig, sometimes crossing back over each other. My husband swore that they realized they had incorrectly priced the rig and wanted more for it. He felt they were just leading us along hoping we would back out and they could price it properly. Guess what after 6 weeks of us trying to get possession of this rig... we gave up, we got our deposit back and their web site was updated. The rig we we're paying $50,999 for was now available for $62,999 . Dirt bags, gave us the run around without a second thought, it was just about filling their pockets. DO NOT TRUST A SINGLE PERSON AT THIS LOCATION. They will lie to you face day after day, never return calls, make up phony job titles for themselves. Tell you how sorry they are when in the end, they do nothing but lie. They must be paid well because nobody would sell their soul for a small paycheck.
They are quick to sell you an rv, but once they have your money, you can hold your breath waiting for them to fix anything found on your walk thru. God help you if they owe you any money when making the deal, as you can forget about it, to the point they wont return phone calls or emails. Very unorganized dealership, left hand doesnt know what the right hand is doing. would not recommend them to anyone. Find yourself a reputable dealer elsewhere.
First of all I'd like to say it takes a lot for me to leave a negative review being I own a business myself, with that being said here we go
First of all I'd like to say it takes a lot for me to leave a negative review being I own a business myself, with that being said here we go. Purchasing the fifth wheel in August was very straight forward, very nice people to deal with, after that it all went downhill. My camper has been at your Ocala shop for warranty work since January second, it is now February 8th, the 2 people I have been dealing with, Jennifer and Craig, tell me they will call with an update but they never do. I have to call and leave messages and still get no return. I finally got Jennifer through a text, asking her for an update, and she responded saying she was with a customer and would get back with me in q5 minutes, which is totally understandable. But then am hour and a half went by and I still never got a response. I had to text her again and ask her if she was still with a customer, she apologized and said all the Technicians had gone home and she would call me the next day. You think she did? Of course not! She tells me 1 week it has been looked at and waiting to be pulled back in to be fixed and finished Friday, February 5th. She also said she would call back the 5th, but once again she completely brushed it off. I finally talked to Craig, he said it was Jennifer's work order, put me on hold to figure out the situation, came back and said he could not believe my camper had been their almost 3 weeks and hadn't even been looked at. So then he promised to take the work order over and that he would call me the next day with an update, and once again I never heard from him again. I would like to speak with the owner and I'm seriously hoping the situation is handled better than the employees have been dealing with it.

I just wanted to let others know about our nightmare experience with this dealership
I just wanted to let others know about our nightmare experience with this dealership. We have never owned an RV and found one there that we thought we would be very happy with. We were wrong. It was within our budget, which was small as I was taking the money from my retirement account to purchase it. There were problems with the vehicle before we took it for a test drive, which probably should have told us to run, but we were assured that when we took possession, which was a month later, it would be in good working order. We bought new tires, new coach batteries, a warranty and a roadside assistance package, as we didn't expect a used vehicle to function like a new one, but we did expect to at least be able to use it. We parked it in our yard, as we wanted to learn everything about it before going on a trip, and were unable to get anything to work on it. Some electrical malfunction drained both coach batteries and even plugging the vehicle into our house generator didn't enable us to charge those batteries, put the slides out or do anything else with it. We had the chassis battery replaced and were able to put the stabilizer jacks down, but when we finally decided to have it towed back to the facility, we had to have a mechanic come to put the jacks up. He had over 20 years experience working on RVs and said he'd never had so much trouble with jacks, that there was very little hydraulic fluid present in the lines and, after looking the vehicle over and seeing for himself that nothing was functional, he said in his opinion the vehicle should never have been sold. After letters, phone calls (one with a sales manager who tried to tell me we hadn't flipped some switch that they had flipped and everything suddenly was working, I didn't bother to ask if that fixed the jacks, too) and emails to the CEO, I was given an offer for them to buy back the vehicle. I didn't feel it was a fair price that I was offered, but I took it as I was so angered by the fact that we had purchased an unusable vehicle and I didn't want to have to put more time or money into it, have to involve a lawyer or deal with any of them any longer. I will never do business with them again.
If I could leave 0 stars I would
If I could leave 0 stars I would.
Now before I start this, I want to make it clear that I know I made a rash decision without all of the information, and I may still get a good
Now before I start this, I want to make it clear that I know I made a rash decision without all of the information, and I may still get a good deal. We were anxious to get a new camper and had reservations at the lake later that day, and I had some cash available earmarked for getting a camper to take with us. I went in, I checked out the camper they had on the lot, and paid cash for it. I was so tired of trying to buy one through a private seller and I made a quick decision. That's when the customer service stopped. As soon as they had my money, they didn't seem bothered about the fact that everything out of their mouths for the next two days was a lie. My husband called for peace of mind to know a little more about the trailer that we had paid for. They said they didn't know anything about it. They had no records of it at all, apparently. I guess they want their customers to believe that they just take campers on trade without any paperwork about the condition, and all the employees are just floating around not really sure what inventory they have and what kind of condition it is in before it leaves the lot. My husband called to ask about the condition and if there were any problems we need to be prepared for. I bought the camper "as is" and I was starting to feel anxious that my deal might be too good to be true, and so we called just to see if we could find anything at all about the camper so we could know how much to save for any potential repairs, or know of things we needed to get before taking it out. They said in the front office that all that information was in the service department and they don't have a key. I wonder if on weekends, if there is an emergency and they need to get into the service department, if they would just sit back and stare blankly like they did with my husband today. I don't believe for one second that they don't have a key to the service department anywhere else but with their service department staff or in the service department building itself. If that's the case, I'm sure there is a code or regulation somewhere that they are violating. Would be interesting to find out. All we wanted to do was check through the trailer that we had paid money for to identify any potential issues we had missed the first go round and it is extremely disturbing to me that they wouldn't allow us to see our camper after we had signed the paperwork for it. Bad business. Buyer beware.
Luckily for my wife and I, our salesman was amazing
I was hoping this would be resolved before now but it hasn't so that's why I'm writing this review
I was hoping this would be resolved before now but it hasn't so that's why I'm writing this review. We visited Optimum RV, in Bushnell, Fl. the end of January which is 2 hours from where we live. We had seen a unit on the Bushnell website and that's what we wanted to look at. The original salesperson we spoke to first was out sick and the person he told us to ask for was also out sick. First of all it was a rainy day which made it unpleasant and the salesperson that approached us was new and really didn't know that much about the units. We had to end up asking him to take us around in a golf cart which he did after asking. The one we saw on the website we didn't like so we found another one that we really liked. My husband went through it inside and out checking everything out. He ask to drive it 3TIMES. The battery was dead but the salesperson made no effort to get it started. As a matter of fact he actually said "let's wait until we see what the financer comes up with on figures. Really! Anyway, when he brought the paperwork out from the financer it was way over priced which we found out later when they finally put a price on the unit on their website it was $20,000 less. Never did get a explanation for that. Anyway we later talked on the phone to the original salesperson and told him about the unit we liked and he wanted a deposit of $500.00 to hold it so it wouldn't get sold. We put it on a credit card and was told if we didn't get the unit it would be refunded. Since we live so far away he ask us to fill out a appraisal certificate for our trade-in plus a credit app. I sent the appraisal but not the credit app(thank goodness) because he said he would work up some numbers to have us look over and I didn't want to send the credit app until we knew for sure if we would accept the deal. Well we never got the numbers and he called on Feb. 12th saying the unit had been sold. No numbers and no phone call saying someone was interested in purchasing the unit. He said someone offered more than what they were asking so they sold it. Who in their right mind would do that! Well now I can't get them to credit my card back for the $500.00. I have a email from him saying that he would take care of the credit and I could count on him. I guess I can't! It has been a week of texting and emails with promises and I still don't have a credit. If anyone buys from Optimum RV in Bushnell, Fl. (and I don't suggest that) before you put any money down make sure you see the numbers first and that your actually going to purchase the unit. Very, very bad customer service!
Let me start out by saying Jessica is the only reason I'm giving this place 1 star
Worst experience of our life!
Worst experience of our life! Stopped on Sunday 3/7 to look at 2 Grey Wolf's listed on line. Fell in love with one...downhill from there. First, the sales person had said there were two fees added to the listed price: prep and delivery for another $2,000. Sales agreement included those plus another $999 dealer fee. Spent over 2 hours being pressured to make the purchase on the spot, up to the point of having a finance contract presented for signature at a rate of 8.99%...really? Managed to escape with leaving a $500 deposit to hold the unit and return on Monday. On Monday we returned and killed another couple hours that served no purpose as we had arranged our own financing at 3.5%, yet they attempted to sell us on their source at 6.6%. Finally left with the understanding that we would bring the funds and pick up the unit at 3 on Thursday. First thing on Thursday, our sales person is not on duty. We are advised, contrary to what he had told us, they cannot transfer the hitch we currently owned, but we could do it ourselves and they would loan us the tools...sure, my husband is 81 with limited mobility and neither of us know the first thing about proper installation of a hitch, so out comes the checkbook for another $836. Then we meet the person who will do our walk through. First thing we notice is one battery vs. 2, then no outside kitchen, door in front not rear! This is NOT the unit we were shown on Sunday! A sales person is appointed to take us to the unit we had seen. We spend another 3 hours of our life negotiating the price differential to purchase the unit we had been shown on Sunday, yet leave with no hitch and no RV, just an appointment for 4 on Friday. On Friday, only the walk through person greets us. The correct unit has been prepped to our satisfaction, but we hang around again while they figure out where our hitch is and who will install it. This turned out to be the highlight of our experience as the installer was personable and thorough in instructing us on using the new equipment. After giving up another couple hours of our life, the tow home was smooth sailing. In summary, this is nothing short of a bait and switch operation, i.e. their units are advertised at very favorable prices to entice you to fall in love with one and then you are pressured into their pipeline to negotiate their system of exorbitant fees and outrageous financing terms in order to own it. You are then the prey of at least the salesperson, manager, finance manager and a host of other personalities. You will never see these people again when the time comes to take delivery. This purchase cost us not only financially, but in excess of 10 hours of our lives, the stress of which likely shortened our future enjoyment of travel in our new RV! However, we love our new unit and pray we will never have a need to deal with this dealership again...
I gave one star because I couldn't give a negative star
I gave one star because I couldn't give a negative star. Optimum RV in Bushnell finally replaced my grey water tank so they say. And I had to spend a night in a hotel because they didn't fix it in a timely manner. Cost me $150 for hotel. Hope I can get reimbursed for that. Got it home the next day and was leaking worse than before. They sent a tech out and he said leave grey tank dump valve open and left. Called them and they said it was leaking because the tank was full. When it's full the seal pops out and let's the water leak out so the water doesn't explode. Makes no since to me. Told him if it's full it should continue to fill up till it backs up in shower should not leak. And if that is so then the seal is no good anymore since it popped out. And the tank wasn't that full. So he said keep an eye on it and call back if it's still leaking. It was still leaking the next day so I called back and told them. They sent another tech out. He said it was because they didn't put enough glue on the pipes. Took it to them again next day. Got it home and didn't use any water till next day to make sure all glue was good and dry. Well as soon as I started using water it was leaking yet again. They sent two techs out today and opened the grey dump valve again and said leave it open. And they were very rude about it. Asked what we are gonna do now. They said we are talking to someone about it now. They left and never said what was going to be done. I called the main headquarters in Ocala. Told them the situation and they said they would get back with me. Haven't heard from Ocala or Bushnell about this. It's been two weeks since they last came out and I called Ocala. I have been dealing with this problem since I purchased the camper. 7 months ago. Campers unlimited in gadsden alabama where I bought it from told me to original turn it in on car insurance. That took a two month process. To be told that it was a manufacturer problem. I've been dealing with Optimum rv in Bushnell every since then. I have taken it to them 4 times. They have sent out 4 techs on different days. All for the grey water tank leaking. And if it wasn't for me calling them to find out what the next step was then I wouldn't have got anything done. I am fed up with them as anyone would be at this point. I have been patient and very polite through this process. With a brand new 2021 camper. Guess I'll have to find another place of business to take it to. I just want it fixed but that seams impossible. And the third thermostat they put in the light doesn't illuminate as well. He said they tore it apart and it is like a dummy switch. It goes to nothing behind the push button. They have also cut my underbelly all up. Taped it back and put new screw in the frame in places creating more holes. Asked if they were going to replace the underbelly. They said no that is how the manufacturer requires them to do it. All they had to do was drop the underbelly and put it back up. Instead they cut holes in it and taped it back. They said they was going to turn it in to manufacturer that I request it be replaced. They said when I picked it up the last time that manufacturer didn't cover it being replaced. Asked if they would replace it on there dime. They said no. They scratched the camper upon my first visit there. They painted over some spots not all. Told me they was gonna replace the metal. I have videos everytime upon drop off and pickup while at there place. Basically I have a grey water tank still leaking. Under belly that is all cut up and sagging. Thermostat that doesn't illuminate. And I am still in my first year of manufacture warranty. I also payed $2900 more for an extended warranty.
Me and my girlfriend went up to the Ocala location to buy our first RV
Me and my girlfriend went up to the Ocala location to buy our first RV. Now I know from just dealing with a car salesman you have to be leery on what they say and promise for that matter. So our "salesman" Richard took us out to see some class C Rvs and at first he showed us a rundown RV that really shouldn't even be up for sale it had damages on the walls and doors. We both said no to that RV now keep this in mind for later in the story, so we kept looking and found the perfect RV had everything we were looking for. We both were very excited to get the process going to get the unit. So they ran our credit and was really pushy to get us to put down money but we both told them to give us some time to think about this because this is a VERY BIG purchase. Also they kept us there and my girlfriend had to get her kids so our day was kinda wasted. So we talked about it and our "salesman" told us that he would keep in touch to let us know about the unit and I kept reaching out to our "salesman" for the unit. One week later we were able to get the funds to see if they could have this as a down payment for our unit. So I reached out to our fearless "salesman" and let him know what me and my girlfriend had the funds to get the unit. So we drive to Ocala and our "salesman" was with another customer so he sent his "best friend" to assist us now keep in mind we both knew what unit it was and how it looked on the inside. So we had my girlfriend's kids with us and off we went to see our unit. We get to the side for class C RVs and his best friend was like is this the unit(now remember the first unit our "salesman" Richard showed us) we both told him that was not it. So we went all around the entire lot and couldn't find this unit. So his "best friend" told our "salesman" Richard he couldn't find it and he tried to "look" for it. In the meantime his "best friend" tried to show us another unit where it was kind of the same unit but the generator was messed up and the slide was completely off track. Richard "best friend" had to call a gentleman who moves the sold units to the bays to get them ready for delivery to the unit he tried to show us. Not to mention while he tried to jump the generator he also stated that the back generator that makes the tracks come out has to be replaced before they could sell this unit. So red flags are screaming in my head and face. My girlfriend picked up on my vibes as well and our "salesman" was still trying to "locate" our unit. The gentleman told Richard "best friend" to check in the way back and we all piled in the golf cart to head to the location. So we get to the way back of the lot and our unit was hidden with a sold sign. My girlfriend was crushed and I was pissed beyond measured. So we head back to the office and they had us wait to see what they could do for us. We had one manager come to us and say we have a unit that would fit our needs and it was the same unit that had all the issues. The killing part is they told us that we could get the window fixed and doors and things replaced. I forgot to mention that the window was broken on that unit as well and at that point I was drained. My girlfriend wanted to test drive that piece of crap unit and I told her let's not even waste our time with it. I know a bait and switch when I see one. So I told her to follow my lead and we left out of the office and Richard had the nerve to push for us to drive that lemon of a unit. So I'm glad we both went with our first minds and talked about it before we gave them any cash money. So they lost out on a potential client and several referrals. I don't like to have my time and fuel wasted for a wild goose chase. I said all of this to say do not do business with Optimum RV in Ocala go anywhere else if need be. They had the nerve to run a bait and switch on two women who they thought didn't know how the game is ran.
Optimum RV Complaints 18
Follow through on promised work
I purchased my camper van from Optimum RV in Ocala 11/18/23 and am still waiting for them to finish work they put down in writing they would perform. I took delivery of my van to discover a crack in the water tank and electrical problems once I had it home. This was my 1st RV purchase and I can only assume that the van must have been plugged in and hooked...

In March 2023 we purchased a 2023 Prowler Trailer (New?) Well, there wasn't a couch in it, they said it would be ordered. When the couch came in there wasn't a bottom to it & a tear in it. We couldn't use it so we bought a loveseat. In May we called to have the furnace & toilet repaired. The furnace didn't work properly when we took it & was told the road...
Read full review of Optimum RVFour month service time and still not fixed.
When we bought our forest river rogue toyhauler the dealership damaged the awning and door. We bought it in May of 2022 the frist time we took it back they sent wrong parts. The second time they had ot a week and replaced the door. The third time they didn't even touch it. This time it has been there since June 19. For the awning and a few other fixes. We still do have it back and it's still not back. We are supposed to go tomorrow ( this will be 5th trip ) the excuses have ranged from wrong part to firings to we didn't see the list. I would love some answers. We had to pay over 2000$ in rentals alone on two vacation because we didn't have it back.

After spending 10,000 on a used camper, the day after pickup I noticed the tv antenna was loose. I took it to a local rv shop to fix it and they informed me I need a 6,000 roof and I have soft spots in the floor (I do not have an estimate on the floor yet. They must have noticed the soft spots in the roof when they leak checked it and put sealer on the roof, but neglected to inform me of this. We were never given the chance to have a qualified person inspect it or to climb on the roof ourselves.
We went to the location prior to April 3rd to look at a new camper
We went to the location prior to April 3rd to look at a new camper. We did the paperwork and I was then told that they couldn't get me done. Well on the 3rd they called and said that things changed and I was qualified to buy suddenly. So we drove 2 hours back to the location. I get rushed into the sales room to sign paperwork without any major explanation as to how they got me done. Well after looking at the paperwork some numbers were different. My husband's pay was included but he wasn't included on the contract. We told them that we would've taken it if the awning was replaced also. We'll we had to wait two weeks for that to be done. So after waiting those two weeks we finally drove another 2 hours there to pick it up. There were a few small things that needed to be fixed but we couldn't wait any longer. New jacks and awning were put on. Once we got it home we noticed a separation between the awning and the camper body. We immediately called Optimum about it and the jacks not wanting to work right either. They got a rv tech out to our location. He stated that they rigged the wiring for the jacks which was a shock to us. He fully rewired their mess for us and sealed the separated spot of the awning. So from the beginning the awning wouldn't stay up like it should either. We have only moved our awning a few times and the motors started to slow down within a month or two. We contacted optimum again and I spoke to an extremely rude woman in the service department. She argued rather than trying to help and I was told a Supervisor was going to call me. This was over a month ago now. I also never received my permanent tag. Once we got settled into our new place I called to give them the new address. They said the tag should've arrived. Well it never did and so I called them. The guy I spoke to was great. He told me that I had to go the the tag office and file for a missing tag. He said that I would have to pay the fees and they would reimburse me. Not happening

We purchased a 2021 Dutchmen Yukon back in November last year from Optimum RV in Mims, and it has been a complete nightmare experience. From the day we picked up the vehicle, we have had trouble. There was water in the storage area, but the service technician assured us it was merely residual from pressure washing. The vehicle was missing lights above the kitchen, grommets in the shower, and a shelf on one side of the bed. It took six weeks to finally receive the parts for the lights, and we are still waiting for the shelf and the shower grommets. Two weeks after acquiring the RV, we discovered that the water in the storage area was due to a leak from the toilet, which flooded the storage, damaging our personal items and the floor. We paid Optimum RV $2500 for an inspection of this vehicle, but they failed to detect this leak. When we reported the issue, they claimed it wasn't covered under warranty, despite our purchase of the $5000 extended service plan. We immediately demanded a refund, which took three months to receive. They initially blamed the manufacturer for refusing to cover the warranty, which we later learned was untrue. The manufacturer was actually holding Optimum accountable, stating that the vehicle had sat on the lot too long, causing the seals to dry up. Optimum was reluctant to address the issue as it would incur costs on their part, so we endured rotting floors for four months. The floors were only repaired after I contacted the State Attorney General and Complaintsboard.com, and Optimum appointed a new service manager. After months of waiting for new flooring, we discovered that the service manager had resigned, taking all the files, including the order for our flooring, which had never been placed. Now, the flooring has been ordered and has been sitting in their office for a month. We were scheduled to have it installed tomorrow, but upon calling, we were informed of the need to reschedule because the installation requires a specialized company, as they lack the expertise. Thus, we have waited an additional month for nothing.
I am at the end of a long rope. I have been seeking assistance since July 3rd. I was delivered a unit that I did not choose. The model that was delivered has broken recliners, a refrigerator door that will not close and a shower floor that is sinking. When I walked the lot and picked my unit out: I specifically went and stood in the shower to measure the elbow to elbow space AND if the floor to that shower was sinking...I would have known. I no longer trust Jamie. His word is not true. I have text msg to prove his lack of consideration, open ended untruths and blatant dis- regards. Braden has taken my messages. Melody is trying to match my recliners to "pull from another unit" I asked for her to keep me informed, I as yet have heard. July 3rd, sirs. July 3rd. I have text msg asking Jamie could he show me another unit a bit larger, honor my $14,000 cash deposit and keep my payments under $400. He texted, "Sure. I will reach out tomorrow." Tomorrow came and went. Now many tomorrows past. I beg you to come to Mims/Titusville Optimum. Something is all wrong in the leadership and customer service is very poor. I called them: July 3rd=a service tech came out to write repair orders and said they would be in touch. August 4th I called them= left mag AND texted Jamie(supposed manager) August 22nd called and emailed various contacts listed as company Division and Serv Managers= Melody called and asked for a photo of recliner and she.would look on the lit to trade off. I reminded her I would be leaving for the year Sept 15 and these needed corrected. She said she would call me August 27th I called Meloday because I had not heard back as promised AND my leave date.was looming= Melody told me it was her.job to correct and give the customer what they needed. She was working on warranty But I told her this was a delivery issue NOT I was delivered the wrong unit.= chair must be done via warranted but that shower sinking would be fixed before mid Sept. 13th= nothing yet
I bought a brand new Gulfstream just before memorial day, unit has manufacturer date of 4/18/22. I used the unit 3 times. I don't recall the exact date (as I wasn't expecting it to take this long) but early July I brought the unit back to their service department for numerous problems...20 some odd of them, plus another dozen or so involving poor workmanship. So now 11 weeks later I still don't have my unit back. Service dept Brian mentioned several times it would be back end of August, he's gone now and Bailey has yet to contact me. Several emails back and forth with their Pottstown location general manager jack Tucker provided no satisfaction...he no longer returns my emails either. Apparently gulf stream only approved part of my complaints, optimum should be helping me get the rest covered, or do it out of pocket as I'm not spending one cent to fix poorly built substandard product but they aren't doing anything. Now camping season is coming to a close in the northeast region. I used this camper three times but was expecting to have used it at least a dozen times by now. I no longer care if it's fixed or not, I want a full refund on the basis that , assuming it's even fixed by April, it will now be over a year old, will have depreciated by (guessing here) $8000, and I'd still be wondering what will go wrong next based on all the problems it has (full credit toward a different unit is acceptable). Additionally another year of the factory warranty would have expired, yet I would be unable to put it thru normal use to see what else would go wrong during that time frame. Also I have "coupons" from assorted destinations that have a monetary value that will expire, I expect reimbursement or time extensions on them as well. I also have this theory in the back of my head that they split haven't fixed my unit because the hourly rate warranty repairs will be reimbursed at is significantly lower then the $169/hour they charge customers, and they are 6 weeks behind
My RV has been at this dealership now for almost 4 months waiting on warranty work. Very unsatisfied with the customer service and very unhappy on how long its taking to get my RV fixed. My family has had a trip planned since earlier this year and now we don't know if we'll be able to use ***.
On Tues, 10/19, Cody *** called me & said Optimum RV in Ocala was interested in purchasing my Highland Ridge, Open Range 3X388RKS RV
On Tues, 10/19, Cody *** called me & said Optimum RV in Ocala was interested in purchasing my Highland Ridge, Open Range 3X388RKS RV. I texted pictures of the inside/outside to him. Cody said they would offer me between $40K & $45K. I asked him to narrow down the price & he said they would offer me $43K. I agreed on the price. On 10/20, Cody said "I spoke with my manager we need to get the unit here & once we get it here we need you to ride up to the dealership to fill out some paperwork to get you a check". I told him, not a problem. We agreed on 10/22. Once the RV was there, Cody & I believe his mgr looked at the RV. Cody then came to me & said because the furniture is not original (they were aware), the bedroom had been painted & there was some delaminating on the front, I was offered $35K instead of the $43K agreed upon price or I could put it on consignment for $55,000. By this time it was dark outside & it was almost 7pm, they left me with no choice. I had no way to get the RV back home & nowhere to store it, I had to sign the consignment agreement. Only at that time did I find out that now I have to pay $1,500 for safety check & system check by the service dept. & it would include a full inspection report once completed. I do not have that kind of money. Cody said I had to give them something. I could put it on 2 different credit cards, borrow the money, but I would have to put at least $750 down. The best I could do was $200 from my rent money. As of today, 10/27 I still have not received the inspection report. Due to Optimum RV's tactics I felt vulnerable, taken advantage of, humiliated & ashamed of what they had done to me. I sent a text to Cody today, 10/27 advising him I cannot come up with the money. I told him I may have to come & get the RV & cancel the contract. I also asked if the mgr will agree to an outright purchase of $40,000. Cody got back to me, they will leave it on the lot till it sells. I prefer they keep their word.

I bought a camper for 10,000 used after I bought the first person I had look at it said it needs a 6,000 roof. You could see were they had put sealer on the roof they had to see the soft spots when they diidd it, but failed to let me know of this condition Also the floor has soft spots. We were never alowed the chance to have it inspected by a qualifyed profesional or to climb on the roof ourselvs. That was just a few days after purchase after reading the coments here it seems in my best intrest to get an Attorney. Purchased an RV from Optimum RV in Ocala Fl for $45,674.29 to include the warranty and the protective coating on 12,/14/21. We did not receive a walk thru or an inspection prior to or day of delivery on 12/24. We began having service calls on various items beginning 12/30 to include drainage issues, furnace went out, water heater leaking, exhausted fan broke, ceiling fan/light wouldn't work, fireplace doesn't work, and various other small things like the broken kitchen drawer and a vent cover wasn't fixed as promised. As of 7/26/22 the only thing we have gotten is a water heater installed on 7/25/22 they put it on top of water standing soaked carpet which mold has begun to grow up my walls and left us without water pressure. A ceiling fan with no light was insulted. Nothing else had been fixed because Optimum RV and the Warranty company are arguing. Also, Brittany from Optimum RV told us it was our fault the water heater was leaking because we use the camper to much and she also said if the items aren't necessary for camping they don't need to fix it. So my RV has no furnace, no water pressure, mold on my walls and floor, the new water heater is sitting on water soaked carpet.
Paid $2500 deposit on a camper and was to trade my used camper. I waited 2 weeks for the camper was told it had problems but would not tell me what was wrong with it.Calls was not returned and would not tell what was wrong with the camper.I then informed the dealer I was not no longer going to buy the camper. They tried to make me buy it say that I have already bought it.How have I bought when I have not gave them my $18,000 trade or sigh the title to them.I told the dealer that I would give them the $2500 when I get the camper but they kept insisting for the money.i told him that I did not want to because if things went wrong he would have my money and put me to the side as no longer important. He informed me that they where not like other dealers and honest and to trust them. Then what I had said would happen did after waiting 2 weeks and not being told what was wrong or an repair time I bought a camper else where and was refused my deposit back was told it was for the work that was done to the camp that I was looking to buy. The camper was new so how do I owe money to repair the dealers new camper that I never bought.Have included pic of the $2500 that clearly says deposit on it this first transaction started on 6/19/2022 have called the home office in FL but same no one helps and says I will get a call back but never have.I have done a little reading on this company and see the same thing happen to other people
We bought a Jayco SLX8 287BHS in December . Everything looked great except one rim had a decent dent along the edge. We were told that all issues are taken care of "like new" before pick-up of the camper and they don't allow bent/ damaged rims or tires on vehicles. 2 weeks later, the bent rim is there. They replace it with the spare (from the back of the camper) and "will get the rim repaired" because it is color painted to match the camper. After a little over 2 months of checking in, I was informed they would have my rim ready. I drove about 45 minutes for a poorly masked and spray painted, different color grey, used rim. If this is what I get for the mandatory "like new" cleaning and prep, I am doubting the warranty work will be much better.
I purchased a 2021 Shadow Cruiser 240BHS on October 3 in the amount of $28,469.88
I purchased a 2021 Shadow Cruiser 240BHS on October 3 in the amount of $28,469.88. On January 5 I set an appointment for service to begin on January 25. All work was identified as covered under warranty. Work order number is XXXXXX with a promise date of February 19. Items of service were: pass-through storage door lock, TV coax receiver, top-rear corner of slide out misaligned, water damage as a result of point of entry failure, cracked skylight, water damage to interior wall from skylight failure, and entry door lock misaligned. Technicians did not review my work order until March 3, 5 weeks after initial appointment. I was informed all parts would be received by June 15, however I was called on July 5 that all parts were received. Optimum RV set me up with an appointment for September 20 to have all work completed, 7 weeks after receipt. I called on October 19 for an update but was told all parts were not in, contradicting July 5. I've called service on November 1, November 8, and November 12. I then called and emailed the service manager on November 22. Still no response. We are 60 days shy of a calendar year. I am on my 5th service advisor and 2nd service manager in that time. Work is still not complete. Our Thanksgiving trip was cancelled, and I fear our Christmas trip will have the same result. Additionally, we are still paying storage fees locally while our RV is still at Optimum RV. This has been nothing short of a systematic failure on behalf of Optimum RV. I am seeking assistance in proactive communication, and expedited and satisfactory completion of the work which started 10 months ago by December 16. I feel the requests of communication and satisfactory work completion are reasonable expectations for any person engaging in a business transaction. I have records of all emails and phone logs to verify dates and context if needed. A more detailed document of this incident is attached.

After purchasing a Travel Trailer on the 18th of June, 2022 I can not get Optimum RV to return any phone calls or text messages regarding the issues that have not been resolved. Upon the day of purchase there was a down payment of $4,500 placed. While doing the walkthrough on the day of delivery the staff member broke the awning in the travel trailer and was made aware of the fan in the kitchen area and switch not working, not filling one of the two propane tanks, while understanding accidents happen they pushed delivery back to the following day to fix these issues. Upon delivery the gentleman that delivered the travel trailer nearly ran over a motorcycle while entering the driveway. Only one of the propane tanks was with the trailer after calling about this issue they insured me someone would be back to deliver the other tank. After two days of waiting for them to deliver I drove back to the dealership to pick this up. After delivery the trailer was hooked up to power to find the switch and tan was still not working properly. It is July 9th and the fan in the kitchen is still on and running as it was not turn off. When lowering the jacks to stabilize the trailer they were bent. After contacting this location the customer service has very bad communication. After calling everyday no one will return phone calls.
We purchased a used 2012 Forest River Salem 22RBS from your store in Bushnell on 5/13. Our salesman, Philip H, assured us that the unit would be thoroughly gone through and any deficiencies would be corrected. This did not happen. The Manager, Joe H, assured us that the unit was still under the manufacturer's warranty. We have since learned that the warranty does not transfer. We closed on the deal based upon these assurances and picked up the unit on 5/26. Phil told us they needed those two weeks to assure everything was corrected. We took the unit out from 6/9 to 6/12 where we noticed a number of problems (listed below). We called to schedule corrections and were told to bring the unit in, which we did on 6/21 when we met with Warren K to outline the issues with the unit. My wife called on 6/27 and was told by Vinnie that the unit would go in for repairs "next week". She phoned again on 7/6 and was told by Vinnie that it would go in a week to 10 days. I called on 7/12 and asked to speak to Vinnie and was told by Alycia S (service advisor) that Vinnie was off. When I asked her for a date that our unit would be taken in to begin repairs. I informed her that it had been three weeks and I expected to be given a date. She said that she would talk to Vinnie the next morning and call me. She did not call. On 7/13, I left messages for Vinnie and Warren. No call. Later that afternoon I called Phil and expressed my frustration with unfulfilled promises and lack of communication. He said he would walk over to service and call me. No call. 7/15 left message for Vinnie. No call. 7/18 Left another message for Vinnie to call. No call. No response from customercare. 7/20 left message for Vinnie. No call.
We purchased a 2022 North Trail 33RETS on January 21st, 2022 at the Tampa RV show from the Optimum RV dealer on-site at the show
We purchased a 2022 North Trail 33RETS on January 21st, 2022 at the Tampa RV show from the Optimum RV dealer on-site at the show. We were told the unit was shipped directly from the factory to the show and would need to be inspected and checked at the dealer before we could pick it up. We pointed out several issues with the unit, scratches and protruding sharp point screws around the island. We made a trip to the Ocala FL. dealership to order additional accessories and were not greeted by anyone when we arrived in the sales or service department. After questioning the parts department we were directed to our sales advisor. After sitting at his desk while on the phone he never acknowledges our presence. We had to request another service advisor to take care of our needs. Finally, after weeks of calling and not making contact, we received a call to pick up our unit on March 16th, 2022. When we arrived to pick up the unit it had not had the scratches corrected nor did they replace the island. During our walk-through inspection, it was determined the gas range did not function properly and would be replaced under warranty. At this point in good faith, we took the unit home. They were to let us know when we could return the unit for the warranty repairs. After weeks of not hearing from Optimum RV, we started trying to contact them for an update with no success. We left numerous voice mails and sent e-mails to which we received no response. After multiple tries, we were able to get to the service department and requested to speak to a manager, we were directed to our service advisor who answered the phone. At this point, we requested the unit be repaired at one of their other locations nearer to our residence. On April 4th, we delivered the unit to the Bushnell locations service manager. There were several issues added to the list at this point. As of April 21st, 2022 we have not been able to contact the Bushnell location or the service manager for updates or answers.

i purchased a winnebago voyage travel trailer. i did not get a walk through as they were closing store. took home only to find sevral things things wrong, called to schedule appt to look at problems before my 20 days complaint period would expire, they schedur on the day that would make my complaint after the 20 days would not work with me, treated poorly. hung up on by several employees manager said if i bring the trailer there with out an appointment he will call and have my trailer towed. they were nasty. spoke with my sales rep once he set up appt and said no problem lets get this taken care of, never heard back from him again left many messeages was blocked from calling. even recepionist was in on it telling me that no one was available to talk to me and leave a messgae left thousands of messages and everytime i called she would say no one was there and to leave a message they will get back to you. they never did. i was so upset that i couldnt make it to my appointment as i told them it wouldnt work cause it would be after my 20 days complaint time and they said sorry thats the onlky time you can come in. i begged and pleaded and they were heartless
I purchased a mobile home from Optimum RV in Ocala FL While driving on the highway, the vehicle lost power during a dangerous curve on a busy interstate. After rolling off to the right lane I noticed thick smoke coming from beneath and filling the coach. When help arrived I learned that the wiring used to connect the batteries were not up to code (low grade gauge not suitable for a 40' mobile unit. The electrician who was called by the AZ highway patrol says that there is no way they should have legally allowed that death trap to leave their dealership. I contacted the company and their only response was that I bought it as is. In addition to the leaking roof and hydraulic issues, I think that either the fire would have killed the occupants or the sudden death of the unit on a busy interstate would have created even more casualties. They need to be held accountable or in the least be exposed for their negligence.
On 6/6/22 I signed a purchase order for a 2018 Airstream Bambi. I left them a $2000 deposit and my bank wired $47,000. While we were waiting for Optimum to repair the entrance door that did not close flush to the body of the unit. The service technician called and said that the camper would have to go to Airstream as the door and possibly the structure would need to be bent back into shape. And that the door would possibly need to be replaced. So I cancelled the contract as I did not want a unit that had structural damage. I never took possession of the unit nor did I sign closing documents. I only signed a purchase order one page. Now Optimum does not want to refund the entire $49,000. They only want to return the $47,000 and keep my deposit of $2000. I don't feel like this is fair as the unit has structural damage and they were not willing to fix it as the door alone is $8000. In addition I just bought another RV from them two weeks prior to this transaction. So this would have been my second purchase from Optimum. I feel that I'm entitled to a full refund as the Airstream is not to my satisfaction. Please help me.
My husband and I bought a used 2021 Thor C and were promised a privacy curtain for the cab. We were told it was ordered on 4/29/2022 to be picked up May 10, 2022 when we took possession of rv from Optimum RV. On May 10, we were told curtain was on back order. I called back in a few weeks and told order was canceled because Thor does not make curtain for our model. I called Thor and ordered curtain myself. I have called repeatedly Optimum rv and spoke with many associates and they keep giving me run around and not returning calls. I want a reimbursement of cost of privacy curtain $108 since this was a condition of sale and promised to us.
I bought a brand new RV from optimum RV in ocala in July
I bought a brand new RV from optimum RV in ocala in July.. during the walk through we saw the band in the kitchen had a crack .then noted it and side it would be repaired..we brought it home and discovered it had issues with the locks not working.I contacted them and was set up via text message with someone in parts..I ask about the locks and the bench repair they told me someone would call me in a few days...days went by no call I called them and call them nothing... About a month later I noticed the wall paper and the laminate around the bedroom was starting to bubble so I took pictures and gave them a call again I got a hold of somebody in parts they kind of gave me the runaround had me send them the pictures to a text message number and email.. this lady and I corresponded for about 7 days and then I heard nothing else from her and was not able to get a hold of her again, tried contacting optimum RV in Ocala where is where we bought the RV everybody there kept giving me the runaround I was either put on hold or transferred to a bunch of people who would just transfer me to somebody else. Finally called the optimum RV in a Zephyrhills there in the process of trying to help us.. but in the meanwhile the RV has had a main leak in the bedroom which has ruined everything in there... The water tank leaked and flooded the whole bottom of the RV which they fixed or patched up I'm not sure... And as we speak the RV has three main leaks not even leaks floods... There is water pouring into the bedroom from where the wall and floor meet.. there is a leak underneath the sink area which already has mold growing... And there is a leak in my daughter's bunk bed room to where it flooded the whole bedroom with at least a quarter inch of water,. You go online to optimum RV and even the phone numbers are around you can get a hold of the sales manager of course and they give you a call back fast wanting to sell you another RV or send emails wanting to sell you a new one..

We bought a new 2021 travel trailer from Optimum RV on 12/27
We bought a new 2021 travel trailer from Optimum RV on 12/27. Gave the dealership $10,000 down payment and financed the rest. They charged us extra $2190 to get the trailer ready for delivery. They had it ready for delivery on 1/6/2022. We brought it home that day. That night rained, in the morning we had water over the bed and the front wall. We notified the dealership immediately and took it back to the dealership on 1/8/2022. They said it was fixed and tried to deliver it to us on 1/13/22. My husband was able to see that area that was leaking was not fixed, he did not accept the delivery. After multiple conversations with the dealership we went back to them on 1/15/22 with the understanding that they were going to swap the trailer for another one exactly the same, since the one we bought was not fixed. To our surprise they said we have to pay over $3,000 for the swap. Is this legal? Are they trying to take advantage because we are over 60? We called the bank that is financing the rest of the cost of the RV, they told us that the easiest thing the dealership can do is to cancel the original transaction and start a new one for a different trailer. The dealership refused to do that. Right now we have the original trailer home, it is leaking water and we do not know where to go with it. We got in touch with the manufacturer, their reply was " take it back to the dealership or find another dealership that honors our warranty". I do not know what is legal but when you buy something new, you expect it is in excellent condition, otherwise, we could buy an used trailer for a lot less money. In our eyes the manufacturer is not taking responsibility and the dealership is trying to take advantage. In the meantime we are paying insurance and storage fees as well as a first payment on a trailer that we can not use. Currently the travel trailer is at the storage facility covered with a tarp to prevent further damage. If you need pictures of the water damage, we have several

Purchased RV over 3 months ago and still have not received plate or title
Purchased RV over 3 months ago and still have not received plate or title. Also had an immediate nearly $900 out of pocket repair. We purchased a used 1990s RV from Optimum RV in Ocala, FL 3 months ago and have yet to receive the physical title or plate. We have been issued 2 temporary plates during this time which are now expired, leaving us unable to legally operate the vehicle. I have had to contact their title clerk multiple times to update me on the status of the physical plate and they said they are still waiting on the title so the DMV can issue them the plate. I just learned that the vehicle was originally sold to them back in March this year from out of state. When they purchased the RV they did not collect a title from the original seller and have since been trying to get a duplicate title from the seller's state of origin. Optimum RV then sold us the vehicle in May without disclosing this information to us that they still did not have the title. We purchased the vehicle May 30th with the understanding that we would receive a physical title and plate in the mail to our home address. I understand covid may have complicated some operations but there has been a withholding of information that would have affected our decision to purchase this vehicle in the first place back in May. Another interesting fact, the vehicle is actually a 1989 and not 1990 as advertised. Second issue, during the test drive we noticed the gas gauge did not work and would need to be fixed. We were told since the vehicle is a ford the repair would be cheap and easy. But they would not fix it before the sale because it was being sold as-is. We took the RV for the repair on June 9th as we did not feel comfortable driving with an unknown amount of gas in the vehicle. This "cheap and easy fix" wound up costing us almost $900 because the parts needed were not made anymore and our mechanic had to specially make the parts for the gas gauge sensor repair. It was a far larger repair than Optimum RV let on and the wiring from the gauge to the tank also had to be replaced as well as the fuel pump.

Trailer was delivered to our site without the proper key to access storage and water hookup
Trailer was delivered to our site without the proper key to access storage and water hookup. Trailer was purchased from Optimum RV in Zephyrhills,FL on 2/26, to be delivered after 4/01 to Imperial Bonita Estates (IBE) in Bonita Springs. We were not present on delivery date because of COVID-19, and had to wait until October (because of YBE contract) to come to Florida from Vermont. Upon arrival in Florida, 10/02 we found we could open the front door of trailer, but not the storage compartment, where the water hookup is located. It was after hours and on a Friday evening. I contacted B B Locksmith [protected])who was able to pick the lock in order in order for me to hook up water. I was charged , and paid $149.00 for invoice ***. The next day I went to B B Locksmith Store and found that the key # for the access lock I needed was an "R001", and I was only given "CH751" and different front door key which I also needed. I was only given keys to 2 locks when I should have been given 3. I called Jason at Optimum RV in Zephyrhills and emailed him a copy of the invoice on October 3 at 2:17pm. He never responded to my text. I next spoke, emailed and texted Zach C, the General Manager at Optimum RV in Zephyrhills on numerous ocassions starting on October 5th, at which point I texted and emailed him a copy of my paid invoice. I emailed him again on 10/17 and he replied on 10/20: "Yes I did get a check request into accounting last week so I would think they will have a check in the mail for you this week." 11/17 I emailed him again, asking him about the status of our refund check, to which he replied, "Let me check with accounting tomorrow, I haven't heard from you so I assumed you got it." On 11/18 Mr. C emailed me asking for another copy of the invoice, and I emailed and texted a copy to him. That was the last I have heard from him. I emailed him again on 11/25 and called and spoke to someone at the dealership on 11/30, and have not heard anything back. I tried to attach all of my emails below, and I do not know how to transfer texts. Sorry, but if necessary I can print all of my emails at the park office and mail them. I am just looking for the $140 dollars for the initial service call from BB Locksmith. I have spent about $40 more dollars of work they did in order to resolve this, but I do not have the receipts.

Poor customer service and follow through of services
Poor customer service and follow through of services. I purchased a trailer in /may this year. I left the first day "approved" all paperwork signed, deposit paid, and balance of down payment due on delivery. I received a call the next week from finance stating they need the rest of my down payment. I returned that next weekend and paid the balance. A few days later started a week's long back and forth with the finance department stating that the finance fell through but he was still working on it. I ended up being told that I as a requirement of the finance company (due to COVID) I had to get an extended warranty and loan insurance. I should have walked away by this point but I did not. I agreed to the extras and delivery was planed. I went to do my walk though prior to delivery and due to COVID the person would not allow my sister (who owns a 5th wheel and knows what to look for and ask about, I am a first time buyer/owner) into the unit not even in the doorway. I had a note book trying my best to take notes and ask questions but was totally lost. He spent maybe a total of 10 minutes with me. While outside demonstrating the auto level it was discovered that the right front jack was not working properly. A mechanic came over and got it to work. When the unit arrived at my home the jack did not work properly. I called and Optium sent out a mechanic (Jason) who stated that it was "obliviously damaged and he would order the parts and personally come back and make sure it was fixed". I showed him that there was also a light fixture missing which he stated he would include in his report. Months go by, I call several times, also report that the ice maker in my freezer does not work, and am told that the parts are ordered but "due to COVID" parts are hard to get. Finally I think it was in September Jason comes out and replaced parts on the leveling jack and it is still not working. Jason stated "I can tell they had problems with it because it has been taken apart before". Jason stated that he needed the entire unit not the part her brought. The light fixture her brought was the wrong size, he stated he would bring a bigger one. He looked at the ice maker and tried to free the arm which broke, now I have to reach into the freezer (on the bottom of the fridge) in order to pull out the drawer because the icemaker arm is hanging down into the compartment. I have left several messages since this visit and have not heard from anyone at all. I feel like I have been more than reasonable in waiting for my repairs, or even the courtesy of a phone call with an update on the progress.

I am trying to cancel a contract because I was forced into using their bank and they added extra charges for an inferior product
I am trying to cancel a contract because I was forced into using their bank and they added extra charges for an inferior product. Feb. 22, 2021 To whom it may concern: I signed the papers at Optimum Rv in Ocala, Fl (XXX-XXX-XXXX) on a used travel trailer on Monday, Feb. 15, 2021. They said we needed to go thru their banks to get a better rate and I reluctantly agreed even thought I wanted to go thru my bank. After waiting about an hour or so they came back with 7.9% and I said my credit score was very good and it should be lower than that. They said they would try again. After waiting again they came and took us to another building and told us to get it from 7.9 to 7.74 we would need to purchase a vehicle protection plan from them and it would only cost about 25.00 per month. The plan would cover us for 5 years. They didn't tell me that it would add $4,070.00 extra and $284.94 in tax. They left again and came back with a stack of papers to sign. He showed me where to sign on each paper. When I got home that night and saw the original price had gone from $27,500.00 to $35,893.14. We made a down payment of $1,000.00 cash. I was sick on Tuesday, so I did not call. On Wednesday, I called and wanted to speak to a manager to cancel the contract and was told they were busy and in order to cancel I needed to send an email to [protected]@optimumrv.com. So I sent that at 10:11 am on Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2021. I didn't get a response, so we decided to go over. We waited about 2 1/2 hours to see a manager and then were taken to another building where there were no other customers. We were told that we had signed the papers and were stuck with it. We said we just wanted our money back because we didn't want it, it had too many things wrong with it. He asked what and he said he could replace the chairs that were ripped and get a new mattress. He also said we didn't have a leg to stand on and a lawyer couldn't help us. I called back on Thursday numerous times and was told that the managers were busy. I finally got thru to the financial guy, on Friday, Connor and told him I just wanted out of it, that if they could just cancel the contract even if they needed to keep my $1,000.00 to cover the costs of paperwork, I just wanted out of the whole thing. I emailed and called back to see what they decided and never received a call back or a response. Then Saturday night I finally received an email that said. Thank you for contacting us. A team member has been notified and will contact you as soon as possible. 2017 Rockwood Rv , Model *** VIN #***XXXXXXX, Stock *** Sales Rep; Victor, Manager: Jamie Down payment of $1,000.00 cash

I took my 2018 Statecraft Automridge 19BH travel trailer on April 21st it had water damage while in there hands front and side exterior had dent On April 21 I took my Travel Trailer because it had water damage. After several months and speaking with an employee (Kevin) and a Supervisor (Vinnie) I was told my unit was fixed. When I went to pick it up on July the floor was slanted ,metal under unit frame was cracked ,wall was not firm. inside was not clean in the working area and it had a front and side exterior dent that was caused there. Kevin told me he would need to speak with Vinnie and would call me the next business day. That afternoon I called and spoke with Vinnie and asked him if he had seen the trailer when he told me it was ready for pick up. He said he didn't take a detailed look at it but that Kevin told him what was wrong and they would fix it and to speak with Kevin from there on. Weeks later after calling and not hearing from Kevin I asked to speak with the store manager (Johnnie). I called several times and wasn't able to get a hold of Johnnie so I decided to stop by and speak to him in person. I explained to him what has been happening and he asked to see my trailer, and in the meantime tried to sell me a trailer. He said that they would work with me due to the inconvenience but that my trailer would get fixed either way. The sell for a new trailer didn't go through and I told him I just wanted my trailer fixed like if a professional did it and not me. Weeks go by and I call Johnnie for an update on my unit he didn't know but would get back with me. The following week I text Johnnie for an update again cause he never got back with me this happened for 3-4 more time till he passed me In August to Service manager (Rich) I explained to him what has been happening and he tells me he'll call me back. when he does he tells me the floor is fixed and he doesn't believe the exterior dents were caused there. we go back and forth and I told him that in the inspection sheet when I dropped my unit off their is no exterior dents and that Vinnie had agreed to fix it. he agreed to fix it but it would take 3 months to be fixed by December . on December I called for an update ask to speak with service department and I'm told that Kevin would call me back. days later I call again and told the same thing when he call me back I asked him for an update he tells me he needs to check with parts and puts me in hold. he gets back and tells me parts are in and they would get it in to work on it. I tell him to call me to keep me posted every Tuesday he agreed. following he calls me to tell me wrong parts were received Rv store ordered wrong size and they would need to contact different local metal sheet fabricator. following he calls back and checks with parts and tells me they need to check with another fabricator. following calls me back to inform me they are going with another Rv store and it would take another 3 months.

Don't Leave Your RV AT This Place Period!
Don't Leave Your RV AT This Place Period! I purchased a 2018 Sport Trec 336VRK Touring Edition on 6/9. I purchased the best extended warranty available. We used the RV around 11 times since we got it. We keep it parked away from trees and have it plugged in to electric to keep everything from dry rotting. We went on a camping trip in May and noticed we had a leak coming in on bedroom dresser, front A/C stopped working, and the furnace fan was stuck on and also noticed the canopy had pulled off the RV. So we connected Optimum RV to have it serviced. So when I called the service department and explained the RV had a leak coming in I was told it would be 3 weeks before I could bring it in due to Covid19. So we covered it up with a tarp until we could bring it in. I brought the RV in on 6/13 as scheduled and dropped it off to the service center and didn't have to sign anything when I left it. Well a week went by and I heard nothing so I called them. I spoke to a sales rep Vinnie and was told it still hadn't been looked at but he would take care of it himself and gave me his personal cell number and get back to me in a few days, never heard back so I called him. I left a message on his phone for him to give me an update. He called back later that day and told me that he had bad news. 1) the extended warranty didn't cover water damage but would cover the A/C and the furnace but the water damage would be over $10K and that if I was considering a new RV this was the time to do it. So I called my insurance company and a claims adjuster went out twice to look at the damage and told me that he couldn't see more than $850.00 worth of damage. I was totally frustrated with Vinnie at this point. So my insurance company asked for a detailed estimate and I did the same so we both could see this 10K in damages. After another week I called Vinnie again about the estimate and he finally sent me a estimate that had no dollar figures on it just time. On 7/9 I went out to the dealership due to Vinnie or the General Manager Johnny wouldn't return my calls or emails or the insurance companies request. So when I arrived I spoke to Vinnie who had every excuse in the world that he didn't get any emails or phone calls from anyone "Flat Out Liar". So I asked Vinnie where my RV was located and he told me out on the dirt hill. So I asked him why it wasn't in a covered area, he told me because they didn't have the room. Well at that time I was furious because we have water leaking in and it had been storming all the time it was in there care. I then asked him if he had the RV locked as I requested in the beginning due to we had a lot of valuables inside. So after looking for my RV in the hot 95 degree sun for about 30 minutes I found it in a totally different area than what I was told. It was behind the service bays parked on unlevel ground and unlocked, the blood pressure was sky high at this point. I went in to make sure things were still there and to get up to date photos of the water damage. We went from a small bubble on the dresser to half way across. I looked at the canopy at it was separated even more. I went and demanded to speak with the general manger Johnny and he acted like he knew nothing but he would call me the next day with an update. In the process of all this the service manager Paul said he could have my RV brought back to my house so I told Johnny I would take him up on his offer so the RV wasn't sitting in the rain anymore. Well in short that didn't happen nor did Johnny ever call me back. I waited thinking maybe they were replacing the A/C and Furnace. So on 7/13 the following Monday I called to ask Johnny why my RV wasn't brought to my home and again he acted like he didn't know what was going on and he would call me right back he would check on the status. He never called me back. So I called his office on the next day 7/14 to be told he wasn't in today. My Lawyer will have a field day with Optimum RV. Stay FAR AWAY FROM THESE CON ARTEST.

Purchased an RV, 4 days later I was informed I signed documents for vehicle I never seen, and vehicle I thought I bought was sold/or pay more for it. Saturday 3/13 Purchased an RV, Andre was our salesman and Dominic did the financing, was told the RV was a 2018 Thor MC Freedom Elite with 13,000+ miles, left RV to be detailed, to be delivered Friday 3/19 at 1:00pm. Took videos of my new vehicle to show everyone. Went four days planning for the RV, selling a car, buying accessories, Tuesday 3/16, I received a message from Andre that I needed to give him a call, that he made a "huge, huge, huge mistake". When I returned his call he told me I bought the wrong vehicle, I said just change the paperwork and I will re-sign, he informed "I could not buy the freedom Elite because it's $20,000 more, than the one bought. He said what I bought was a Four Winds, the same vehicle layout but more mileage (33,000+) and has a few issues, but if I want it we could fix the paperwork." (Going back to date of signing for RV, I questioned the name of the vehicle with Dominic and was told it had to go by name from VIN. How was I to know the VIN was wrong so I signed.) I told Andre, I want the vehicle I drove, inspected and agreed to buy at the price I was told it was. (Going back to date of sale, I had questioned Andre several times if he was sure that it was $46,999, it seemed unbelievable, I told Andre don't tease me with higher priced RV's) Andre informed me that the Freedom Elite was sold so I couldn't buy it now anyways." I could not believe what I was hearing. My RV HAS BEEN SOLD. Now he wants me to buy a vehicle I've never seen. I told him I don't want the wrong RV and refund my $2,000 deposit. The next day I received a call from the GM, Jaime, who said he was "completely in the dark about which vehicle I thought I bought" so I gave him the info and he said he would do his best to fix this mistake and get back to me. How can you fix this I said. He said he would do his best to make it right. I waited four hours and heard nothing. I contacted him via text and asked what's going on and was told there's "nothing he can do, they can't take a $25,000 hit for a mistake made by a salesman". (4 hours to figure that out, I was told that by Andre the night before, so why did Jaime call me in the first place.) I informed him that I was contacting Complaintsboard.com, so that this heartbreak never happens to another person, told him to make sure Andre refunded the $2000. Jaime then tells me "how much are you willing to pay so I know how much I have to eat so I can take it to my boss" (Remember Andre said it was sold) I was floored it wasn't sold, now they want more money for a mistake I never made, to buy an RV I already thought I bought. I told him I was done dealing with them and that I would be taking this to the Complaintsboard.com so that consumers can be forewarned about Optimum's untrained staff and the heartbreak it brought. He took it as I either wanted my RV or I was going to the Complaintsboard.com ( like blackmail, shame on you Jaime) I said no to his offer for more money and said refund my $2000, I also asked him if my loan at Vystar is cancelled, as I have a payment due in April and he said "no it's never left the office". Much to my dismay I got a call from my Vystar account manager on Friday 3/19 asking me if I had any questions concerning my loan or membership. Had to go over the whole ordeal again, very confusing to explain, hurtful, and embarrassing. Contacted Jaime 3/20 as to why he misinformed me about Vystar and still no confirmation for refund. He informed me he is "no longer the person to assist me, upper management would now be involved". 3/20. Upper management got involved, everything is resolved, no loan, money to be deposited soon, all's well that ends well, right? Well all except for the dream of owning the RV I agreed to buy, at the price agreed upon, with only one winner in the end, Optimum RV. So buyer beware, don't shop there or at least check your VIN, and hey, Optimum RV put pictures with the paperwork so this NEVER, EVER happens to anyone else. Not smiling here!

False advertisement and shady sales practices and not full filling agreement as promised
False advertisement and shady sales practices and not full filling agreement as promised. Not completing the repairs properly as promised. We were offered $25K for our used RV as trade for another used RV. There were several things that needed fixed on the new RV and a new awning was supposed to be installed over the back slide out. When we arrived on the agreed upon date (7/21) after driving for an hour, they said the RV was not ready. This was 2 weeks after the purchase of the RV and after we paid in full for it. We had already put done $1K to hold it for us, but Drake wanted the rest of the money up front because we were paying cash. He said it was because they had to do repairs and were going to use the money for the repairs. They said they called twice but none of our phones showed any calls from them. The manager took my phone number again and said he would call me Monday morning with an update, he never called. After several phone calls to various people and always getting their voice mails and one even hung up on me, the original salesman finally got back to me, on his day off. He said it would be ready on Tuesday 7/31. They had someone stay late and give us a walk around and there were several things that were not fixed as promised. The shower head was still loose, the new slide awning, that we paid for up front, was not installed and the gas tank was not filled as promised. During the walk around, Drake interrupted and said that our trade came back as a different year, which to be honest, we had the wrong year on the form, it was a 2008 and we had 2009. He said that the difference in trade value was $5K and if we wanted the new RV we would have to come up $5K, mind you that this is as we are walking around the new RV that we already paid for. He said that they don't run the VIN numbers on a cash deal until just before the customer takes delivery of the new RV. He also said that he didn't have the VIN number until that day, which is a lie because the first day we went and looked at the new RV, I text the salesman the VIN number of the trade when we got back home. They needed it for the paperwork, he said. This was on 7/11 that I sent in the VIN number. This gave them 3 weeks to check this number and get an accurate trade-in value but they didn't. When i confronted Drake and told him that he had the VIN number for 3 weeks, that's when he changed his story and said that on a cash deal they don't run the number until the paperwork is signed. Our trade went from $25K to $20K on the day we took delivery which is a shady thing to do. He did not offer to show us any paperwork of our trade and the actual value, he just said he ran the numbers and that is what it came back as. Now, when we showed up on the original delivery date of 7/21 and the RV was not ready, we had brought our trade-in. After they told us that it was not ready, I told them that I wanted them to do a walk around of our trade-in to make sure we were not going to be hit with more money and that the trade-in would be worth what they said it was going to be. Drake was one of the people that did the walk around and said it was good to go, no issues with the trade-in value. But yet when we picked up the new RV, it was suddenly not worth the original value. We had the new RV for a day and a half and the slide out quit working with a motor fault. This was the reason we could not take delivery of it on the original date. They said they fixed it, but when a contracted tech came out to fix it, he said that the motor was not replaced and that they (Optimum) had just used tape to repair the top of the motor and hold it together. Optimum has yet to return any of my calls to see when they are going to install the $500.00 awning that we paid for. I have attached a screen shot of the NADA page showing the actual value of our trade-in and it's over $27K. Optimum has radio commercials running right now and when we bought our new RV, stating that they will give FULL trade-in value of your trade towards a purchase of a new or used RV. I want the awning and $7K back for our trade.

We purchased a new coach in February 2023 and it needed work. The Manager has lied and has been unhelpful. Issues are unresolved. They will not communicate with us. We had to go to another rv company for help.
