Oriental Trading Company Fun Rewards Monthly Charge

DO NOT purchase anything from this website. I was so excited to find items for my sons birthday party. I ended up purchasing multiple items totaling under $10. I check my bank statement as this purchase was 4 months ago and i have been charged $14.95 monthly. The customer service associate told me I signed up at the bottom of the checkout page during my purchase. This is a SCAM they get you to "AGREE" to their terms and conditions but what they really get you to agree to is a monthly subscription. The customer service rep for "FUN REWARDS" was RUDE.

Recommendation: Do NOT purchase from this website unless you want random monthly charges.

Oriental Trading Company Items were exactly as shown online and shipping was fast

My order of of 6 different sets of items was placed on 12/5/16 and was shipped out thru UPS Surepost on 12/6/16. It was scheduled to arrived by 12/12/16, but I actually received it on 12/9/16! This was my first time ordering from Oriental Trading Company and I am very impressed with the entire process. The items I received were exactly as shown online and the shipping was super quick! I will definitely be happy to order from them again!

Oriental Trading Company Excellent everything!

I have ordered from this company many times for various crafts, gifts items and so on. Never had an issue. However I recently order three tropical tumbler glasses for an upcoming trip, 1 of the tumblers shipped had the straw broken off, I emailed customer service, within the hour they replied I had a choice to receive a credit or they will ship a new one at no charge! I could not believe it. This day in age customer care and service is lax so I am VERY happy with Oriental Trading in their products and service. A WIN WIN for all. Thanks

Oriental Trading Company Got Married in July

My husband and I got married in July. We wanted to do candy buffet at our wedding so we ordered threw Oriental Trading. My candy buffet turned out beautiful. I love it so much. I ordered glass jars to hold the candy, I ordered the candy and personalized ribbons with our name and wedding date. The candy buffet was a hit at the wedding.
I had no problem with shipping, and even received my order a few days early. With that said though I did order my supplies in like April or May. I received free shipping on my order with a coupon :) Very happy. I will most likely be ordering from them again.

Oriental Trading Company Worked Perfectly For Me!

I ordered on 4/18 a variety of items for my end-of-May wedding. Just to give some examples, the buttermints, personalized totes and a wedding cake topper (also personalized). My only qualms with them was their site didn't update the tracking information well - said half the items were coming in 1 shipment, the rest in another. Come 4/23, received one giant box with everything I ordered, the personalizations all correct, the items all correct and exactly as described. I am sure this company is like any other online company, as far as the ability to get the wrong items, have them take to long, etc. But I felt people should know, that isn't necessarily every time. I would do business with them again in a heartbeat.

Oriental Trading Company They have been a charm to work with

They have been a charm to work with. I order stuff for my sister's babyshower. USPS lost the package and they worked with me to a replacement. Some stuff was out of stock so they sent me more expensive stuff free of charge. (overnight shipping. All Free!). The day they sent it out, USPS left a yellow sticker for me asking for postage. I called them back and they said they would refund the $9.60 once I get the package. It is more important for them that I get my original package. The next day, I went to the post office and it was an error that they needed postage. I got my original and the other package too.

The executives are a charm to work with and try their best to resolve your problem. All this for an order of just $50. Would recommend them 200%

Oriental Trading Company Disappointing Experience with Oriental Trading Company for Wedding Supplies

I gotta say, I was pretty excited to order some stuff from Oriental Trading Company for my wedding. I mean, they sent me so many catalogs in the mail, I figured they must be pretty legit. But boy, was I wrong.

First of all, I only got one out of two packages I was supposed to receive. And even in that one package, they messed up my order! Three of the items were for another couple, who were getting married just three days after I got the package. Can you believe that? They even had a customized lawn sign with their photo and everything. I felt so bad for them, I actually shed a few tears.

So, my mom called customer service to try and sort things out. And let me tell you, it was a long talk. The guy on the other end of the line didn't seem to have a clue what to do. My mom had to suggest that he contact the other couple to try and fix the situation. I mean, come on, dude. You work for a company that specializes in weddings. You should know how to handle this stuff.

And that's not even the worst of it. My stepmom ordered some stickers from the site to use on my favor bags, and they sent her the wrong ones. She had to reorder and wait even longer to get them. It's just ridiculous.

Now, I'm still waiting for my reshipped order to arrive. It's only been five days, so I'm trying to stay hopeful. But honestly, I think I'll just go to a party store for my next event. This whole fiasco has been way too stressful.

Oriental Trading Company Be cautious of Oriental Trading Company's hidden charges and poor customer service

I had to talk to customer service twice about getting my money back from Oriental Trading Company. They charged me $16 randomly, two months after I bought a costume from them. They said I signed up for a subscription, but I know I didn't. Why would I? I didn't plan on buying anything else from them, and I didn't get anything from them to warrant a subscription. Plus, they didn't charge me for any "subscription" the previous month. I'd be very careful with this site. I got my costume, but I also paid an arm and a leg for shipping, $40. If you do buy something, make sure you remove your card right after you buy it.

They also try to use "business days" to make it seem like 2-3 days is longer than a normal day. They told me I'd get my refund in 2-3 days, but when I called 3 days later (today), they said it would take 3-5 business days. It hasn't been the weekend, so I don't know why they said "business days" twice. As of now, I still haven't gotten my refund, so we'll see if it even happens.

Oriental Trading Company Terrible Experience with Water Bottle Label Company - Incorrect Personalization and Unreasonable Return Policy

I put in an order a few moons ago for some water bottle labels for my wedding that's coming up this year. They charged me what they should have, and then a day later I get a call saying they weren't doing my order... no explanation. So I waited a few moons, thinking that maybe the stock or something wasn't there. So I put in my order a week ago, got the package yesterday and the 250 labels I purchased to be personalized were completely wrong. I customized them to read mine and my fiance's name and the date of our wedding in a brown color. When I opened the box, all of the labels only had the word "and" and a black line. Completely wrong and not what I had paid for. Who would order 250 blank water bottle labels? Did they think I wanted to "write" in the names on every single one? I immediately called customer support and told him I would like my money back... to sum up the rest he tried to tell me I HAD to pay for my return shipping label! I put my foot down and said I am NOT paying for the return label. He found a way to waive the $6.99 shipping charge and they are refunding me for my order minus the $25.00 shipping fee. Terrible experience and will never be ordering from this company ever again.

Oriental Trading Company Oriental Trading Company: Worst Company Ever!

So, my daughter's birthday is coming up in just two weeks and I was on the hunt for some carnival decorations. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any local stores that carried what I was looking for, so I decided to give Oriental Trading Company a call. They assured me that if I paid for the most expensive shipping option, which was $65, my order would definitely arrive within the week. Feeling relieved, I placed my order and went to bed.

The next morning, I woke up to an email from Oriental Trading Company saying that there were shipping restrictions and that my order had been cancelled. At least they didn't charge me, right? But when I called to ask what they couldn't ship so I could order the rest, the lady on the phone told me that it didn't matter which shipping option I chose and paid for because it would take the same amount of time, which was two weeks. So why did I pay $65 for "express" shipping?

Feeling frustrated, I decided not to reorder and started looking for somewhere else to buy decorations. But later that day, I noticed that $200 had been taken out of my bank account. Confused and angry, I called Oriental Trading Company to ask for a refund since they had cancelled my order and told me they wouldn't charge me. They told me that the money would be back in my account in 3-5 days.

What a joke. Now I don't even have the money in my account to buy decorations locally. I'm beyond upset and disappointed. This is hands down the worst company I've ever dealt with and I will never order from them again. Save yourself the hassle and find a better website that won't screw you over for your events.

Oriental Trading Company Disappointed with Oriental Trading Company's Service and Communication

I recently made an order on Oriental Trading Company's website, orientaltrading.com, and I must say, I was not impressed with their service. I placed my order on the 4th and the estimated delivery date was the 12th. I kept checking the website to see if my items had shipped, but to my dismay, nothing had been sent out yet.

After five days of waiting, I decided to call their customer service department to inquire about my order. The representative informed me that my items had not yet shipped, but the delivery date was still set for the 12th. I expressed my concern about the possibility of my order arriving late, but the representative offered to overnight my package for an additional fee of $32.99.

I agreed to the overnight option and provided the necessary payment information. However, I was informed that my package would not be shipped until the following day, which meant that it would arrive in two days instead of the promised overnight delivery. I expressed my disappointment with the customer service representative, stating that it was poor business practice to charge for overnight shipping when it would not actually arrive until two days later.

The representative explained that they needed time to process the order, but I argued that they had already been processing it for five days. I requested that they try to find my package and ship it out overnight as promised. The representative assured me that she would do her best to expedite the process.

However, shortly after our conversation, I received an email from the customer service director stating that it was possible my package would not arrive for two days. I was extremely disappointed with the poor service and lack of communication from Oriental Trading Company.

As a loyal customer for years, I have decided that this will be the last time I order from them. I will now be sticking to Rhode Island novelty for my party supplies and decorations. Overall, I would not recommend Oriental Trading Company to anyone looking for reliable and efficient service.

Oriental Trading Company Terrible Customer Service and Billing Issues with Oriental Trading Company

I had a really bad experience with Oriental Trading Company. My wife ordered some birthday supplies from them in April 2017 and then in May 2018, she ordered some new birthday party supplies. But then, two weeks later, on May 17, 2017, I got an email from the company saying that we owed them $57 for a purchase we made in April 2017. I was really confused because I didn't remember making any purchase in April 2017 and I knew that the company wouldn't just ship stuff out to us without getting payment first.

So, I called the company to find out what was going on. I got a message back from their accounting department saying that they had placed a credit card authorization on my card back in April 2017 but apparently never actually charged my card. While I was trying to figure out if my card was even charged or not, they sent me multiple emails with an invoice seeking immediate payment and even sent a letter to my house saying that they would seek legal action if the amount was not paid in full within 2 weeks. I mean, seriously? They messed up, didn't charge my card, shipped the products to me, and then over a year later sent threatening letters to my house. It was ridiculous.

I have no problem paying for something I ordered, but I want to at least first confirm what card they placed an authorization on just to make sure that there was no charge actually made on that card. We will not be shopping here again. The customer service was terrible and they were really unhelpful. It's really disappointing because I had heard good things about this company before, but now I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

Oriental Trading Company Disappointing Service: My Experience with Oriental Trading Company

I recently made a purchase from Oriental Trading Company for some crafts that I needed for a kids event at my business. I placed my order on a Monday night and paid extra for shipping to ensure that it would arrive by Friday. I was really excited to receive my package on time, so I tracked it every day a couple of times to make sure it was still on schedule. However, on Friday at 2pm, I received a notification that the delivery date had been changed to Monday! I was so frustrated because I needed the package in less than two days.

I immediately called Oriental Trading Company to see if they could help me out. They were able to fix my problem and refunded my extra shipping charge, which was a relief. They also offered to reship a new order, which would arrive by Saturday. They asked me to call back on Friday night after 8pm to confirm that it had shipped. I did as they asked, and they confirmed that it had shipped and would arrive on Saturday.

However, when I checked on Saturday morning, I found out that only half of my shipment was going to be delivered because the other items were out of stock! I was really upset because I didn't receive any notification via email or call letting me know that only half of my order was coming. If I hadn't checked that morning, I would have been completely screwed for my event the next day.

I had to find time in between work that day and work that night to find a new craft for 50 kids for the event. It was really frustrating and stressful, and I felt like Oriental Trading Company completely screwed up my order and my event. I was really disappointed with their service and felt like their business sucks.

Overall, I would not recommend Oriental Trading Company to anyone who needs their order to arrive on time and in full. They need to improve their communication and customer service if they want to keep their customers happy.

Oriental Trading Company Disappointing Experience with Oriental Trading's Expedited Shipping and Customer Service

I recently ordered from Oriental Trading Company for a Christmas party and decided to pay for expedited shipping for December 12th. However, when the day came, nothing was delivered. I checked the tracking and it showed that it would be delivered on December 13th. Then the tracking showed that it was out for delivery at 10:09 am on December 13th. However, by 8 pm on December 13th, nothing had arrived.

I called Oriental Trading Customer Service and was disappointed with their response. They basically told me that it was not their problem since they are not the carrier for delivery. I paid for expedited shipping, but it seemed like it was a joke on their site. If a customer is disappointed or upset, the mighty Oriental Trading Customer Service will only refund the shipping cost or issue a $25 store certificate.

I was not satisfied with their response and decided that I will never buy from them again. They suggested that I call UPS instead. I called UPS and they told me that during the Christmas season, drivers work late and stay up until midnight. They asked me to wait and call back if nothing was delivered. However, nothing was delivered and the tracking miraculously changed from "out for delivery" on December 13th to "in transit" on December 13th. Now, the delivery is scheduled for Monday, December 16th, because the UPS San Jose Hub only opens 5 days a week.

This has been a nightmare. Unless you don't care much about whatever you are purchasing from them, I would never trust them as a supplier for parties or important events. Even when Oriental Trading doesn't deliver even if you pay for expedited shipping, no worries, they have a just as inefficient carrier who doubles down and ensures that whatever you have planned is a failure!

Oriental Trading Company Oriental Trading Company Goes Above and Beyond for St Patrick's Day Goodie Bags!

I've ordered from OTC a bunch of times and they've never let me down, but this last order I put in was something else! I'm a School Crossing Guard and I like to make little "goodie bags" for "my" kids. For St Patrick's Day, I ordered a bunch of candy items for the bags but when they got here, one of them had an expiration date of June 2015! I called them up and they told me to toss the old candy and they'd send me a new bag and it'd be here by March 9. But it didn't come by March 9 so I went to the website to track the order and found out it had been delivered on March 11! It wasn't delivered to ME, so I called the post office. To make a long story short, the package had been delivered to the wrong branch of our local post offices, so instead of sending it to MY post office, they sent it back to OTC! How dumb can people be?! I called up OTC to see if they could send it back, and not only did they send it back, they express-shipped it so #1, it would get to me in time for St Patrick's Day, and #2, our brainy post office wouldn't be involved in any way! The candy got here on Thursday, I put it in the goodie bags, and the kids loved it! It was the "Pot O' Gold" candy packets- and each little piece of candy has a shamrock stamped on it! The kids thought it was really cool! So thanks a lot, Oriental Trading Company, and your employees, for helping make our St Paddy's Day a success! You're the best!

Oriental Trading Company Oriental Trading Company's Halloween Costume Delivery Disaster

Me and my daughter, who's 11 years old, ordered her Halloween costume from Oriental Trading Company's website 10 days before Halloween. We couldn't find it in any stores, so we had to order it online. My daughter decided to spend her own money to upgrade the delivery, so it would arrive 4 days ahead of the 31st. We were excited to receive the package, but the day after the expected delivery, we checked our shipping confirmation and tried to track the order. The confirmation said UPS, but when we checked with UPS, they had no tracking order matching that. We were confused and worried, so we called customer service.

The customer service agent told us that it was actually Fed Ex and they showed it was in route. We were relieved to hear that, but that evening, after still no delivery, I checked the Fed Ex site and couldn't find any documentation past that it was scanned and left the warehouse. I called yet again, inquiring about the whereabouts of the package, and the customer service agent said she called Fed Ex and it was on the truck. They were running late on deliveries, and she was hearing from other customers that they were delivering as late as 9 PM. We were frustrated but hopeful that we would receive the package soon.

Finally, yesterday, I had enough and called again. After speaking with 3 different agents and getting the same run around even from each one's supervisor, I FINALLY got the story that it was a lost package, and they weren't even sure if it had left the warehouse! With only 2 days until Halloween, I asked for them to contact the warehouse and have one overnight delivery to us. The response was that it would never happen because they had to package them in the order received, and we would be too late for them to get one out to us. Besides, they found that the costume was SOLD OUT!

I was furious and devastated. To have an 11-year-old SOBBING because of this debauchery after doing everything right is heartbreaking. Thanks for taking the Boo in Halloween and making it Boo Hoo! I will tell anyone who will listen what a S#%T company this is!

Oriental Trading Company WORST Experience EVER!

My 11yr old and I ordered her Halloween costume from this website 10 days before Halloween (it wasn't available in any stores). Oriental Trading Company Delivery fees

I just placed order not more than a hour ago.it said my order qualifies for free delivery but at the check out it said $10.00 fee for over size delivery . Didn't know 1 bag of candy may be ,5 lbs ann 2 /18 count of popcorn balls may be another 4-5 lbs was over size .could have got this from Amazon or Walmart for less but I ordered from this place this not the first time I ordered from here and never paid attention to this at check out all I want to know is how this is free delivery may check past orders may I got a refund coming back to me

Oriental Trading Company Mixed Experience with Oriental Trading Company: Great Products, Sneaky Subscription

I recently made a purchase from Oriental Trading Company and overall, I was satisfied with the product I received. They had a lot of offers for free shipping and coupons, which was great at first. However, when I went to check out, there were additional conditions that I didn't expect. It was a bit frustrating, but I decided to just pay the extra amount and move on.

After my purchase, I received an email saying that I had signed up for a subscription. I was confused because I didn't remember signing up for anything like that. When I tried to contact them, the email bounced back and it took me a while to find the right person to talk to. Eventually, I was able to get in touch with someone and they cancelled the subscription for me. However, I had already paid for two months of a subscription that I didn't even sign up for. I felt like this was a bit sneaky and dishonest on their part.

Despite this issue, I still think that Oriental Trading Company has a lot of great products and deals. I just wish that they were more upfront about their subscription offers and didn't make it so difficult to cancel them. Overall, I would still recommend them to others, but with a warning to be careful when checking out and to keep an eye out for any unexpected charges.

Oriental Trading Company Disappointing Experience with Oriental Trading Company: Delayed Shipping, Double Charges, and Poor Quality Merchandise

I recently made a purchase on Oriental Trading Company's website for my daughter-in-law's baby shower. At first, I was pleased with how quickly my first order arrived. However, my second order was taking longer than expected. To my dismay, when I received my credit card statement, I noticed that they had charged me twice for the order, including the additional $10.00 fee. I immediately called customer service to complain and was told that they had voided the first charge and that I should see it reflected in my account within 24 hours. However, I continued to see the charge on my account for five days, resulting in $105 in overdraft fees.

To make matters worse, the quality of the merchandise I received wasn't even that good. I was extremely disappointed with my experience and will not be shopping with Oriental Trading Company again.

Oriental Trading Company Disappointing Experience with Oriental Trading Company: False Advertising and Sneaky Rewards Program

I recently made a purchase from Oriental Trading Company, specifically the orientaltrading.com website, and I have to say, I was not entirely satisfied with my experience. I had purchased a 6-foot Mando poster for a co-worker who was leaving, but to my disappointment, the poster was not actually 6 feet. It was more like 5 feet and 10 inches. I mean, come on, if you advertise something as 6 feet, it better be 6 feet!

But that's not even the worst part. Imagine my surprise when I saw a charge of $14.95 from a company called Fun Rewards Program on my credit card statement. And guess who that company is? You guessed it, Oriental Trading Company. Apparently, if you make a purchase from them, they automatically sign you up for this rewards program without any warning or email. And they use the same credit card you used to make your purchase. I was not happy about this at all.

When I called to cancel and get a refund, the lady on the phone made me give all my information before she would even consider canceling and refunding my money. I could tell she deals with these calls all the time. It was frustrating and unnecessary.

Overall, I was disappointed with my experience with Oriental Trading Company. While I appreciate the variety of products they offer, the false advertising and sneaky rewards program left a bad taste in my mouth. I probably won't be making any future purchases from them.

So, I recently made a purchase on orientaltrading.com and I have to say, I was a bit disappointed with my experience. I didn't read the fine print and ended up being enrolled in a program called "fun rewards" without even realizing it. This program had nothing to do with the name of the company and I was charged $14.99 for it. It took me a while to figure out where this charge was coming from, but eventually, I traced it back to the Oriental Trading Company.

I was pretty upset about this, but I was able to get the charge removed after some back and forth with customer service. However, I have to say, the way they handled it was pretty sneaky. They waited a few weeks after my item was delivered to charge me and the name of the charge on my credit card statement wasn't even the name of the company. It was almost like they were hoping I wouldn't notice the charge.

I got the impression that this happens a lot because the customer service representative didn't even argue with me or ask any questions about the "fun rewards" program. Oriental Trading Company Oriental Trading Company's $10 Rebate Scam: My Experience

So, I gotta say, I had a pretty big order with Oriental Trading Company and I was feeling pretty good about it. I mean, I've done business with them before and they've always been pretty solid. But then, I saw this page that offered a $10 rebate if I joined up with them. Now, I'm not one to turn down a good deal, so I clicked yes. And that's when things started to get a little weird.

They told me they were gonna use my credit card from the order I just placed. Now, hold up a minute. I didn't give them permission to use my card and I sure as heck didn't keep it on file. And then they hit me with the kicker - they were gonna charge me $14.95 a month to be a member. What kind of nonsense is that?

So, I called them out on their scam. And you know what they said? They tried to tell me it wasn't a scam! Can you believe that? I mean, if it wasn't a scam, why didn't they provide the information up front before someone hit the join button? They didn't have an answer for that one, let me tell you.

I talked to everyone from the rewards organization to a supervisor at Oriental Trading Company, and you know what they all said? They couldn't immediately remove my card and cancel. Instead, they would "make a request" for my removal. Yeah, right. I want my credit card removed from their system and I don't want to be charged a fee I didn't authorize.

Overall, I'm pretty disappointed with Oriental Trading Company. I thought they were better than this. But I guess you can't trust anyone these days.

I had a bit of a rough experience with Oriental Trading Company. I had placed an order for some party supplies and after 10 days, I still hadn't received any updates on the status of my order. I decided to reach out to their tech support team to see if they could give me any information. They did respond quickly, which was nice, but unfortunately, they informed me that my order had not been processed yet. They did assure me that I would receive an email with a tracking number once my order was shipped.

Fast forward almost a month later, and I still hadn't received my order. I was getting really close to the date of the party where I needed the supplies, so I decided to reach out to their support team again. This time, they informed me that my order had to be cancelled. I was pretty frustrated at this point, especially since I had not been informed of this until I reached out to them again. However, they did tell me that I would be getting my money back.

I was relieved to hear that, but I couldn't help but wonder if I would have even gotten my money back if I hadn't followed up with them. It was definitely a disappointing experience, and I don't think I'll be using their services again in the future.

I recently made a purchase from Oriental Trading Company, specifically 720 personalized mini flying disks for a parade. I was excited to receive my order, but when it arrived, I noticed that the stickers they included with my shop name and town were incorrect. My town name is three words long, with the middle word being 'du.' However, they mistakenly put 'de' instead, which was a huge mistake as the name was already abbreviated.

I immediately contacted their customer service team to request new stickers with the correct spelling. However, they refused to send me new stickers and instead suggested that I return the items for a refund. I was extremely disappointed with their response, as it was their mistake, and I needed the correct items for the parade in just four days.

Despite my frustration, I decided to attach the incorrect stickers to the mini flying disks and participate in the parade. Unfortunately, the incorrect spelling made my town name unrecognizable, which was a huge letdown for me. Oriental Trading Company Unsecured Transactions: My Experience with Oriental Trading Company's Credit Card Processing

I recently had an experience with Oriental Trading Company that left me feeling uneasy. I decided to make a purchase on their website and instead of using PayPal, I disclosed my credit card information. To my surprise, just two days after my purchase, my credit card was used on three different online sites with a total of $600. This was very suspicious because Oriental Trading Company was the only company that I gave my credit card information to, including my billing address and CSV/expiration date.

When I referred to their website, I noticed that they claim to have secure credit card processing. They state that their website is equipped with Secure Socket Layer (SSL) software, which means that all personal data you send them, including your name, address, and credit card information, is encrypted during the transmission process and can only be read by their Customer Service Department. However, I am now left wondering if their Customer Service Department is qualified enough to handle such confidential information. Did they pass background checks to be able to handle confidential information?

I am currently dealing with credit card disputes and it has been a hassle to sort everything out. I am disappointed that I had to go through this experience and I hope that Oriental Trading Company takes a closer look at their security measures to ensure that their customers' information is protected. While their website claims that shopping with them is 100% secure and guaranteed, my experience has left me feeling uncertain about their security measures.

Oriental Trading Company Fun Rewards program

I purchased products from oriental trading company totaling $180.00 in September of 2021. Oriental trading company started

Charging my credit card $14.95 seven months later. Unfortunately, I did not notice until my card had been charged 12 times! I have tried to get this resolved. They are willing to return 6 months charges.

I did not agree to the charges!

1. My order was for $180.00 therefore I did not need a fun rewards incentive of free shipping.

2. Had I agreed to the program, I would have had 30 days free AND then be billed 30 days later (in October of 2021). The charges started in April of 2022!

Desired outcome: I would like the entire amount returned to me!

Oriental Trading Company Unauthorized monthly charge of $14.95

I made a purchasefrom Orienta Trading Company on Feb 2022. Then fast forward to last week when I received a new credit card, I received a fault alert for a payment of $14.95. That prompted me to check my credit card bill. There was a charge by OTC Brands Inc for $14.95. I called OTC and they told me I was subscribed for a Fun Reward Plus program. I told them I never signed up for it. They said I needed to call Fun Reward Plus. I called them. They said I was subscribed for their whe I made the purchase with OTC on Feb 2022. They have been charging my credit card $14.95 monthly without my consent since March 2022. They even doubled charged me on Dec 2022. I requested for full refund. They only refunded me for 6 months. The customer service rep said she needed to send an escalated note to the upper management for the rest of the refunds. They said response takes 48 hours. I never received any follow up. I calld again today asking for follow up. The customer service rep told me if I didn't get a response thar means my request was declined. I requested for a full regund but the customer service rep said there's nothing else she can help. When I asked for upper management's contact info, she said there is none. They charged me $14.95 for 11 times, only refunded for 6 months. I still eed to get my 5 months' subscription money back.

Desired outcome: Get full refund immediately. They still owe me 5x$14.95=$74.75.

Oriental Trading Company I would like a sincere apology

These guys are all about the bait n' switch. Recently, I received an offer of a $10 e-gift card, "because we missed you!". I went on the website, found a couple of items I liked, set up payment via PayPal, applied the gift card, and made the purchase. Next day, PayPal sends a notice, that Oriental Trading had nearly doubled the charge, and taken it from my PayPal account. The original charge was for $9.77, and suddenly was at $19.44! When I contacted Oriental Trading's customer service chat, the representative told me that this was because PayPal is weird and glitchy about gift cards, and that >they< overcharged me. (I am a seller on eBay, as well as a vendor online, and KNOW that this is not true. I have worked with PayPal from nearly the very beginning of their operations. The vendor tells PayPal what to take, not vice-versa.) He then assured me that I would be refunded the $10. Got my refund today... but it's for $9.67. Math may not be my strong suit, but that is NOT a $10 refund.

I would normally not be that ticked, but honestly, this is not my first rodeo with this company. This is not about the $.33 difference between the correct refund amount and what I actually received, it's the fact that I had to chase them about this, got lied to, and then got a partial refund, adding insult to injury. I didn't shop with them for a long time after being burned before, with goods that were NOT what they were pictured or described as, and other dishonest practices. I will never do business with these people again, and I can guarantee that everyone I know will know about this incident, as well as the others. It really was the last straw.

By the way - I have PDF's of the transactions, the gift card code, AND the full transcript of the conversation with their customer service agent, James, as well as the original email that offered the gift card in the first place. Since they are not in the format accepted by this site, I cannot upload them, but would be more than happy to share all of this, should you need it.

Oriental Trading Company child’s native american vest craft kit

I was really shocked when I saw this product on page 71 of the oriental trading crafts winter catalog. This product is completely disrespectful and racist. Long gone are the days when it was appropriate to "dress up as Native American, " and I urge you to stay relevant and culturally responsive by removing this product from your catalog.

Oriental Trading Company Frustrating

Untrustworthy. It is what it is.
Very disappointed. I wanted to correct my order as I ordered something wrong, but to do so I needed to contact their customer service which is as unreachable as a morning star. I made several attempts to talk to them. But it brought a zero result. Then I sent them several emails and got the same.
I don't know what to do. I understand that I will get an order with an item I don't need (I wanted to replace it with their help). And if this company was fine, I would ship it back. But I realize it will be impossible and I will have to keep it to myself...

Oriental Trading Company melted candy

I purchased chocolate that was fully broken. I thought I had to tell their customer support about it and ask them what to do, maybe they would offer something, who knows. True, they agreed to resend sweets. But what I received was absolutely the same. Everything was crushed.
What am I do to? Call them again and ask them to send more chocolate? I don't think they will send something different.
Out of money and sweets. Simply bad, guys.

Oriental Trading Company Delivery and processing of order took a lot of time

I bought party’s supplies from www.orientaltrading.com. I placed the order and the seller charged me within 30 minutes, but my order was in process within 7 days. Within this time, the seller didn’t provide any info or confirmation email. After that I waited 3 weeks and finally received the order, which was in bad condition. Please leave comments about this company, because people should be aware when they buy from such dishonest seller.

Oriental Trading Company Beware

I ordered Christmas party thermometer goods for a 1st grade party and was hit with charges from Easy Saver on my Visa. Luckily, I caught it before it hit a third month and Easy Saver said they would reverse the charges which totalled $35! But I do not remember ever signing up for Easy Saver! Also, to complain to Oriental Trading is like uncovering an undercover operation as they are owned by an investment group, which probably owns Easy Saver! Beware of Oriental Trading! Buy your party products at a dollar store or a party store...I will never buy from Oriental Trading again!

I did not know Amazon did business with this company or I would have never ordered these flamingos showed two

Oriental Trading Company Unauthorized Charges

Upon checking my bank account balance online, I found that I have been charged $1.95 in April, and $14.95 in May for "Easy Saver" on my debit card. When I called the bank, they gave me a phone number to call "Easy Saver." When I called them, they told me that when I ordered from Oriental Trading Company, I had signed up for the "Easy Saver" membership program. I had no intention of signing up for any membership program when I ordered birthday party supplies, nor did I know I was getting suckered into paying a monthly fee from someone! They agreed to refund my money, and stop any further charges, but now I have to wait 7-10 business days to see if they really refund them. And now I am probably going to have to get a new debit card, so I can be comfortable that it does not happen any more.

This happened to us as well, word for word. However, I did not notice until 7 charges had been taken out of our bank account. When I called Easy Saver they were only going to refund four(4) charges of the eight (8) that they had taken out and when I asked what kind of service they provided there was not a response given. When demanding to speak with a supervisor, I was told that she was not available and that it would not matter because she would tell me the same thing. My husband later called back to find out what their service was and he received a round about answer but not a complete one. The operator he talked with did finally tell him that they would refund ALL charges that had been taken out, but it was the same thing; we have to wait 7-10 days but we are not going our breath before we will probably have to call them back to complain again and report them to the BBB.
