I do not want your magazine! My adult children are 24 and 25. Communications with your magazine have proved fruitless. I don't want it. Help Help Help Cancel my free subscription./1#A199LSPW001 0351 sept 10 cancel
I got 2 issues of Parents Magazine yesterday. I did not order it! The same thing happened to me last year, and I would write refused on them and take them to the Post Office. These people need to be reported. I am retired and have no small children and do not subscribe to any magazines. There is no phone number to call inside the cover.

We bought our daughter some clothes at a local Motherhood store in Topeka, KS. and was offered a free one-time copy of Parenting Magazine for her. We told the sales lady that that was ok. One month later $20.00 was taken out of our banking account to pay for the Parenting Magazine subscription that we didn't approve for. It is 4 months later and we are still fighting the Parenting Magazine company on this charge. I notified the Motherhood store and even though they apologized, there is nothing they can do about it. To me, this is fraud from Parenting Magazine. They are still sending our daughter the magazines, even after she called them to cancel after one being sent. This month is February, and I know that they are going to take out another $20.00 from our account. Our bank is even trying to help us out on this. And this is so frustrating. It is bad enough that many families are struggling today in this economy to make ends meet, and then you get taken advantage of by some company that thinks they can prey upon unsuspecting people and then the struggling families will go ahead and pay the bill, just because they thought they actually bought something and in reality, they didn't.

I started getting magazines from them too and I do NOT have children. I called the 1st time and they said they didn't have me in their system yet I was holding a mailed magazine in my hand and a confirmation e-mail in my inbox. I called again once I started getting formula samples and they said that I had to of physically put my information in their site for me to get signed up. BS! I have no idea where they got my information. Needless to say I got it canceled. We'll see if it sticks. I'm sorry for everyone else's headaches with them. I've never encountered anything like this before.

I'm 54 years old and no longer have any children living in my home. I did not and would not have ever ordered this magazine. When I was a young mom, I got them for free from the pediatrician's office. But I have NEVER ordered this magazine not ever, not once! Now they're sending me this magazine along with an invoice. How are they getting away with this? I know where they got my name though, through Publisher's Clearing House! Right after I signed up for their sweepstakes promotion they started coming in the mail. It's the ONLY thing that I've done online that I gave my name and address to and the timing is too obvious.

Be careful shopping online and those infomercials on TV, this is one way how they get you. We got Parents magazine as a "gift" from something my husband purchased on-line. It was ridiculous trying to cancel the "free" subscription, took a while, but it is done. Thank goodness, and no, we don't have children either. SMH.

Ooops, almost forgot, this is the current (as of 21 Jun 2016) customer service phone number for Parents magazine. [protected] If your subscription was not through the publishers service but that of a 3rd party, such as ours was, then they won't give you the name of the 3rd party but they will provide the phone number to call to cancel, if the 3rd party provided it to the publisher. If you get the 3rd party number be prepared to wait on hold for a long time to get through, I know I did. The 3rd party revealed how we ended up with a subscription and was very nice about allowing us to cancel it.
