Patio Living Review: Terrible Customer Service and Delivery Issues
I ain't never gonna do no business with Patio Living again. The first problem is that they kept changing their story about when my stuff would be delivered. They said it would be here on July 11, but then they pushed it back a whole month to August 7. When I contacted them about it, they said it wasn't their problem and that it was on the people at Woodard to get it to me. Not a good look, Patio Living!
Number two, they charged me for my furniture before I even got it delivered! What kind of nonsense is that? They gave me no choice but to pay for it before I even had it, or else I would have got a crazy big charge on my credit card bill. And when I tried to get the charge reversed, they said it was too late because the stuff was already on the way. Again, not a good look for Patio Living.
Then there was problem number three. When my furniture finally did arrive, I noticed that one of the chaise lounge chairs was missing. I told customer service about it, and they told me to go work it out with the freight company. What?! You mean to tell me that I gotta do your job for you? That's some straight up bull right there. Ain't nobody got time for that.
Overall, it was just a terrible experience dealing with Patio Living. The customer service people acted like they didn't even care about my problems. They didn't want to help me out at all, and they just gave me the runaround every time I talked to them. I don't know about y'all, but I ain't dealing with that kind of attitude from nobody. There's plenty of other companies out there that I can give my money to. So Patio Living can just kiss my business goodbye.
Patio Living Review: Quick Customer Service and Product Quality, but Communication and Delivery Issues
Chat rep was quick to respond n all n got me all set up w/ what I needed. But things went pretty south after that. Kept getting diff delivery dates n no real way to get any real answers. I wanted to use the furniture fer the summer at my vacation house, n they originally told me 10 days for delivery which was alright w/ me. But then right after I ordered, the delivery estimate kept getting pushed back and back. Ended up gettin 3 diff delivery dates n all were right at the prev estimated delivery date. Final one was August 8th but it ended up comin 2 days early. They need to work on communication n coordination w/ their suppliers cuz it was a mess. I kept askin for help n all they kept sayin was "it's not our fault, blame the manufacturer." Didn't even seem like they tried to work w/ the supplier to get some real answers for me. I was boutta cancel the whole thing, but then got a call sayin it'd be delivered the next day. Love the product n all tho, got a couple pieces at another house, but the whole Patio Living process was a mess. Got the furniture n all but it took too long n was too much of a hassle. At least the delivery company was on point tho, their estimates were right on. That was the only good thing bout the whole process.
Patio Living's Customer Service is Straight-Up Trash: A Review
Yo, so listen up. I know we're in the middle of a pandemic and all, but I just gotta say - Patio Living's customer service has been straight-up trash. Like, I've never experienced such garbage service in my life, and that's saying something. When I put in my order, they said it would ship out in 1 to 3 days. Okay, cool, right? NOPE. Three freaking delays later, it finally showed up...two whole months later. And then, get this, I find out that an entire bag of hardware and 5 pieces were missing for one of my dining sets. Are you kidding me? So I shoot Patio Living an email about it, and what do I get in response? NOTHING. Zip, zilch, nada. So I call them up a few days later and finally get through to somebody. They tell me they'll send me an email in 3 days (like, why tf does it take that long to send an email?) and I have to take pics and send it back to them so they can contact the manufacturer. Well, guess what? I STILL haven't gotten that email...and it's been a month. What a joke. But you know what's even worse? I was on hold for FIVE HOURS when I called to check on the shipping status. FIVE. HOURS. I mean, come on. There are just too many reasons why I would never ever order from this company again or tell anyone else to. Patio Living's customer service is beyond unacceptable.
Patio Living Review: Beware of Hidden Costs and Poor Customer Service
I was on the hunt for a new Tropitone Chaise pool lounge and decided to check out a few online patio stores for prices. After browsing through four different sites, I was elated to stumble upon Patio Living, which was offering the chair for only $949. It seemed too good to be true, and unfortunately, it was.
When the chair arrived, I was shocked to find that I had only received half of the product. It turns out that the chair comes in two separate pieces, which was my mistake for not thoroughly reading the website. The first three sites I visited had priced both pieces, but Patio Living did not. Upon contacting customer service, I was met with an unhelpful response stating that the site clearly stated that only the Chaise lounge was being sold.
Feeling a bit stuck, I decided to try and purchase the second half of the chair from Patio Living, but they were selling it for $226 per piece. This brought the total cost up to $1175, making it the most expensive option out of the four stores I had checked. When I requested that they lower their price to be more in line with the other stores, I was met with a resounding no. They did offer to let me return the half a chair I had received, but with a hefty 30% restocking fee. In the end, I had to buy the missing piece elsewhere for $190 per piece.
While I do admit that it was my fault for not reading the product description thoroughly enough, I still believe that Patio Living could have handled the situation with more customer service-minded approach. Not only were they selling half of a chair, but they were charging a high price for the missing half and giving no regard for the customer's needs. I regret purchasing from Patio Living and will not be shopping there again. Customer service and pricing aside, they could have been more transparent on their website about the nature of the product they were selling.
Disappointed with Incomplete Order and Poor Customer Service from Patio Living
So I gotta be honest, I have used Patio Living a few times in the past and I was pretty happy with the service and their outdoor furniture selection. In fact, all of my outdoor furniture is from them! However, my most recent experience with them was a total letdown. I ordered a set of patio furniture - the Darlee Cast Aluminum seating. The picture on the site showed the seating along with two other items... but the footnote clearly stated that these two items were not included in the item number. So, I placed an order for two item numbers - one for the seating and one for the optional coffee table.
I waited patiently for my order to arrive, but when the coffee table didn't show up with the seating, I reached out to their customer service team to report an incomplete order. Now, here's where it gets a little frustrating. The rep I spoke to (who was juggling three chats and a phone call, apparently) basically told me that my order was complete and asked me to submit a claim with a photo of what I had received to prove that something was missing.
Honestly, I was pretty blown away by this ridiculous request. I mean, I get that they have a claims process, but I had already ordered two items - one for the seating and one for the coffee table. It's not like I was trying to scam them out of a free table or anything. All I wanted was for them to check with Darlee (the manufacturer) to see why they only mailed one box with the seating when their boxes clearly list the contents printed on them. It's not rocket science!
To make matters worse, it seems like Patio Living is dragging their feet when it comes to fixing this issue. I understand that we're in the middle of a pandemic and everything is a little chaotic, but come on! People are spending more money on home furnishings these days and I don't think it's too much to ask for a company like Patio Living to step up their game a little bit.
Overall, I'm pretty disappointed with my experience with Patio Living. I'll probably still shop there again in the future (like I said, they have a decent selection), but I'll definitely be more cautious and double-check everything before I hit that 'order' button.
Patio Living Review: Stunning Furniture, But a Stressful Journey
The first time I ordered from Patio Living, I was hoping for a smooth experience. I was so excited to order a wicker patio set for my family to enjoy on the warm summer days. I was a bit disappointed when I received an email about the shipment being delayed to 5/2/19. I called to inquire about the possible cancellation of the order. Still, the representative kept saying it was custom and that I could only cancel within the 24-hour window. After prodding around, the representative offered to have me refuse the delivery, which would then credit my card minus the shipping, delivery, and a 20% restocking fee.
A week later, I gave the company another call, and the representative told me that the furniture shipment was with the carrier and needed to be inspected for a few days. They said that they would call me to schedule the delivery. At this time, I needed the furniture for an upcoming event, and I expressed the urgency of the situation. However, their response was of no help.
I felt astounded because it felt like I could never get a straight answer. I then called my credit card company, and they advised me to keep an eye on the order and compare it with their policies. However, after talking to PatioLiving again, it seemed like there were no notes from my previous conversation with their representative. They kept changing their responses, which was frustrating and complicated the situation.
In the end, I received the furniture, and it was stunning. We couldn't be happier with the purchase, but the journey was not as smooth and stress-free as I wanted it to be. Of course, sure, the end goods are stunning, but it took them so long to get to my hands!
Patio Living Review: False Advertising and Terrible Returns Experience
Patio Living, a website that advertises its worry-free shopping experience, has falsely claimed to ensure that customers can shop without any stress when it comes to purchasing home furnishings. However, it seems like this might not be the case for everyone. As a disappointed customer, I've been waiting for forty days to resolve an issue with Patio Living without any resolution.
The website claims that all returns and exchanges are subject to applicable return shipping fees, but what they don't mention is that orders over $1,000 are also subject to a 15% restocking fee. This information was not clear on the website when I made my order for $996. Now that I want to return some of the items, I am being asked to pay an outrageous restocking and return fee of $500.
I placed an order with Patio Living for four Treasure Garden Aluminum umbrellas for $1,000, hoping to receive quality goods. However, the color of the umbrellas that I received did not look anything like the sample on the website. So, I decided to return them. I called customer service on May 3rd, but they were not very helpful in explaining the Returns process. They just told me to wait for the authorization from the vendor.
After that, I emailed customer service on May 5th and received a response saying that they were waiting on returns authorization from the vendor. It seems like Patio Living has no ownership of what they sold or the customer service, as they are at the mercy of their vendor policies. I emailed them again on May 8th, but there was no response.
On May 16th, I emailed them again to follow up on the authorization, but it seems like Patio Living had no proactive follow up on the problem or resolution for me. They seemed to put the burden of the issue onto the customer, saying that you're on your own. At the same time, I received numerous emails from Patio Living asking me how my experience was, at least 6 emails so far.
Now, it's May 25th, and I still haven't received any follow-up from Patio Living with the problem not resolved for 35 days into the process. The sun is beating down, and I can't use the umbrellas. Given that, it's upsetting that Patio Living wants me to pay $500 in fees to return $1,000 worth of goods. This is a returns nightmare, and I don't want their returns tactic to discourage more returns. Therefore, I suggest that people avoid Patio Living and look elsewhere for their home furnishings needs.
XPO Logistics: A Delivery Nightmare - My Experience with Patio Living's Carrier
I just gotta say, I ordered some outdoor furniture from Patio Living and let me tell you, it was a whole ordeal. It wasn't Patio Living's fault, though. Nope, it was the delivery carrier. XPO Logistics, more like Xtra Painful and Overcomplicated Logistics, am I right?
So, I was all hyped up to get my delivery on a Friday, but then I got this email saying it wouldn't come until Monday, and that I had to be there to sign for it. Fine, whatever. So, I waited and waited on Monday, but no delivery came. I started getting antsy around 4:30 and called to find out what was up. They told me I hadn't gotten a phone call to set up the delivery 24 hours in advance. Uh, sorry, but nobody told me that was a thing. So, now it's late on Monday and I'm still waiting for a phone call for a Tuesday delivery. But, oh no, they tell me the soonest it'll actually show up is on Thursday. That's a whole week since I ordered my stuff! I was so mad, I started seeing red.
So, I talked to the dispatcher and demanded that they make it work for me. They refused to deliver as early as I wanted, but we eventually agreed on an 8-12 time slot on Wednesday. They promised it would be a priority delivery, but guess what? It wasn't. At this point, I'm ready to flip tables. I called XPO and got transferred to the dispatch supervisor, who apologized and blamed the driver and loader for screwing up the delivery schedule. Apparently, they loaded the truck wrong, so my stuff wouldn't arrive until the last stop around 5 in the evening. Yikes! I was so annoyed, I called and complained to Patio Living about it. And, when I told my friends about the whole fiasco, they all agreed that XPO was a total mess of a company.
So, anyway, the furniture finally showed up and it's nice and all, but I'm still salty about the delivery process. I mean, I referred a friend to Patio Living, but I warned him about XPO. My advice to anyone else ordering from Patio Living? Find a different delivery company.
Disappointing Experience with Patio Living: Delayed Shipping, Discontinued Product, Poor Customer Service
I bought a patio sofa from Patio Living on June 14th. The website said it would ship within 3-5 days, so I was excited to get it in time for summer. However, things started to go downhill when I received a message saying they would have a ship date for me by June 29. After not receiving any updates for a while, I called them up to inquire, and they said they sent a message to the manufacturer about my inquiry and that the manufacturer would contact me within 48 hours. However, the manufacturer never contacted me, so I called again after another week and left a message and sent an email inquiry. After another week, I heard nothing, so I called Patio Living again. I couldn't get anyone on their line, so I left another message.
Finally, after what felt like ages, a guy on the phone looked it up and said the order had been cancelled because the item had been discontinued. I was not happy because most products similar to this were no longer available, and it was now the middle of summer. I asked the guy how they could have the sofa and not provide it to people who had already purchased it, but instead put it in a grouping at a higher price. He told me that the set was not available either and they as well as the manufacturer both needed to correct their websites. I was skeptical because this set had never been on the website before and had only shown up recently as a new item. They still refused to fill my order even though I had been waiting for over a month.
I was frustrated because I had already been charged for the item on my credit card the day I ordered it, while most companies only charge you when an item ships. I spoke to a woman who told me that it is up to the manufacturer as to what groupings the product is sold in, and they had decided to sell it as a group, so I couldn't get the sofa that I had waited for half the summer.
To top it off, I found out that I wasn't the only one who had an issue with Patio Living as there were others who also didn't receive their orders after a long waiting period. It was very disappointing to receive such poor customer service from them. The least they could have done was let me know what was happening with my order, instead of leaving me in the dark and finally taking responsibility to charge my credit card.
I hope that they will work on improving their customer service and communication with customers in the future, so others don't have to experience the same frustration and disappointment that I did. I wasn't impressed with the performance of Patio Living and International Home Miami, and I'm not sure I would be willing to do business with them again.
Poor Customer Service and Missing Bases from Patio Living - A Frustrating Experience
I recently placed an order for two pool umbrellas with the bases on Patio Living's website. The bases were the main reason why I chose these particular umbrellas. However, when my daughter signed for the delivery, we received only two boxes instead of four. The next day, when we opened the boxes, we realized that the bases were missing. I immediately reached out to their customer service through chat, and after being transferred to three different people, a representative told me that they would let me know when the bases would be sent.
Unfortunately, I waited too long to follow up, and when I did, they gave me the runaround. I was transferred to their customer service representative, Julia, who asked for my order number and promised to check with the International Home Miami for an update. At this point, I also reminded her that I had called before placing my order to ensure that the umbrellas were not black, and I was assured by the representative that they were sage. However, upon receiving the umbrellas, I found out that they were black.
Later, Julia informed me that all four boxes (two umbrellas and two bases) were signed for, and they couldn't process a replacement order. This was frustrating because only two boxes were delivered, and we were missing the bases. I expressed my disappointment and frustration with the company's service, and they didn't even provide me with the information to contact the delivery service.
As a business owner myself, I would never leave my customers hanging and empty-handed like this. Now, I have to use eight concrete bags to hold these large umbrellas down around my pool area, which is a major hazard. I am extremely unhappy with the customer service provided by Patio Living and the fact that they didn't take any responsibility for the missing bases. I do not recommend this company to anyone. If you're looking for a hassle-free and reliable experience, I suggest looking elsewhere.

False advertising in quick ship items then don’t follow their own shipping policies
I ordered a patio umbrella ($1700) that was identified as "fast ship" on their website and stated "shipping in 1 to 5 business days." I received an email confirmation on May 31st with a target shipping date of 6/8. However, I never received a notification, and today (6/9), the shipping date changed to 6/13, which is essentially 10 business days. They had other colors and options that had a 2-week shipping timeframe, and some with even longer lead times, like a month. I intentionally chose the quick ship option.
When I contacted them, they referred me to their shipping policy, which states that they will notify you if there is a change and allow you to update or cancel your order within 24 hours of notification. However, I still haven't received any notification. During my chat with them, all I received was a generic "we are sorry" response. I requested to speak to a manager, and the following is the dialogue:

Mixed Experience with PatioLiving: Great Furniture Options but Customer Support Lacking & Long Delivery Times
This PatioLiving.com website has a whole bunch of really sweet furniture options. I was pretty stoked with the whole experience of buying from them. There's just a couple things I wanna give some feedback on though, you know? First off, the customer support is only through chat. You can't talk to nobody over the phone or face to face. The chat people are all friendly and stuff, but they don't really know what's going on with the delivery of your goods. They gotta email the manufacturer to figure it out and they don't always get back to you with updates. I had to ask like 15-20 times over two whole months to find out where my orders were. And it turns out, PatioLiving done goofed and didn't send in my order right to the manufacturer. I had to contact them directly to find out. But the manufacturer, Sika Designs, was actually really pro and came through for me, sticking to what they said they'd do.
Another thing that kinda bums me out is that the website says stuff is ready to go in 1-5 days, but in my case, it took almost three whole months to get everything I ordered. I don't know how much of that is 'cause of Corona or not, but I wish PatioLiving would be more upfront about delivery times. It would be sick if they had better customer service to go with their already rad selection of products.
Patio Living: Good Products, Frustrating Customer Service Experience
I recently had an experience with Patio Living that was both good and a bit frustrating. When I first visited their website, I was pleased to find exactly what I was looking for with minimal searching. It was quick and easy to place my order and I felt confident that I had made the right choice.
However, when my canopy arrived, I noticed a small hole near the top. The box it came in appeared to be damaged on the opposite end from the hole. I reached out to customer service in May when I first received the umbrella and didn't hear back from them for some time. Eventually, I filed a complaint with my credit card company, American Express, and they reversed the charge. It was only then that I received an email from Patio Living.
They spoke with American Express and the charge was reinstated. They offered me the option of either a discount or a replacement canopy. While it was frustrating to only receive a response after the charge was reversed, I'm happy that they are willing to make it right. I've had good experiences with Patio Living in the past and will likely order from them again in the future.
I understand that the pandemic has made customer service a challenge for many companies, but a more timely initial response would have been preferable. Overall, I'm satisfied with the overall experience and am grateful that they are offering a discount or replacement canopy.

Patio Living Website Review: Issues with PayPal Option and Customer Support
I recently had an experience with Patio Living (patioliving.com) and was a bit disappointed with some of the aspects of their website. One issue I encountered was with the use of Paypal on their website. Although I appreciated the option to use Paypal as a payment method, I found it confusing that I was allowed to log into Paypal from the cart even if I did not have an account. I believe this feature should only be offered to customers who choose to sign in as a guest, rather than potentially misleading those who prefer not to create an account.
In addition, I found it frustrating that I had to enter my billing and shipping information despite Paypal already having it on file. I believe this is a waste of time and could be streamlined for a more efficient checkout process.
Another issue I had with the website was the lack of customer support. I attempted to use their chatbot feature, but it appeared to be inactive. This was concerning to me as I was making a purchase at the beginning of the summer season and expected more prompt and efficient support. When I attempted to call their phone number, I only received a message, which did not instill confidence in my decision to make a purchase from this company.
Overall, while Patio Living has some great products available on their website, I believe they could improve their checkout process and customer support features. As a potential customer, I would prefer a more efficient and user-friendly experience when making a purchase online.
Disappointed with $1800 Patio Umbrella from Patio Living - Not Worth the Price
I gotta say, I was really excited when I heard about Patio Living from a bud of mine. They claimed Patio Living had a great selection of sturdy, high-quality umbrellas and patio furniture. So, I took the plunge and ordered a customized umbrella for my rooftop. And let me tell you, this was not a cheap purchase. My wallet felt the pain of that $1800 price tag for a heavy-duty umbrella.
But, much to my dismay, just weeks after setting it up, one of the umbrella arms snapped without any weather-related issues or heavy winds. I reached out to PatioLiving for help, and they did offer a replacement. But they didn’t give any help with hauling the replacement up to my rooftop. That umbrella is a beast, and it took a lot of effort to get it up four flights of stairs. To be honest, it was quite an inconvenience considering the price point we were paying for this thing.
Finally, we got the new umbrella up and used it only 3 times. Then BAM! A bolt fell out of the main arm center at the top, and the umbrella came apart in no time flat while we had family over, putting our infant at risk. I begged Patio Living for a replacement bolt, but it’s now been 10 days. And we're still waiting on even the simplest of details like measurements so we can get a replacement bolt ourselves from HomeDepot. And you know what? Summer is pretty much over, and we've barely even been able to use this umbrella.
All in all, I’m really disappointed. At that price, I feel like the quality should have been much higher. It's a bummer, but I wouldn't recommend Patio Living after my experience.
Nightmarish Customer Service Experience with Patio Living - Wouldn't Recommend to Anyone
I had high hopes for Patio Living when I first discovered their website and placed an order for an 84" Woodward wrought iron table and 8 chairs. However, my experience with their customer service has been nothing short of a nightmare.
Despite submitting 6 tickets to customer service, I have not received a single call back. I have spent multiple days with my phone on speaker waiting for 2 hours in customer service cue, only to never be able to get through. Even when I did try a live chat, no one could get me a manager to communicate with.
It took a whopping 6 weeks for my $2300.00 order to arrive, only to find out that it had arrived with a 900.00 Woodward table instead. Not only were the table legs drilled incorrectly and unable to be attached unless altered, but there was also a paint flaw on the table top. Needless to say, I was extremely disappointed and frustrated by this experience.
The thought of waiting another 6 weeks for another table is enough to make me want to lose my mind. It's impossible to get through to anyone in customer service, which is incredibly frustrating. I will never purchase from Patio Living again, and I certainly wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
To make matters worse, Patio Living never filed our warranty claim. It took 14 days for us to realize this and call customer service again, only to be told that they had tried to blame Woodward for the issue. At this point, I'm at a loss for words. My table is unusable in parts and taking up space in my garage.
Overall, my experience with Patio Living has been a complete letdown. I had high hopes for this company based on their website, but their customer service has proven to be nonexistent. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone.
Patio Living Review: Horrible Customer Service and Frustrating Claims Process
We forked out close to $2500 on one swell-looking patio table. When it got to us, it was damaged so badly that it looked like someone had taken a baseball bat to it. I tried calling Patio Living, but no one picked up, so I thought I'd give the website's chat function a shot. Finally reached someone on there and they sent me a claims form, which I filled out and sent out double quick. Two weeks went by with no word from them. Frustrated, I got back on, waited on hold for over an hour, and finally spoke with somebody who basically told me to talk to someone else through a totally unhelpful voicemail. I dropped a message anyway and got back on the chat function. They gave me the name of the boss that was supposed to handle my claim, but when I called the number they gave me, no one answered the damn thing. So I left a message and then got an email like a day later promising that my claim would be squared away in 10 business days. I waited and waited, but nothing happened for 10 days, so I got back on the chat function, where they told me I would receive a response in 1-2 business days. They lied and acted like they need to send me a new tabletop which I didn't want because I couldn't send the damaged one back. Please people, don't work with Patio Living. I deeply regret not ordering from Pollywood directly.
Patio Living Review: Poor Customer Service and Failed Deliveries
Oh boy, where do I start with Patio Living? Let me tell you, this has been one heck of an experience. Now, I ain't no expert in writing reviews, but I wanted to share my story in the hopes that it might save someone else from going through the same pain and frustration that I have.
First things first, let me just say that their customer service ain't worth diddly squat. I mean seriously, it's like they don't wanna talk to ya or somethin'. We had to wait on hold for ages just to speak to someone, and even then they weren't all that helpful. And let me tell you, blaming it all on COVID ain't an excuse. I mean, I get it, times are tough, but that don't mean you can treat your customers like garbage.
Now, I wish I could show y'all a picture of our furniture, but unfortunately, we still haven't received it. We paid for it, they promised to send it, and yet here we are, six weeks later, with no furniture in sight. They claimed that they shipped it out, but then apparently sent it back to the factory because they messed up the order. And since then, it's been complete radio silence from their end.
I was hopin' they'd step up and do the right thing, but instead, they just ignored us. It's like they think we're just gonna forget that we ordered something from them and paid a pretty penny for it. Well, I ain't one to forget, especially when it comes to my hard-earned money.
Honestly, the whole situation makes no dang sense. They won't even ship our furniture until they get the wrong order back, which just sounds like a bunch of baloney to me. And what really gets me fuming is the fact that we have ZERO communication from Patio Living. I mean, c'mon, is it really that hard to give us an update or somethin'?
At this point, we're gonna have to take matters into our own hands. We're planning on disputing the charge with our credit card company and filing a complaint with the Illinois Attorney General's Office. 'Cause let me tell you, we ain't gonna let them get away with this.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend Patio Living to my worst enemy. Their customer service is a joke and their delivery process is a hot mess. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere.
Disappointing Experience with Patio Living's Customer Service
My experience ordering from Patio Living was less than satisfactory, to say the least. I wish I had known what I was getting myself into before handing over my hard-earned money. First off, I was promised that my order was "in stock" and would be delivered to me within "1-2 weeks." Yet, I didn't receive anything for over a month and a half. That seems like a long time to wait for something that's supposedly in stock and ready to be shipped! When I tried to reach out to Patio Living's customer service, I was either met with silence or was given incorrect information that only made things worse. Talk about frustrating!
It wasn't until I got in touch with the East Coast manufacturer directly that I finally got some accurate information. In fact, the Manager of the manufacturing company was the one who informed me that the cushions I ordered were Sunbrella fabric, not the regular stock, and that this was the reason for the delay. You'd think Patio Living would've told me this themselves, but nope! I had to do the detective work myself. I wasted so much time trying to get answers from Patio Living, but their "customer service" was a complete failure in my opinion. It's like they're just a middle man collecting money but not really making any effort to help their customers.
So, if you're thinking about ordering from Patio Living, I'd advise doing a bit more research and potentially finding another company to do business with. Don't be fooled by their promises of quick delivery and great customer service. Trust me, it's not worth the headache if you run into any issues with your order.
Nightmarish Customer Service! Avoid Patio Living at All Costs!
This company is a joke! I would highly recommend that no one buy anything from them. I have never dealt with a company who has provided me with such poor customer service. It is unbelievable! I spent over $7,000 on their products back in May, and I was promised that my items would be shipped within 3 business days. However, I have received nothing but emails informing me that the shipping dates have been pushed back. I have tried to contact their customer service through calls, emails, and chats, but I have never received a single response. How can a company like this exist when there is no one available to answer customer questions after they spent thousands of dollars? I am utterly disappointed in their "A" rating with the BBB because they certainly don't deserve it. Their website boasts about a 5-star rating, but I only see negative reviews. If it were possible, I would rate them zero stars. In my 53 years of life, I have never encountered such atrocious service. Beware of Patio Living! They are a nightmare to deal with, and you don't want to risk losing your money! I am currently working with my credit card company to get a chargeback as I have requested a cancellation over four times, but I have yet to get a response from them. This experience has been nothing but terrible, and I don't wish it on anyone.
Review of Treasure Garden Umbrella - Differences in O'Bravia and O'Bravia 2 Treatment
This fancy Treasure Garden umbrella is pretty good, but only if you get the O'Bravia 2 one. I got a red one and since it took four weeks to ship, I decided to snag one from Amazon. The Amazon one came in a week and was treated with O'Bravia 2. You could tell because the material was all stiff. When the one from Treasure Garden arrived, it was softer and easier to see through. I checked the label and it only said O'Bravia, not O'Bravia 2, and it was treated differently. I even tried tying it up with its short little strings, but it wasn't possible. The Amazon one was the same price too. I contacted PatioLiving to fix the issue and they still haven't given me a full refund or sent a new one with O'Bravia 2. I'm really bummed out about this because PatioLiving made it impossible to tell the difference between the two products. The first photo is the Amazon one and the second is the one from PatioLiving.
