We live in a home build by Ryan Homes and they have installed Patriot Windows. After this winter we noticed a crack in one of the window and now for 3 months have been leaving messages at their voice mail but have not heard from them. This is becoming really frustrating and I think by the time they respond the warranty will expire, which is what I think they want!

We live in a house built 10-1/2 years ago by K. Hovnanian who also installed Patriot Windows in this entire development. We now have cracks in two windows that completely cross the entire window and one window has a broken metal component in the track. In addition, the plastic hardware that keeps the screens in have broken on several windows and they are presently duct taped in because you cannot find replacements for the plastic hardware anywhere!

I live in a house built 9 years ago by Peirsol Homes. We have Patriot windows, and they are the cheapest and worst windows I've ever owned. Double locks don't work without forcing them closed, the screen clamps have broken almost every time I attempt to take them out to clean the window frame. The balance rods that help the windows go up and down have broken on most of my windows causing me to replace them at a average cost of $25 per rod, each window has two. Most of the time you can get away with replacing one at a time. Tilt In Windows in Northfield New Jersey is the only place in my area that seems to carry these parts.Good Luck

My home was built 10 years ago and has Patriot Windows. My daughter's room is an icicle. Ice formed inside her bedroom and mold has formed. The window will not shut and lock. Condensation continually develops on all windows.

They are the closest thing to no window at all. If you are thinking of using these windows, don't. Leaky, bad seals, hard to operate and in general the worst window on the market. The warranty does not include the labor to replace the window.

Universal Supply Co. in Hammonton NJ is a distributor who deals with several manufactors and Patriot is one of the Companys we do deal with.
Patriot warranty was never really compatible with other vendors that we also with. They have only a one year labor for everything for the first homeowner only and starts at you settlement date and with in reason.
As you may know Patriot was sold to Ply Gem that is located in Rocky Mt. and they no longer make Patriot windows. But, there are certain parts we are able to get from them on some of the series.
The most common parts we sell are the 1400 series screens clips (which they make them different now) but they still work.
We can provide service to all of South New Jersey to Central New Jersey.
We can not promise you we can fix everything but we can sure try or even give you information that may help you fine what your looking for.
Our number is [protected] and ask for our service department.

I also had a new home built by Fentell, they used Patriot windows. I have had five (5) cracked windows in the past few years. Also I have
half circular windows in the front of my home that the black insulation is coming out of. You can see the black insulation creeping up inside of the window. Looks terrible. That alone is a couple hundred dollars per window to fix. Locks are almost impossible to lock on some of the the windows, and some of the windows leak. I also had some broken balance rods inside the windows and a ton of broken screen clips. Cheap cheap cheap! When I get the replacement windows they will not be Partiot.

We live a a older home and replaced our old windows with Patroit replacement windows. One reason we chose Patriot was the came with a lifetime warranty. The fist time the seals failed on a couple of the window they were replaced with not much of a problem. However since the original contractor sold his business and the company moved . Now my Guarantee is useless and still the seals on my home that have a southern exposure keep failing. And a few other windows the up and down mechanism have failed . My only recourse is to replace the windows with different product.

I have tons of broken screen clips - and I found that a company called Swisco sells the replacement part (70-123) for around 50 cents each.

I live in a home built only 5 years ago by Pulte Homes who also used Patriot Windows. A sizable paladian window over our front door is shot. The seal is broken, the gas has escaped and it is full of moisture and water on all but the sunniest of days. The window leaks in four areas and water has damaged the inside of my home. The window needs to be replaced but Patriot will not honor the warranty because we are the second owners of the home. We also have one double-hung sash window that falls out of the track because the pully system is shot. Garbage windows, garbage warranty...Garbage company.

We also replaced our older home windows with Patroit, swayed by the lifetime warranty. Southern exposure windows seals seperate, raising and lowering hardware has broken, the first couple of complaints service was free but since I have had to pay for someone to repair any problem. Now I cannot find anyone to repair them. I used Patroit on the 8 downstairs windows, and a cheaper builder recommended window for the 8 upstairs windows, needless to say the cheaper window has far out performed the Patroit at less than half the cost.

I purchased my home 7 years ago, that was built in2001 by american home builders.
I have patroit vinyl windows series1100/1200 throughout the entire house. They are nothing but garbage. the balancers are broken on many & 7 of my 14 single & double windows have broken latches that are located on Left/right top of the bottom window to enable me to flip down the lower window.
I have been unable to find anyone to replace the broken parts. For the last week I have been trying to locate the parts on the internet.
If you could be of any assistance I would be forever greatful
Thanks Narvin

I think the makers of patroit vinyl windows should be ashame of ever putting this garbage out on the market, now the comsumers are having to correct all the problems associated with fixing them.

Can there be a class action suit for patriot vinyl windows? Homeowners have been cheated by this manufacturing company.
