I live in a Ryan home that is only 8 years old. They use Patriot Windows - which are junk. Since I've lived here I've had more broken seals/cracked windows/bad springs, than I can count on both hands. They warrant the window for life - although by now they are likely going bankrupt with all the claims I'm hearing they are having just within this area - but they DO NOT warrant the installation. I have a HUGE palladian window over my front door that has been replaced 1x allready to the tune of $800.00 just for labor. Now, after 3 years I am facing the same issue. I am unhappy with their product as well as Ryan Home's lack of care to rectify the problem.
Anyone have any suggestions? At this point I would never build another Ryan Home (the windows are the least of it), nor would I ever buy Patriot Windows.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I have a townhouse in Mauldin SC that is 6 years old. All the seals of the double sach thermopanes facing the south west have failed. I believe it was caused by expansion from the sun's radiation. Patriot Windows will replace, but stock only.
I live in New Jersey and yes I own a Ryan home as well. I will never purchase another home from Ryan again! They are the worst when it comes to Quality construction. The Patriot windows are definetly crap windows. I have several windows, that after 5 years, the lower sash won't stay up! Seals are worn, the draft is also terrible .
