PayMyDoctor.com Review: Late Payments and Rebilling Causing Major Headaches!
I been usin' paymydoctor.com to pay my doctor bills for a while now, but I gotta say, I'm havin' some issues. I'm pretty sure my payments ain't gettin' to my doctor on time. I even got rebilled for a bill I just paid not too long ago. It's makin' me think they're holdin' up my payment from postin' on time.
I mean, I ain't no expert in this kinda stuff, but it don't seem right. And it's causin' me some major headaches, cuz now I gotta go in and deal with this stuff in person, which ain't nobody got time for.
Overall, I'm not too happy with how things are goin' down with paymydoctor.com. I don't wanna have to worry about my payments bein' late or not gettin' to my doctor on time, especially when it's somethin' as important as my health. Ya feel me?
PayMyDoctor Website Review: Bumpy Start but Smooth Sailing with Payment. Confirmation Process Needs Work
Yo, so let me tell y'all bout this PayMyDoctor website. I was tryna pay my medical bill but the screen kept freezing up when I was entering my payment info. Turns out I just had to choose the right credit card type (ya girl was tryna use Visa and it needed to be MasterCard). Once I fixed that, my payment went through with no issues and my balance was zeroed out. But like, why they gotta be so lowkey about confirming the payment and sending a receipt to my email? I had to manually write down the receipt code they gave me just to have some proof that I made the payment. It's an aiight website if you know what you're doing, but could use some improvement on the confirmation process.
PayMyDoctor.com Review: Inflexible, Unreliable, Avoid if Possible
I wouldn't recommend using PayMyDoctor (paymydoctor.com) if you have other options. Once you sign up, it's like your information is stuck in stone. You can't change your address or phone number, which seems like a huge inconvenience. I've searched for a help section and couldn't find one. You can only change your email address or preference for paper or email billing. It's just easier to mail a check in that case. The website looks unreliable and I didn't trust it with my payment. I tried the service only to see if I had multiple invoices to pay, but I couldn't confirm that. Unfortunately, I couldn't update my address and phone number either. It's frustrating because it doesn't seem like there's a way to fix mistakes or changes. Overall, I'd say to steer away from using PayMyDoctor if you can.
PayMyDoctor Review: Frustrating Wait Times and Potential Inaccuracies
I don't have a choice in using PayMyDoctor, it's my provider's preferred method of payment. However, I wish they wouldn't use it because of the issues I've encountered. For example, the website doesn't always accurately reflect the amount due, so I've had to contact my provider to clarify. This has caused me frustration, and wasted more time than necessary - not to mention the stress of not knowing if I'm paying what I owe or not.
Assuming you do receive an accurate amount due, the process of actually paying is another issue entirely. I've found that it takes at least five minutes instead of the expected minute or two that it should. The pages and payment screens freeze, the cursor spins endlessly, and at times I've even received frustrating pop-ups. Sometimes, it takes so long that I leave to do other things and come back later hoping the page will have loaded fully.
Despite these issues, it seems like the company and the provider don't care enough to improve the service and decrease wait times. As a consumer, I feel like my time and experience don't matter, because I'm not the company's direct customer. The person at my provider who chose to use PayMyDoctor probably doesn't care, either. It's frustrating to feel like your time and effort isn't valued and that the website and company aren't interested in improving their service, even for their provider clients.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend using PayMyDoctor if you have a choice. The long wait times and potential inaccuracies aren't worth the hassle. If your provider uses it exclusively, be prepared for a frustrating experience.
PayMyDoctor.com Review: Frustrating Experience with Flawed Design and Functionality
My experience with PayMyDoctor.com has been a frustrating one, to say the least. As a patient of a healthcare provider in Tallahassee, Fl, I have been receiving bills for months, only to find out that there is no record when I attempt to pay them on the site. After some digging, I discovered that it was necessary for me, the patient, to link the provider group to my account manually. This information was not readily available on the site and I had to search through the middle of the text on my bill to find the exact ID numbers needed. This level of difficulty is not expected and the site is grossly deficient.
As a retired programmer, database administrator, and website developer, I can confidently say that PayMyDoctor.com's design is flawed in many ways. Upon clicking the link to add a provider, I encountered a problem where nothing happened. It took several attempts and a message from my browser that it was blocking popups before I was able to proceed. A better design approach would have been a full-page application form, rather than a small, obstructive popup.
Additionally, the site does not differentiate between the patient's account and the provider's account, causing even more confusion. I initially thought that the link button "Link an account" was to connect to another site, but it is actually used to add a provider. Figuring out the necessary information, such as the client ID (which is actually the provider ID), the account number (which is actually my patient account number), and the bill pay ID, required assistance from someone at the provider's office. While this information may be part of the site's relational database system, it should not be necessary for users to enter explicitly.
In conclusion, PayMyDoctor.com falls short of delivering the services their healthcare providers and patients paid for. The site's deficiencies in both design and functionality make it a trying experience to navigate. I would not recommend this site to anyone who isn't prepared to deal with such obstacles.
After i made a payment to my provider i got an email from PayPal confirming a payment in that amount to an individual for a product instead of my doctor! PayPal reversed the charge in my bank account, but how much of my payment information now has been compromised?!
Website was user friendly, and I was able to pay my bill without enrolling. I would have given 5 stars except I never got the email confirmation that they said was sent. I did go back to make sure the bill showed $0 owed.
PayMyDoctor Complaints 1
Online portal to pay your doctor
Today, 10/8/2023 I registered for paymydoctor.com in order to pay balance owed to doctor. After pymt goes through, the prompt states you'll receive confirmation email as receipt.
The email doesn't reflect the actual receipt of pymt, just to login. I did login and there isn't the ability to print a receipt. It shows amount paid, but your only option is to take a screenshot for your records, I suppose.
This won't work for say, SNAP program when you have to produce receipts!
Desired outcome: There's no contact info for help from paymydoctor like 'contact us' or feedback. I need to know how to get receipt.
