Mixed Experiences with PeopleLooker
After reading various reviews about PeopleLooker, it's evident that the service has received mixed feedback. While some users appreciated the ease of finding information and the helpful customer service, others expressed concerns about deceptive billing practices, outdated information, and difficulties in canceling subscriptions. It seems like PeopleLooker may offer valuable insights for some users, but it's essential to approach the service with caution and be aware of potential issues highlighted by other customers.
Better than all the rest!
This is a great app. I can look up people from the past and see where they live or how old someone is or find out that someone is deceased. There's a list of relatives and address history. Love this app!
Great customer service
My grandma accidentally subscribed and they gave us a refund, I was very pleased with how quickly they responded. I have no use for people looker, but I was touched by how willingly they gave my grandma a refund.

Sending you a little joy. Not a review
In retirement I now mentor kids and adults about aviation and space through my own 50 year flying experience and those of my flying friends. The photos are just a sample. Good times, bad times and the occasional emergency. Enjoy.

Easy to navigate. Good information
I found the information accurate and the report very easy to read and follow. Their website was easy to navigate through and customer service was available right away. Their staff was helpful and professional. I will use their service again if there is ever a need.
Tried many background service but i found your to be the best. Gives more information and fast
I have found your background check program to be one of the best. Very easy to look up. I did try the 5 day trail and loved it. I will let others know to try it out. Im sure they will find it to be a great source of information and go monthly with it... I do plan to come back soon
Thank you.

Excellent product. Excellent service!
I determined this to be the superior product of its type, but then stumbled on a representation made by the sales rep I spoke with. When I emailed my complaint to customer support, I was given immediate and exemplary satisfaction to my concern. I look forward to a long working relationship with peopleLooker and recommend them highly.
Bad handyman!
I was looking for a handyman. I found a business card for one at my outlet store. I looked him up and discovered he had been in prison twice for grand larceny. He had also been in jail for making obscene phone calls, burglary, breaking and entering, assault and battery and more. I had just signed up for the $1 trial period and so glad I did! Thank you, People Looker!
PeopleLooker: A Complete Scam - Beware of Fraudulent Activity and Poor Service
After subscribing to PeopleLooker, I was left feeling extremely disappointed with the generic level of service and found it to be vastly inferior to other background check providers such as Been Verified. However, my experience worsened significantly when trying to cancel. It was an absolute nightmare and took me a lot longer than it should have. After finally succeeding, I thought that was the end of the matter. However, to my shock, I recently discovered that PeopleLooker had been continuing to take payments from me for months after I cancelled! This is unacceptable and amounts to nothing short of fraudulent activity. I have demanded a full refund from the company and if they do not comply, I will take matters further. This incident has truly convinced me that PeopleLooker is a complete scam and I would strongly advise against using their services. Additionally, their lack of information on people I have previously found on other search sites further cemented my distrust of this company. It is also worth noting that this experience has left me feeling deeply wronged and I will not let them get away with it.
Exceptional Customer Service Experience with PeopleLooker.com - Highly Recommended!
I recently had an unexpected experience with PeopleLooker.com that I would like to share. It all started when I received a notification from my bank informing me that I had been charged $23.02 for a purchase I did not authorize on PeopleLooker.com. Needless to say, I was perplexed and concerned about the situation. I immediately reached out to the customer service at PeopleLooker to seek assistance in resolving the matter.
My email to them outlined the predicament and requested that they cancel any account or information in my name and refund me my money. To my surprise, their team responded in less than an hour and granted my refund to my card. I was greatly impressed by how promptly and efficiently my inquiry was handled. It was the best customer service I have ever received in such a stressful situation such as this.
This positive interaction with the PeopleLooker customer service team has left a great impression on me. I am grateful for their quick response and immediate action towards resolving the issue. I want to thank them for their professionalism and the outstanding service they provided. Overall, based on this experience, I can highly recommend PeopleLooker.com for anyone who needs fast and reliable service - even when dealing with unpleasant and unexpected issues.
PeopleLooker Review: Interesting but Not Particularly Helpful, and Lacks a Free Trial Reminder
After conducting a thorough search on PeopleLooker, I have to say that their advertisement does seem quite promising. They suggest that they can provide you with information about anyone you have ever known and that this information will be both interesting and potentially helpful. I have to say that my experience with PeopleLooker was somewhat mixed.
While some of the information that I found was indeed interesting, I didn't find that any of it was particularly helpful to me personally. I think that this may be the case for many people who use websites like this - the information can be intriguing, but it might not actually be of much use in the end.
One issue that I did have with PeopleLooker is that they did not provide a reminder of when my free trial was ending. I think that this is something that most reputable websites should do, as it indicates that they are trustworthy and are genuinely interested in providing a good service. Unfortunately, this was not the case with PeopleLooker.
Overall, I would say that PeopleLooker can be an interesting resource for finding information about people, but it might not be as helpful as you expect. Additionally, the fact that they don't provide reminders about the end of your free trial is somewhat concerning and suggests that they might not be as reputable as they claim to be. It's important to be cautious when using websites like this, as some of them can be less than trustworthy.
Review: PeopleLooker - an unprofessional, unreliable, and costly service to avoid
I strongly recommend that you do not subscribe to PeopleLooker, as they have proved to be an extremely unreliable and frustrating company to deal with. Despite cancelling our subscription, we have consistently been charged $21.51 by the company, and their customer service team have been unhelpful and unsympathetic in trying to resolve the issue. It is incredibly frustrating, as this now means that we have to spend even more time trying to resolve the matter with our bank, which is a hassle nobody needs.
What's more, we have found that their resources are no better than those readily and freely available on search engines. In fact, the information we have received from PeopleLooker has been rather lacking - if not completely useless. It is frankly ridiculous that a company should be allowed to charge customers for a service that does nothing but provide easily googled information.
Overall, I feel strongly that PeopleLooker should be avoided at all costs. The company has proved themselves to be unprofessional, unreliable and quite frankly, a scam. Instead of wasting your hard earned money with this company, I urge you to instead do your own research and save yourself the headache and frustration of dealing with them.
Beware of PeopleLooker: A Scam Alert from a Frustrated Customer
I recently had a frustrating experience with PeopleLooker, and I feel compelled to share it with others to prevent them from falling victim to the same scam. In the early hours of the morning, I discovered that my credit card had been charged by a company called PL*PeopleLooker, which was completely unfamiliar to me. After conducting some research, I found that many other individuals had reported similar occurrences, and the company's lack of transparency and contact information was alarming.
Despite my efforts to locate a viable point of contact, the numbers that were provided were either unreachable or invalid. Furthermore, there was no record of the company in the United States or Canada, making it even more difficult to resolve my issue. As someone who has visited your website before and trusts your business ethics, I wanted to bring this to your attention. It is disheartening to think that a platform as reputable as yours could potentially host such an unscrupulous company that preys on unsuspecting individuals.
I am one of many individuals who have experienced this issue, and it is time for action to be taken against PeopleLooker. I have no intention of letting this incident go unresolved, and I implore others to do the same. If anyone has any suggestions for how to effectively pursue contact with the owners of this fraudulent "company," I would be grateful for any insight. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I hope that together, we can hold PeopleLooker accountable for their actions and prevent them from continuing to scam innocent people out of their hard-earned money.
Sincerely,
Kristen Harper
Impressive Customer Service Despite Minor Discrepancies: A Review of PeopleLooker
Yesterday, I reached out to PeopleLooker and requested a refund of 22.86 dollars. Despite not yet hearing back about the refund, I must say that I received the best customer service ever! While the information provided by PeopleLooker was not entirely up-to-date, I was impressed by how quickly my customer agents got back to me and explained my problems. For this reason, I would definitely recommend this service to others who need help locating people.
One small discrepancy I noticed while using the website was that the age listed for Sydney M Williams was displayed as 30, while other people search websites listed her age as 32. However, given the level of service I received from PeopleLooker, I am willing to overlook this small mistake.
Now, as for the issue of whether or not PeopleLooker is worth paying for, I can say that I didn't get a whole lot more information than what I could have gotten for free. While the service did provide some financial and criminal information, I personally did not find this information helpful or necessary. In fact, I'm of the opinion that people's private affairs are just that—private. Personally, I don't think I need to know what's going on in someone's life when searching for basic information about them.
I do have a bit of a gut feeling that PeopleLooker might be a potential scam, similar to other people search websites I've visited in the past. However, despite this reservation, I still think their service is worth considering, especially if you need help locating someone but don't want to go through the hassle of trying to find them yourself.
Mixed Feelings: A Review of PeopleLooker's Public Information Aggregation Service
As someone who has used PeopleLooker for quite a while, I have mixed feelings about the service. On one hand, it does an admirable job of aggregating public information, and it's usually pretty fast when it does work. However, there are definitely some limitations to this approach.
For starters, it's important to understand that the quality and quantity of results you get from PeopleLooker will depend largely on the person you're searching for. If someone is very active on social media or has a lot of public information out there, you're likely to find a wealth of data. But if they're private or don't engage in a lot of online activity, the platform's results may be sparse. That's not really a fault of the service, it's just the nature of working with public information.
However, there are other aspects of PeopleLooker that are more frustrating. One issue that I encountered on multiple occasions was that the platform would sometimes simply fail to pull any data. I'd try to run a search and get nothing back, even for individuals who had previously had plenty of search results. When I reached out to customer support, they were friendly enough, but not particularly helpful. The recommendations they gave me - clearing cookies or trying a different browser - seemed more like basic troubleshooting steps than something tailored to the specific issue I was experiencing. And when it was clear that there more widespread problems with the service, it would have been nice for them to be a bit more transparent about that.
All that said, even with these issues, PeopleLooker can be a valuable tool for people looking to do some basic research on an individual. It's just important to have realistic expectations about what you'll find, and to not rely too heavily on it when it's clear that the service is experiencing issues.
Review of PeopleLooker: Helpful Platform, But Poor Customer Service
Have you ever had a frustrating experience with an online platform? Well, I recently signed up for the $1 trial on PeopleLooker (peoplelooker.com) in hopes of finding some information. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find what I needed, and to top it off, the customer service team closed at 11:30 PM, so I wasn't able to receive any assistance that day.
To my dismay, there was no apparent cancel button on the website, and with a busy schedule the next day, I must have forgotten to follow up. However, I read on their website that refunds were handled on a case-by-case basis. Therefore, the moment I saw the charge appear on my card statement, I sent an email requesting a cancellation and refund.
I expected them to refuse or offer a partial discount, but instead, they ignored my request, offering me a 50% off future subscription promotion. Frankly, it appeared as if they didn't read my email at all, and this was exceedingly bothersome.
While the platform has its good aspects, such as a vast database, user-friendly interface, and accurate information, their customer service needs improvement. If you're considering using PeopleLooker, I suggest reaching out to them for clarity on their refund policy and being cautious before signing up for a subscription.
Beware of Peoplelooker.com - My Personal Experience Will Make You Think Twice
I recently had a bad encounter with peoplelooker.com and unfortunately I wouldn't recommend using this site. Initially, I only paid one dollar to give it a try and was quickly disappointed with the service. I went ahead and canceled because I didn't want anything to do with this website anymore. Even though I was told that I wouldn't be charged anything until the end of the month, I still wasn't convinced.
Unfortunately, my suspicions were valid. Later on, I found out that this website somehow gave out my information, which ultimately led to over $450 worth of transactions that I didn't even authorize or make. My bank, which is a federal bank, conducted an investigation on the matter and traced it back to peoplelooker.com.
I was devastated and couldn't believe that this happened to me. I tried calling all the phone numbers, but it was the same person on the other end of the line. To make matters worse, this person refused to refund me even though I didn't have anything to do with those transactions. It's important to note that my investigation proved that I was not responsible for those transactions.
In conclusion, I highly advise you to be cautious when using peoplelooker.com. Don't hand out any credit card or banking information because you could end up getting robbed. I've learned my lesson the hard way, and I hope nobody else has to go through what I experienced.
Negative Experience with PeopleLooker: Lack of Results and Difficulty Canceling Subscription
I recently used PeopleLooker and unfortunately had an extremely negative experience. After using the website's services to search for numerous phone numbers, I was disappointed to find that I received no results. Additionally, when attempting to cancel my subscription, I found it to be a daunting task and had difficulty figuring out the process. It was clear to me that the company's intention was to make it difficult for me to cancel and continue charging me. This made me feel like I was being scammed.
I don't appreciate the lack of transparency on this website. It is not user-friendly and I struggled to make sense of many of its features. It became a significant waste of my time, money, and energy. I felt misled and frustrated with the entire experience.
I believe it is essential for any service provider to make it easy for its customers to cancel their subscription. Failure to do so is not only unethical but also frustrating for customers like me. PeopleLooker should be ashamed of such practices and should improve its services immediately.
I will be pursuing a refund for all the money I spent on this terrible website and writing this review as a warning to others. It is my hope that others will not fall into the same trap that I did and avoid using this website altogether. Save yourself the headache and choose a more reputable service provider.
PeopleLooker Complaints 12
Time wasting Clickbait
I'm not going to be a specific as possible and all that nonsense because I've already wasted 15 minutes of my time on people looker BS. Yes, go ahead and put your name in here and will let you know if you have unclaimed money. Meanwhile, I'm sitting there in 15 minutes later waiting for it to go through all its millions of searches that I didn't ask for knowing I got bamboozled, but still hoping that maybe that unclaimed money will show up by some godly act! Well shockingly, God did not get involved, and not only did the unclaimed money not show up, but it tried to demand that if I wanted to even know about the unclaimed money, I had to pay a dollar! Just a dollar! I tried to leave and back out, saying oh hell no I would never give you my dollar now no matter what edits tries again to pop up with it's just a dollar! I resent you, wasting my time and lying to me it's completely not giving me what I asked for and what you promised me you would with only my first and last name. Literally taking 15 min to search through all these different bull$#*! categories. No I've heard of your search companies before and I didn't want that. I want you to know that my unclaimed money and you pretend like you were at one of those companies and you damn well you were. Go eff yourselves.
Fraudly getting money from my account
Hello,
Peoplelooker has been fraudantly billing me $23.21.51 every month since April - for 6 months for unknown reason. I've never created an account there. Total amount is $139. 29.06. I request an urgent refund. Otherwise I'll have to apply for complaints in NY fraud association.
I wrote to the support and got the ticket number of my case [protected] but never got a reply.
Desired outcome: Stop withdrawing money from my account and make a refund.
Misleading Marketing and Hidden Costs: A Review of PeopleLooker
Hello fellow human beings! I recently had an experience with PeopleLooker and wanted to share my thoughts with you all.
Firstly, I must say that I found their marketing tactics to be a bit sneaky. They make it seem like you can access a wealth of information for free, but in reality, this is a paid service. The only indication of this fact is buried in the fine print where they refer to their service as "affordable". I found this to be quite misleading, and it left me feeling a little frustrated.
However, I will say that the process itself was quite extensive and seemingly thorough. I went through several steps where I was asked to provide a good amount of personal information. As I got closer to the end, I found that the "final step" was to provide my credit card details, which I immediately felt uncomfortable with. I do not think it is fair for them to ask for this kind of information without any indication of the cost upfront.
Ultimately, I ended up completely leaving the website without using their services. I decided to do a quick Google search instead, and to my surprise, I found what I was looking for without paying a dime. This made me further question the value of PeopleLooker's services.
In conclusion, my experience with PeopleLooker was less than satisfactory. I think it would be much more upfront and transparent if they clearly indicated the cost of their service before requiring any personal information or credit card details. While the process seemed thorough, I cannot help but feel that I could have saved time and money by using a different method to achieve the same result.

Is PeopleLooker Worth the Risk? A Review of the Comprehensive Database for Public Records and Contact Information
Are you curious about what information about you is floating out there on the internet? That's where PeopleLooker comes in. They tout themselves as a comprehensive database that can uncover public records and contact information on just about anyone. However, before you get too excited, there is a bit of a catch.
For starters, you will need to pay $1.00 to have access to PeopleLooker's services. While this fee may not seem like a lot, it does mean that you will have to hand over your credit card information to them. This can understandably make some people feel uneasy, especially given the number of data breaches and hacks in recent years.
On top of that, canceling your subscription requires a phone call to the customer service team. So, not only does PeopleLooker now have your credit card info, but they also have your phone number. It's important to consider whether the tradeoff of getting information about others is worth potentially exposing your personal information to an organization like this.
Ultimately, there's no denying that PeopleLooker has the potential to be a valuable resource for those seeking information about others. However, it's essential to weigh the potential risks against the benefits before handing over any money or personal information. On a larger scale, it's worth considering whether sites like this should be allowed to exist at all without stricter regulations in place to protect consumers.
False Advertising and Poor Service: My Experience with PeopleLooker
When I tried out PeopleLooker, I was left feeling quite dissatisfied with their advertisement and service offering. The website prominently displays a banner proclaiming a "FREE search," which initially seemed like a great deal. However, after conducting multiple searches, I soon realized that this had been a mere ploy to draw me in. While I was allowed to run as many searches as I wanted, the site failed to yield any relevant information, which was incredibly frustrating and disappointing.
To add insult to injury, PeopleLooker offered me no guarantees that the information they displayed would be accurate or up to date, despite claiming to have found hundreds of records. This lack of transparency made me skeptical about the service, as it appeared to prioritize drawing in as many customers as possible rather than providing reliable information.
While I am open to paying for a service that delivers on its promises, I believe that PeopleLooker needs to be upfront about their costs and their ability to provide a worthwhile service. As a consumer, I value honesty and transparency, and I hope that the company will consider revamping their advertising and service offering to better reflect these important values. Until then, I will be seeking out alternative search tools that prioritize accuracy and transparency.
Don't Waste Your Time or Money on PeopleLooker.com
If you're on a mission to uncover information about someone, whether it be a friend, potential employee, or anyone else, chances are you'll find yourself exploring various websites with promises of extensive and accurate background checks. One such site that may have crossed your path is PeopleLooker.com. But before you sign up and start paying for their services, let me tell you - it's not worth it.
First off, the data-gathering process is tedious and time-consuming. You'll have to endure pop-ups and windows galore as they rummage through various data points, but the catch is, they're not compiling any information from the internet. Instead, they're essentially mining data that resides in the device (phone or computer) you're using to access their platform. This can cause concerns of privacy invasion among some users who may not appreciate unscrupulous data miners peeping into their personal information.
But let's say you go ahead with it, assuming that the end justifies the means. Once they eventually complete the grueling data-collection process, PeopleLooker presents yet another hurdle: pay to view. You'll need to cough up a certain amount to access the results of their probe into the individual you wanted to investigate. The catch however, is that they don't let this be known beforehand. You may be left thinking you can access all of the information for free, only to be met with a paywall blocking you from further progress.
The whole process can be a bit of a pain and feels like a waste of time. It's no wonder why more people are gravitating towards more efficient, effective, and trustworthy platforms like TruthFinder, which provides free and informative reports on any person of interest. So save yourself the trouble and skip over PeopleLooker.
Disappointing Experience with PeopleLooker: Erroneous Information and Unconsented Subscription Charges
As a customer who recently tried PeopleLooker, I must say that my experience was not a pleasant one. Right from the start, I was asked to pay a mere 1 USD for their services, which I thought was perfectly reasonable. Thus, I provided my credit card details and proceeded to use their service. However, to my utmost dismay, I was charged 21.51 USD later on for a subscription that I did not even sign up for! Needless to say, I was beyond disappointed to find out that they had charged me such a significant amount of money without my consent.
Beyond the issue with the exorbitant charge, I found the service itself quite useless. After all, what is the point of using a background check service if it provides erroneous information? Unfortunately, I discovered that the report they provided ended up containing the wrong name, which is a huge oversight on their part. I tried to get in touch with their customer service team to rectify this issue, but unfortunately, they did not respond to me for over 24 hours, which is a significant amount of time to wait for a response.
At this point, I not only want my money back but also want to immediately cancel my membership with PeopleLooker. Their lack of attention to detail is concerning, and the fact that they charged me an astronomical amount without my consent is downright scum-like behavior. I hope that others who are considering using PeopleLooker read this review and think twice before giving them their time and money.
Beware: Cancellation Process and Billing Issues with People Looker
People Looker is a platform that offers a service to its users, but what happens when you need to cancel? Unfortunately, the process isn't as easy as it should be. To cancel your account, you have to call or email, and the waiting queue can be lengthy, sometimes taking hours or even days. Once an agent finally calls you back, the experience doesn't get any better. The agent may try to offer alternative plans or make you feel like you're the problem for wanting a refund. You should be able to cancel your account and get your money back without any hassle or blame.
Even if you are able to get a refund, the issues don't stop there. In some instances, there have been reports of charges being taken out of users' accounts even after they have successfully disputed and removed them. This is an unacceptable business practice that can not only cause frustration but can also lead to financial strains.
It's important to be aware of these issues and to research a company before providing any personal or financial information. As consumers, we deserve transparency and ease when it comes to canceling an account and receiving refunds. We hope that People Looker takes steps to improve their customer service and billing practices, so users don't have to go through the struggles that have been reported.
Not Recommended: My Disappointing Experience with PeopleLooker for Court Reports
After a disappointing experience with PeopleLooker, I would advise against using their platform. Despite my being aware that one of the offences I was seeking a court report for was a misdemeanour, I was unable to obtain any details about the case. I placed my order around 5:00 pm, and by the following morning at 8:00 am, I had received no response. What made matters worse was that the court was in the same time zone and was not even open for business yet!
I decided to call in to try and resolve the situation, but the excuses I received were numerous and unconvincing. They suggested that perhaps the Court Reporter was at the courthouse and could obtain the necessary records right away, but as I said previously, the court was not open at the time.
In light of this experience, I would strongly urge anyone seeking similar services to look elsewhere. I have had much better experiences with PeopleLooker's competitors and would advise against using this company at all costs. Save yourself the frustration and hassle by finding a more reliable and efficient service elsewhere.
Unreliable and Frustrating: A Review of PeopleLooker's Information Services
noting is that we were not able to access the site to see if we could get any more information out of it because the login information that they gave us was incorrect. Overall, the experience with PeopleLooker was very frustrating and unsatisfactory. We felt like we wasted our money on a service that did not deliver what it promised. The fact that they charged us despite our request to cancel our membership was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. It's also concerning that their information was so inaccurate, which makes us wonder how reliable their other information is. We would not recommend using PeopleLooker and suggest looking into other resources for finding information on individuals.
Review: PeopleLooker - A Disappointing and Expensive Service to Find Fraudulent Receiver
I recently found myself in a terrible situation where my PayPal and Bank accounts were hacked, and every single penny was stolen. I tried to reach out to PayPal for assistance, but their response was disheartening. Despite being provided with evidence that the money went to a 'trusted' or 'well-known' user, they refused to take any action. I had no clue what my next move was and was feeling lost and hopeless. Then, I thought of giving PeopleLooker (peoplelooker.com) a try to find the receiver of my hard-earned money.
As I didn't have much information about the person I was looking for, I was counting on PeopleLooker to come to my rescue. However, the first obstacle I faced was to pay their fee to use their search services. I paid the fee, hoping the end result would be worth it, but to no avail. Unfortunately, my hopes were crushed as PeopleLooker's search came up empty-handed. I couldn't believe it; I had to pay for a service that didn't provide me with any useful information, and it felt like I was scammed a second time.
I wouldn't recommend anyone using PeopleLooker's services, as they seem to be a waste of time and money. What happened to me was extremely frustrating and left me feeling helpless. It seems like they are making a profit off people who are already enough in need of help. It's crucial to have reliable services in a day and age where scams and fraud are rampant, but unfortunately, PeopleLooker isn't one of those agencies.
Beware of PeopleLooker's Deceptive Free Trial Offer: A Cautionary Review
As a potential user of PeopleLooker, I was initially drawn in by the promise of a "free" service. However, upon closer examination, I realized that this service is actually a subscription-based model that requires a monthly membership fee starting at $24.95 plus tax. While they claim not to charge you until the eighth day, this is not what most people would consider to be a free trial.
While I was personally in need of a complete history and was willing to pay for it, I was disappointed by the misleading advertising tactics used by PeopleLooker. Their initial promise of a free service gave me pause and made me question if there were other hidden costs or fees they weren't upfront about.
It's understandable for businesses to charge for their services, but it's important that they are transparent about their pricing from the start. PeopleLooker's deceptive marketing tactics left me with a bad feeling about the company overall.
While I haven't used their service myself, I would advise anyone considering using PeopleLooker to do so with caution. Don't be fooled by their claims of a "free" service, as it's anything but free. Make sure you understand all the costs associated with their service before signing up, and proceed at your own risk.
