Beware of Personnel Concepts: Misleading Sales Tactics and Unreasonable Fees
So, I got a call from Personnel Concepts in July and they said they could send us some updated labor law posters. The guy on the phone made it sound like we had worked with them before and said it would only cost around 60 bucks. But then, when I got the statement, it was over 200 dollars! I left a message asking for more information, but no one ever called me back. Then, today, they called me and said they were getting ready to send us to collections! I asked for more details and told them we were misquoted and wanted to cancel the subscription to avoid more fees. But the lady on the phone said they have a 7 day return policy and we were outside of that. I told her we're in Alaska and it takes at least that long to get anything in the mail. But she said it was 7 days from when we received the statement and even though I called within that time and didn't get a call back, they still won't cancel the extra charges. They're just trying to scam businesses and it's ridiculous! Don't trust them!
Review of Personnel Concepts: All-in-One Poster and Pushy Sales Tactics
The Personnel Concepts website is a great place to find an all-in-one poster that is both convenient and reasonably priced. I have been purchasing this space-saving poster for about five years now and I am okay with paying the $9.95 cost. However, I am not sure if it is worth the $19.95 "regular" price, especially when paying $5.95 for shipping.
Unfortunately, when it comes time to renew, the company does not just send a simple renewal notice or reminder. Instead, we received a "Suspension of Coverage" that included what could happen if we did not renew "today!" This can be quite alarming and stressful for business owners who are already busy with other tasks.
To make matters worse, I received a call from a representative mid-month after placing our order at the beginning of the month. The representative tried to talk me into purchasing more, but I declined and said that all we want is what we ordered. Then, last week, I received another call from someone who asked to speak with the owner. The caller identified herself as "Joy" but did not identify the company. When I asked what it was regarding, it became clear that she was a solicitor. I asked that she remove us from her call list, but she said she did not have a list and that it was regarding an order we had placed.
When I asked if she was from Personnel Concepts, she hesitated and then confirmed. She then proceeded to tell me she was calling on a recorded line and that she needed to confirm our information. I told her that someone from PC had already called and did that. She said she needed to do it again and apologized for multiple calls. I obliged and responded to her questions about my name, email address, and our company's address. She specifically asked if that was the correct billing address and then started talking about additional (poster) information and then a cost of something around $200.
I said we do not want anything more than what we had ordered and that we do not want to pay $200. She said that no one wants to pay the amount, but that we need the additional information. I said we would get whatever else we need from online. She said we cannot do that and that we must order the additional information. At that point, I put her on hold and asked one of our owners (an attorney) to speak with her.
It is important to note that employers are not required to purchase posters from private companies. The State of Washington, L&I website offers the following posters for free: "Contrary to some advertisements you may have received, employers aren't required to purchase posters from private companies. If you feel you have been misled by advertisements claiming posters must be purchased, you may file a complaint with the Washington State Office of the Attorney General at: atg.wa.gov/file-complaint."
In conclusion, the all-in-one poster from Personnel Concepts is handy, but be wary. It is a shame that the company does not just make a good product and try to build on that reputation. Based on my experiences over the years and from reading other reviews, PC tries to make money by misleading businesses into purchasing unneeded or unwanted products following an initial order. I will have to give this more thought next year to determine if the borderline harassment is worth the convenience of the all-in-one poster.
Buyer Beware: My Experience with Personnel Concepts
I gotta say, I opened up my mailbox and saw that mailer from Personnel Concepts and thought, "oh boy, here we go again with one of those skeevy marketing tricks." But then I thought, hey, wouldn't it be nice to have a laminated poster of all the state postings for an affordable price? So I took the plunge and used the promo code to order online for around 20 bucks.
A few days later, I get a call from a rep at Personnel Concepts wanting to confirm my shipping info and probe into my business details. They then start telling me that being fully compliant as an employer would set me back around $280. I mean, seriously? That's a lotta dough to shell out for some posters.
I declined their offer, but now I'm left wondering if I'll get harassed by this company in the future. What exactly do they plan on doing with my personal info? Who knows. All I know is that I'm not gonna be ordering from them again, no matter how much they want me to.
Haven't even seen my poster yet, but honestly, I couldn't care less how great it is. I'm just annoyed at this whole situation and wish I had done my research before diving in.
Beware of Personnel Concepts' Pushy Upselling Tactics for Labor Law Posters
I done used Personnel Concepts before without ain't no problems so I went ahead and ordered one of them updated posters from Pennsylvania that they was advertising for just ten bucks (the unlaminated kind). But then over the next dang month, I reckon my dang office got four more phone calls trying to upsell us to them federal posters and whatnot, and they said we owed another $350! The first three dang calls we told them we didn't dang want none of that and just wanted the poster we ordered. And then today they called again and we told them about them first three calls, but this gal on the phone was real pushy-like, ya know? So we canceled our order and told them to take us off their darn mailing list and not to call again! The sales lady even asked if I was the owner and I said yeah, so I reckon they'll keep pestering us anyway. Save yourself the trouble, folks. You can get them local and federal posters for your state for about $25 on the state's own website, I heard. So that's what I'm gonna wind up doing.
Beware: Personnel Concepts Scam - A Cautionary Tale for New Business Owners
As new business owners, my spouse and I were cautiously optimistic about our chances of success. At Personnel Concepts, however, our experience was less optimistic. Shortly after starting our design firm, we began to receive letters from them that claimed that we were out of compliance and that we owed nearly $100 for a poster. The letters made it clear that failure to pay could result in a fine of around $30,000. In the interests of avoiding any legal issues, we promptly paid the requested fee.
Much to our chagrin, however, the poster has yet to arrive, even weeks after we made our payment. To make matters worse, we have recently received yet another letter from Personnel Concepts stating that we are still noncompliant. We are now convinced that this organization is nothing more than a scam, and one that seems to benefit from government complicity.
Not a single cent should be given to these scammers, and we would counsel any new business owner to be extremely careful. As we discovered, there are plenty of people out there who will stop at nothing to take your money, no matter how 'official' something may look. Be sure to verify anything related to your business, as there are countless opportunistic individuals who would be more than happy to take advantage of your lack of experience.
Successfully Canceling Services with Personnel Concepts: My Experience and Tips
I just wanted to share my experience with Personnel Concepts (personnelconcepts.com). I had signed up for their services, but later realized that I did not need them and wanted to cancel. I was able to cancel successfully and get a credit back to my account, but it did take some effort.
First of all, I had to make sure not to open any packages I received from them. Instead, I sent back all the packages with confirmed delivery to the return address provided by Personnel Concepts, which is 3200 E Guasti Rd Ste 300, Ontario CA 91761. I made sure to save my return tracking numbers.
After this, I reached out to Personnel Concepts over the phone. Alternatively, you can wait until they call you with respect to your outstanding balance. I explained that I was not interested in their services, which in my case involved getting posters from a local supplier. I provided the tracking numbers of the return packages and my account was credited back to zero balance. I also asked the operator for my dispute number to make sure they closed my account.
One thing to note is that you might still receive letters from Personnel Concepts within the next 20 days. It takes time for the change to get reflected in their system.
Overall, while it was a bit frustrating to cancel my services with Personnel Concepts, I was ultimately successful. I hope this information can help other businesses with canceling as well. Peace.
Warning: Don't Fall for Personnel Concept's Poster Program
Okay, so let's talk about Personnel Concepts. I gotta be honest with you all, don't believe everything they say. They say we signed up for their poster program for a whole year, but let me tell you, we didn't. I received this big ol' $300 bill before I even got the poster, so I was like, heck no! When I finally saw the tube package they sent me, I just refused it right there and then. Ain't nobody got time for that.
So I called them up, and let me tell you, the guy who answered was the rudest person I've ever talked to. I was so mad, I started shaking like a leaf. He kept insisting that we signed up for the service, but I knew I was in the clear. We never paid that bill, and we keep getting more packages from them. Every time we get one, we just say, "No thanks! We didn't sign up for this!"
I called them again today, after getting yet another package. And guess what? Same thing as last time! They don't wanna cancel whatever service they think we signed up for. But apparently, it'll magically expire in 2020, and then they'll finally stop sending us stuff. The lady on the phone was just as rude as the guy from last time. Seriously, what kind of company does this? They can't even cancel my "imaginary" service.
So, let me give you some advice. Don't fall for it! They try to trick new businesses into thinking they need their posters or something. Guess what? You can get those posters for FREE if you know where to look. I really hope people do their research and Google this company before signing anything. Trust me, if you check the BBB, you'll find complaint after complaint. Just be smart and say no!
Beware of Personnel Concepts: Scam Company with Terrible Customer Service and Aggressive Sales Tactics
Wow, I gotta tell you folks about this company, Personnel Concepts, what a hot mess! So, they call me up and say I need some state compliance posters, and I'm like, okay fine, I'll fork out the $11.74 for them. But then they call me again and say I need more posters or else it's illegal, and they want me to pay $107.91 for them! Can you believe that? Well, I never got those posters, but when I called to tell them, the manager, Manny, gave me a hard time and wanted me to pay anyways. No way, José! They also got some salespeople who are super rude and pushy. Not cool, man!
So, I give them another call and ask how the heck they're gonna deliver these posters, 'cause they're supposed to come in a long cylinder tube and my mailbox is tiny. I'm running a business here, people! The sales rep tells me no problem, they'll get it sorted out and I'll get my posters soon. Only, surprise surprise, no such package ever arrives. Instead, I get a collection notice from some company called R. M. S. saying I owe them $399.23 for 3 products I never even ordered!
Let me tell you, folks, don't waste your time and money with Personnel Concepts. They're a total scam and will harass you like crazy. Stay far away from these guys.
Don't Fall for Personnel Concepts' Scam: A Cautionary Tale for New Business Owners
ATTENTION TO ALL NEW BUSINESS OWNERS!
I want to share a cautionary tale about my experience with Personnel Concepts (personnelconcepts.com). As someone who was excited to embark on my entrepreneurial journey, I thought I needed these posters from PC to show compliance with labor laws. But let me tell you, it was a huge mistake!
Firstly, I was already listed publicly on the web, which left me vulnerable to scam artists. Imagine my surprise when the DOL provided all these posters for FREE! I suggest everyone who considers doing business should Google them and save themselves the trouble and expense.
Secondly, PC tried to convince me that I needed these posters, even though I worked from home pre-Covid and post-Covid. When I reached out to them to ask more about it, they told me I must have them if I ever have someone work in my home. That is BS!
But that’s not all; I even received a scammy notice from PC where they asked for another $20 plus $6 to cover shipping for more posters. But the truth is, you can also get them for FREE online!
Be careful because their latest posters have an expiration date! Look at the fine print, their flip side paper states "WE PAY THE FINE" against government fines have expired which can actually tally up to $35k. Try to imagine how many people they have already cheated out of hard-earned money.
I definitely regret ever doing business with them. They don't deserve even one star. So, I urge all new business owners not to purchase anything from them. Instead, kindly download the posters you need from your local STATE DOL website and if you feel unsure about anything, CALL YOUR STATE DOL.
Bottom line: avoid this shady company at all costs!
Personnel Concepts: A Scam Targeting Small Businesses
This so-called Personnel Concepts seems to be a total scam! Imagine paying $5.95 for what was advertised as CA Labor Law posters only to receive an invoice for a whopping $270.51 as remaining balance. What a complete rip-off! I had to make a call to ask for clarification, and Loretta picked up. After explaining my situation, she agreed that we could return the falsely advertised poster.
However, that wasn't the end of the haggling, as I asked for reimbursement for the return shipping cost since it was not my error. I was unbelievably flabbergasted when Loretta insisted that not only would I be responsible for the return shipping, but also for paying the unpaid balance in full. How ridiculous is that?
These salespeople seem to be encouraging people to comply with their fake regulations, or they would face penalties. I am particularly displeased that this is a fraudulent marketing scheme aimed at taking advantage of vulnerable small businesses. What they're peddling is outrageous and deceitful, plain and simple. Why anyone would subject themselves to this exploitative mess blows my mind.
My blood is boiling, and I am making it my life's mission to write scathing reviews of this unscrupulous business model. Personnel Concepts seems to be engaging in illegal business practices, and I hope that their days are numbered because they deserve to be shut down.
If you've also fallen victim to their dastardly tactics, then I urge you to speak up and file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Together, we can raise awareness and stop Personnel Concepts from defrauding unsuspecting small businesses. Shame on you, Personnel Concepts!
Poor Customer Experience with Personnel Concepts: Lied, Refused to Cancel Order, and No Refund for Damaged Product
I had an experience with Personnel Concepts that was not very pleasant. I was a bit confused when they called me to confirm the order, but I didn't think it was a big deal. However, I soon realized that they had lied to me about what my boss had ordered and what we needed. This led to what should have been a $25 order, turning into a $200+ purchase.
Since my boss is an employment lawyer, we knew exactly what we needed for our office. When we called to cancel the order, they refused to do so, claiming that it had already been shipped. But when I checked the tracking information, it showed that the label had only been created and the package hadn't been sent out yet.
Although they told us we could refuse the package upon delivery and receive a refund, it arrived in an open tube with the posters inside damaged. Unfortunately, since it wasn't opened in front of us, we couldn't prove that it arrived that way and couldn't refuse it. When I contacted Personnel Concepts regarding the damaged product, they refused to give us a refund, claiming they weren't responsible for it. However, they were willing to give us a refund if we paid out of pocket to send it back, which seems unfair given that we never wanted this product in the first place.
Overall, I am disappointed that they lied about what we needed and ordered, and that they refused to cancel the shipment. It feels wrong that we are being expected to pay for a product that arrived damaged and that we didn't even want to begin with. I hope they will reconsider their policies and be more honest with their customers in the future.
Unethical Marketing: My Experience with Personnel Concepts Labor Law Posters
I gotta say, I'm not a big fan of Personnel Concepts. Let me tell you why. So, you get this letter in the mail that looks like it's from the State of Michigan, right? But when you open it up, it's actually just a sneaky tactic from Personnel Concepts to scare you into buying their updated labor law posters. And let me tell you, these guys are good at making it look official. It's really quite annoying.
I mean, don't get me wrong, their posters are actually decent quality (which is why I bought them in the past, despite my distaste for their tactics). But the fact that they're trying to impersonate a governmental agency just rubs me the wrong way.
And it's not like their posters are a one-and-done deal. Oh no, these labor laws seem to change constantly, so you'll likely need to update your posters every month or so. And at $45 or more per month, that's just not worth it to me.
Look, I get it, technically it is a legal requirement to have updated labor law posters. But I don't like companies that try to trick you or scare you into buying their stuff. And I'm sure there are plenty of new business owners out there who fall for their sneaky tactics (I know I did when I was starting out).
I've since switched to a different poster provider, but I still get these fake "compliance notices" from Personnel Concepts in the mail every now and then. It's really quite ridiculous.
Overall, I'd say their posters are fine, but their tactics are just not cool. And if you're a new business owner, beware of these fake notices from "PCI - Customer Compliance Department." They're not from the state, despite what they might look like.

Disappointing Sales Tactics: My Experience with Personnel Concepts
At first, I was a bit confused when I received a call from Personnel Concepts. I thought it was some kind of government agency or something, but it turned out to be a company that sells labor law posters and compliance solutions. The person on the phone was trying to confirm my order, but then they started pushing for additional sales. I politely declined, but they wouldn't take no for an answer. They kept saying they were trying to help and wouldn't stop talking.
Eventually, I got frustrated and told them I wanted to cancel my order. But even after I hung up, I received a shipment confirmation email. I was really annoyed and wanted to cancel my order, but I didn't want to waste any more time dealing with them. Needless to say, I won't be ordering from Personnel Concepts again.
Overall, my experience with Personnel Concepts was not great. While their products may be useful, their sales tactics left a bad taste in my mouth. I would have appreciated a more straightforward approach, without all the pressure to buy more. If you're looking for labor law posters and compliance solutions, there are probably better options out there.
Terrible Experience with Personnel Concepts: Unwanted Charges and Scare Tactics
I gotta say, I had a pretty bad experience with Personnel Concepts. I was just looking for some posters, you know, to make sure we were in compliance with all the rules and regulations. But then they started charging our card for all kinds of stuff we never even agreed to! And when I called to tell them to stop, they just wouldn't listen. They kept using all these scare tactics, telling me we were gonna get fined and all that. It was really frustrating.
And it's not like this was just a one-time thing. They've been calling us for almost two years now, even though I've told them over and over again that we're not interested. They just keep using the same old tactics, trying to get through to HR by talking to the receptionist and making her feel all scared and stuff. It's really not cool.
Honestly, I wouldn't recommend Personnel Concepts to anyone. They're just not a good company to do business with. They need to learn how to listen to their customers and respect their wishes. And if they can't do that, then maybe they should just be shut down altogether.
Mixed Experience with Personnel Concepts: Pushy Sales Tactics and Useful Posters
I recently had an experience with Personnel Concepts and wanted to share my thoughts. I initially purchased labor and compliance posters from them for my coffee shop. The posters were helpful in keeping my business in compliance with regulations. However, when it came time to renew and pay again, I declined their offer. Despite my request to not be contacted again, they continued to call me every day. It was frustrating to deal with their persistent sales tactics.
To make matters worse, they tried to intimidate me by suggesting that I was out of compliance and that the call was being recorded. This made me feel uncomfortable and pressured to buy from them. I said no to their offer at least 20 times, but they still wouldn't give up. Eventually, they called my business line and spoke with one of my employees who repeatedly told them that she was not a manager. However, they persisted and even confirmed our address by saying the word "compliance" over and over again.
Despite my frustration with their sales tactics, they did end up sending the posters and charging me $391. While I appreciate the posters and their usefulness, I don't appreciate the way they went about trying to sell them to me. It's important for companies to respect their customers' decisions and not pressure them into buying something they don't want or need.
Overall, my experience with Personnel Concepts was mixed. While I appreciate the posters, I don't appreciate their pushy sales tactics. If you're considering using their services, be prepared to deal with persistent sales calls and pressure to buy.

Pushy and Misleading: My Experience with Personnel Concepts
So, I recently had an experience with Personnel Concepts and I have to say, it wasn't the best. It all started when I saw that they were offering a single poster for only $10. I thought to myself, "Wow, what a great deal!" Little did I know, that $10 poster would turn into a $500 bill.
I tried to tell them that I didn't want their posters, but they were very pushy and almost made me feel like I had to buy them or else my business would be in violation of federal and state laws. I mean, come on, who wants to feel like they're being bullied into buying something they don't even need?
I finally had enough and told them that I could just visit my state department of labor website and order the poster for free. The same goes for OSHA and the federal government's Department of Labor. But even after all of that, they still kept calling me almost weekly. And get this, they even started calling my private cell phone!
It's just frustrating when companies like Personnel Concepts try to take advantage of small business owners like myself. I would definitely think twice before doing business with them again.
Beware of Personnel Concepts: My Experience with Their Business Materials Scam
So, let me tell you guys about my experience with this company called Personnel Concepts. They told me that my business needs these materials to be compliant with the law, and I believed them. I mean, I'm just a young entrepreneur, how was I supposed to know, right? Anyway, they took my payment over the phone, just $11, not much, but still, it was my hard-earned money. I was expecting the materials to arrive soon, and they did. However, when I opened the package, there was no packing slip, no indication of what was inside or if there was anything else I needed to do.
I assumed that the payment I made was enough to cover everything, but boy was I wrong! A few days later, I received a bill for $200! I was shocked and angry. How could they do this to me? I felt like I was scammed. They prey on first-time business owners who don't know any better. This is totally unfair and shouldn't be allowed.
I urge you guys to be careful with this company. Don't fall for their tricks and don't trust them blindly. I wish I had done my research before making any payments. I hope no one else has to go through what I went through. Stay safe, guys!
Personnel Concepts Review: Don't Get Scammed by Their Fear Tactics
I gotta say, I just ain't feelin' Personnel Concepts. They're basically tryin' to sell you something you can get from your state for free, and that just ain't right. Plus, they're usin' all kinds of scare tactics to make you think you need their help, which just ain't cool. Don't fall for it, folks! Do some research before you hand over any money or information. Ask your accountant or bookkeeper or even just ask around. There's gotta be a better option out there somewhere!
Mixed Feelings: Personnel Concepts' Marketing is On Point, But Shady Tactics Need Fixing
Yo, as a small biz owner, I was stoked to find Personnel Concepts for all my compliance needs. I thought I had everything I needed, but then I got a call sayin' I needed to buy more stuff. Like WTF, man?! I was all annoyed and stuff 'cause I felt misled. I mean, they should make it clearer from the jump what you actually NEED to be compliant, ya know? So, I gotta give props to their hustle for tryna get more cash, but they gotta clean up their act and make it crystal clear what you gotta get. Thumbs up for the marketing game, but thumbs WAY down for the shady tactics.
Unethical practices, high bonuses but at what cost: My Experience at Personnel Concepts
I had the opportunity to work at Personnel Concepts for approximately four months. At first, I was super excited about this job and felt like the pay was pretty decent. However, as time went on, I realized it wasn't as great as everyone had made it out to be, and I started to notice some things that made me uneasy.
One of the things that really bothered me was the fact that we had to lie to our customers pretty much every day. I remember feeling terrible after I had to tell an elderly woman that she had to purchase a particular product to stay compliant with some vague regulations. These people trusted us to give them honest advice, and I really struggled with being dishonest just to keep up with the demands of my job.
Another aspect of this job that I didn't enjoy was the fact that they paid really high bonuses. It might sound good to receive those extra funds, but the reason why they pay out so much is because they know that many employees will burn out quickly. The workload is intense, and it's tough to maintain any sort of work-life balance.
Overall, I found Personnel Concepts to be quite a tough place to work. While the pay was decent, the stress and pressure of the job just wasn't worth it. I didn't appreciate that management didn't care about our well-being, and the culture of dishonesty really took its toll on me. If you're considering working here, I would advise you to think twice.
Beware of Personnel Concepts: Using False Threats to Sell Labor Law Posters
This company, Personnel Concepts, is not to be trusted. They sent me a letter that looked like it was from the State of Washington about labor law posting requirements, and they were using some scary threats to try to get me to buy their products. They said that if I didn't comply, I could face a fine of over $32,000! That's insane! As a small business owner, I simply can't afford that kind of penalty.
But the truth is that Personnel Concepts is just trying to scare me into giving them my money. I did a little research and found out that I can get these labor law posters for free from my local Department of Labor office. So why would I pay for them from this shady company?
It's really disappointing that there are businesses out there that rely on lies and scare tactics to make a profit. I'm not going to fall for it, and I hope other small business owners are smart enough to see through this nonsense too. Don't give your hard-earned money to companies like Personnel Concepts. Instead, do your own research and find legitimate resources to help you navigate the often-confusing world of labor law.
Unreliable, Untrustworthy, and Obnoxious: My Experience with Personnel Concepts
I had been hoping to give Personnel Concepts a try for my small, seasonal business. However, my experience with them has been just as many others have shared. I signed up briefly, but quickly realized that it wasn't the right fit for me. Despite my cancellation, I continued to receive communication that I didn't ask for. And, to my surprise, I also started receiving bills for documents that I had no recollection of requesting or receiving.
This whole ordeal has been a headache, to say the least. In fact, I'm currently grappling with my second collections agency that has been calling me nonstop. Each interaction has been accompanied by threatening messages, which is completely outrageous. I cannot believe that Personnel Concepts could treat its customers this way. They should be ashamed of themselves.
It's clear to me that they're predatory and have little regard for their customers or their reputation. In fact, I'm now considering filing a complaint with my state's Attorney General's Office for Consumer and Business Affairs. I suspect that their fraud department will have something to say about Personnel Concepts' behavior.
All in all, I would not recommend Personnel Concepts to anyone. They have proven themselves to be unreliable, untrustworthy, and downright obnoxious. If you're looking for a reputable provider, you'll want to look elsewhere.
Scam Alert: Beware of Personnel Concepts' Shady Business Practices and False Threats
I had a really bad experience with Personnel Concepts. These guys kept calling me non-stop throughout the day and insisting that I pay them $265 for services I never even requested. I was really surprised when they sent my information to credit collection without any warning.
It turns out these guys are not legit at all and are pretending to be government agencies in order to scam new business owners. They even went as far as to threaten me with legal action, saying that I was violating Labor Laws. This is really shady stuff.
I wouldn't recommend anyone using their services, as all they're trying to do is collect as much personal information from you as they can so that they can keep scamming you in the future. It's really frustrating to deal with companies like this, and I wouldn't wish this kind of experience on anyone else.
Beware of Personnel Concepts: Scam Alert!
I got some stuff from this company called Personnel Concepts in the mail and let me tell you, it looks official and all, but it's a scam. They try to intimidate you by listing fines you suppose to pay if you don't use their services. I wasn't really thinking and fell for it and guess what? It cost me over $100 to get posters that I found out later I could get from the Department of Workforce Development for only $24. Talk about feeling like a chump.
And if that wasn't bad enough, they call me at least three times a week, telling me I'm not in compliance and that I need to go over their procedures. I keep telling them I got it covered, but they just won't stop. It's really annoying and it makes me wonder why anyone would work for such a sleazy outfit.
Let me tell you, if you're thinking about using Personnel Concepts, do yourself a favor and look for another company. They're just a bunch of con artists trying to rip you off. And if you already made the same mistake I did, don't worry, you can still go to the Department of Workforce Development and get what you need for way cheaper.
Warning: Don't Waste Your Money with Personnel Concepts - A Total Rip-Off
I gotta tell ya, folks, stay away from Personnel Concepts if you want to keep your hard-earned dough in your pocket. These guys are a total rip-off, and they'll try and pull the wool over your eyes quicker than you can say "Department of Labor". They prey on people who are just starting out in business, and try and charge them for documents that are available for free to anyone who takes a little time to look them up. I mean, seriously, who do these guys think they are?
To make matters worse, they go ahead and send you stuff without even asking if you want it or not! Like, who does that? And then they have the nerve to threaten to send you to a debt collector if you don't pay up for stuff you never even asked for in the first place! It's just plain wrong. And when you try and send the stuff back, they won't even let you! I mean, come on, man, that's just not right.
So let me tell you, dear readers, don't go anywhere near these guys. If you're starting a new business and need some advice on what documents you need, just do a little research on your own. You'll save yourself a ton of money and a whole lot of headaches. Trust me, stick with the free resources and you'll be just fine. Stay away from Personnel Concepts, and keep your hard-earned cash where it belongs - in your pocket!
Unprofessional Approach and Misguidance: My Experience with Personnel Concepts
I recently had an experience with Personnel Concepts, and it was not a pleasant one. As a new business owner, I was unaware of the federal and state labor posting laws. So, I decided to do some research online and came across Personnel Concepts. I was intrigued by their website and decided to place an order online, which cost me around $11. However, what followed were a series of unpleasant calls from them.
Initially, I wondered why they were calling me multiple times. They kept telling me that the product I had ordered did not meet the requirements and that I needed to pay an additional $259 to get something more compliant. The repetitive blablabla I was being spewed did not sound encouraging, as their tone was quite coercive. But, I later discovered that what they were saying was not true. I could print those postings for free from the Department of Labor website. Despite that, I still wanted something much smaller and neater to post in my office, and that is why I opted for Personnel Concepts.
I explained this to them on several occasions, but they kept insisting that I needed to pay more money. I was getting frustrated with their lack of understanding. Finally, I grew tired of their constant harassment and demanded that they cancel my order and refund my money. However, there was no response from them, and I had no confirmation of my cancellation.
To my surprise, two weeks after placing my order, I received my shipment. I didn't even know what to make of it. It seemed as if they shipped the order to stop me from canceling it. I was extremely disappointed with their unprofessional approach and their misguidance.
In conclusion, if you are a new business owner and looking for federal and state labor posting laws, I strongly suggest not to opt for Personnel Concepts. You can easily print the posters for free from the government website. Do not fall for their trap as I did. Save your time, effort, and money and avoid such companies.
