As a former employee, there is many things I can tell you why this company is bad news and a complete sham. I know that being a former employee could make anyone think I'm just venting and trying to do harm to a company that did me wrong. . Rest assured, I am not writing this for retribution but to make consumers and potential employees aware of the joke this company is and is not worth your time or money.

The reasons this company is horrible for multiple reasons, but it starts at the top with the mis-management and poor leadership of Jon Stover, Don Cadilac, Robert Perez, Tom Barry and Brad Shaffer. Jon Stover is the owner of the company who's bottom line is max profit for minimal investment in employees and time. Jon is more focused on acquisitions of failing companies and sales then he is about hiring and keeping quality employees. Tom Barry is the manager of the customer service department that supposedly handles scheduling and billing. When I worked for PestBear, this department single-handily destroyed any credibility a technician or field supervisor had with clients by scheduling incorrectly, not at all, billing for services not done, or ultimately, not handling clients with the care and service that they expected. Brad Shaffer is a former gym membership salesman (and steroid user), with no experience in pest control, who manages all field sales and pushes managers and techs to make sales he himself cannot make. He is responsible for the myriad of sales calls from the technicians and managers to add on services. This man could not grasp the concept of service first if it hit him in the face. Don Cadilac is over paid and under performing manager who allegedly is in charge of all sales, a plain joke. Robert Perez is a former co-owner who left and came back, and now is the district manager who came in to "improve the company" internally. This man is best suited for technical assistance and not management. He is an illiterate, who manages by threatening your job security at every opportunity he has and micro manages all aspects of the day to day operations.

If you want to work here, these are a few of the ### clowns you will be dealing with along with 12 hour workdays with no overtime, mandatory Saturdays at least once a month, and no appreciation other than a paycheck which falls short of the effort that is placed to get it.

Consumers Beware: Appointment times are rarely followed, cycle scheduling is never done properly, multiple bills immediately after service are a norm, even if you pay at service. Technicians are instructed to consistently dilute the pesticides for profitability. Service prices go up for service without notification, and customer service is based at a corporate office in Tampa with no clue or care for the area you are in, or first hand knowledge of the logistics of the territory you are in.. STAY AWAY and do not spend your $$$ on this crapper of a company. Ultimately, this company will sell out to the competition so there is hope for the existing customers. For existing custemors who are told they are under a service contract for pest control and there is a cancellation fee, THIS IS A FLAT OUT LIE. You can cancel the service whenever you like. Also, if you have a termite warranty or 'bond', be sure that the chemical usage is properly labeled on your electrical panel, and if repairs are necessary, use a licensed contractor of YOUR choosing, not who the company suggests or uses. This was another ploy used to save money at the client's expense. I hope this helps, even if it only helps one person.
