I am writing to file a formal complaint against Comcast Business for failing to honor a promise made to me regarding the reimbursement of half of my companies final bill. On January 8, 2025, a representative from Comcast Business verbally agreed to reimburse me nearly 50% of our final bill amount. This agreement was confirmed during a conversation I had with Desmond from their Loyalty support group during a phone call.
However, despite this clear agreement, when I contacted Comcast Business to follow up on the reimbursement, I was informed that there were no notes or records indicating that such a promise had been made. This lack of documentation is both frustrating and unacceptable, as I was assured that the reimbursement would be processed.
I have made 8 different attempts to resolve this matter directly with the company, but each time, I was met with either inadequate responses or more promises that communication would be had through supervisors and they(the supervisor) would call me back which never happened. There was absolutely no resolution at all. I feel that I have been misled and that the company is not fulfilling its commitments.
Recommendation: Find a different company. We have had nothing but issues with services and billing with Comcast. They tell lies (make promises) to get what they want but don't document it so then it becomes a "he said she said". Horrible
