I have a 401K with three institutions, PRINCIPAL is by far the worst. They charged me $300.00 to make a transfer, when SCHWAB charged me nothing for a similar transaction. It took PRINICIPAL more than 3 months to complete the transaction when SCHWAB completed a similar transaction in 3 days. I would never have anything to do with this fraudulent and poorly managed institution. Considering the competition this institution should not even exist.

Recommendation: Move your money somewhere else as fast as you can.
