rip off
I signed on to puppyfind.com and most of the puppies I researched the web site kept asking me to sign up to get complete details regarding puppies listed. Once I signed up and got complete details I found that every listing ( golden retrievers )in my home state was outdated. The most recent listing was 12 months old and when I called the breeder, they were puzzled saying the dogs I was calling about were born a year ago. I called puppyfind.com and told them allthe goldens were outdated and they asked me to sign up and pay just to send me to a dead end. I asked for a refund and they basically blew me off.
false advertising
I recently bought a puppy from puppy find. Despite all the negatives surrounding the site. I have used it before, and found an outstanding quality Cane Corso female puppy. From a very reputable breeder I had heard of in the cane corso community. I have even seen "Redrock Cane Corso" advertise on there. They have five dogs going to Westminster. They are an excellent breeder. So, I had not been scammed on puppy find, up to this point. The breeder(if you could call her that) advertised show quality, champion bloodlines with papers. After a couple weeks of correspondence, we bought him(the male cane corso puppy. She wanted us to book the flight, which is strange, usually the seller does that. The buyer just pays extra for the shipping. I asked all the right questions before we got him, but just got lied to. After we picked him up we noticed he was terrified, growling at my little kids. With no socializing at all. Then after a couple days we noticed his eye was red and tearing still(we saw this when we first got him, and assumed it was a cold from the flight). I took him to my vet and found out he had a genetic disease, and needed surgery right away. Also he had no papers to speak of. I immediately contacted the seller, and found out she had known about the condition, and just didn't tell us. She acts like it's no big deal. She won't answer any more calls, or emails. Her name is Violet Bartlett, and she completely scammed me.

Listen I am not going to waste the energy it takes to type a lengthy explanation of why you are so very wrong idiot. Just call this number and see for yourself.
I am not a total ###, I realize just visiting a website doesn't make you a member. You however are the one who is mistaken. Im done arguing with you about it though. Are you getting some kind of thrill, thinking your showing me up? Hahaha! Listen lad I have had dealings with akc for many moons now, and I feel confident in my argument. Ya know what they say, it takes a real man to admit when he's wrong. I guess I haven't been arguing with one.
I can't believe that guy said the AKC is" a registry not a club " thats the funniest thing I heard this millennia
Pure Genius
What does AKC stand for hhmm let me see. American Kennel Club. Hahahahahaha
I meant, he seems like that type.
Thats ok, I could see how he could. All I wanted to do was vent, and he just made me feel worse. I wouldn't do that to someone ya know?
Is everyone on drugs, I can't understand that language, sorry
Thank you xenophobicons. I appreciate your comment. I was just so irritated with that nit wit zach because of how he was speaking down to me. I mean i just got scammed. I would never speak to someone in that position with such little compassion. Yes I got scammed. I have dealing with breeders for years. I am a member of the AKC. I should have known better.
I guess thats what I get for posting on the internet. Any kind of trash can comment.
Zachary s. Who do you think you are. Have you ever been scammed? It's just ignorant to suggest everyone on that site is a scam artist. Its like ebay or craigslist. There all mixed together. Why don't you do the world a favor and shut your negative, uninformed, immature, mouth. Get a life and keep your negative comments to yourself. Ps you are not the worlds expert on dog breeders are you. Your lucky I don't know where you live.
I know it is you Chaya.
We got a puppy from her too, with loads of problems.
Violet, your dogs are horribly bred. They have the worst genetic flaws I have every seen. You can keep telling your lies, but the facts speak for themselves. I tried to be reasonable. If you want to keep this up great, we were wronged. If your too much of a coward, and crook than that's what you will have to answer for.
In response to Chaya Dieffenbaughers comments about Violet Bartlett. That is me by the way. I am not a bad breeder. Chaya never even asked about bloodlines or mentioned breeding this dog. I sent her countless pics of the dog. I even drove for 4 hours to put it on the plane for her, so the dog would only be on the plane for a short time instead of all day. The pup had one bottom eyelid turned under a little. which is very easy to fix. I even offered to pay for it. For the first week they loved the pup couldn, t thank me enough. She said he slept with her little girl everynight. Then a week later they don, t want him because he, s not good for breeding. She demanded her money back plus shipping both ways. I was willing to try and work things out with her however when all someone can do is call you names and put you down., you can, t work with people like that. I am very worried about this pup. Out of all my pups this is the only person I, ve ever had problems with. Most people stay in touch with me, and send pictures of their dogs. I, ve never had any health problems come back on us about our pups. This is not a serious health issue unless you don, t take care of it.
You want me to call the AKC to ask them if I can be a member of the club when it is plainly posted on their website that "DOG CLUBS, NOT INDIVIDUAL PEOPLE, MAKE UP THE MEMBERSHIP OF THE AKC"?
Here is the AKC's definition of itself:
"The American Kennel Club, a not-for-profit organization established in 1884, maintains a purebred dog registry, sanctions dog events and promotes responsible dog ownership."
Also on the AKC website: "The AKC is a "club of clubs." Although we have no individual members, the hundreds of independent dog clubs throughout the United States, which are licensed by us to hold dog events under our rules, do have individual members."
So, there are at least 2 different places on their site where AKC says that they have no individual members. Let me put it in plain English for you - unless you are a dog club, you are NOT a member of the AKC. You can register dogs with them, you can show dogs in AKC events, and you can become a member of their website so you get updates from them but you will NEVER be a "member" of the AKC.
BTW, since you are so familiar with the AKC website, perhaps you have already read this: http://www.akc.org/future_dog_owner/puppy_buyers_beware.cfm You must have ignored the parts where it says to check out a breeder BEFORE you send money and also to be aware of sites that use cute puppy pictures to scam potential buyers.
Good Lord, you are dense. Anyone can go to the AKC website. That doesn't make you a "member" of the AKC. If you sign up for the WEBSITE, you become a "member" of the WEBSITE, not the AKC.
From the AKC website: "How can I become a member of the American Kennel Club?
Dog clubs, not individual people, make up the membership of the AKC. Four times each year, delegates from each of the approximately 500 independent clubs assemble at a meeting where they decide the rules of the sport and elect 12 long-time dog fanciers to sit on the Board of Directors"."
So, people are not "MEMBERS" of the AKC - get it?
Macho Macho Man, I want to be a Macho Man
No one is a "member of the AKC". It's a registry, not a club.
Try this one more time
Xeno might be calling me a D-bag. Not sure.

entrapment
This company is using illegal tactics of entrapment to refuse service to paying advertisers. I was told today by Sheila that they call people and pretend that they are fake customers to gain information about the business and see if they wish to deny the ability to advertise on their site. Thye do not disclose who they are when calling all they do is trry to trick them into giving some unsatisfactory information to decline service. They make decisions that are based off of opinion and personal likings and not facts. I am hoping that others will join in and someone will be willing to look into this case. Puppyfind.com at [protected]. I was also told that they ban accounts via email AND PHONE numbers. So I asked well what happens if someone gets a new phone that belongs to an account that was once removed she said well then they will also be banned from ever advertising. Even if they have no relation they draw a conclusion based on phone number alone.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
They take money off your card without authorization even 2 months after deleting your account
Greetings,
My name is Matt, and I'm the Relationship Manager with Puppyfind.com. I'm leaving a comment to clear up any mis-information that has been provided by the complainant.
While the complainant has spoken with a manager at Puppyfind.com, the manager did not supply this sort of information to the complainant. If and when it is necessary to remove an account from Puppyfind.com for violation of our Terms of Service (TOS), the company will only do so after performing the proper investigation, research, and proper questioning as needed. If we need to contact a member or an individual related to a situation we are investigating, proper identification of Puppyfind.com will be provided. Accounts are not simply removed per an opinion or 'personal liking'. Proof must be provided for any account to be removed. Whether it is an overseas scammer infiltrating our site or a puppy mill that has been turned in, we require proof that the account has violated our TOS, and we obtain that proof through legitimate avenues of research.
Puppyfind.com works daily to remove accounts that are found to be in violation of our TOS. We do not sit back and let bad accounts to persist on our website. If an account is brought to our attention that we discover is in violation of our Terms, the proper procedures and actions will be taken with the account. If a member turns out to be legitimate, but perhaps is violating the TOS without their knowledge, they will be given the chance to correct their account. If an account is found to be in constant violation, even after multiple notifications to correct their account, the member will be given a final warning that their account may be suspended if corrective action is not taken on their end. If an account is suspended, the member must contact a Customer Service Manager to discuss their account and the situation at hand. If this scenario happens multiple times, an account can be danger of being banned for constant violation of our TOS. It is not our desire to see a situation like this take place, as we do our best to accommodate legitimate members of our website, but if they cannot abide by our TOS, then disciplinary measures must take place to protect the website and our legitimate members.
While I do acknowledge that our website is not perfect, we are doing the best we can to provide quick and smooth service to all legitimate members, while dealing with problematic situations in responsible ways that are the most appropriate for Puppyfind.com and our members, as a whole.
Thank you for your time,
Matt

reviews
Puppyfind.com allows negative reviews be placed on seller's account without notification to seller's that they are there. So the negative review is there for the public to see even before the seller gets a chance to tell their side of the story or prove their case and many times the seller doesn't even realize the review is there. Puppyfind.com told me that if a buyer can prove that they bought a dog from the seller that the review gets to be put on for the public to see, it does not matter that the seller has proven their case and it does not matter what any agreement/contract states or whether the buyer held up their end of the bargain at all. So forget your puppy agreements or contracts because they mean nothing to puppyfind.com puppyfind.com also informed me that the buyer can at anytime request the review be striken, so if we make nice and buy off the buyer than maybe we can get our false review striken too...doesn't seem reasonable or very fair. Another thing I have figured out from the system is that someone can have a 2 or 3 star rating instead of a 5 star rating and that is based just on people using the review system to ask questions and coding it with only 2 or 3 stars and not because they bought a dog, so their other response to me isn't exactly true either when they told me that someone has to prove they bought a dog from you. That means that all seller's need to be aware of this and ask puppyfind.com to remove those. All sellers need to check their reviews period. I am sure that buyers have had their share of problems with puppyfind.com too, but please be aware that someone might have a bad review that really didn't have a bad review...puppyfind.com will let just about anything stand on the review system. I would certainly rely on checking other methods or references before being discouraged from buying from someone on puppyfind.com, but i would certainly watch for the scammers that use puppyfind.com too. I also wanted to say that when i asked them one time for a phone number i was told that they did business strickly by email, they did not have a call center or a way for people to phone, but if anybody wants to email me I can provide the current phone number they are using...I got it first on my credit card statement and then later on they suddenly wanted to contact me and talk by phone...and they gave me the number...lol... I also want to say and I have alot more i could say about them, but this is the last thing for now, one time I contacted them about a scammer and several days later the scammer was still running on puppyfind.com, I mentioned it to them again and they sent me an interesting reply which I still have. It took several days for them to finally remove the scammer's listings. I just wonder how many people got scammed in the meantime. You can email me at [protected]@hotmail.com if you have things that have happened to you, that includes buyers and sellers.
I bought a dog from Route 66 English Bulldogs. after getting my money I was informed that the dog had swollen testicles and needed surgery. I refused delivery of the dog and the seller who had my money for 6 hours refused to give it back.
Puppyfind was contacted after my review was removed by the seller. I sent 30 pages of proof into Puppyfind and they sided with the seller who has all my money and the dog.
DO NOT USE THIS SITE> Puppyfind will not back you up, only the $$$$seller. People are loosing their shirts being scammed by buying SICK animals.
I purchased a puppy from Danielle's puppys in puppyfind, a king charles cavalier who has some severe health problems including a heart murmer which is very bad for this breed and an eye problem that needs surgery. I have all of the back up of correspondence with her, we came to an agreement and then she broke off all contact. I also posted negative reviews that were deleted and i contacted support and have yet to hear back from them. Her name is Danielle wilson from Joplin, MO - and also sells under Ruff Life Puppies. DO NOT BUY FROM HER! She is deceitful and dishonest. I also posted my email address offering to forward all documentation to whoever wanted it proving all that has happened. She also has the nerve to have a pic of my puppy on her ruff life website. This person has no ethics at all!
Why does puppyfind not allow negative reviews? It looks like she is great but is not! do not buy from puppyfind either they do not allow honest reviews.
Greetings,
My name is Matt, and I am the Relationship Manager with Puppyfind.com. I recently came across this complaint against Puppyfind.com, and initially contacted the complainant directly. It has been a couple of weeks since they were contacted, and no reply has been sent back to me. I therefore feel it necessary to leave a public comment concerning this complaint.
I would like to begin by first apologizing to the complainant and all others who have negative experiences while using the services of Puppyfind.com. My apology specifically speaks to those who have had issues with our review system in particular.
A recurring theme in the complaint is that the Puppyfind.com review system allegedly caters primarily to the 'Buyer' members of our website. While the system was created to provide Buyers a place to leave a comment for other potential Buyers to view, we certainly do not cater to Buyers only. It has always been our hope that the review section of our website would be a place where our Seller members could be represented fairly, with only the truth being provided in the posted reviews. Unfortunately, it appears that not every Buyer that leaves a review on our website is always an honest individual. Because of this, Puppyfind.com must step in to mediate situations that require a third party to intervene.
I must acknowledge that our review system is not without its flaws, and that the website in general needs various upgrades so it can be the best website it can be. We will be going through an overhaul as soon as we are able to successfully make all the necessary changes. These types of changes take time however, and for a company our size, the change cannot take place overnight. Puppyfind.com is listening to our members and we want to provide a service that will benefit people, not frustrate them. We have heard the complaints about notifications concerning reviews, and that is one of the areas that we are working on.
Currently, the review system is set up to allow Buyers post a review to a Sellers account on Puppyfind.com. If a Buyer posts an unnecessary review (regardless of how many stars they give the post), it will be removed from the Sellers account. Unnecessary reviews would consist of questions about a dog for sale, generalized statements about a dog, or anything that is not specifically talking about a particular sales experience a Buyer had with a Seller concerning a dog advertised on our site.
If a review is posted that the Seller feels should not appear on their account, they have the power to remove the review from public view. Once this takes place, Puppyfind.com is alerted and our Quality Management team will then step in to mediate the situation. Both the Seller and the Buyer will be contacted to inform them of what is taking place with the review. Both parties will be asked for evidence to support their reasons for either wanting the review removed or restored to the website for public view. If a Seller wants the review kept off of the website, they must provide proof that indicates the review is false and must be removed. If a Buyer wants the review restored to the site, they must provide proof that indicates the review is completely factual. Based on the proof we receive, a decision will then be made to either remove or restore the review. There may be occasions where the majority of the review is true, except for some statements that may be incorrect. If this is the case, the Buyer is asked to re-write the review to be completely factual so it can be restored for the public to view.
As this is the current policy for the website, it must be acknowledged that Puppyfind.com does not cater to one side over another. Any decision that is made about a review situation in question is made based off of the facts of the situation. In one case the decision may be on the Sellers side, and in another case the decision may be on the Buyers side. It just depends on the evidence we receive from both parties.
Buyers can also ask for a review to be removed if they don't want it appearing on the website anymore. If it's a negative review and both sides have come to some sort of agreement that settles any issues between both parties, then the Buyer may ask for the review to be removed and that request will be honored. This does not mean that Puppyfind.com encourages Buyers to 'go after' Sellers so they can be 'bought off', but we do encourage both parties to work together to come to an agreement if one is possible. Coming to an agreement does not necessarily mean that a review will be removed or kept on the site, either.
Puppyfind.com always wants to make sure that both parties are given an equal amount of time and respect when going through a situation where a review is in dispute. If any confusion or miscommunication occurs between Puppyfind.com and the members involved in a disputed review, we want to be made aware of this so we can do our best to correct any problems our website may have inadvertently caused. We want to provide the best service to all our members, not just some of them.
Concerning the topic of communication with members, Puppyfind.com is a small company, and we have limited resources with which to work. This does not mean we do not have the capability to run a website, but it does mean that we don't have hundreds of Customer Support Representatives at a call center. Because we don't have that kind of facility, we encourage people to email us their questions and concerns. We reply as quickly as we can, with no more than 48 business hour passing before a reply is sent. If a particular situation requires a phone call, then we will certainly make sure a phone call happens. My apologies for any confusion this policy may have caused.
Concerning scammers and Puppyfind.com, we work daily to combat the many scammers that try to use Puppyfind.com to find potential victims for their scams. If there has ever been a particular scammer that was on the website for several days after they had been reported, we ask that any member noticing this please contact us immediately so we may research their account to find out why they have been on our website for so long. We do everything we can to make sure any scammers that do make it onto the website are removed as quickly as possible.
I am aware that some time has passed since this complaint initially appeared on this website, but I still wanted to leave a comment concerning the complainant. It is my hope and the hope of the website that we can provide the best service possible to all our members. Through appropriate communication with our members, and hard work on our part to make a better Puppyfind.com, I know this can be accomplished.
Thank you very much for your time,
Matt

Lady purchased a puppy from me that was certified healthy by two vets and then comes back and says the puppy is sick. I offered her a FULL refund that included shipping and she said no she was afraid I would have the puppy euthanized! Now she puts a negative review on puppy find and says she will remove it if I will give her most of her money back and she gets to keep the puppy! Smell a scam here? Conatacted puppy find and they said there's nothing they can do about it. Why do buyers not get to tell there side of the story? Disgusting!
AGREE STRONGLY!
I had a psycho lady drive from louisiana and she bought one of my dogs. She put down a deposit thru paypal.com and had me hold the dog for almost a month. Then she complained about the drive all the way to Oklahoma. She spread garbage lies about how I raise my dogs and then had the nerve to finshed her comment with "BUT THE DOG IS A CUTTIE". In reality she was happy. Some jerk with puppyfind name Brian would not listen to my plea and he would not remove the comments until I finally demanded him to close my account and he did so. PUPPYFIND.COM Your day is coming.
stay away from puppyfind.com
I notified puppyfind.com 46 times regarding scammers on there site trying to steal monies from people. people from Africa mostly, and 42 times they have sent me back the same stupid we do all we can do emails in return. the 4 emails from them were (why don't you get lost and go to another site.) I emailed them back and suggested that they are involved and scammers and there reply was, heheheh I just put a gararge on my house do to this site. WOW who runs this site and how can they remain in business.
I also bought a puppy from Monqiue Matthews. She claims that it is a purebred Shiba Inu, however, I was never provided proof of registration. It looks like a mixed dog. In addition she gave me an unverified copy of her medical records. To add insult to injury, she told me that the dog had a hernia. I asked her to give me the medical records for it but I never received it. I knew I should have seen the red flags: 1) she met me in a parking lot and not her home, 2) she wore a wig and glasses to hide her identify, 3) she pressures you to pay while you're still deciding, 4) she never answers the phone, only likes to text, and 5) uses fake names like Katy, when Caller ID shows Monique Matthews. The next day, I called to return the dog, but she refuses to communicate with me now. After reading what she has done for the last 7 years in scamming people, I called the Norco PD to report her. They told me that she has a court date in June 2017 and hopefully, the judge will put her out of business and she goes to jail for fraud.
I encountered this lady in norco ca in 2016 and bought a sick puppy for 1400 dollars. Not sure what to do about it. Some assistance would help [protected] is my number my name is Nicole.
my family was searching for form name last year and located a web service with a huge forms library . If you are interested in ACA-02I-01 as well, here's a ACA Litter Registration
Descriptions of pups are lies regarding worming, vaccinations and pure breds!
Puppyfind dictates what you can say in a bad review to a breeder and that breeder can take that bad review down also, as noted a letter from Puppyfind:
Hello,
The documentation has been reviewed and your review for Ellen will be reactivated, but it will need to be rewritten to exclude any statements that are your opinion or not supported by documentation.
You will have to address each dog separately in your review because they were not purchased at the same time, and will only be able to post what was on the vet report.
For the first puppy you will have to include that at the initial vet visit the dog was presumed healthy, after 3 days the dog was treated for kennel cough, at 6 days was diagnosed with pneumonia, and after 3 months was diagnosed with demodex mange.
For the second puppy you can include that the puppy was treated for an upper respiratory infection and after 25 days was also diagnosed with demodex mange. You will also have to include that the contract does not cover bacterial infections.
Below is your original review. Please go over your statements, make the necessary changes, and submit your new review. If your review has not been resubmitted with in 60 days of this notice the case will be closed and your review will not be posted.
Review: After getting two puppies from Ellen Roberts, both puppies have had very bad cases of kennel cough. one puppy kennel cough went into pneumonia and the others has lasted 5 weeks with antibiotics from the vet. they both now have been diagnosed with demodex mange. Ellen Roberts puppy contract is a joke! These puppies are only 5 months old and they have all these problems. If you are a buy beware.
Please let me know once your review is posted so I can reactivate it.
If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact me.

Puppyfind.com should remove their service. They're nothing more than a service for Puppy Mill dealers who are too stupid & lazy to earn a respectful living requiring a soul & a skill, and who would rather mass-breed or travel to the Mill states, pick up cheap litters, and sell them for profit. Either way, you'll find that 99% of the advertisers on this website are trash. We have several in S.E. Michigan who are being heavily investigated (yes, you too Linda, Terry, Stan, Deborah, Carla, etc...). No self respecting breeder who's goal is to produce a quality, healthy, breed-specific puppy would advertise on puppyfind.com, or meet you in a parking lot, or an empty house, or refuse to show you the parents, or require cash only with no paper-trail.
If you want a healthy puppy, contact the AKC for a qualified breeder with at least one parent on site. Write a check and require identification of the person you are dealing with.
Better yet, save a life and adopt a shelter pet. You will find every breed and age under the sun at your local shelters.
I was researching breeders of Cocker Spaniels. I came across Puppy Find and saw two puppies from a breeder in Indiana. I contacted the breeder and had a long conversation with her. I was asked for references since she said she was a reputable breeder. Two days later I received a call from the breeder saying I had been qualified to purchase one of her pups. Arrangements were made to meet at her location in Kokomo Indiana. I started to become suspicious when the breeder told me that I could only come at a certain hour due to her and her husband having to "set things up". I called several other breeders in the interim to see about their litters and I mentioned this. I was told that they were probable a puppy mill and needed to hide dogs before I arrived. I called the breeder back and voiced my concern about her operation. She became very quiet. And then proceeded to tell me to go to Puppy Find and look at all her good reviews. After reading that puppy find deletes negative comments it would not surprise me if all of hers were only positive. Currently this breeder has 7 puppies on Puppy Find from several litters with an asking price total of $6, 200.00. Name of breeder is Crescent Moon Cockers from Kokomo Indiana. Stay away from this breeder. The breed 7 plus female dogs and are a puppy mill breeder for profit.
Patty Purbey does not exist. I did multiple people searches on her and there are no records of her existence or records of birth. Lapeer could be corrupt. Is it a who knows who type of city? Puppy mills are the worst of the worst. It was all over the papers what was happening and still nothing has been done. It is interesting that the dog breeder is responding to complaints under a false name of patty purbey. If you are doing illegal activities you will pay the price and go to jail. Lapeer should not tolerate this type of behavior and the community leaders should shut down the operation. Where in Lapeer Co. is this happening? It is time to act!
More corruption inside Lapeer... :(
Earlier this year we discovered that Carla Frantz, the woman investigating our kennel complaints in Lapeer County, was also breeding! And she wasn’t just breeding a few dogs. According to the former director, she acquired the breeding dogs from the kennel we were investigating as the largest puppy miller in Lapeer County – Linda Kaiser. Just unbelievable. It was confirmed with the meeting minutes at a township meeting where she stated she was indeed breeding and selling. We met with her supervisor last week and asked Carla to resign.
You only assume you even know what that means. That means absolutely nothing. Her hired help was responsible for that...got two identical pups mixed up from letting them play together...I know because I was the hired help along with another friend! My bad. It wasn't anything she did. She was in the hospital. You are even nasty to me and you don't even know me! Wow! Like I said before she has way more love in her heart than you ever will. Oh and she did offer to take your puppy back and you said you had to think about it. You gonna deny that too? Figures. You gonna right another nasty paragraph now? bahahahahah
sells sick pups & doesn't provide proper papers
I purchased a puppy from puppy find .com and a so called breeder named Lynn Overy & John Steib who runs Northern lights goldens they claim the buss. is out of Adelphia NJ. but they are actually out of Mexico NY. the puppy was sold to me as a AKC registered pup with a 2 year guarantee, and a health certificate. the pup was delivered to me sick with Giardia and a UTI. and I have also not received any of the proper papers that were to come with the pup. including the AKC papers. it has been over 6 weeks and the pup is still being treated for her symptoms. I posted a negitive review for her on puppyfind.com and they deleted it. 2 days later someone else posted another neg. review for her saying just about the same things that happened to me. and how they got ripped off and a day later that review was deleted? this is leading me to believe that puppyfind.com is standing behind all the dirt bag puppy mills and the breeders that run them and scam you out of all your money. and by not allowing us to post negitive reviews against the bad sellers /breeders this is allowing them to sell very sick and unhealthy puppies on their web site to unsuspecting buyers who can't see any of the bad reviews. before buying a puppy from puppyfind.com I really suggest that you do your homework first and get all the refferences first about who you want to buy from. and most of all DO NOT purchase a puppy from Northenlightsgoldens.com if you punch that name up on this site in the search box you will get a page that if you click on the highlighted northernlightsgoldens you will have 2 whole pages to scroll down of nothing but sickening things they have done to a lot of their previous buyers. they need to be stopped and put out of bussiness. I learned the hard way and the next time it will be from a local breeder! Thanks KPG
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I am shocked - Puppy finder, after reviewing all my information has put back my review of Danielle Wilson - Danielles Puppys - My documentation was in order, including vet records and emails where she then broke off contact. I am very glad that they saw that Danielle does not stand by her word, or her honor.
Hopefully, this will help the next person think twice before dealing with her.
Greetings,
My name is Matt and I'm the Relationship Manager with Puppyfind.com. After viewing this complaint, I did some research into the situation involving the complainant (Keith), and the breeder they had dealt with on Puppyfind.com. I would like Keith, and all viewers of this complaint to know that the breeder in question was removed from Puppyfind.com earlier this year. After receiving similar complaints, and evidence to back those complaints, the decision was made to ban that member from our website. Puppyfind.com does not condone the type of activities in which the member was involved, and when we receive sufficient evidence that a member of our site is breaking the law we will take action against them and remove them from our website.
I would also like to remind readers that Puppyfind.com does not sell any of the puppies that breeders advertise on our website. We do not endorse any one particular breeder, and we do not participate in any agreements or contacts made between buyers and sellers. We do not participate in the transaction or transportation of any puppies advertised on our site. We provide a space for members to meet each other, and we enforce the Terms of Service that apply to our website. In terms of the review system, Keith was given the opportunity to provide evidence backing the review he had left on the breeder's account. Our records indicate that no documentation was ever received by our Customer Support staff. This is why the review was kept off the member's account, according to the rules of our review system. After Keith had contacted us, other members came forward with complaints about this member and they provided documentation, which led to the breeder's removal from the website. We appreciate everyone who contacts us to let us know about bad breeders, but we cannot act on those complaints without definite evidence and documentation.
I again am very sorry to know that this breeder has caused heartache to people they have dealt with, on and off our site, but I am happy to report that their account is no longer active on Puppyfind.com.
Thank you for your time,
Matt

account illegally terminated-class action lawsuit
My account was illegaly terminated for no legitimate reason. If you have had this same problem please contact us ASAP as I know many others who have also had this same issue. I have been a loyal monthly customer for over 6 years and have not violated their terms of service in any way. They are not allowed to place their personal opinions into business and terminate accounts based on their personal discriminations! This is an ifringement to our civil rights as consumers. If interested in forming a class action lawsuit against Puppyfind.com LLC please contact us immediately.

Yes I agree with Matt. As there was scams on there saying they from Africa as a pastor they got blocked also.
Greetings,
My name is Matt and I am the Relationship Manager with Puppyfind.com. This complaint was recently brought to my attention and I would like to leave a comment concerning the statements made by the complainant.
The complainant states in the beginning of their complaint that their account was “illegaly (sic) terminated for no legitimate reason.”
May it be known to all readers that point 13 of the Puppyfind.com Terms of Service states:
“13. TERMINATION
You agree that PuppyFind.com, in its sole discretion, may terminate your password, account (or any part thereof) or use of the Service, and remove and discard any Content within the Service, for any reason, including, without limitation, for lack of use or if PuppyFind.com believes that you have violated or acted inconsistently with the letter or spirit of the TOS. PuppyFind.com may also in its sole discretion and at any time discontinue providing the Service, or any part thereof, with or without notice. You agree that any termination of your access to the Service under any provision of this TOS may be effected without prior notice, and acknowledge and agree that PuppyFind.com may immediately deactivate or delete your account and all related information and files in your account and/or bar any further access to such files or the Service. Further, you agree that PuppyFind.com shall not be liable to you or any third-party for any termination of your access to the Service. “
This member was not removed from Puppyfind.com due to personal opinions or discrimination. Their account was not valid to advertise on our website, as we only allow dog breeders to advertise. Members that are found to be pet store owners, brokers, or importers are not allowed to advertise on Puppyfind.com. We discovered that the complainant fell into the category as a non-breeder. When the complainant was informed of this rule, they fought against it and when it was found that they were not going to have any of their own dogs to advertise, they were removed from Puppyfind.com.
While people may or may not disagree with the actions taken by our website, it must be understood that the complainant was not removed without a reason. Any member that is removed from Puppyfind.com is always removed due to a violation of our TOS. They may be a scam, a puppy mill, or they may be posting advertisements that do not align with what can be advertised on our website.
It must be understood that when someone signs up to use the services provided by our website, they agree to accept our TOS and are therefore held accountable to our Terms. While some rules may occasionally be forgotten by our members, if they are not able to reorganize their account after reminders from Puppyfind.com, then it cannot come as a surprise that their account would be removed.
It is not the intent of Puppyfind.com to appear as cold and heartless, as we do hope that everyone that comes to our site can make good use of our services. However, if members cannot abide by the company TOS, then inevitable consequences will occur.
Thank you very much for your time,
Matt

debbie mason
Please read before adopting a puppy through puppyfind.com/debbie mason!
I have recently adopted a puppy through debbie mason on puppyfind.com and within the first 48 hours of having him I have come to discover that he is in very poor health and will need intensive care to be nursed back to health. The vet I took him to told me that he had parvo disease which is a very serious viral infection that attacks the dogs white blood cells, intestinal tract and the heart muscles. It is highly contageous and can be fatal to young puppies esp. Dachshunds!
Debbie was very quick at responding and answering any and all questions before the transaction was finished, answering emails and phone calls and sending several each day before we wired her the payment. Once she received the payment she became completely negligent about taking responsibility for the sick puppy (Which she is responsible for within the first 48 hours according to her puppy health agreement) she has provided no legal documentation for the puppy's health exam other then a piece of paper stating that he has had shots up to 8 weeks which is how old he is, however there was no stamp of approval or agreement from a vetinary nor a phone number to call to be sure that it even exists.
Debbie has been responding very rarely via email, and has not taken or returned any of my phone calls since being notified about the puppy's illness. She has continually given excuses as to why she hasnt responded to my calls.
I advise any pet lover to use caution before adopting, especially due to a case like this! Anyone who adopts from her at this point may be at risk of adopting a very sick puppy!
Thank you.

I have no idea what these people are talking about my experience has been the complete opposite! Debbie Mason is a kind thoughtful woman who takes great pride and care of her puppies. I bought my little puppy, Gyda, from her not to long ago and I am completely satisfied with my perches. Gyda is happy energetic and loves being around people. When we found her at Debbie's house Gyda was just as happy and playful, it's what attracted me to her in the fist place. The other puppies there were just as well fed and lively as my Gyda! Don't listen to the naysayers Debbie Mason is completely above board and does very fine work, I would proudly recommend her to anyone wanting an Akita, you will not find a better breeder or better puppies!
I agree with the complainant 100% about what she wrote regarding "dog breeder" Debbie Mason. She is not a dog breeder, she is running a puppy mill, which seems to be legal in the state of Missouri. I purchased a puppy from Debbie back in March, and when the puppy came to me, he was in very poor health as well. I have 3 certificates from our vet stating that he was unfit for sale. We spent thousands of dollars keeping him alive and he even had to be hospitalized for 4 days, staying in an oxygen chamber 24/7. I would never recommend ANYONE to Debbie Mason, as she is not worried about the health and well being of her animals, but more about the cash in her wallet.
Greetings,
My name is Matt and I'm the Relationship Manager with Puppyfind.com. I attempted to contact the complainant about this situation almost two months ago and have received no reply from 'Baddog'. Although it has been a while since everything took place, it is my hope that the complainant can contact us about this situation. It is unfortunate to discover that they had a bad experience with someone that they met through our services, but it is our hope that those viewing this complaint can understand that Puppyfind.com does not endorse the activities of the breeder that have been alleged by the complainant. Although our website does not assist in any meetings, agreements, transactions, or shipments made between the buyer and the breeder, we do desire our website to be a place where people can safely come to view puppies made available by the breeders who utilize our services. We supply Buyer Tips to everyone interested in getting a puppy so they can have an idea of what to ask of the breeder, and to get ideas on how to protect themselves when making online purchases. We offer a review section for buyers to leave comments about their experiences with the breeders on the site, and our Fraud Department is working day and night to find and remove scammers that may appear on the website. Additionally, when we hear about situations such as the complainants, we want to assist to the best of our abilities. If a buyer or a breeder has been wronged, and Puppyfind.com is able to help in some way, we will do what we can to help.
Thank you,
Matt

I bought a puppy from a "breeder" on puppyfind. I got scammed by that breeder. After trying to get the breeder to respond to any of my phone calls & emails unsuccessfully, I got a little peace knowing that I could leave a review of that breeder. I did read their reviews before buying the puppy and saw that they had nothing but good reviews. I couldn't understand why I felt like the only one cheated by these money hungry people. So, I left a very HONEST review so that others won't fall for all of the breeders lies. 10 min's later, my review was GONE! (you are only allowed 1). I emailed puppyfind, trying to understand & they said that the breeder can erase any bad reviews they want. WHAT IS THE POINT OF HAVING REVIEWS IF THE HONEST ONES CAN BE ERASED? There is tons of other people that have been scammed on this puppyfind. It's nickname is PUPPYMILL. Please do some research and see all the people hurt by this puppyfind. I feel so scammed by both the breeder and now puppyfind. They need to be removed ASAP!

The original complaint must have been a bogus one. That is like HSUS holding up dying and sickly dogs, asking for money. They get outrageous amounts of money, but less than a penney from every dollar goes to those sickly dogs in their advertisement. This must be a humane society person wanting to stir the pot. Humane society wants you to buy only from them. It will cost more in most cases and they would be glad to be the only pet store in the world. They like you to support their retirement funds.
Greetings,
My name is Matt and I'm the Relationship Manager with Puppyfind.com. I would first like to say that I have attempted to assist the complainant in regards to their complaint, but they have not replied back to me. It has been over a month since I contacted them, and since I have not received a reply, I would like to leave my own reply to this complaint in the public forum.
It is very unfortunate that the complainant had a bad experience with a breeder who was using our services, and it is unfortunate that the breeder chose to remove the review the complainant left for them on their Puppyfind.com account. While it is completely understandable why the complainant is upset about this situation, there is more to be understood about our review system than what was stated by the complainant.
While it is true that breeders have the ability to remove reviews from public view, that is not the end of the story. Breeders are given the opportunity to remove a review in case it is something that should not appear on their account. If someone writes a review that states, “How can I buy one of your puppies?” and the reviewer leaves one star on the review, it is obviously a review that does not belong on the breeder's account. Unfortunately, not all breeders use this function for the proper reasons. Some breeders will remove legitimate reviews that will put them in a bad light. Even if the review is 100% true, but makes the breeder look bad, some will try to retain their image by removing the review from public view.
This is where Puppyfind.com will step in and begin the process to examine the situation and assist in an appropriate manner. When a review is removed by a breeder, our Customer Support Department is alerted by the system, and a Quality Manager will contact the breeder and the buyer directly about the removed review. The breeder will have to state why they feel the review should be removed from the website, and the buyer will have to explain and support with proof, why they feel the review should stay on the website for all to see. Once both sides have explained their reasons, and provided evidence to Puppyfind.com, a decision will be made based on the truth of the facts that were submitted to Puppyfind.com. If it appears that the buyer was true in what they were saying about their experience with the breeder, and the breeder was merely trying to hide an honest review, then the review will be reactivated and re-posted to the breeder's account. If the buyer cannot provide any evidence to back up their review, and it appears that they were lying about their bad experience, then the review will stay off of the breeder's account.
Every buyer has a chance to get their removed review restored back to the website if they had a legitimately bad experience. Negative reviews are upheld and kept on the website all the time by buyers that follow through and supply evidence to back their review. While it may take a little extra time to go through this process, it helps keep the review section of Puppyfind.com a useful tool to those interested in buying a puppy from a breeder that advertises on our site. Conversely, if a false positive review is left on an account and it has been found to be false, it will also be removed from a breeder's account.
I acknowledge that the system is not perfect, but Puppyfind.com is working to make a more streamlined and useful review system. It will take time to get the system to a level that will satisfy our members, but we are working on it.
Puppyfind.com also encourages buyers to really do their research when looking into purchasing a puppy from a breeder that utilizes our services. We have provided Buyer Tips on our website for all members to utilize. Within these tips are suggestions such as making as much contact as possible with a breeder, or asking for specific items to be displayed in the photo of the puppy, if you cannot visit the breeder in person. Having a detailed contract is also important, and escrow services are suggested as ways of assisting in the transaction between buyer and breeder. While we may not be able to screen every single breeder that comes to our site, we do want buyers to be aware that there are good and bad ways to going about purchasing a puppy, and to do their best to be smart when thinking about dealing with someone online.
Concerning the issue of 'scamming', Puppyfind.com is not in the business of scamming our members. It pains us to know that scam artists have infiltrated the ranks of legitimate breeders that have used our service for years. From domestic to international scammers, we work daily to rid our site of these criminals and hope that all who come to Puppyfind.com will have a good and safe experience while on our site.
Thank you for your time,
Matt

I don't send checks in the mail. She never discussed PayPal nor would I give her my CC number. I send US Postal MOs to breeders and request them just the same. It was the next day the dog was sold and no she didn't have either parent. I did get her eventually through the lady that bought her, which turned out to be a friend. She was going out of breeding shelties and I took her up on buying her last female which turned out to be the dog I was trying to buy. I didn't know until I saw her registration and I paid a lot less. I've talked to a few breeders and they said Lori does this sometime. She may keep your deposit after the pup was sold to someone else.
I am also a Sheltie breeder. However, if I had a $1.00 for every time someone said they were going to send me a check, I would not need to breed dogs, just sit back and wait for those hundreds of dollars to come flying in. With the technology available today, Paypal, credit cards, etc. You could have sent her an electronic deposit and quite simply, you would have had your puppy. I do not hold a puppy or dog on word alone. I will take a credit card number over the phone, and hold it until the check arrives. I will not process the credit card if the interested buyer makes plans to pay in cash upon pickup. Being a breeder yourself, and from the content of your story, perhaps Ms. Gore felt you were not sincere enough to hold the puppy for you. I know that if I want something, I will make good on a promise to buy any way I can. Most breeders are more than happy to hold a puppy for a buyer with a deposit in some form or another. But, waiting for that check in the mail is not something I want to do. Then, what happens if it does not clear. The breeder is charged by his/her bank for NSF fees. I believe this breeder did what any self respecting breeder would have done without a firm committment to a sale. She simply sold the puppy. Why do you think that is so bad. Also, if she owned both sire and dam, I am sure there were plans to breed back for another litter. You simply would have to wait a little longer for the puppy of your dreams.
GSDfan is out of line with her comment. Restricted papers are for not breeding only. But you can show the dog in obedience and agility & junior handling classes sponsored by AKC sanction clubs. I think the breeder lied about the existence of papers. The breeder has changed her story many times and had also misrepresented the dog itself in the first place. The breeder lied that she had the papers then Angela went up there from VA to get the dog thinking she would get what was stated in the ad. Angela is not to be chastised for getting a dog for $100 and not get what the breeder stated in the ad. By not having the papers restricted or not, her kids can't participate in other classes that will allow restrictive papers. You can't show in confirmation with restrictive papers. I paid $1500 for a sheltie male to a lady in IL thinking I was going to show him and use him for stud service and breeding. He had the best of the foundation shelties in his background. When my husband went to pick him up and brought him back, he was not a true biblack but a reddish colored biblack which is a major fault in the breed description. So I couldn't show him to get his championship like his brother or his father who is also a ROMC not to mention all of his forefathers. I basically wound up paying for his pedigree. She had colored hair when I saw him the first time and thought that was what I was getting. When I confronted her about his color, she stated that a lot of the sheltie breeders color their black dogs to get a deeper black coloring. Hello! Are you kidding me? Breeders don't color their dog unless they are hiding something which of course is illegal. And the lady up in OH committed fraud just like the lady that sold me as you stated "A FANCY SHOW DOG WITH A FANCY PEDIGREE) . You can shove your opinion up your "fancy" butt. GSDfan you are dragging Angela in the mud instead of the woman that committed fraud. How dare you. Think before you write. Robin Davis
I really don't really have any experience with this. I am just posting to see if a complaint can be removed.
If a dog has "Ristricted papers" you should not get them . That means the dog is not for breeding, you only paid $100 for a pet quality dog, Other people that want a fancy show dog with a fancy peddigree will pay $1000 - $2000 . I think you should just let it go and be happy with your pet. You are on a complaint board and pretty much dragging this lady's name in the mud for nothing, you are not in the right to want papers for a dog you paid $100 for .
SCAMMER
BUYER BEWARE, there are several of them that work together, And they breed in different breeds of dogs, Argintinos, Bull terriers & English Bulldogs.. They will scam you out of your money and you will NOT receive your dog/puppy.. DO NOT SEND YOUR MONEY TO THESE PEOPLE! And several people have been taken for already..

My name is Giancarlos Piselli, im from Venezuela and my id numer is [protected], my email es giankip@hotmail.com and also i will give you my phone numbre [protected]. This time i need to say that I GOT MY DOG. It is a beautiful dogo argentino and it is the 3er dogs that i have recived from Carlos. I have pictures of my dogs, even pictures pinking my dog up at the airport and also pictures of 6 more dogs that Carlos delivered the day his arrived. So i can prove and i can say that you can buy to him whatever kind of dogs without risk. If some one need something feel free to email me o even call me.
Am Juan lopez from california, the person carlos mentions and in act of courtesy, I removed my comment but only beacuse Carlos asked me to. In May, Carlos contacted me in a friendly way and offered me a puppy in which he would send on May 15, Turned out to be just like the previous promise, so he never sent the puppy saying that the breeder irresponsibly sold the puppy without his approvement. It seems like Carlos's stories and promises just keep on going without an end. Now Carlos is offering another puppy, but am not willing to play his little games anymore. I prefer to mention in this comment that people should take things slowly and make sure that they review the breeders references and make sure they are worthy of your money. I'd also like to mention that you guys be cautious when buying from people like carlos franco, that apparently isnt worrisome about putting the risk of an entire nation.

CARLOS MANUEL BARRIOS FRANCO caused me to place this comment. I found Carlos selling dogs in a website called PuppyFind and one of his dogs got my attention. I called Carlos and told him that I was looking for a good top quality Bull Terrier, Carlos mentioned that he had a 14 month old dog that was all grown up and ready to use for mating. We both made an agreement that i would send him $2, 9oo.He promised to ship the dog within a few days but right after I sent Carlos my money, he never sent anything and was constantly coming up with different inconviniances, for example at one time Carlos metioned that in Argentina no dog could fly out because of the h1-n1 flu, another excuse Carlos made up right at the time he was going to ship the dog, he said he used the dog to mate with a female and the dog caught a Venerial Virus, then Carlos proposed to replace that dog for another puppy, this puppywas sired by Dexter Diablo Fire Cracker from Peracho. I waited for this "puppy" another two months, then I e-mailed Carlos and asked him for my dog. Carlos said that my "puppy" turned out that he had a bad over bite. It has been a nightmare dealing with that man, I joined the bull terrier forum and the first thing I found out is that the same dog I purchased from Carlos and payed for in June 17, 2009, Carlos was still trying to sale the dog August 2009, Two months after I had purchased him and that's very dishonest. I'd like to mention that in numerius occasions Carlos sent me lot's of pictures of Peracho, Varbonet Fernando, and many other breeders I don't know if they work together with him, but at the moment Carlos said that he currently has nothing for sale with quality to send me and he has nothing to offer to resolve his problems but if you ask Carlos who owns all his listings that he has in NextDayPets.com he will tell you that he is selling for his friends and I said that Carlos has been spending money becasue he recently imported another dog from Europe joined by breeders from Columbia, this dog that Carlos is owner-in-part is named SILAR(OCUSA SAMURAY).
I leave my comment here and hope it helps someone that has plans to purchase a dog or puppy from Argentina Carlos Manuel Barrios Franco, does not have my recommendation.(June 17, 2009 to March 2010, still no dog...Is Carlos Franco a man of trust
deleting of negative reviews
I posted a negative review on puppyfind.com about a rottweiler breeder in Decatur, Illinois named Kelley Brooks. I puchased our puppy on 7/14/09 based on the fact that she offered a health guarantee. We went to her house and picked out our little girl. We took her to the vet 2 days later on 7/16/09. She has the following ailments...1. roundworm 2. coccidia 3. yeast infection in both ears and 4. bladder infection. The total vet bills to date for these ailments are now $200. We asked Kelley Brooks to honor her health guarantee and she has flat refused. Instead, she wants to exchange our sick puppy for another sick puppy. Of course, that is not an option to us and we would still have to spend money to get the new one well too. Well, I posted a bad review on puppyfind.com to forewarn others that might want to purchase a puppy from her as well. Come to find out that it was removed! They allow breeders to remove bad feedback! Can you believe that? What's the point? Be very careful when purchasing a puppy on puppyfind. You will never know if someone had a bad experience with a breeder on there.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
i am happy to report that puppyfind has put back my bad review of Danielle Wilson - Danielles' puppys out of Joplin, MO - I sent them the vet records and I sent them all the correspondence between us. they could not dispute that my bad review was valid and put it back on. I am hoping it prevents at least one person from purchasing a dog from her.
Worms, fleas, cocci, and things of this nature are usually not a part of any health guarantee, as it is usually clearly stated, LIFE THREATENING, GENETIC problems only, and then, it is still no cash refunds, replacement puppy only, with the breeder deciding when to replace the puppy.
I bought a dog from Deborah Nap for and the dog died a few weeks later, She has ads on Puppyfind, they took down my negative review of her. I told them to even google her name from Hickory Cornrs MichiganShe sells little dogs like yorkies thru bieweryorkies, com and I see she has scammed someone else too, How do I get Puppyfind to see that she has caused a lot of pain for our family and wont answer her phone or email back. She took our money and gave us a dog with problems
I also posted a negative review about Mary Meyer from Nashua, Iowa. I bought a Boston Terrier from her in May 2008. Her post said she would provide a travel crate, health guarantee, and AKC papers. I picked up the puppy and received none of the above. She said she would send me the AKC paperwork when they came in. Four months passed and after many phone calls and excuses, I still did not have any paperwork. I wrote a negative review and Mary asked for it to be removed. The support team from puppyfind.com asked for documentation and I complied and the review was posted again. Mary then deleted her account. Recently, I went back on puppyfind.com and found that Mary had recreated an account. I emailed Mary to see about the paperwork I STILL had not received. She emailed a few days later and said she would put them in the mail on Monday. A week passed and nothing came in the mail (This was in June 09 and still NOTHING!). I felt compelled to write another review and did so. It was posted and now it is gone. Unlike last time, there was no contact from puppyfind.com looking for documentation. The review just vanished but her account is still up and running with no reviews. I want to warn everyone of this woman and her unprofessional and lying ways. DO NOT BUY FROM HER. I kept documentations of my every interaction with this woman from day one - emails, phone calls, pictures. I contacted the support team at puppyfind.com to see why my review was deleted. I hope to hear in a few days but if not, I'm sure the Better Business Bureau and the like will be hearing from me about this matter.
I believe you can contact Puppyfind and let them know of the situation and provide proof that your negative review was accurate and true and after it's established and reviewed they will put it back up.
response to a complaint puppy sales
We have sold many puppies via PuppyFind and via other websites and occasional a puppy gets sick. We have always attempted to be just and reasonable with Lee Ann Dove. The first puppy that we sold her passed away months after we sold it to her for some unknown reason. We never received any documents from a vet on the deceased puppy. Since her first puppy apparently died we sent her a second puppy at a financial loss to us.
We are sorry to hear that her puppy is ill. We know that a puppy is a living animal, and animals some times get sick. From her correspondence the second puppy was sick of Kennel Cough. This is a condition very common with puppies. This puppy was vaccinated against Kennel Cough. Kennel Cough is not covered by our warranty. We believe that the vet is not exaggerating the facts to make money on this situation. Lee Ann Dove never sent us any medical reports or medical invoices. We believe that she should review the manner in which she has been caring for the puppy and which vet she is utilized.
Lee Ann Dove filed a dispute with PayPal and PuppyFind. PayPal and PuppyFind ruled in our favor and closed the case. We stand by our warranty and by the health certificate signed by our vet. Our vet examined and signed a health certificate which is a State of Florida form certifying that the puppy was in good health. Our vet signed the certificate which states:
"ISSUING VETERINARIAN'S CERTIFICATION: I hereby certify that the described animal was examined by me on the date show; that the vaccines, anthelmintics, and diagnostic tests indicated herein, were administered by me, or under my direction; said animal exhibits no sign of contagious or infectious diseases, and shows no evidence of internal or external parasites, excluding fleas and ticks; and to the best of my knowledge the animal has not been exposed to rabies, nor did the animal originate from an area under a quarantine for rabies."
Under the PuppyFind Advertisement under additional information we very clearly indicated:
“(See WARRANTY information on our website)”
In the same section it indicated:
“Visit our website at www.beverlyhillspuppies.com.”
Our warranty does not cover:
“Buyer understands that this guarantee does not cover fleas, ticks, ear mites, coccidia, or kennel cough”
In our warranty the Buyer agrees that no other guarantees or warranties including those of merchantability have been expressed or implied by the seller. Furthermore by purchasing a puppy the Buyer agrees to hold the Seller harmless for all items and condition not stipulated in the agreement:
“By purchasing a puppy from Beverly Hills Puppies, Inc. both BUYER and SELLER understand and agree to all terms and conditions contained herein and hereby accept this agreement. Failure to comply with all the above terms and conditions will result in the SELLER having no recourse on the limited warranty stated in this agreement. The Buyer agrees that no other guarantees or warranties including those of merchantability have been either made expressly or implied by the SELLER. There are no guarantees or warranties which extend beyond the description of this written warranty. By purchasing a puppy from Beverly Hills Puppies, Inc. Buyer agrees to hold Seller harmless for all items and conditions not stipulated in this agreement.”
In summation, Lee Ann Dove has filed complaint with PayPal and PuppyFind requesting a reimbursement of medical expense. In her complaints PayPal and PuppyFind investigated to situation did not find fault on our part.
We now have two (2) warranties that cover all of our puppies:
1) The PAWS WARRANTY GUARANTEES maximum benefits illness payout of $1000.00 within the first 90 days. This PAWS WARRANTY covers most medical expenses.
2) The BEVERLY HILLS PUPPIES, INC. guarantees life threatening congenital defects.

Way to defend yourself, Mr. [censored] Bag.
Breeding dogs for profit when millions upon millions of unwanted dogs are euthanized every year is disgustingly irresponsible and cruel. Does your contract verbiage include a Karma clause or maybe an Invincibly Ignorant clause, too? I didn't think so but it doesn't change the fact those concepts apply whether you want them to or not.
will take your money
I recently placed an ad on puppyfind.com to sell my American Pit Bull Terriers. They kept my posting up there long enough to collect my 19.99 for upgrading to a full membership then suspended and closed my account for supposed fraud. I am still trying to figure where the whole fraud piece came into play was it before or after they took my money, I say after do not use them to advertise they will rob you and give you some crappy excuse on why your account is no longer valid
They have their contact information hidden, but it is listed on the website puppyfindfraud.com
I have been trying to get them to stop charging my account. There is no way to do that online, and I have no need for the account any more. I sent them an email requesting the cancelation, but I have sent them many emails, and they never respond. They have horrible service, but I don't believe they are the worst place to advertise your pup at. I am a breeder, and I have gotten many responses from here. Even a place such as KIJIJI, or Craigs List, has better service and membership options.
If you have problems with billing I would recommend you cancel all your credit card payments from puppy find, by asking you credit card company to do so. I want to keep advertising there, because it does bring in business, but now that I can not cancel my account, the 20 dollars has turned into over 90 dollars in payments.
puppy scamming
What's up with Puppy Find? I'm aware of the puppy mill problem but am mostly curious why they continuously run ads for 300.00 puppies for sale and THERE ARE NO PUPPIES! It's only a scam! I have contacted them several times and they either don't reply or send a lame e-mail that they're doing all they can... which is not the case. Please help me figure this out.Does the scammer run Puppy Find? Do they get a cut of the scam money? If not, why don't they take him off? They do a great job deleting negative comments from people who have purchased mangy, sickly pups!

:) - I am happy to say that after Puppyfind.com reviewed all my information about Danielle Wilson - Danielles puppy - they have put back my bad review. I have all documentation to prove my case. Hopefully this will help the next consumer to think twice before they deal with her. She has no honor, morals or ethics - and WILL NOT keep her word. she also has a website under ruff life puppys
It looks like she is great but is not! do not use puppyfind as they do not allow honest reveiws!
I WOULD NEVER BUY A PUPPY WITHOUT A HEALTH CERTIFICATE. WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT? YOU CANT BLAME SOMEONE FOR YOUR NEGLIGENCE. I BOUGHT A PUPPY ON PUPPYFIND FROM PA. IT HAD A HEALTH CERTIFICATE WITH HIM WHEN HE FLEW ON THE AIRLINES. THIS WOMAN BRED A FEW DIFFERENT BREEDS, AND THE PEE WEE IS MY PRIDE AND JOY. HE HAS CHAMPION LINES ON TOP AND BOTTOM. A BEUTIFUL DOG. NOT A REJECT FROM THE POUND. IF SOMEONE ELSE DUMPED A DOG, WHY WOULD I WANT IT? I GUESS THAT I AM NOT THAT CHEAP. THE HUMANE SHELTERS KILL COUNTLESS DOGS ALL THE TIME. IF THEY WERE SO GREAT WHY DO THEY SLAUGHTER THEM?
Puppyfind.com is simply a digital pet store. They fully support the sale of puppy mills dogs by turning a blind eye. They immediately delete any negative reviews and then strong-arm you to provide copious amounts of documentation to defend yourself. I was under the impression that a review was designed to provide information, both good and bad. Not on puppyfind.com! After losing my beloved pet from the unscrupulous behavior of brokers (www.waggsnwiggles.com), my review was deleted from puppyfind.com and I was sent a rude email demanding proof of telephone calls, emails, veterinary records, etc. Can you imagine? These are hardly people that care about the welfare of animals. They simply want to protect their money-generating money base, the sellers. Shame on them!
I was awarded $36.00 for the lack of worming that the defendant's false advertised for the sale of my puppy, but not for the lack of veterinarian exam that was advertised. Per the Oregon Veterinarian Medical Association a rountine exam consists of written documentation that should have included a rountine heart check. Judge Victory Walker based her ruling on lack of any written documentation to support that the defendants had my puppy to a veterinarian for a routine vet exam. The defendants even stated in an email, after I purchased the puppy, that the vet visit was not specific to any one puppy. That is not considered a Vet Exam then. And what Vet doesn't keep a record of exams? Judge Walker stated that the defendant's ad didn't "specify" what type of Vet Exams I was entitled to? I have filed a Complaint with the Oregon Commission on Judicial Fitness and Disability against Judge Victory Walker because I feel my rights under Oregon law 646.608 1. (i) and (u) and my rights under the Consumer Protection Act for unfair trade practices has been violated. Judge Walker also refused my expert witness letters from 3 Licensed Veterinarians that stated that my puppy's heart defects would have been easily detected at birth, and Judge Walker also rejected all my letters from the American Kennel Club that showed the defendant's lies. I also had a witness take the stand to prove that the defendants lied to me in an email regarding the Sire of my puppy, etc. etc. etc. I'm hoping for a re-trial and this matter be handled by the Supreme Court. Please write to Oregon State Representative Paul Holvey in my support (Linda Barrow needs a re-trial). It's time to put an end to this happening to any other innocent consumers like me. I traveled 500 miles round trip for this hearing in Grants Pass Oregon (Josephine County Court) and Judge Walker's ruling of $36.00 was an insult to the Oregon Judicial System, in my opinion.
rep.paulholvey@state.or.us
Oregon State Representative Paul Holvey is working on House Bill 2470 which will provide protection to consumers that are in my situation. It's like a puppy lemon law. Also, In my opinion, anyone that would NOT support this bill is probably involved in bad breeding, because who wouldn't support the protection of animals for their health and conditions ? It's time for Oregonians and Americans to start caring why so many sick animals are being sold to innocent consumers and then they are having to pay thousands of dollars in vet expenses. Also, share my story with your State Representative and have them adopt a bill for your State. Thank you Oregon State Respresentative Paul Holvey.
Don't deal with puppy mills. There are numerous rescues in Oregon where you can find a purebred. Stop supporting ruthless breeders.
Never purchase a puppy from people that will ship, etc. Go to the breeder, see the puppies parents. See the conditions in which the puppies were raised. So far it looks promising for legislation to be passed in Oregon to make puppy mills illegal. If you haven't done so already contact your representative in Salem.
Additional information on checking out breeder's...
GOOGLE THEIR EMAIL ADDRESSES TOO. THAT WILL GIVE YOU A LOT OF INFORMATION AND HOW MANY PUPPIES/BREEDS THEY ARE SELLING. I WOULD STAY AWAY FROM BROKERS AND MASS SELLERS.
I'm now the plaintiff in a small claims suit for false advertising against these breeders for their sale of an extremely sick puppy to me. This case will be heard in the near future in Grants Pass, Oregon at Josephine County Small Claims Court. I will post the court date as soon as I get it. These breeders of Cave Junction have now moved to Grants Pass, per an investigator that I hired to process serve them.
My case involves false advertising and deception in their ads and emails that deceive me into signing their puppy selling contract(s), but under the Consumer Protection Act, the Unfair Trade Practices Act, The Animal Welfare Act and Oregon Statue 646.608, I should be legally and lawfully protected for their false advertising. False advertising is a crime!
Josephine County officials have not helped me, and they have been contridictory in their emails vs. their reports, and the Animal Control Officer that took my report was the Smith's neighbor in Cave Junction. This is a huge conflict of interest in my opinion. If justice isn't served then the Federal Government should look into my case. This case is a case of Consumer Fraud and I am the victim. I've alerted the proper law enforcement agencies and you should do the same if you are in my situation.
They have used names like Heavenly Acre Farm, Saved by Grace and advertise many different breeds. Again, my puppy had two heart defects, tapeworms, fleas, no AKC papers until we had an attorney write them a letter to register the litter (1 month later), extra large ears, and 7 extra teeth removed because he had too many teeth, and the breeder mentioned two different sires for my puppy after I purchased my puppy and stated, "It doesn't matter who the sire is". They only registered 3 of the 4 Miniature Schnauzer's puppies in my puppy's litter. I have copies where they have advertised as selling "Top Quality/Show Potential Miniature Schnauzer's", West Highlands, Champion papillions, chihuahuas, SNORKIES (Schnauzer and Yorkie mix), Yorkies, Labs, etc. etc. etc... and they advertise for other people. Buyers beware, because I was deceived.
As per the Humane Society of the US... Buying puppies over the Internet or from Pet Stores is not the best idea.
You may be supporting a Puppy Mill. Not ALL breeders who advertise over the internet are bad breeders but the majority are. Most puppies that are being sold in Pet Stores are coming from puppy mills too. The humane society's best advice is to get your pets from Rescues or the Humane Society. Puppy Mills are multi-million dollar businesses and there are over 10, 000 puppy mills in the US where many of the animals are living in inhumane conditions. These bad breeders are the one's ruining legitimate breeder's businesses and also causing so many health problems in our animals. Veterinarians are soon going to be the richest people of the US. Most veterinarians are very honest animal care givers, so I would hope that veterinarians would take a big stand against puppy mills. The cost of veterinarian care of a sick puppy can cost you thousands and thousands of dollars. It's time that the American people and veterinarians help put a stop to what is happening.
Oregon Representative Paul Holvey is suppose to be presenting a puppy mill bill for Oregon in January 2009, and I'm hoping to testify at the next legislative session because of my puppy and the Consumer Fraud I endured.
In my opinion, if a dog breeder sells multiple breeds they are only breeding for the money and not the betterment of the breed. Google the breeder's phone # and you can see how many dogs they are actually selling over the internet. If they are selling multiple breeds I would stay away. Also, many are not advertising their phone #'s but requesting that you contact them first. If you feel they are hiding their information I would be leary of that too.
A good breeder will have perfect accountable records of everything including vet exams, and they should give you copies of the vet exams prior to your purchase. They will have the AKC paperwork already completed. They will always have wormed their puppies. They will be flealess because the Sires and Dams would have been treated. Once you pick up your dog and care for him you cannot emotionally return the dog. Every decent judge or decent person knows this. The puppy becomes a member of your family. Ask for the vet records first, and YOU also make a contract FOR THE SELLER TO SIGN that states if anything major happens in the next 2 months that they are responsible for the continued veterinarian care as long as there are two of the same vet's opinions. Make sure you have all the vet exam paperwork days before you pick up your puppy. A good breeder would feel confident that they are selling a healthypuppy. Also, do not pick up your puppy under 8 weeks old. They are not weaned until at least 8 weeks old.
The AKC does not certify any breeder. The AKC will inspect kennels if there are complaints, but they do not back breeders or certify the breeder's kennels. Don't let this advertising fool you. Also, just because the AKC can inspect a kennel doesn't mean that more puppies are not being hidden in cages somewhere else.
I've learned a lot of what to do and what not to do when purchasing a puppy. Hope this helps so you do not fall victim like I did.
If any bad breeders are reading this... I did not deserve to be put through what has been done financially and emotionally to our family, nor did my puppy. I am a huge animal lover and innocent victim that fell victim to false advertising DECEIT.
I posted a complaint on puppyfind.com of a breeder out of Cave Junction and Grant's Pass Oregon. I was sold a very sick dog. She posted vet exams and worming and after I had the dog said "No specific exams were done and she failed to do the worming". My puppy has had heart surgery and had fleas and tape worms. She was allowed to remove her ads with my review of her and then repost a couple of days later. I tried to put my review on her website and it stated "You've already posted a review for this breeder". I contacted puppyfind.com and they never answered me.
their big money comes from puppymills!
I bought a puppy from PuppyFind from a supposed breeder who turned out to not be a breeder but a puppymill. First they said to use PayPal to be covered, Paypal said to go back to the merchant. PuppyFind said to write a review about the seller yet all of the truthful negative reports about the sick and dead puppies are pulled off immediately! They are in with all these puppymills because that is where they make all of their money! DO NOT use this site and definitely never use www.Beverlyhillspuppies.com supposedly in Fl but the puppies come from puppymills in GA!

I purchased a puppy in 2016 and Nikki was great to deal with to get the sale, but silence after. I purchased a Frenglish puppy, which I see she is no longer breeding and it appears she switches breeds quite frequently and changed her website. My puppy has some health issues and I have been attempting to contact her but to no avail. A health guarantee is just a fake sense of security being provided if in the end, you are ignored. I would be very cautious about dealing with this breeder
Nikki Allen 's puppies are so cute ! We purchased a puppy from her named Bella and she is the love of our lives! She was happy, healthy and well socialized when we got her. I will be adopting from her again soon! She was awesome to deal with and you can tell that she really cares about her dogs!
I get REALLY upset over you people calling EVERYONE that raises puppies PUPPYMILL. YES there are a LOT of puppymills and believe me I would love for them all to be shut down. However there are people like me that truly love our babies and want other people to share the loving companionship that we feel with our dogs. THAT is why I raise my babies. My brother went thru an experience of selling a German Shepard to a person in Texas. About a week passed and this person contacted my brother stating the dog had died. EVEN had a vet report. Little did these people know that my brother has an older brother that lives in Texas. They went to Texas for a visit and these people lived in a town that was close to where my older brother lived. They just took a little trip to this fellas house and guess what... THE DOG WAS ON A CHAIN ON THE FRONT PORCH ! Happy and very healthy! Can you imagine the owners surprise when my brother introduced himself ! Folks, let me tell you, for every horror story, thre is a very wonderful story. PLEASE do your home work and research the seller. Contact the references, contact the BBB to see if they are legit. Check it out as I learned the hard way and was recently scammed. I TRULY love my puppies and I am GOOD friend with all my clients. I treat them with dignity and repsect. They, in turn treat me the same way.
Nikki Allen is not who yu should associate with as far as buying a puppy because she had broken our agreement . this is what she wrote to me threatning me.
Nikki sent you a message.
Subject: no subject
"I honestly hope you die a horrible death for what you did. You are a liar and you know it! You are so broke that you could not come up with the rest of the money for the dog so you filed a chargeback stating that you did not recieve the dog when actually, you couldn't pay for the rest of it. That's really sad Natasha! You must need the money really bad. If I ever come to Washington I will look you up :) oh, and i'll pray for you!"
ALL PUPPY MILLS SHOULD BE BANNED AND WILL BE BANNED!
I bought 2 of the best dogs that I have ever had from Nikki. They are now 3 1/2 years old and everyone loves them! When one of my dogs was close to 1 years old (Brooklynn) she became ill and she was diagnosed with renal disease which I had a hard time believing. I contacted Nikki to see if there was any history of this. Nikki stayed in touch with me through the whole process and answered all of my questions (there was no history of renal disease). It turned out (to make a long story short), through my diligent care and investigation and Nikki sticking with me that Brooklynn had food poisoning. Brooklynn became sick in Jan and in Feb the food poisoning was announced - i heard this and immediately looked at the food that Brooklynn was eating (as soon as she was sick I stopped feeding her the food and saved it). The food was on the recall list. I told my Vet about my suspicions and she would not listen to me. My Vet, which of course I no longer go to, gave Brooklynn a prognosis of 1-4 yrs with renal disease. I took her to a specialist and the food poisoning was confirmed. Nikki stayed with me through the entire process. At that time I saw a complaint on Nikki on the internet and was scared that I was sold a sick dog - Nikki assured me that she was legit. I was talking with her on the phone and through email through Brooklynn's entire ordeal. Brooklynn is a thriving 3 1/2 year old dog with no harm from the poisoning of her kidney's. I have routine blood tests taken to make sure.
Nikki was always available to me to discuss any concerns I had about my dogs. I just want to post my positive story with dealing with Nikki. Thanks Nikki!
They have their contact information hidden, but it is listed on the website puppyfindfraud.com
To whom this matter concerns:
There are alway two sides to every story.. correct me if I am wrong.
I sold this puppy to Jill Zeimer with a 1 year health guarantee and if there was anything wrong with the puppy she NEVER told me about it. She would always send me emails stating that she loved the puppy and it was the best dog she had ever had! If the puppy was indeed "contagious" then I would have given her money back for the trouble that she had been caused. The puppy was not contagious, nor did it ever have anything wrong with it. But, I feel, that is why she never came to me and told me that this was wrong with it because she had nothing to back it up, no vet record..ect. I feel that she was making it up!
Another thing was the AKC papers. Now, anyone that know's AKC knows that they are very slow sending papers back to you. So, when Jill emailed me on Precious she insisted that I could mail the papers to her and we could just meet right away with her. So I met her mother and father (Jill sent them 7 hours to pick up the puppy). About 2 weeks later to be exact, I got the AKC papers in and as I stated, I would send them as soon as I got them. I sent them off, along with 2 other sets of papers going to other individuals(one in New York and one in Oklahoma). The other 2 ladies recieved their papers and it wasn't until 3 months later that Jill emailed me and asked me to send the rest of her paperwork... I was confused... She waited this long to let me know that she had not recieved her papers? Maybe she lost them... Ok, well I emailed her back to let her know that it would cost $30 to re-order them. She was not happy. Why was it my fault that she lost her AKC papers? I was nice enough to reorder them FREE of charge to her and send them to her. This time I sent them with insurance, a tracking number and she had to sign for them when she recieved them.
If I was dishonest I would have never given Jill my vet's name and number! My vet did not even speak to her! The receptionist spoke to her telling her that she could not give out any information because she had no idea who she was. I have no idea where she got the story that Precious was only checked at 5 weeks! They have her whole vet record from the time she was born until I met Jill's parents!
Puppyfind only removed the review because Jill could not prove what she wrote and that these things actually happened. I showed them proof that I sent the AKC papers and I showed them all of her emails that she wrote to me. How was that my fault?
In the end, I am so upset that she now has Precious because no telling how she is being treated. I put my trust in Jill that she would take good care of my baby and she completly showed me another side of her that I had never even expected from her. I think she is a coward, to say the least, for not even meeting me in person and that should have been the first red flag for me. I feel sorry for her parents for having to drive so far being that old. Please know that there are two sides to every story and if anyone ever has any questions you can email me anytime. Thank You.
I too, have had a horrible experience on puppyfind.com. A breeder, Nikki Brattin-Allen, sold me a puppy with contagious parasites (to other animals and humans)! She is a FRAUD! She kept trying to get more money for paper work that was supposed to be included as stated in the listing. This lady is very dishonest! I called her vet to make sure the puppy had all of her shots and they had NO RECORD of the puppy! The puppy may have been seen at 5 weeks old! I got her at 4 months! She sent me several nasty harassing emails that threatened me because I called her vet! Puppyfind.com encouraged me to leave a review and 1 month later the breeder told puppyfind my review was "invalid" so it was removed! Removing "only" the reviews that the breeder wants is discrimination!People that have a good or bad experience should be treated the same! Leaving only "good" feedback DEFEATS the PURPOSE of a review system! NIKKI BRATTIN-ALLEN IS A FRAUD! If you have had problems with the same breeder, please feel free to contact me. You are not alone! Puppyfind.com removes all reviews that the seller wants!

Trying to sell a dog with problems
This breeder has a dog name Whisper that is orange. The dog is an adult dog with hair loss. The breeder refuses to disclose the dog's problem in the ad. I am a prospective buyer of a Pomeranian dog and the only reason why she told me the dog has the hair loss problem is because I kept insisting that she tell me. In my opinion what she described sounded like Black Skin Decease which is a genetic problem and reputable breeders will breed away from this problem. When I asked her if she gave a health guarantee on this dog she said absolutely not. When I told her that the hair loss sounded more to me like Black Skin Decease she got irate and insulted me. I feel sorry for the buyer that buys this dog. She claims that she is selling all her dogs because she is moving to Hawaii. Please beware of scammers on the internet. I complained about her to puppyfind.com but they never responded.

Puppyfind will not address the report of an active Puppy Miller that is advertising on the Website
I have contacted PuppyFind.com customer service multiple times trying to give them information about an active puppy miller in Thailand. This person has plead guility to puppy abuse. I have directed Jessica, the Customer Service Manager to a blog that lists the complaints of numerous people and pictures of his kennel showing malnurished dogs of all ages with open wounds. I have had the Thailand rescuse contact Jessica requesting what kind of information that Puppyfind would deem conclusive as evidence of his abuse. Jessica has not addressed this. I have requested that my complaint be taken to a higher level, but Jessica will not comment on that, neither will she give me information on how to do this. There seems to be no oversite at all. I am unable to find any sort of contact number for Puppyfind. I feel that a website that affects so many people and so many helpless animals should make it their responsibility to listen and investigate any and all complaints and not stick their heads in the sand, when their is ample evidence that something is wrong. This is not the case with PuppyFind, they seem to be more concerned with collecting monthly ad fees. They take no responsiblity to protect their clients.

I'm from Ukraine! My name is Marina Pimenova and I have the most brilliant nursery in Ukraine called deFageiro. I have puppies for sale from Sasquehanna Migrant & Vasilisa Ruah In Vifania! Here is my webpage... it is my nursery! Welcome! www.defageiro.com price (from 500 to 1000$).
So trashy... take out and ad a spend 20 freaking dollars How classless is this crap
puppy with sarcoptic mange!
I posted a message on the breeders web page letting others know that I bought a chahuahua from a breeder found on the puppyfind site. This puppy had sarcoptic mange I faxed Jessica from puppyfind documents from the vet stating the puppy had mange. I was very upset when this message was then removed. It is not fair to other family's who will purchase a puppy from this bredder and have to go through what we did. They should at least have the heads up on this situation. Kind of funny only positive messages are displayed!
Lisa Wilson Time to take a look at your own self and WRONG you have committed against others. You talk about breeding quality, but if you go and look at www.Puppyfind.com for Pomeranians in California you will see "7" litters, 2 have arrived and 5 others are due.
Funny thing is that she has the puppies listed as Show Potential ? Just because a dog has champions in there pedigree does not mean the puppies that are to arrive will be show dogs..
There are 2 sides to each story which Ms Wilson has conveniently left out for those who want to give her sympathy.
On Ms. Wilson website your state that you breed for Quality not Quantity, well you just proved which one you are breeding for and IMHO IT IS THE $$$$$$ SHAME ON YOUR LISA WILSON of Heart to Heart Poms, also Toybox Poms, American Beauty Poms ect...
I was not going to even bother to respond, but when you do not state the truth and facts that is a problem which one day you will have to answer for.

I TOTALLY AGREE WITH THE PEOPLE WHO ARE COMPLAINING, I MYSLEF AND A REPUTABLE BREEDER OF HEALTHY AKC STANDARD POMERANIANS FOR OVER 19 YEARS AND I HAVE BEEN SCAMMED MYSELF ...TWICE! I ASKED ALL THE RIGHT QUESTIONS AND STILL GOT A VERY ILL PUPPY FROM A BIG TIME BREEDER IN MICHIGAN! THE PUPPY WAS SICK WITH PARVO WITHIN 72 HRS OF HIM ARRIVING. SHE EVEN ADMITTED THAT HER DOGS CAME DOWN WITH IT AND IT HAD COME FROM HER HOUSE, SHE BEGGED ME FOR HELP TO TRY AND SAVE HER DOGS BECUASE SHE HAD ALREADY SPENT THE $1200.00 I HAD SENT HER FOR MY DOG. AFTER IT WAS ALL OVER SHE BASICLY TOLD ME TO GO TO HE** THAT IT WAS AN ACCIDENT AND SHE DINT MEAN TO SEND ME A SICK DOG, AND I WOULDNT BE GETTING A DIME FROM HER! ALL OF MY DOGS WERE HEALTHY AND HAPPY UNTILL HE ARRIVED HERE AND THEN THE NIGHTMARE BEGAN! I LOST 5 PUPPIES AND ONE ADOLESCENT DOG (MANY OTHER GOT SICK BUT WERE SAVED EASILY BECAUSE I DO VACCINATE AND WOM AND I USE THE BEST I CAN NUY FOR MY BABIES!)
WHEN I NOTIFIED PUPPYFIND ABOUT THE SITUATION AND THEY BLEW ME OFF...THEY TOLD ME IT WAS A "CIVIL MATTER" SHE TOOK DOWN HER ADS RIGHT AWAY BUT NOW THEY STILL LET HER ADVERTISE KNOWING I HAD GOTTEN A VERY SICK PUPPY WITH A DEADLY COMMUNICABLE VIRUS FROM HER! TO ME THAT IS OUTRAGEOUS! I HAD ALL THE DOCUMENTS TO PROVE THAT SHE ADMITTED IT IN EMAILS AND ALL MY VET BILLS WHICH WERE ABOUT $3, 000.00 NOT TO MENTION MY BEAUTIFUL DOGS I LOST THAT WERE MY BABIES AND IRREPLACEABLE AND I HAD TO WATCH THEM SUFFER (YES I WAS AT THE VETS NIGHT AND DAY HELPING THEM) ALL THE BEDDING AND TOYS AND SUPPLIES I HAD TO THROW AWAY BECUSE OF THIS TERRIBLE VERY CONTAGIOUS VIRUS. THE PUPPT I WAS SENT WAS 13 WEEKS OLD AND ONLY HAD ONE VACCINATION ...RIGHT BEFORE HE WAS SHIPPED TO ME...SOOOOOOOO AS THE OTHER PERSON SAID DO YOUR HOMEWORK GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING AND BUYER BEWARE BECUASE THE PEOPLE AT PUPPYFIND DONT CARE AS LONG AS THEY GET THIER MONEY TO ADVERTISE TO THEM ITS ALL GOOD!
FYI MY BABIES COME WITH A ONE YEAR CONGENTIAL DEFECT HEALTH GUARANTEE AND IF YOU DONT GET THAT IN WRITING FROM ANY BREEDER YOU DONT WANT A PUPPY FROM THEM!
I feel that there isn't alot of complaints for the amount of dogs that are listed on Puppy find which to me is a good thing. The old saying Buyer Beware holds true today more than ever. If the Breeder is a GOOD breeder they will always stand behind their dogs. When purchasing a dog from out of state it should always be vet checked first and has to be inorder to be shipped so why wasn't problems picked up at the vets pryor to shipment? As the new owner you have the right to be able to talk to the vet and or should be receiving all of the vets paper work. Always ask for a current picture of your new puppy/dog with the date and your name on it hanging from its collar. That way you can see what you are buying. If your dog/puppy seems too good to be true and the price is way less than the average then you need to think about that too. Don't be in a hurry to buy always e-mail several times before making your purchase and get to know the person alittle first.
I'm a 13 yr. old that really wanted a puppy, mom and dad decided that they would let me get an english bulldog. We emailed three different people with three different emails and got the same message from all three of them saying hat they are a reverend, that is goin to west africa. And i agree that this is not a good website to get and animal from because the breeders turn out to sound like scammers, who just want your money. I also agree that they should have to tell al details about the dog good or bad because the buyer should be informed. My mother and father agrred to let me write out what i thought about the situation. =[
I was inquiring about a Pomeranian dog that a breeder is selling in Oregon. The dog's name is Whisper. After I insisted to know why she (the breeder) was selling Whisper she finally told me that the dog has some hair loss due to food allergies. In my opinion what she described to me was Black Skin Decease which is common in Pomeranian breed. I asked her why she didn't include that in her advertising on puppyfind.com and she got very upset with me. She became irate and insulted me. I am so glad I asked as manny questions as I did and that I insisted to know specifics about the dog. If anyone is selling an adult dog there is always a reason and is not often because they are moving or because they can no longer afford it. I made this complain to puppyfind.com and they didn't bother to respond to me.
I also got to visit a breeder in Marysville, California and I am so glad I did. She turned out to be a back yard breeder and most of her dogs where not to the breed standard. She had so many dogs in 3 wire hand made kennels 2 of which where 3X3 and 1 was 4X4. The kennels set on dirt and she had over flowed the water bowl and now the dogs where siting in mudd. Since they are Pomeranians and have long coats they appeared to be matted and they were filthy. The dog she wanted to sell me was 6 months old, she claimed it was 4 1/2 lbs, which she wasn't, had a severe under bite and had absolutely no shots or deworming. My husband told me that I can not buy a dog from out of State or a dog that we can't drive to pick up and see the home where they are being bred and the parents.
http://www.online4love.com is the primary way my husband and I meet likeminded "friends with benefits." There's no uncomfortable wondering if you ought to approach someone, you already know upfront when you meet them, and it is definitely worth the extra cost of becoming silver/gold imo, so you can exchange notes or pics before meeting and make sure its a good fit.
My hubby is str8 and I am bi and we have had no problem finding partners on online4love.com. We've had fun sex with lots of single men, single women and full swap couples that we met on O4L. And yes, I'm real, and no, I don't work for O4L or think they're perfect (they can be pricey and they goober up email sometimes,) but I think they're the best thing going by far for meeting other people who just want to have sex without strings!
For those complaining about the cost—ok, I agree, but I think you get what you pay for. I pretty much don't write people unless I can see what they look like and all, not because I'm shallow or a snob but because I want to know THEY'RE for real too and don't trust blank profiles...can you blame me? Also, it can be risky to contact people to swing with! Are they my boss? My brother? Twice my age? You get my drift. I’d like to know who I’m initiating a conversation with! The extra cost put into a good profile helps narrow down those you want to meet. How long do you pause on a profile that does not show a picture? (Faces can always be “smudged” until you know each other better to avoid embarrassing compromises.) And, although we are admittedly "just after recreational sex", part of having fun is that we have to LIKE our bedpartners too, so we look for things like a sense of humor and easygoing fun nature and a “click”. (And more expensive memberships include more matching criteria and stuff, too to help the odds of getting that “click” without too much searching.) So I guess I'm saying that if you don't cough up the extra cash for a full membership, don't expect overwhelming responses. There are lots of people who post their pictures and info, so when looking for people it's easy to breeze by the ones that don't. We may miss out on meeting some great people because of it...but we meet lots of great people too.
I agree there’s a high ratio of men to women, but I don’t know why that surprises anyone. Seems expected to me—although many women love sex, there do seem to be a lot more guys that are ok with swinging or casual sex than girls, for whatever reasons, and that’s not specific to O4L.
I definitely vote that it is worth the time and the money! We've had many a fun night of frolic thanks to connections we made on O4L. :)
What do you expect when dealing with irresponsible, BYB bred dogs? A brief look at the website shows low quality, overpriced dogs and not a health clearance in sight.
No decent breeder would be caught dead on a site like that.
Puppyfind allows breeders to remove all negitive posts. Due to breeders abusing other breeders. But the consumer is the one that gets ripped off. You can do several things. #1 Change your email address every time your post is removed and repost.#2 Every time your post is removed contact puppyfind and demand that they repost your message. You will have to complaint big time, all the time!. Tell them you will start posting negetive comments about them and you will turn them in to the better business bureau of the state they are located in. That is what i had to do.. I was a total ### and i got my way. the breeder i got riped off by is not selling dogs and was just sued and lost. We need to protect each other! Good Luck..
slow response to problems!
I asked puppyfind to remove a seller review I wrote on bulldog alley. So I could write a new one. Well they removed the one I wrote, but wont allow me to write a new one, thus giving bulldog alley a 5 star rating... I have emailed puppyfind support staff many times with no response. I find that interesting. Bulldog alley is scamming people and puppyfind wont do anything? Stay away from bulldog alley /jenny you will get a dog with no papers!
Puppy Find does not care if people are being scammed or laws are being broken. I reported to them a puppy broker who is breaking major CDC importing laws and they would not do anything about them. Why would they, they are making money off these puppies too
I see that you whatever issue you had with Puppyfind must have been resolved because I see a review on Bulldog ally/jenny that is negative and by a Stacey in August of 2007. Is that you? I hope things worked out okay for you and at least your review is showing. Good luck!

Greetings,
My name is Matt and I'm the Relationship Manager with PuppyFind.com. As this complaint is about our website, I feel it is necessary to reply to the complainant concerning the topics discussed.
To begin with, I would like to apologize to the complainant for any confusion that may have taken place during their experience using PuppyFind.com. It is never our intent for our website or our Customer Service Department to confuse anyone attempting to use the services of PuppyFind.com.
The complainant has stated that all the listings they viewed in their home state were outdated. Although this is not a current complaint, if the complainant is able to provide PuppyFind.com links to the listings in question, we would be happy to investigate and find out why old listings were still appearing on our website. It is a concern to PuppyFind.com if outdated listings are appearing on our site, because our system, since 2007, has been set up to remove any untouched listings that have appeared on the site for a period of 28 days straight. Basically, this means that if the member (Seller) that has posted the listing has not updated the listing in any way for 28 days, the listing will be automatically removed from the website. The Seller is given a notification after 20 days that they have not touched the listing in question, and if after 28 days, the listing is still not given any attention by the Seller, it will be removed without question. This is done to keep all listings on the website current. Prior to 2007, a little more time was given for Sellers to update their listings, but no listings should be appearing on our site that are a year old.
Concerning the other point made about how the complainant contacted PuppyFind.com Support by phone and were asked to sign up and pay, I'm not sure exactly why the complainant would have been asked to sign up if they were already a member or pay over the phone, because it is not standard policy for our Customer Support to ask this of our members. If the complainant knows who they spoke to at PuppyFind.com, it would be appreciated if they could provide the name of the Customer Support Representative (CSR) that asked them to pay. This will assist us so we can provide better training to all of our CSR's in the future concerning matters such as this.
On PuppyFind.com, both Buyers and Sellers have the option to upgrade (pay for) their accounts. Sellers typically upgrade their accounts more often than Buyers. When a Seller upgrades, this gives all Buyers the opportunity to view all details of the Seller's listings, including contact information. If a Buyer comes across a listing that has blocked information, this means the Seller has chosen not to upgrade, so the Buyer can do so, for as little as $5.99. Once a Buyer is upgraded, they can then view all the details of every listing on the site, regardless of the Seller's upgrade status.
The only time a CSR would mention upgrading to a member over the phone is if the member were to ask why they could not view certain areas of a listing on the website. The CSR would explain what an upgrade is useful for, and would provide the different prices we offer, but a CSR would not ask a member to pay over the phone. Also, if a member pays and in the same day decides they do not want the upgraded service, they can have their purchase voided so they are not actually charged. If within a few days of upgrading, a member decides the upgrade is not for them, they can receive a refund. Members are not simply 'blown off' when they ask for a refund. The best effort is made to accommodate our members when they do ask for their money back.
I again would like to apologize to the complainant for any confusion that may have taken place due to our website. As you can see, PuppyFind.com makes every effort to accommodate those seeking our service, but from time to time, there may be a miscommunication that takes place. If and when that occurs, we want to do our best to rectify the problem so future visits to the site can be positive experiences for all who come to PuppyFind.com.
Thank you for your time,
Matt
