Now they proceeded to make several orders to be shipped to various destinations, incl Marshall Islands, Fiji, Bahamas, Belize , El Salvador .
The reason why we know it is a SCAM is because 1. All addresses shared with us are fake 2. The price of the shipping was outrageous 3. they kept delaying the pick up of goods, to make more orders.

I have been getting the same fake enquiries. My business is based in Northland, NZ. The enquiry is very similar to above:

I got the same email from Wayne Pohl and I'm located in Honolulu, Hawaii. He even called me later that day from a Fresno area code [protected] and seemed to be in a rush to get the transaction started. He asked for a large quantity of a handful of products I sell that didn't seem to fit the need of normal retailers. I also asked about his business, if he had a company name, website, etc. This is what his response was, "Thanks for the response, Can I have the list of the product in stock and also we do sell to end users in Belize."
I got the same email just las Friday. Please do not engage

Also, I have experienced difficulties with DHL, UPS, FedEx and others when it comes to getting orders to my address here in Belize. So it would be best if you contact the freight shipper which I used in the past for a door to door (DAP) shipping, here is their email address to contact:
safewayservice@outlook.com , Principal Contact: Donald Juan, Company: SAFEWAY SERVICE, you can also notify them with my Customer ID : (Acct# BQ004783D0). Contact them with the following information,
- Total cost of my order
-Total weight & dimension of the consignment
- Pick up address
- Shipping address
- Contact person
I will need you to obtain a quote and get back to me with:

TOTAL COST (ORDER + AIR FREIGHT LOGISTICS)

We just packed an order from Wayne - he asked us for dimensions and weight to get a quote from his freight forwarder. he wants us to pay the forwarder and then we should charge his card.
Obviously this is a scam - but doubly confirmed by the above. thank you.
