ReCell.io agreed to purchase my iphone 12 pro max for $393.00. They received the phone and sent me a check for $393.00. I just received a letter from my bank that their *** Bank check was returned due to insufficient funds. I telephoned *** Bank and they verified that there are no funds in the account to cover this check. I contacted the company via telephone and email to report the returned check. They responded that they are aware of the problem and they asked for my PalPal email address so they could send the email to my account. Of course, they have not done this.. I have now lost my phone and $393.00 (+ $12 NSF fee).

On may 11th I accepted an offer to sell my iphone 13 pro for $595 from recell. I printed the shipping label off directly from the site and received an email from Ariel, who was said to be my contact if I needed assistance at all. On June 2nd I still had the phone in my possession because I unexpectedly broke my newest phone and had to use my old iphone until I could afford to fix my cracked screen. I received another email from recell offering $10 more than the original offer if I followed through with the sale. I replied with a confirmation and on the 9th I shipped the iphone out. There was no correspondence after I shipped the phone and on the 18th I sent a follow up email to inquire about my payment but did not receive a response. When I tried to get in touch through the company website the link was broken. I was never given an address or phone number and since the shipping label was printed directly from the site I am unable to track the shipment. After I mailed my device any trace of the company seemed to disappear from the internet.

This company doesnt even deserve 1 star tbh. I sent them my iphone 12 back in the beginning of may. I received an email confirmation stating the phone was received 5/12/23. They offered less than my quote. I declined the offer at first but then, they offered me more on 5/15/23, so i accepted. Was told i would receive my check within 7 business days. It wasnt mailed on time, i continued to email them and was told there was a delay on payments because they were so busy. My check was finally mailed on 5/30/23. I deposited the check on 6/12/2023 and on 6/14/2023 saw that the check was returned. I contacted my bank and was told it was returned due to insufficient funds. Ive been sending this company emails everyday since and have not received any response at all. I lost out on money and my phone!

I am awaiting payment in the total of $1670 dating back to February. They sent me 1 check and it bounced (they have a long history of doing this). I have sent countless emails and none get replied to EXCEPT when I send a email from a different email than the orders email. Weird right? Even then customer service tells me they will forward it to management. So that gets me nowhere. I need to be paid. I sent a email with my PayPal email.

I agreed to sell my cell phone to Recell.io for $790.00. I sent my phone in per the directions on their website. They sent me a check for $790.00 but it did not clear my bank. Now I cannot get my money from them. They are not answering my emails either.

We have traded phones with the Recell.io last year . The trade in process was smooth untill the cheques which were sent to us didnot clear with bank and were bounced back. We have been following up with Recell.io through emails and contacting them on phone , but we dont receive any response or any help from them for our pending amount. its more than 6 months we have been following up.

Phone was sold to this company and sent to them in excellent cosmetic condition (despite being conservative on the condition and labeling it as "good" for a few minor micro scratches). After they received the phone, they lowered the price nearly $200 citing "moderate wear on the sides" and a "small scratch on the screen" and that deems it not in "good" quality. I have photos documenting the condition it was sent in and none of these issues were present. This company is a classic example of bait and switch, and they should be held responsible for their unethical actions.
