Sol-up was awesome to work with
Sol-up was awesome to work with. From the first meet-up to the switch-on of our solar system, everything went smooth. Any questions I had were answered quick. Everyone was happy and responsive. A big thanks to Zack H who kept on top of NVEnergy. I'd definitely use Sol-up again.
We used Sol-Up for our solar install and we're super happy with the results
We used Sol-Up for our solar install and we're super happy with the results. Everything went smooth and we were impressed with each step of the way. Big thanks to Grant, Monica, Lauren, Jazman, Kariana, and Tori for making the approval and install process a success.
SolUp is the best solar company for me and you too!
SolUp is the best solar company for me and you too! Michael *** came for an appointment and he was smart, polite and gave me all the time I needed to ask questions. He explained all the solar stuff professionally. Michael told me about two big changes in solar that were problems before, but now they're not.
The first change is that new solar panels last three times longer than old ones, so I won't have to replace them in my lifetime. The second change is that companies like Panasonic guarantee the amount of energy the solar panels will make. If they don't make enough energy, Panasonic will pay for more panels to make up the difference.
SolUp was great at keeping me informed during the purchase and installation process. Everyone I talked to was nice and professional. They never left me hanging.
After the solar panels were working, Tori-Lee *** came to see me. She was really impressive. Tori knew a lot and answered all my questions. She showed me how to use the Solar Edge App and explained how to compare how much energy the panels make.
Overall, SolUp is amazing. There's nothing bad to say and everything good to say. My solar panels make exactly as much energy as they said they would and I'm excited to have no electric bills. The solar panels started working on May 11, which is a week after my NV Energy bill cycle started. When the billing cycle ended on June 2, my electric bill was zero and they owed me $5.78!

I was looking for solar options after seeing my summer bill
I was looking for solar options after seeing my summer bill. I checked out 3 or 4 different companies with incentives that sounded good. I ended up with Sol-Up through a referral and reviews about Panasonic panels. The process was smooth from beginning to end. My sales consultant, Grant Lipus, came over and explained everything in detail. He didn't push me to buy at all. I was already contracted with Vivint at the time, but upon speaking to Grant, I immediately canceled my contract.
The reason why I canceled is because the solar panels were a lot more reasonable in pricing. Panasonic is made in Japan and usually lasts longer than any others. Everything is done in-house, from sales all the way to installing and QA. Other companies I called and got quotes from did hire third-party installers, which was a big thing when it comes to a big investment. Sol-Up took care of my HOA papers, submission of Net ***, and much more. Sol-Up notified me that it will take at least 20 business days from submission to Power Live. I didn't believe them at first because my other friends who went with other companies took over 2 months. LOL. I'm like okay Sol-Up could just be saying this. But I got the results. Email sent 10/22 for net metering submission. NV energy came over 11/15 and gave the OK. I quickly notified my friends that their guys messed up. Thank you Sol-Up and Grant, Autum, Sunny, Victoria, Monica, Lauren, and I might be forgetting someone.

Save yourself a dime, remove the incentives from other companies because you have to look at the overall of what the company offers. Sol-Up doesn't rely on incentives to get your buy-in, they know what they are worth. I'm reviewing this without any compensation, monetary promise, and solely truthful with what I have said. Solar is a big investment.
One great thing that I've also learned, Sol-Up can transfer Solar to your new house with a small fee of $149 plus Labor fee. The bank I got with Sol-Up can also transfer payment to new owners. It does vary per bank, so make sure you ask the question before signing the contract. Also, tell Grant I sent you. Good guy!
Sol-Up Solar Power company installed 22 solar panels on our roof in Jan 2017
Sol-Up Solar Power company installed 22 solar panels on our roof in Jan 2017. They added 3 more in Oct 2017 to meet our energy needs. Last Nov, we had a roof leak during heavy rain under the solar panels and roof tiles where the installers would have been walking. We told our insurance company, who sent a roofer to investigate. They found cracked roof tiles under the solar panels but said the leak wasn't due to wind or storm damage. We told Sol-Up, who sent someone to inspect but couldn't find the source of the leak. They said they'd send a roofing company to do a leak test. They sent ***, who said we needed broken and crushed roof tiles replaced and gave Sol-Up a quote. Sol-Up then contacted ***, who removed 3 solar panels and reported back that they had no liability in the leak. We asked to see the report, which was vague. We talked to *** at ***, who said the leak was due to cracked and crushed tiles but he didn't know who broke them. He said it would have taken 2 years for the felt to deteriorate and allow the leak. He sent someone to take pictures of the damage. We had 3 different roofing companies confirm the cracked and crushed tiles. During the install, Sol-Up said the tiles were breaking easily but would replace them. They brought replacement tiles but they disappeared after the install. They installed 3 more panels in Oct 2017 without our permission. We think they did it while we were away because they had run out of replacement tiles and knew they would break more. When the panels were removed, it revealed broken and crushed tiles directly under them. We had no issues with our roof before the install. You can see pictures of the damage on Google Reviews and Yelp.

So, we got this solar thing from Sol-Up and they said it would cover most of our energy costs
So, we got this solar thing from Sol-Up and they said it would cover most of our energy costs. But, the first month we got a bill for $227! I called them up and they said we would have had to pay $243 without the solar system. What a rip-off! We paid $16,000 for this thing and we only save $16 a month. Solup is saying we would have had a $500 bill without the system, but that's just crazy talk. We never paid that much for power, even in the hottest months. It's a total scam. They just say you use more energy than you do so they can sell you this thing and take your money. Don't fall for it!
I got a Sol-Up Solar system installed at my place a month ago
I got a Sol-Up Solar system installed at my place a month ago. The inverter app to monitor the system's performance is unreliable. It's been inconsistent. The Sol-Up team blames external factors for communication issues. I trust the system works since the app is often unavailable. It's like trusting a security system without verification. Discussions with the company yield repetitive excuses. Product_Or_Service: June
I got Sol Up to put in a solar system in my house back in February
I got Sol Up to put in a solar system in my house back in February . But since then, I've been having problems with the system not working right. I've complained to them five times already, including just last Friday on April 23rd. The first three times I talked to tech support, but they just told me to reset the unit or update the firmware. The fourth time, I talked to the lead engineer, who straight up lied to me and said the problem was with the monitoring app, not the system itself. But I caught him in his lie when I showed him that the app showed no power being generated on days when there was no power received. He finally agreed to replace the inverter, but it only took him five minutes to do it. When the tech came out to reset the system again, they were really rude to my wife when she asked them questions. And now, once again, the system isn't generating any power.

Sol-Up came to my house last year to sell me solar panels
Sol-Up came to my house last year to sell me solar panels. I said yes and signed a paper that depended on financing. The salesperson said I had to decide soon, but they would check my credit in time. They told me about the financing later, but I said no because it needed a big down payment. I didn't hear from them again, and I thought it was done. But then, six months later, their boss emailed me and said they would put a lien on my house if I didn't pay. He said I didn't tell them in time, and the contract didn't need financing. I said that wasn't true, and I wouldn't pay. Now, they put a lien on my house for $25k.
Purchased system in April 2023. Finally got PTO in July, but whole system went kaput in the end of August. Now I am fighting with SolUp to fix the issue. I have solup's tech today, they spent 5 hours but couldnt find what is wrong with the system. Anyone interested to file Class Action Law Suite against SolUp?
