I have checked my credit report and I have no recollection of any hospital bills in my name
I have checked my credit report and I have no recollection of any hospital bills in my name. I do not know who this person is who gave my information to this company or hospital. This is FRAUD. I did not go to any hospital and this is not my account. This appears to be a surgery center.

This establishment has put a derogatory remark on my credit report due to a bill from a hospital that is a billing issue with insurance. I have never signed a HIPPA release form for this agency to obtain any of my personal medical records. I want this remark removed off of all reporting credit agencies.
Unfair business practice, REMEX placed a deragatory collections remark on my credit report as of 5/5, without ever making any attempt to contact me in writing to provide me with an opportunity to respond to their clients claim against me. Dates of service suggested during telephone call with first William, and then Ryan (Supervisor), to be in July , which go back beyond my ability to search online for any possible insurance EOB that may have been related to the purported creditor. Unknown creditor ***, REMEX would not disclose contact information so the matter could be investigated thoroughly. An attempt to collect a $58.00 debt should have never been taken to the extreme of placing a deragatory collections remark into my credit file which I work hard to keep pristine.
I am not liable for this debt and I do not have a contract with REMEX INC. Furthermore, they did not provide me with the original application as requested. The account in question and the disputed amount of $185.00 have not been adequately substantiated.
Bills that were agreed upon with a hardship letter were resloved
Bills that were agreed upon with a hardship letter were resloved. The letter called for the same price going forward. This was not honnored. This is a material breach. Remex now wants the full amount and is never going to get it. I have offered $600 which is what I believe to be owed. I will never pay more than this and its fine if it goes to court and its fine if I never settle.
My insurance company, Plan East, has paid the balance dues. They requested an affidavit to be notarized, which they received, and subsequently made an adjustment to my medical bill, covering all services provided. However, I'm facing a $1750 debt collection that I need removed from my credit report so I can refinance my house. I have the necessary documentation to prove this. I would appreciate a call to discuss this matter further, as the debt has been settled by the insurance company. I have maintained from the beginning that I was not responsible for this charge. The emergency room incorrectly coded my visit as if it were related to a car accident, which was a mistake. Due to this error, my credit score has been negatively affected, hindering my ability to refinance my home. Additionally, Plan East has not updated my address in 8 years. Medical associates have confirmed that the debt has been paid by the insurance company, as I have stated all along. I was not responsible for this charge. The ER incorrectly coded the visit, and this needs to be rectified. Please update my credit report to reflect these changes and ensure that my insurance provider has the correct address.
I have sent a letter on February 11 and have yet to hear any information back. it has been two whole months of me trying to contact the business to get this issue resolved. the alleged debt from Remex Inc is being reported on my credit as a medical bill that I have no connection to. I have send a written request for the complete bill showing the alleged debt and a copy of the signed HIPPA authorization formed I signed to give permission for medical information to be shared. I am trying to buy a home for my kids and I and this collection is affecting my report extremely! I know the debt is not mine and have been trying to get information from a business who isnt be complaint with the law nor my time and it isnt fair. the last year has been extremely hard on my family due to COVID closing down jobs and now that I am trying to get back on my feet for my family, I cannot seem to get anywhere because Remex Inc refuses to comply with the law and respond in a timing matter. I just want this issue solved immediately!
I was sent a collections notice for an anesthesia bill that was paid in full at the time of service. I called REMEX several times and faxed corroborating documentation of my payment and my medical EOB showing that I actually OVERPAID for the services rendered. I called to confirm they received my documentation and was told they received it and would remove this from collections, I received no further communication so I assumed it was removed. I recently ran my credit report and see that it still remains in collections status and I have not received the overpayment that was made. Again, I faxed all documentation on 4/23 along with proof it was still appearing on my credit report, but I have not received a response.

I received a bill from Remex Revenue Management Excellence/ Debt Collector on 7/16
I received a bill from Remex Revenue Management Excellence/ Debt Collector on 7/16. I'm not sure why I received this bill since I never received a bill from any doctor. I even mailed a copy of my explanation of benefits. I talked to Jessica *** on 8/19 and she was going to resubmit paperwork to my doctor. She was going to call me back in two weeks to let me know if this was resolved. It's 11/12 and I am still waiting for a phone call.
Unfortunately Covid has brought out many scammers. I've had collection companies attempt to collect on debts that weren't even owed and/or reaging debts. Remex popped up on my credit report claiming I owed a debt for a medical. I have no recollection of this debt nor have I received a phone call or letter from Remex, so I sent two disputes to Remex requesting validation and also sent dispute requesting verification to Equifax, Experian, and Transunion. Remex verified this medical collection with the credit bureaus twice but failed to respond to my disputes. In total they have received four separate requests and failed to contact me at all. The kicker is I also received a letter from another collection agency attempting to collect on this SAME exact debt. In July I was contacted by another collection agency claiming I owed a medical debt for a supposed visit in a city I have never set foot in. Unbelievable! I want this collection removed from my credit reports immediately.

I have reached out to the Credit Bureaus and this particular collection agency in reference to this item on my credit report. I informed them I have no knowledge of this debt. Also they are in violation of the (Federal Credit Reporting Act) and (Hippa Laws). I see that it references "medical surgery" This would be considered a "medical personal debt" Therefore (Remex) doesn't have a right to report this to the credit bureaus. I have requested proof of the debt. The representative (at Remex) told me that she could not provide that information. Credit collection agencies are not the holders of the debt. Therefore they should not be allowed to report erroneous false, inaccurate information on someone's credit report. The Bureaus should be be allowing this sort of thing.
I had a hip replacement 4/8. Received a Anesthesia bill. Try to reach the billing office. Was informed they no longer bill for the particular doctor and didny have a forwarding address or number..I wanted to dispuate the charge at the time. Months later i received something on my credit from Remex. I asked them to send me a statement proving the charges. They did in a undisclosed envelopes. Now this made me think it was a acam. I found out different and called and asked to do a payment plan. They refused. I told them we are in a pandemic and im not working and cant afford to pay in full. So rhey sent my file to Sklar law who is threatening to garnish my job and adding more money to my account..im willing to pay bit dont want to pay extra and i reached out to Sklar and spoke to Michael and was told he dosent care about my issue and hung up on me twice. I prefered not to work with him or Sklar at all..

I have observed that this company has been reporting fraudulent and inaccurate information to the credit bureaus which is a violation of my consumer rights, the *** and the *** The account numbers are # ***. The first dispute to the bureaus, the company responded by stating the account ts were mine. They then sent me a letter asking me to provide them with my personal information to verify the accounts were mine. How can they report this inaccurate information to the credit bureau but ask me to provide information they should already have when verifying the accounts with the bureaus. What they have done is illegal and subject to civil litigation in the court system. However, I will give them one last chance to provide mw with the contract to these accounts which will hold me contractually liable to pay them for said accounts. Furthermore, the contract that shows my signature which would legally bind me to pay this debt. Cease and desist reporting fraud account

My insurance company's Plan East settled my dues, requested a notarized affidavit, and received it.
My insurance company's Plan East has settled the balance dues, requested a notarized affidavit, which they have received. They've made adjustments to my medical bill, covering all provided services. I need to remove a $1750 debt collection from my report to refinance my home. I have proof of payment and would appreciate a call to discuss this. The debt was wrongly attributed to me; the ER misclassified it as if I was in a car accident, which has damaged my credit score, hindering my refinancing efforts. Plan East has had an outdated address for 8 years. Medical associates have confirmed the insurance payment; I was not liable. The error in coding at the ER needs correction. Please update my credit report to reflect the accurate information. The insurance provider needs to update their records with the correct address.

This company is reporting debt on my credit report that is over 10 years old.
I APPARENTLY had an unknown $80 balance after insurance in September- and this loser never CONTACTED ME. I found out only when my credit score went down from 815 to 797 and I ran my credit report! You have to contact people before you do this. The AUDACITY OF THIS COMPANY. Over 80 piddly dollars. Hope he breaks his neck.
I tried to settle a debt with Remex for a collection dated 9/18 in the amount of $120 and seek a letter to have the collection permanently deleted from my credit report. They informed me they cannot delete the account from my credit report unless I paid a debt from 2. I informed them, in the ***, there is a statue of limitations on all debts, which is 6 years. This debt is 10 years old and can no longer be collected. They told me that isn't the law. It is in fact the law: Collection of Debt on Account -6 yrs. 2A:14-1. I am requesting to pay the $120 debt that is current, and have in writing the deletion of all debts from Remex taken off my credit report.I am not seeking to have the debt stated as paid on the report, I am seeking a deletion of the account from my credit report in writing.
