Red River Furnace and Duct Cleaning came out to our child care centre to clean our dryer duct. The service was done quickly and efficiently and the technicians were very professional and respectful to our environment. The cost was very reasonable as well. We would definitely use this company again for any future service needs.

I was very happy with the services of all 3 people who came to my home from Red River Furnace and Duct. They were very respectful of my personal space and wore masks as did I. They explained to me each step of work done with the furnace. duct cleaning and 3 room carpet cleaning. They all worked diligently for all the time they were here. Thank you! Gayle

I had to get a new furnace and Red River Furnace and Ducts did an awesome and excellent job. I also had an air conditioner installed in the same week. It's very reassuring to know I will keep warm in the winter months and cool during a hot summer. I would recommend this company. Very professional technicians. I'm so glad I have them come annually to clean my ducts.

I had technicians Ron and Mark at my home today to clean the heating ducts and the dryer vent. Both were very professional young men and a pleasure to have in my home.

They worked extremely hard and never complained about having to do a lot of the work from a dingy crawlspace! They got the job done and did an excellent job of cleaning up afterwards.

Very professional and explained everything to my satisfaction. Felt very comfortable with the technicians being in my home. I like that one of technicians took before and after pictures of the ducts. It was a pleasure. The latest equipment is far superior to the days of trucks with air pillows expanding. Looking forward to my September appointment to have antivirus application. 🙂

This company recently cleaned and sanitized by ducts, had the furnace thoroughly cleaned and checked, and they also cleaned and sanitized my carpet. This is a very professional and pleasant company with very efficient methods of cleaning versus other companies in Winnipeg. I would highly recommend this company for all of your home services needs.

I was able to arrange duct cleaning on a home we just purchased very promptly. The technicians were running ahead, and called to ask if it was okay if they arrived a bit earlier. Worked out great for timing, always better early than late. They were respectful of my home, and did a great job of thoroughly explaining the process that they were doing. Multiple photos were taken before and after, and then shown to me. The ducts had never been cleaned. They did an amazing job. Would use their services again in the future.

Jason and Teddy arrived at the expected time and were courteous and efficient in doing their job. We were able to keep our 'physical distancing' during this Covid-19 pandemic. They were polite and respectful and did a good job. We were pleased that the registers were covered with an adhesive plastic rather than having to have the registers removed from the vents. We were pleased that Jason offered the Anti-Microbial fogging as it has been a while since we had that performed. We have been using your service for many years. Thank you.

We have used the services of Red River Furnace and Duct Cleaning for over 5 years. They contacted us a courtesy reminder that our furnace was due for the annual inspection and cleaning. We booked an appointment and they sent us an email reminder.

Eddy, the Technician from Red River, performed our annual furnace inspection and cleaning. He was on-time, friendly, courteous and explained the work to be done. After he finished the work he reviewed the inspection checklist with me and indicated the furnace is in good working order. Eddy was very professional and did a great job. Another great HVAC maintenance experience from Red River Furnace & Duct Cleaning!

We had an excellent experience with Red River Furnace...It was quite a complicated job installing our new rooftop air conditioner and Red River, especially Mike, went above and beyond expectations. Not only did Mike properly assess the situation he also organized and secured the lift that was required to complete the job. All the techs were knowledgeable and did a great job at installing the AC unit. The office staff was also very helpful in resolving issues and helping us prepare for the install. We were charged the exact amount we were quoted which was very much appreciated. We've enjoyed using Red River over the last few years as they are trustworthy and they do honest and reliable work and I would definitely recommend their services.

We called red river for our duct cleaning, they were so friendly and helpful during the entire process. We have an older home and the ducts hadn't been cleaned in a very long time. They not only did a phenomenal job, but they kept us updated during the entirety of the process. They made sure we were aware of any issues when they were encountered and because there were many (mold found in the vents etc) they were able to offer us solutions and made it affordable by putting us on a payment plan. They even took before and after pictures and the difference was like night and day. They cleaned up after themselves very well and didn't cause any damage. 10/10 would highly recommend! The technician (Gerry) that cleaned and checked the furnace was very knowledgeable about Lennox products and advised on ways to save the life of a furnace with proper cleaning every year. The 2 technicians (Eric/Jordan) that cleaned the ducts and vents had a clear understanding of the business. They were polite/professional and a good sense of humour. They showed me before/ after pictures of the ducts and offered a few other options to keep the mold from becoming a problem in the future(they weren't mold expects, but gave their opinion) . I did convey my appreciation of the tips from the technicians, but denied any other service at this time and they thanked me for my service. In closing, it was great service from my initial phone with the customer service specialist, as she knew all the price points of each service and made sure to tell me I had a discount on my account from 2 years ago. I was also given an extra discount for the promotion of the month. She even fit my service in on the same day, my furnace was cleaned. So thanks to everyone for such great work.

Had them twice. Both times they told me that they sent their "best person". First time was to install a furnace. Found out they didn't install it properly and they had to come back to fix it. Second time during the yearly inspection that they missed significant issues with my furnace that THEY INSTALLED and the problems were found by a plumber. *** They also had to replace a pump for my humidifier and the technician mention that there was likely an issue by how much water was being pumped through the humidifier but did not investigate what the problem was or did not try to fix it.*** Tried to talk to them about my concerns and was offered a $50 credit by the operator and was promised a manager would contact me directly. I finally heard from a manager 3 weeks of nothing through email (didn't even return my phone call) after I initially contacted them about my concerns and was offered the same $50 credit that doesn't even cover a fraction of the services they offer as a piece of mind.

I called Red River Furnace & Duct Cleaning to clean my dryer vent as my dryer was over heating. They were prompt in coming out, but the truck they sent had a different name on it. Not sure how they are affiliated. After they left my dryer was still overheating. As the vent had just been cleaned I assumed it must be an issue with the dryer. I called a service technician for the dryer and found it would very likely cost between $300-$400 for a service call and parts. I opted to replace the dryer as it was 15 years old. Stopped using dryer until new one arrived (about 2 weeks). Lucky for me my new dryer had a flow sensor indicator or I may have started a fire. The sensor showed there was a 80-90% blockage in air flow. Upon further investigation (taking ceiling tile from section over rec room) I discovered a 2" hole in the vent which may possibly have been done by the technician when he fished his device through the vent. Also the vent was plugged with debris that covered about 2' of the 4" diameter of the duct work which was partially visible through the hole. At this point it was not worthwhile to call Red River in for a recall as the vent still had to be dismantled and replaced due to the hole. The $111.95 service call to clean my dryer vent ended up costing me an additional $53 in parts and I ended up doing the work myself. If Red River had equipment with a camera or had simply checked the dryer air flow before and after the service I may have been spared this costly adventure of replacing my dryer or having to repair/replace the duct work. The company would not refund me any of the cost of the service call which was less than satisfactory. Instead, as a "courtesy", they offered me a $50 in-store credit towards future service which was a waste as I would not use this company again.

When the guy named Jason from Red River Furnace & Duct Cleaning came to our house, he immediately started trying to sell us extra services that weren't even mentioned when we booked the appointment. He made it sound like if we didn't buy the extra supply duct cleaning for $175, we would suffer serious health problems. Then, he put on this big gas mask thingy and claimed that there was mold in our vents that he could get rid of for an additional $200. He even tried to pressure us by saying the price would go up to $500 if we waited just one day. The worst part is, he showed us some random pictures on his phone and said they were our vents, but who knows if that's true. We called the office to complain, but the manager didn't even bother addressing our concerns about the pushy sales tactics. Overall, not a great experience with their residential furnace duct cleaning service.

Red River Furnace cleaned out furnace and dryer ducts at our condo and the dryer duct got plugged with lint after the cleaning on the outside. We got Red River Furnace to come out and clean our condo furnace, heating ducts, and dryer ducts. After the cleaning, our tenants complained that the dryer was taking twice as long to dry the laundry. We got an appliance repairman to check the dryer, which cost us more money, and he said the dryer was working fine. (I was away working at the time so I couldn't check this myself) So we got Red River Furnace to go back and check if they clogged the vent somehow. They supposedly looked at it and did another cleaning and said the vent must be clogged on the roof. They didn't even look on the outside of the building as when I got home a month later, I went over and checked the side of the condo and 3 floors up the vent was completely plugged with lint that they knocked loose. The cleaning technician only had to look in the general direction of where the duct went out to notice the problem. Now they want to charge us another $150 to clean the outside of the building after multiple emails and calls back and forth with Rodo. They caused the issue and won't come and clean up their mistake. *** Here's a quote from Rodo's reply email ". As I mentioned when we originally spoke about your concerns, the issue here is that the Dryer Vent clearly needs to be cleaned from both inside and outside of the building, this is something that is done by default as part of the service whenever possible, however, the challenge here is that the dryer vent is located on the 3rd floor of the building and is not easily accessible." Nowhere in the email is it mentioned that the dryer vent should be cleaned from the outside as well as the inside before the complaint, and he did not mention it on a phone call as we had no phone conversations before they plugged the vent. We've used Red River Furnace multiple times in the past *** I will not use them again unless they fix the issue caused by their work.
