Good concept?
This app would be great, but I have had service for nearly 2 months now and still no usage comes up. Called and they said it would take until the first bill...nothing. My actual bill used to show up on there. Now I don't even see that. I think this app would be great if it worked (for me)!
Not as useful
What did you guys do?! It was easier to use before you did the last update. Now I don’t know offhand what my bills going to be I literally have to add everything up in order to find out what my bills possibly going to be. Why did you guys do this stuff? It was so much better two updates ago.
Nest sync issue
I have not had many issues with my IPhone 7 and this app, until now.
My main issue is the Nest thermostat section of the app will not work and/or sync to the Thermostat. It will either say sync success and nothing happens or it says disabled.

What happened?
I’ve been using the app for over two months and all of a sudden I get an error message stating that the app isn’t for “non smart meter” customers. Really? I can’t use the app now and have to login on the website which doesn’t provide as much info as the app did. It’s been fine until 4 days ago.
Can’t Submit Payment
I usually love this app, but our account is now overdue and due to a(nother) hack to our bank account, I now have a new card to add, but I am unable to access to pay. It’s telling me there’s a comport glitch or something like that. I don’t want our electricity shut off just because I can’t access my account on the app...
Great Job on this app
In the past, this app was a pure headache. With the latest update, it's now a "top performer"! The estimates are more accurate, although the Hi/Lo temps do not reflect the actual temps for the week.
Side note: This app helped me prove that the builder for the property, next door, was stealing my electricity while I was away @ work.

Does Not Work
I can’t imagine why Reliant even offers this app for download. It simply does not work. I’ve never been able to log in—not even once. I just get the “Oh, snap” error message, and that’s it. I deleted it because it’s a complete waste. Reliant should probably remove it from the App Store until their developers can come up with something that actually works. So disappointing!
Meh
This app gives good insight into your daily weekly usage which is helpful, but..
The new “Customizable” option doesn’t even work. There a button there, but it won’t let me press it. Not sure what’s up there.
It seems that each version has its own set of bugs to deal with that are annoying. Super long log in time included.
Would be nice to see a more “reliable” app..
Defect when scheduling future payment
The app is ok but it has a defect. It won't let me scheduled a payment for a future date. When I change the payment date to a future date it shows the payment amount as zero, even after I exit and go back in and correct, and gives me no button or option to proceed forward with the payment (because it is for a zero amount). I have to go to the website to schedule my future payments since I can't do it through the app.
Love the app when it works
This app is so convenient and easy to use, however it’s ALWAYS shut down for maintenance...ugh
It’s so inconvenient, because you guys will send me a email letter letting me know my energy amount Is low... I’ll go to the app to put money on my account and it’s shut down. So now I have to live in fear on rather or not my light are going to turned off. So I have to call in and oooooo. Can you please do maintenance in the middle of the night?
Failures outweigh successes
This all is great for monitoring your account and paying your bill online.
However, Reliant's internet-related capabilities rival that of a Commodore 64 ("old computer," for those of you under 30). Their web page and this app alike both are infuriatingly slow to load. The servers are down about as often as they are not. The app is useful if/when it is working, if you have the time and inclination to check in on it from time to time. Otherwise, it is perhaps the most frustrating abject failure Of a utility-related app (or any app, for that matter) that I have ever encountered.
Poor application, worst service in industry
In an attempt to improve the terrible customer service reputation, the introduction of this app was meant to alleviate the countless complaints from reliant customers. While the app addresses the basic features all of its competitors have had for years, it does nothing to improve upon the unbelievable waiting times and complete incompetence in customer feedback. You will still find yourself on hold for over 30 minutes at a time and dealing with careless and inept representatives from the company. How this company determines to not be obsessed with customer service escapes me. Reliant does not care about their customers.
Horrible app
This app is no bueno ! The other day I had to pay my bill so I did it through the Reliant app. I payed the amount I was suppose to pay and out of no were it processed TWICE ! Making me pay double.
I went to my bank to claim this and I got my money back, and RELIANT took it back again and also took $11 u don’t know why but this freaking app did it.
I called them to make a concern about my money and there app and they told me I needed service calling me old but I am 28 ! I know how technology works and everything but this app sucked and I had to pay them back no matter what.
DO NOT DO YOUR PAYMENTS THROUGH THIS APP!
Worst app on the market
This is the worst app on the market, every time I use it to do something it crashes and is always up for maintenance. What irks me even more is that when I try to go watch a YouTube video to get my mind of off this app not working I am hit with a double ad with that insufferable armadillo. Not only do I see it everywhere I go, I also see it on my YouTube videos. Please refrain from using this app as it only provokes ones anger even more. I can’t remember getting this fed up ever in my life. If you wish to maintain a healthy and balanced life my advice is that you stay away from this app, this company, and that armadillo at all times.
Residential Consumer
This Is THE Worst app that I have ever tried to use in my 4 years of using IOS applications on my I-phones. I have deleted it at least 10 times since joining this company 3 months ago. I am questioning the integrity of this company if they continue to ignore the reviews for this. 9 out of 10 reviews call it an embarrassment and worthless because it will not ever let you in or if it does it kicks you right back out. Whoever is in the upper echelon of management in this company is very derelict with monitoring their automation and data services department that has proven that they cannot even compete with even the industry's worse. This is so frustrating that an organization as large as this would allow such a thing to occur apparently (according to the reviews) without any improvement since its inception. What good is it if u can not even sign on. Makes me question how well managed this company is. Other than this I've been pleased since switching over from TXU. The board of directors should roll some heads and issue an apology to customers for even letting it hit the streets. Thru ranting for now if I can just refrain from downloading it again for one more chance.

I just did the update last week and now it wont let me see my usage, its saying I just opened my account and it will take up to 48 hours to work.

Make a payment error
I hate that for the past 6 months I have such a hard time paying thru the app. It takes 10-15 tries to get it to stop saying there is an error on their part. Please fix this!

No Apple Pay/Wallet support
The app lacks support for paying your bill using Apple Pay. In today’s world of constant security breaches, giving your credit card information out everywhere is no longer a good idea.

Notification badge for ?
Have a iOS Notification “badge” but nothing in app tells me what this alert is for. I have checked all locations and messages and nothing. Tried uninstalling & reinstalling app but will not go away.

Scheduled payments do not work
Multiple times I’ve scheduled payments weeks in advance. I get an email a day after it’s due saying the payment didn’t work and I get charged extra. I go to pay at that point and the app magically fjcking works.

Doesn’t work for rural customers
Recommended by the customer service to pay my bill/ check usage. After downloading, changing passwords, etc. get an error message stating the app can not be used without a smart meter. Hello just want to pay my bill.

Useless
How does an does not recognize my fingerprint from my IPhone and forgets my password I’ve been using to access my reliant account. Even if you managed to access the app, it takes a lifetime to load. I highly don’t recommend this app nor the service.

Reliant is a joke. I can’t wait for my contract to end. The screwed me over big time. Made me owe money for. Property I don’t even live at! I called to cancel service with them and they claim I never called in... BEWARE! This company is a joke!

Can’t even log in
Downloaded the app an hour ago, set up my account, and tried to log in. Keeps saying there is a technical difficulty. I’m not losing anything from this app not working, but it definitely isn’t impressing me right after I just signed up for electricity with this provider.

Horrible past few updates
Wish they would have left this app alone and not try to laud the entire website on the app. Crashes/freezes constantly. Won’t retain login info nor does it enable the Touch ID fir log in even tho you get a pop up msg saying it’s enabled for the next time you open the app.

Terrible app
If all you want is to view your bill and usage, then the app is perfect. But it ALWAYS says they’re having ‘technical errors’ when I need to pay my bill. I ALWAYS have to login to my account online to pay the bill, which defeats the convenience of even having the app at all.

Frustrating
Keeps giving me an error that my password/username is incorrect but it’s the same password I use to login into the web interface. And when I try and reset the password, the reset magically times out before I can update it. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it still doesn’t work.
