Renewal by Andersen - St. Louis The worst experience we have ever had

The worst experience we have ever had. We have been waiting almost 2 yrs for them to fix our door. 3 times the wrong door has been ordered. It is very frustrating because I'm still having to pay for a door that isn't right.

I am very unhappy and dissatisfied with the lack of professionalism and lack of completely the job in its entirety. We purchased and began paying for new windows and doors back in August . Given the pandemic, we agreed to wait until January 25 to begin the project. We were concerned because of the weather, but were assured that the crew could handle any type of weather as they were used to working in inclement weather. The day it was supposed to start was a rainy day so right off the bat the crew cancelled due to rain even though we had sliding glass doors and window that was fully protected from inclement weather. So right off the bat after waiting 5 months, we were already delayed installation. The crew started on the 26th.The first issue that arose was that the front doors we ordered were said to be the wrong one ordered, because we were told we could not have the french door we wanted by the sales person ***, but that is what he ordered for us. Because of that we had to get Operations involved and somehow we were able to get the french door but it had us incurring additional costs (including electrical work, wall removal, mudding, patching, etc.) that could have been rolled in at the onset.Then came the storm door, which the crew did not want to install. Multiple times we were asked are you sure that you want to install it. Well why would we purchase it if we did not want it installed. Needless to stay it was incorrectly installed which had to have the service crew multiple times come to repair waiting 6-8 weeks at minimum for parts and another visit. Oh yeah and they left our house without siding in the inclement weather for weeks.We had a list of incomplete repairs and although some of have been repaired/fixed, some still remain unresolved with the biggest being the window they installed is completely scratched and beat up.I have reached out to ***, Operations Manager multiple times throughout 2020 and 2021 with the latest on December 14th to no avail, no follow-up, no completely the project. I have also talked to *** who is over the service *** and called into the service *** directly with no follow-up.This is an expensive project and we went with Renewal by Andersen because of their reputation and standing behind their service and products. In this instance it is clear that as soon as they were paid for the job, they were done with us. They received a *** award but its because they only survey their satisfied customers, and obviously we are not one of them.My goal is for them to finish what they started and provide us with a new window, fix the issues that are still unresolved and be treated with professionalism and integrity as that is how we have ALWAYS treated all of them.

Renewal by Andersen - St. Louis My replacement windows are marvelous and I am very happy with the wonderful installation and service

My replacement windows are marvelous and I am very happy with the wonderful installation and service. The installer's went above and beyond to handle some issues which arose and help me with removal of some hardware on window casement's. They were meticulous with the clean up and very professional throughout the entire installation process. I will highly recommend Renewal By Anderson to all of my friends and family.

Renewal by Andersen - St. Louis I purchased replacement windows for the 1st floor of my house

I purchased replacement windows for the 1st floor of my house. I was unable to be at home during the installation so I had a retired relative watch the house while I was at work. The installation team either installed damaged windows or damaged the windows during installation, and installed window trim with the quality of workmanship so poor I would warn everybody to not let the RBA install trim. Not a single window installation was neat and undamaged. The trim installed poorly and much was damaged. DO NOT get windows installed by this company. The installation team they sent to my house, based on the evidence I have indicates they do not know what they are doing. I have attempted to contact the company half a dozen times over the last month, and have not received a satisfactory response. I have only one very brief phone message saying to call back. I have called back half a dozen times and been sent to answering machines or be told by some secretary that they would leave a note on the desk of the person whose call I am attempting return. The service I have received once the window installation began is poor. Stay away from these guys.

They came to do my windows about two weeks ago. They put in the wrong window in the front. They also put in two handles on one window. They also put some white spots on my fairly new hardwood floors. They didn't take responsibility for them. We tried a home remedy. When we told the window company about it they said they would pay for Stanley Steamer to come out. The Stanley Steamer person said they had not been paid. He called the office and confirmed. I paid them for it and some additional work, $196.00. Now there is a haze over the wood where the windows were installed. He wasn't sure if that could be buffed out. I will ask Stanley Steamer to come out and give an estimate on buffing out the area where the haze is.

Renewal by Andersen - St. Louis My wife and I had Renewal by Andersen windows installed and the windows were guaranteed for life

My wife and I had Renewal by Andersen windows installed and the windows were guaranteed for life. They are not even 1 year old. Now when I call for service there is no one to answer the phone. I have called at least 4 times and no one will even give us the courtesy of a call back. I have called and left messages that included my phone number. We paid over $14,000.00 for these windows and I would expect the service we were promised at the time of purchase.

Renewal by Andersen - St. Louis I, the undersigned, Power of Attorney for Eleanore and Elvern (deceased), file this complaint against Renewal by Anderson

I, the undersigned, Power of Attorney for Eleanore and Elvern (deceased), file this complaint against Renewal by Anderson. On April 30 and July 21 of 2014, contracts were signed for the purchase and installation of 17 home windows. The installation occurred in two phases months apart. It was discovered that 13 windows had mini blind brackets screwed into the frames, voiding the warranty and compromising their appearance. No one in the household had the inclination or ability to tamper with the blinds. On July 3, Elvern, a professional carpenter who once made wood windows, suffered a stroke, disabling him and preventing him from using tools. Eleanore was also incapable of handling the blinds and was hospitalized during most of the installation. No other household members were involved. It is alleged that Renewal by Anderson's installers incorrectly attached the brackets to the frames instead of the drywall.
