FANTASTIC SERVICE. I had to move from El Paso to the DFW area here in Texas and realized I would need someone to drive my rental truck for me for various reasons. I searched for "rented truck driver" and Rentedtruckdriver was the first result that came up. There were plenty of Google ads that popped up but I always avoid those like the plague. I followed the steps on the website and it was as straight forward as advertised. Instead of getting connected with some call center, I received my quote very quickly and was emailed, texted, and called by Frank -- the owner himself. His business is growing but I believe they will always strive for a personal type of relationship with their clients. The process was incredibly simple, straightforward and most importantly, affordable. I paid almost exactly what the original quote was so there weren't any surprise expenses. The price of gas is always going to change the final amount but Frank explains this in great detail. Frank dang near bent over backwards to help me. I can't thank him and his driver and team enough. It made the move painless. For anyone wondering, here's the process I followed. I rented the moving truck, loaded it myself. The driver appeared in front of the house the next morning to drive the truck to its final destination. We met the driver in front of our new home, he handed over receipts and explained the final charge, and went on his way via Uber to his next job. It was so easy and painless. I had the pleasure working with Brenda, Sarah, Frank and last- but certainly and hardly least- Dennis, my main man regulating the truck and precious cargo. I had a long distance move over 800 miles and had a lot of moving parts that could have easily led to mass complications. However, the team at Rented Truck Driver made it seamless and easy. They have a premier system of truck divers all over the U.S. who are also great people with other occupational endeavors, hand-picked by Frank himself. As they have a travel agency to supplement the service, they are a perfectly oiled machine from top-to-bottom. Be persistent and respectful with notice of your move and its details, and they will hook you up with the best game plan for success. Just trust them on it, and everything will be great as the most efficient, effective way of getting the job done will be executed. I was planning to be at the final location before my driver, Dennis, but he was so good he beat me to it by several hours, truck and trailer in immaculate condition. He even successfully got four very valuable plants to final location in the trailer behind the truck (but this is not recommended, as they professionally, accurately noted, and I greatly appreciate them for doing it, nonetheless, as must have been a pain). It may seem too good to be true, but it's not. I could elaborate, but, in summation, I would very highly recommend this company as a strong, critical component to your move. You cannot find a better service at a better price (trust me, I looked), especially in today's market. Others in the market may make you wary, but these guys are legit. There were other moving companies that I contacted who wanted to charge an extremely high price for an interstate move so I researched online to find a more affordable way to complete my big move. It's been a rough year for myself and my daughter, losing my husband, her father. Moving in with my daughter for a bit in another state but then the thought of moving back to our home town, states away was way more than the two of us could manage. We coordinate the move with loaders/unloaders but driving three trucks was not something we could manage alone. There are many options out there and we checked them all out but I have to admit the comfort, advice, guidance and just being a good human came shining through with ‘Rented Truck Driver' and Frank Johnson who arranged two drivers for us, my daughter drove the third truck. They are good men doing what they enjoy after retirement. Glenn saved us air fare by towing his vehicle and driving it back home. We never met Glenn personally but was in constant contact with him, we had to leave before he arrived to drive the truck and we were not at our destination before he arrived. We moved belongings from two states to another state. Randall was the best and had the misfortune of driving an older truck and broke down twice. He handled the issues with professionalism and was back on the road. He kept himself and our belongings safe and arrived where he was supposed to be on time. Randall also saved us money where he could but didn't have to do that, good men are still out there. Randall has many careers under his belt from his years, one being he's a good listener, a wise man and I'm grateful for his advice. Randall did an outstanding job and stayed in contact with us throughout the entire trip. Our drivers were accommodating to our hectic schedule and worked with us on each challenge that came our way. Outstanding Service! The amount of appreciation that I have for the team at Rented Truck Driver is hard to put into words. I rented a 20' moving truck and was towing my Jeep behind it, that's roughly 17k lbs of weight, something I did not take into consideration when I started driving from the midwest to the PNW. I got into Montana and started in on the mountains and got to a point where I was asking myself 'how much is my stuff really worth?' I called the truck rental agency to ask what my options were, they told me to go 30mph with my hazards on for the remaining 900 miles. I was in disbelief. I didn't feel safe driving up and down those mountains. I found the guys and gals of Rented Truck Driver and called from a parking lot in tears; the entire team was immediately on the call with myself and the owner of the company and everyone was working towards helping me and my family. They booked our driver on a flight into the town we were in for the next day! After getting the confirmation I cried. I understand this was a one off situation but don't find yourself in my shoes, plan your move with this company. Our driver was extremely professional and kind, I felt as if my own uncle had come to help me out. The payment process was simple and easy to understand, there weren't any suspicious fees or shocking numbers at the end of it all. Nowadays when you use a service it feels a bit like you get what you get, no person on the line, automated everything but working with this company has reminded me that there are good people and companies out there still. This is a fantastic service. Rentedtruckdriver.com was very helpful setting up a trustworthy and experienced truck driver for our long-distance move, and sorted out our logistics quickly and efficiently. He even managed to move things around ahead of an unexpected last-minute snow-storm, which had threatened to throw-off our original planning. Yet he still got us out on schedule.I'm so glad I didn't attempt to drive myself. Just the truck itself was way too big for me to manage for long, even before loading my car on a trailer behind it. There is zero chance I would've been able to handle this on my own. Besides that, I have 2 young kids, a wife, and a dog that would've suffered such a long drive even more than me.Our driver John Doe was great! He arrived from the airport at the perfect time, just as our moving help finished loading - and within a couple hours we had picked up the trailer from Penske, loaded my car, and he was already on his way. Thankfully, he got underway ahead of the aforementioned snow-storm that was bearing down on the region.Throughout his journey, John Doe provided status updates and great communication. Furthermore, he even unloaded my car off the trailer at our new house, returned the trailer to Penske, and returned with the truck for unloading (so that I wouldn't have to tow the trailer back when I returning the truck, which I was frankly afraid to do).Besides all this, this service actually SAVED me money! The quote I got from a full-service mover came in roughly the same, however, it did not include towing my car. Furthermore, I'm sure the movers would have increased the price on me once the move started. With RentedTruckDriver, I knew up front what it was going to cost, with no hidden fees or surprise up-charges. Rentedtruckdriver handled the driving for me, and my family and I flew. I will never move any other way. Because of work I often move across the country from one coast to another, while pricing my recent move to the east coast from California every moving company was both very very expensive and also had at least some nightmare reviews. Not only that, their delivery windows were all between ten and thirty days making it impossible to plan my own arrival AND each company planned on moving my things from truck to truck at least four times during the journey. After getting yet another insane estimate from a company with reviews that included loss, damage and holding peoples belongings hostage for more money, I googled can I hire someone to drive a moving truck cross country and found this place. And thank god I did. Not only was it ultimately cheaper to rent my own truck, hire movers at each end of the trip and pay for a driver to drive my stuff from point a to point b, but their arrival at point b was within seven days and I received texts and receipts for all expenses along the way. The driver was kind and professional and very easy to communicate with and the company was amazing and thoughtful and the perfect person to trust your stuff with and ensure a safe journey. Both the driver and the company went out of their way to make this trip as painless and convenient as possible for me and were so communicative and on top of everything. I dont have my license and so the driver actually picked my truck up the day before and kept it at his place over night just to be sure everything went as smoothly as possible on moving day. And it did. I really cant recommend these guys enough, why anyone moves any other way is a mystery to me. And when I have to turn around and head back west next year or so, they will be my very first phone call. Do yourself and your sanity a favor and hand your move over to them. (I dont normally write reviews, but honestly the stress and chaos of moving is terrible and the whole thing took a 180 degree turn once I found this service. I cant recommend them enough. )

I needed to have a loaded rental truck brought to me from southern Delaware nearly 1100 miles to south Florida. I didn't want to go up to Delaware to get the loaded truck. I was extremely happy to discover online that there existed a Rented Truck Driver Company with Professional truck drivers. I called their office and the owner, Frank Finklestein, and the office ladies, Sarah and Brenda, were all very professional, informative, kind, and helpful in helping me understand the details of their service and how it would work. Since I already had a waiting loaded rental truck, I needed a driver fairly quickly, so I wouldn't have to continuously be paying the rental company $40 a day for a sitting, loaded rental truck. Luckily, Frank, the company's owner, was willing and able to get me a good driver fairly quickly. I was very grateful for his persistence and speed. He was comfortable, kind, and caring to communicate with. And the discussed expenses, for the nearly 1100 mile trip, were very fair. The only 20 foot rental truck, that was available in the southern Delaware area, was a fairly older, high-mileage, noisy truck. I was so happy that I wouldn't have to try to drive it. I trusted the owner when he assured me that he would have a good driver for the long trip. He sent me the driver's credentials and bio. True to the owner's word, the professional rented driver, Harpreet Singh, proved to be a totally excellent, dependable, and trustworthy driver and person. Before 9am on May 19, he picked up the older model rental truck from a house in the southern Delaware countryside and delivered it to south Florida on the following afternoon of May 20. This was nearly 1100 miles via the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel and I-95. Everyone, who I spoke with and met from this company, was a pleasure to do business with. They made the entire procedure and delivery simple, quick, easy, and worry-free for me. I couldn't have been more pleased with this company. They are an excellent company with excellent employees. Moving is never easy and moving out of state is even more difficult. We had recently moved from the four corners area of New Mexico to central Colorado. Hiring traditional movers we spent close to 10k and went through a lot of headaches over scheduling, lost items and broken furniture. I said "never again", famous last words lol. Because of Covid we decided to move back to the front range of Colorado at Fort Collins. We didn't have the kind of moving budget to support another expensive move and frankly didn't want to endure that whole nightmare move with a traditional moving company again, there had to be a better way. John guided us through every step of the process to include conference calling our driver Mark, a retired Teacher and weekend driver, between John and Mark they made the whole process cake. I really feel like I made a friend with John and would not hesitate to hire him again, John suggested reserving a Pensky truck for the guaranteed pickup date so I did. I picked up Mark at the airport on moving day and turned the truck over to him, He kept us updated throughout the move and delivered our truck on time at the agreed upon drop off location, truck and contents in perfect condition! Nothing missing or broken and no scheduling nightmare. I would highly recommend this company to anyone for any moving situation requiring a professional experienced driver. Oh and the final cost was less than 3k including the hired labor, truck rental, driver, fuel, and insurance. Like the commercial says "Peace of mind, Priceless."

Backstory: When I first moved to Alabama from Florida, we used a company that picked the items up and drove them in vans to the destination. This is a long, detailed review because when we were moving I was looking for affordability and reassurance when researching big moving companies and it didn't happen.HOWEVER, if you want to save thousands of dollars, know where your belongings are every second and feel a ton less stress, call this business!We are newly retired seniors and needed to move thousands of miles cross country. We had checked with several national moving companies who were expensive, couldn't tell me an exact price or give me an exact time to pick up or deliver our belongings. There was also no direct communication with the people or persons that would be handling our household items. We also had two cars and did not want to drive separately for a 3-day trip. Shipping the car would have been another expense.I started researching if we could hire a truck driver and found Rentedtruckdriver.com. He called me and explained his business and i started feeling better immediately even though I was nervous. He said he had a driver in our area and immediately added him in to the call. We discussed his available dates and it began. The driver would also pull our extra car on an auto-hauler, no problem! We started on our way and the driver followed on the following day keeping in touch with us via text and phone calls the whole way.>We reached our destination 2-1/2 days later and the driver arrived on following day, gassed up the truck, met us to unload the trailer and drove the truck to our new place. I cannot possibly write a review that will do Frank and his amazing team justice. I hired Rented Truck Driver based on their reviews and they exceeded my expectations by miles. From day one Frank was very responsive and professional while at the same time being reassuring and comforting �" something incredibly helpful during a cross country move. He considers his employees family, and it shows. Brenda and Sarah were always quick to send confirmation emails, updates, and answer any questions. Frank gave me his cell number and made himself fully available. As I will write below, he went above and beyond with this and saved our move from disaster when we discovered at the last minute that we needed a second driver. Frank has a very efficient, transparent, and effective system for handling all communications, payments, etc. He is crystal clear what the cost will be upfront and how payments will be handled. He will send a very detailed email explaining everything. He is very honest and fair in all of his dealings. Our first driver Bruce *** did a wonderful job. We had a 26' truck and Google Maps ended up diverting the route over two lane roads (Farm to Market roads for those of you who know Texas) for the last 4 hours of a 20-hour drive. Bruce managed it all well and got to our destination ahead of schedule. He was easy to communicate with and very professional. But here is where Frank became an absolute ROCK STAR. We were moving from Michigan to Texas. At the last minute, literally 3pm the afternoon before we were due to leave at 8am the following morning, we figured out we needed a second truck. There were a million moving parts at play, we were exhausted and very stressed, and suddenly we not only needed a second truck, but also needed a second driver. At 3pm on a Saturday afternoon. This seemed IMPOSSIBLE. I may have had a meltdown at that point. I called Frank and this is where he became a legend. Frank calmed me down. Told me to find a truck and he would find a driver. One hour later he not only had a driver but had booked the driver on a red eye out of Dallas so that we were still able to leave the next morning at 8am. I was absolutely stunned. He then got on the line with the truck rental company with me and straightened out the details regarding the driver. He was amazing. Frank literally saved our move from disaster. Our second driver Jerry *** was amazing. He gave up family plans the next day to help us. Within 3 hours of me calling Frank, Jerry was heading to the airport. He arrived at our house bright and early at 8am the next morning. He was also easy to communicate with, was friendly, and very professional. Jerry arrived in Texas exactly when he said he would and even showed up at our new house early. If I ever need a driver again, I will only call Frank. Long story short, we moved a portion of our belongings from one location to another. We erroneously used First National, a moving company that also does double-duty as a broker (bad move). First National referred us to Condor Moving Services which was an utter disgrace. Once they transported our belongings to the destination city, Condor then transferred our belongings to another horrible company who drove it to the final address. All in all, our move was a complete nightmare and a signal of how utterly disgraceful and corrupt the moving industry is today.
