It's been 5 months and I'm still dealing with them to finish. One whole month and they haven't finished the garage door. Supposedly it needs a spring and we are still waiting. We call them and it's always a story or they won't return call. I don't think it takes a month for a garage spring. I'm so fed up already. I can't deal with this anymore. Our house had gotten hit by a car and that was enough stress for us. Now they got paid and not finishing their job. Would not recommend, so sad. They do a nice job but no communication. They don't finish.

They started working on October 1, and they demolished a part of our house. However, they haven't returned and have left us with a terrible mess. There's a huge dirt pile in the driveway that blocks access to the backyard. They also tore down the fence, which allowed our dogs to run free and caused animal control to get involved. It's now January 26, and my wife and I are extremely stressed about our once lovely home that has been completely destroyed. To make matters worse, they left their trailer with their advertisement on it in my front yard for over a month. Finally, my wife managed to convince them to remove it so that the driveway to the backyard could be accessible. It seems like there's always one excuse after another with them.

Restoration Specialists kept $1,234.64 from our insurance check. We agreed on the refund amount for our flooring before signing the check. They said we would receive the check shortly. After a month of requesting it, they sent someone who informed us that we wouldn't receive the full amount. They cited reasons that were never discussed with us - one was for mitigation (which was already paid for in a previous check) and the other was for 3rd party charges. Our change orders do not mention any of these charges.

This company is unprofessional and they charge way too much. They wanted $2077 just to put a tarp on part of my roof, which is about a third of it. Other roofing companies said it should have only costed $300-$750. What a huge difference! They sent a guy named Zach to give me an estimate for fixing the roof and the damage to my bathroom ceiling. He said he had to do a "mold protocol" because of the mold. I told my insurance agent about it, but he had never heard of that and asked for pictures. By the way, Zach came into my house without wearing a mask. The next day, Zach got sick with symptoms like COVID-19, which I found out from his supervisor. This made me get tested for COVID-19 because I'm 67 years old and not in good health. I didn't think this company was following good safety practices for COVID-19. I called Zach and his supervisor multiple times, but they never answered. Finally, I was able to talk to Zach's supervisor and express my dissatisfaction about Zach, but it didn't make any difference. It was only after that they finally put a tarp on my roof. But they didn't do anything about the mold in my bathroom, I had to hire someone else to remove it. The ceiling still needs to be repaired, and so does the roof. The company says they put a lien on my house for the $2077 because I didn't pay. They never sent pictures of the roof to my insurance company, even though I asked them many times. My insurance company closed the claim in September. Now they want their money from me because they found some pictures of the roof and the insurance paid me. Did they actually take pictures of my roof? They never came back to take any. Was this fraud? Either way, this is the worst company I have ever dealt with.
