Adaptive Marketing LLC Did not recieved what I was charged for

I purchased a product over the phone from a TV info, was pitched a line on a coupon service and was told I would receive a envelope in the mail along with a $50 dollar gift card. That I would have 30 days to cancel. I never received anything in the mail, 30 days passed and of course the charge was posted. I did not catch the first two charges but caught the 3rd, called and canceled. I wanted my money refunded and I was told so sorry, so sad. I complained a little more and they agree to refund the latest charge, we'll see it hasn't happened yet. This was a service that represented 85 different companies, no real person to complain to same answer over and over. Do they all do the same? Someone is getting very rich. I knew better but the person went on and on and I gave in. Never again.

This company has made charges unauthorized to my credit card through companies named SAVEACE and VALUEMAX and hve no way to stop.

Adaptive Marketing LLC Major scam

I conducted my bi-monthly credit card statement online. What do I find there but a mysterious charge of $19.95 from www.savingsace.com. Now, I know that I didn't authorize the charge. Frankly, I haven't bought clothes in the last six or seven months. And, I am not a consumer. I live simply. I am not looking for major deals when it comes to shopping. I buy some things online, but not the things listed on www.savingsace.com. I called the toll free number on my statement, immediately. The first thing that the computerized voice asked for was a membership number. Since, I didn't authorize this charge, I don't know my membership number. But, they are slick. They requested my credit card number. I gave it to them. The computerized voice guided me through the process of canceling. After I canceled, the computerized voice gave me my membership number. I called back to speak to a live person. I spoke with Shauna (I.D. 700070). I informed her that I thought that since this erroneous charge occurred within the last two weeks that it should be reversed. She stated that it will be reversed. So, I suppose that I can't say that I was ripped off. The company did reverse the charges. It was a waste of my time, however. I think that this case serves as a warning to all that when one signs up for one service (such as MyLife.com), there are other services waiting in the wings to steal all of your information and take money right from under you. It is a form of organized crime. Now, I'm not sure that I trust MyLife.com. It was formerly Reunion.com. I signed up because of an e-mail advertisement that claimed that someone was searching for me. It turned out that someone did in fact look for me. The Gold Membership that I purchased on MyLife.com does not reveal the name of the person 'searching' for me. I feel like a total fool. I'm old as dirt and should have known better, I suppose. But, when my membership led to another charge from another company that I would never be interested in, I became furious. I have filed this [redacted] to warn everyone that Reunion.com, now MyLife.com, is a scam outfit designed to relieve you of your money. Who knows what other companies might be affiliated with this company that does not connect anyone with anyone? They prey on people with fond memories of teenage and young adult years who are interested in connecting with old friends. The problem is that they keep stringing the member along with higher levels of membership to get the 'golden egg' of a connection with old friends. In the end, there isn't anyone to connect with. It is all a game that they play to keep the money flowing in.

Adaptive Marketing LLC Scam

I recieved a call a few weeks ago from someone claiming to be from my bank. They said for my valued service they were sending me a gift card. They knew all of my bank information, and the next day I noticed some charges that I did not make. I then had to cancel my card, upon talking to the bank they informed me that this was not one of their promotions. I then began recieving numberous calls, after answering them I realized they were telemarketers. One was for Todays Escapes, Privacy Matters 1, 2, 3 and magazines that I did not order. There was another, however, I could not understand the person, and did not agree to it but I have no idea if they are trying to charge me for it.

This has been the biggest pain, and the number of times i have recieved calls is unacceptable and the hours the calls occured are not appropriate.

Adaptive Marketing LLC Fraud

This company has charged my credit card $19.95 a month for a supposed membership service for access to discounted attractions. I did NOT sign up for this service, and when I try and log in with my supposed membership # as stated on my credit card bill, it does not let me access anything. This is a rip off scam!

AdaptiveMarketing, LLC doing business from Omaha, NE charged an amount of $19.95/month in 2010 increasing to 32.95/mo by 2013 under Privacy Matters 123 and an identical amount under Privacy Matters Identity for a total of $1922.10 until I recognized that I had no idea what we were paying for. As Julie Vegas recounted, the company claimed that my wife signed up for these services through Classmates.com. My wife is certain that she never knowingly signed up for any such service. The company refunded a total of $131.80 upon my complaint and would do nothing further. I complained to the FTC and the Consumer Protection Agency of Nebraska (CPA-NE) (http://www.ago.ne.gov/complaint). The CPA-NE followed up with the company and they refunded everything that they had collected from us. (I didn't try to negotiate for interest that might be due.) The CPA-NE saves these reports, and further action by the Attorney General of NE might be taken depending on the volume and serious nature of reports. I encourage anyone who thinks they have been scammed by this company to contact the CPA-NE.

This company also charged my credit card $19.95 for 11 months! I didn't pay attention to my credit card statements. It is a total scam. I supposedly signed up for this service through classmates.com - stay away for both of these! Look for "shopping essen" on your credit card statement
