$9.95 a mo. charges to credit card unauthorized
I have never given my authority to a monthly charge of $9.95 for the ability to find rebates for purchases I've made. I've never claimed a rebate in life! Rebate Giant has a connection to bbv Discountbooksale.com who makes a $9.95 charge to my credit card monthly. My husband noticed these charges being made in July 2011 and requested I investigate, which was uneventful. Charges have been made monthly by both since July and we don't know for how long prior to July. So figure $19.90 a month and probably since before July. Hopefully I can request "unauthorized use" to my card company and it will stop.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.

This is the 3rd month in a row that they have continued to take $9.95 out of my checking account for something that I discontinued over 5 months ago. When I call I get the recording that all their representative are busy. I was on hold for over an HOUR AND A HALF!!! This is crazy. In the morning I will cancel my checking account and open one someplace else to get this company to stop this madness!!!

I keep getting a monthly charge to my credit card when I didn't authorize it and I contacted them and canceled and made them aware of this fact

About your claim that you are still being charged after your membership cancellation with us, please contact us again via Support ticket or Phone support and we will be happy to assist accordingly.

In addition to the BBV charge each month, I evidently agreed to sign up for rebategiant.com for $9.95/mo as well. I found out was because I took a survey to save $5.00 on the product, I entered into this membership with Rebategiant.com. This is the definition of irony. This had to be canceled separately because evidently Smartgame shopper's cancellation button at the top of their webpage only cancels ONE membership and the others have to be canceled separately. BUT...if you call BBV, they WILL cancel all memberships. This is about the lowest in deceptive advertising that I know of and I am pretty good at reading fine print. I now have purchased a video game for more than retail. Never use anything affiliated with BBV. Do you homework online. I was in a hurry and did not.

I just found out why the extra $9.95/mo for Rebategiant.com. I took a survey to save $5.00 on the product. Ironically, I entered into a membership with Rebategiant by doing so.
