Scam
I ordered the Bumpits thinking it was going to be a great product it was not, I got the stupid things cought in my hair and they are worthless they do not work. After being asked about 10 times on the website during my ordering process if I wanted upgrades and other products it just said thank you for your order. They did not send a email varification. No total at all I had to wait and look at my bank statement to even find out the total.
I got the stupid things in the mail and there still was no receipt or anything just the Bumpits.
I went to a local drug store today a saw the Bumpits for $9.00 I could not belive it after I had spent $30.
I called the customer service number after being on hold for over 30 min and being 'disconnected' twice I finally spoke with the agent who did not speak any english at all. I had to ask to speak with someone that I could understand. The next person was asking for information such as my credit card number and name and adress I told her she did not need that information I was just calling to get a return adress since information seems to be very limtied on there website.They tried to offer me $10 to keep the product. She went on a little rant about how good the product is and I am obviously not doing it right pretty much saying I was dumb. Before she would even give me the adress. I finaly got the adress.
So I will never order or buy anything from there company ever again!
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Scammers
I have been looking for this product everywhere. Finally, I gave in and ordered directly from the manufacturer. First, the ordering process is very confusing and automatically adds on the Hollywood Bumpit even when you say "no." Second, the S&H is almost as much as the product! It is shipped via USPS in a 3.5" x 6" x 1" box, and takes 6 weeks to get from CT...

My daughter ordered this on a weekend. We had to take the credit card and list the card as stolen/lost in order to prevent Bumpits from getting any money due this scam. Here is a phone number sent via email for my daughter to fix her order:

Bumpits' creators, like the creators of many cosmetic items, succeed once again at targeting ignorant American woman.
It's terrible really. A good idea, in theory. But they don't stand upright on my head! They sag, and i can't even get enough hair over it to conceal them. They look cheap as well. Fortunately, i waited a while (since most everything that is sold "only on tv" eventually ends up in a drug store. I got mine for 10$, so im not that upset. But i really want it to work! I keep trying, but all to no avail. I still really wish at least the little bumpit would work for the front of my hair, but it doesn't make any lift, it's too tiny. My hair is quite thin and extrodinarily fine, hence why i wanted the bumpit. But alas, i guess that was my downfall with this product. I wonder if someone with thicker, corser hair would have had better luck. Eh, oh well.
this stupid product ruined my quincieanera! i bought them thinking i would have the most fabulous hair EVER.. and it was absolutely horrrible. i didn't have time to go to a hair salon and i was a total mess.
... i'm sueing!
Yes, I totaly aggree I also bought this product thinking it was going to be fabulous, when it came in the mail it looked like cheap crap.
I spent $40 on useless garbage not even worth $5 and no return address posted on website. More people should complain.
