On May 13, 2023 @12:40pm at the Cheesecake Factory in Alpharetta, GA. We were seated (party of 2) at 12:40pm, order taken at 12:49pm, we were still waiting for our food at 1:30pm. We asked several times where our order was, and we were told it would be out in 5 mins. In the meantime, the party of 3 next to us, who ordered at the same time as us, had...

Cheesecake Factory Service

Hello, I am writing to complain about the customer service my friend and I received the night of our visit. First, we had to ask the server (?Taniesha?) 2 times for water after the initial intake order, second, the server slammed my drink on the table with her back to us. third, i never had the opportunity to ask our server for a straw and had to go and get it myself. fourth, at the initial intake we also asked for sanitized wipes, she said she would get them and never brought them; I had to get up and ask 2 other people for them. fifth, the server never came around and check on us; the time she did come was to remove a wrapper of the sanitizer wipes we had used, I took the unopened ones off of the table and told her she was not taking those since we never received them anyway, instead of her apologizing for her crappy service, she had the audacity to look at me and say, "I was not taking them I was only taking away this" (the opened refuse). After waiting over a half an hour for our food, my friend is upset, I am upset because we could not believe the horrible service we were receiving. sixth, when I asked for another lemonade, she just took my glass, I told her to wait because I wanted my straw, she then asked if I wanted another glass, I told her yes, and I guess she had to ask the manager, Michelle, because I heard the words "manager", but I don't know for sure. well, eventually she did bring the drink. now, mind you while all this is going on, we DID NOT raise our voices; we DID NOT show out; however, we were slowing fuming in our seats. so, when we realized it was over a half hour and people next to us who came in long after us had received their food, my friend said she was going to talk to the manager. at this point, so did I! in the meantime, we are looking around at the other servers who were attentive to their tables and making sure their customers were tended to--our server came to our table a total of 3 times over a half hour period. oh, seventh, she took away the bread bowl and never asked if we wanted more. thus, when the manager walked in our direction, I stopped her and asked for some bread and we voiced the complaints listed herein. I said to the manager that she could either check on our food or give us another server because at that point, we were through. mind you, we wanted to walk out, but since our food order had supposedly been taken, we gave the restaurant the courtesy, after all, we CHOSE to go to Cheesecake Factory to spend our money, we DID NOT have to go there and be treated horribly. Well, the manager stated she would find out what was happening with our food. the manager NEVER apologized for what we experienced, which showed us the lack of customer service she had, and therefore, it reflected against her server as to her lack of customer service. We did get another server, and he was delightful and courteous (Landon). The manager came back with hot plates, and proceeded to tell us "the kitchen was backed up". I stated, how does that explain the table next to us getting their food ahead of us? the manager, again, said, "the kitchen was backed up". at that point, I said, "please, do not tell me the kitchen was backed up again" and made it know that was an inadequate excuse. Why? because she said it in a tone to try and appease us rather than be apologetic for her lack of customer service and that of her server. then the manager told us there were kitchen sections where the orders were put in. I told her that would have been better for her to say the second time instead of giving us "the kitchen was backed up" twice, like we couldn't understand! I am upset because, 1. no apology was given by either the manager or server; 2. no compensation was given, such as meal on the cheesecake factory and/or a free desert; 3. our Caesar salads had to be sent back because they were presented to us in the form of a bunch of lettuce and 2 croutons each--no shaved cheese and it was dry; 3. mashed potatoes had to be sent back because they were so salty that when you tasted them one of your eyes would close--my friend even told the server to try them so he would know she was telling the truth. when he came back to the table, he confirmed what she had said. in this day and time, one would think personnel representing the Cheesecake Factory would be better qualified and appreciative for the customers that come in. I am extremely disappointed about our experience. the Cheesecake Factory used to be a place I would enjoy going to because I could count on good customer service, good food and desert. but, my last experience put a bad taste in my mouth. I am hoping this extremely long complaint will give you an idea of who is representing the Cheesecake Factory organization and the lackluster food that is being served. I don't know if this was a one off because the restaurant was busy, but not enough for us to be IGNORED. as I stated, other servers were attentive, even when I stopped a server and asked for a straw (at the server station) he stopped with a tray and glasses and helped me. So, what was the problem with our server whereas she could not be better. Thank you.

Desired outcome: 1. I would appreciate a response, 2. an apology 3. and a refund and/or two (2) free meals (for me and my friend).

Cheesecake Factory Just simply getting service period

I live in louisville kentucky less than a mile from the shelbyville road location. I have tried twice now to order on line and be unable. I have $45 in gift cards (happy dining). One week ago I tried to use on line and it wouldn't take because the amount was more than the gift card (I have two gifts to total the $45) my husband called to put in an order and was told because they were busy they couldn't take the order and that he would have to drive there, place the order, and wait for it to be completed. Tonight, 4-2-22, at 6:50p I tried again to order thinking i'll place 2 separate orders so we don't have that issue and the website stated they were not taking online orders and that I should look for a differant location. I'm going to look for a different resturant altogether. I have 6 optons of places to use and i've tried twice to choose you. No more will I try. Not only was the host unfriendly last week when we called but trying to give business to a place that simply doesn't want it. I understand the short staff and busy times but we were willing to wait well over an hour to get our fodd if we have to but never had the chance to place an order. We have been getting devlivery from door dash prior to the two incidents to your place. Food was always left out or regular fries instead of sweet potatoe fries were given. You need to work out the kincks before you lose more customers. So for tonignt, red lobster it is.

Cheesecake Factory food and service

Had dinner at our family favorite local restaurant in Redondo Beach, as we do for almost every celebratory occasion. We also eat at the Chessecake Factory in Palo Alto, when visiting our son while he attends Stanford University. On Friday night, the 23rd of June, we had dinner at peak hour...6:30-7:30 PM. Our food took a bit longer than usual which was ok due to busy Friday night. But, the food was under par, not satisfactory for the quality that we usually get at this particular store. The Factory Burger that I ordered was minimal, very small beef pattie with hardly any cheddar cheese on it, like it was thrown on just to get it out. And, it was cold, had been sitting there for a while, before it was brought to table. My son's Orange Chix didn't look the same. Rice was not appealing as it was just spread out flat and not in usaul nice scooped mound. Chic portions also cold and spread out and not in nice appealing mound. My wife's salmon kale salad was ok, as it was first time that she orders it. Lastly, my younger son which ordered the Southern Fried Chix Sliders had to wait for his order as the rest of us ate and were almost done with our dinner before Sliders were served. I didn't want to complain there, as it was very busy and Heather, our server was nice and doing her best. I don't want anything, just want to get this info back to that store...as it is our favorite place to go, and we will be back. We totally did not get what we went there for on this given night. And now some suggestions...as I have been in restaurant business in the past. Please do not serve burger on sourdough bread! Unless, u can make a burger sourdough bun. It is not appealing and texture is not right for ground beef. Also, you need manager to walk the floor in between tables on the busiest of nights. To insure that all meals are delivered, served at the same time.

I went to dinner with a friend had one glass of wine and we each had an entree. The bill came to 48.69. I added a 8.00 tip or around 20%. When I checked my credit card 2 days later it said our bill was 123.69..I almost had a heart attack. Apparently 80.00 was added for the tip. I called the manager disputing this amount and thankfully had the receipt but...
